The room is updated/renovated and looks nice. However, the elevator was out of order during our entire 3 day 2 night stay and our room was located on the 4th floor. Not only was this unexpected and very inconvenient, the staff still required us to come down to the front desk to retrieve fresh towels etc. Very inconsiderate to your guests who didn’t sign up nor pay to not have a working elevator during their stay.

It’s a great place to stay if you’re looking for a comfortable night without spending too much. The breakfast is very basic, mostly snacks and coffee. Everyone is very friendly and attentive, and the rooms are spacious. In my case, my room also had a kitchenette, which was very convenient. I would definitely stay there again.

This was not a planned trip as we were a few hours from home but there was a rocket launch that we wanted to watch so we took first hotel with reasonable pet fees. I paid for a king suite and requested a first floor as we were traveling with our dog. We were told that the room we selected was not a pet friendly room and needed to change room. So our king suite was downgraded to two queens. Needless to say, the Elevator was broken so we had to take the stairs despite requesting a first floor room Breakfast was supposed to be included in our room however there was nothing there. We will not stay there again. Must note staff was friendly and apologetic about elevator not working.

I didn't like that the elevator was broken. I also didn't like that they only allow to give two wash rag per room, no matter how many guests is listed on your reservation. Other than that, it wasn't a bad stay.

But were rushed checking out by cleaning lady, and they didn't have hot breakfast 😕 unfortunately because we were being rushed I left my new Croc sandels in the room 😡😡😡, will we be staying in an Extended

I arrived at this hotel and was told that the elevator was not in service and I would have to climb stairs to the fourth floor if I wanted to stay. I advertised them of my age (80+) and my disability, arthritic knees. There was no way I could climb any stairs. I was told that there was nothing they could do. I left to find other accommodations. The hotel still tried to charge me for the room. Nightmare.

The elevator was inoperable. The climb up stairs to floors 3 and 4 was very difficult for many of the seniors.
The elevator has not worked since April 2026. The property management never communicated that to me when I booked the room in early May for my trip in June. I was very disappointed after staying there 6 times since April of 2025.

Very good bang for my buck, the bed was comfortable, and the large screen TV was very good. The breakfast is minimal. No hot food, but the coffee was good. One drawback was the elevator was broken while we were there, I was told it would be fixed the day after we arrived but it was not. I was pleased with the cleanliness of the room, the air conditioning worked well, and it was nice having a refrigerator and microwave.

The elevator was broken and they only had rooms available on the 3rd and 4th floors. I have both back problems and knee problems. So, it was excruciating having to go up and down the stairs during our stay. We also had to lug our luggage up and down the stairs. If I had known that the elevator wasn’t working, I would have cancelled my reservation and went to another hotel. I am in a lot of pain right now after my stay. This was a horrible experience.

When I got there at 11:30 p.m. the elevator was not working and they put me on the 4th floor so that was not something I was looking forward to. Some people talk about the traffic noise but the air condition is so loud to me it was white noise and I never even heard any traffic. I couldn't find a hair dryer but yet they have an iron but I think most people use a hair dryer way more than they do an iron. So I went to the front desk and he did give me a hair dryer and he was a very helpful kind young man. Breakfast with subpar with yogurt, granola bars, hard boiled eggs, but not much else. For the price I can't really complain because it had the basics of what I needed

While I usually have a very positive stay at this establishment, this time, my experience fell short :( The elevator was down during my entire stay and the people at the desk didn't know when it would be fixed. We were told that they had no rooms on the 1st or 2nd floor, so we were placed on the 3rd floor. My aging mother and other hotel guests had difficulty with going up and down the stairs. On the day of our departure, it took me twice as long to pack our car in the morning due to being limited with the stairs. If I would have known about the elevator being out sooner, I would have booked a different hotel.

Bradley was so helpful the first night he was the most polite, respectful employee there that I meant help me with my daughter’s check-in make sure that we had everything we needed but as far as the general manager, she was horrible ghetto unprofessional, rude human being I ever encountered. I worked customer service for over 20 years and the way she handled her Customer was so poorly. I didn’t know why she still working there.

The room was clean. That was the only positive. Beds are too soft and bedding is definitely not what they advertise for on the website.
Major issues with our stay.
Elevator was not working. At check in they told us they are working on it and will be fixed in the next couple of days. We stayed for 5 nights and no sign of the elevator being fixed. This made it really hard take stuff from our car to the room so we only took necessities and left our luggage in the car. Reading older reviews we found out that it hasn’t been working for quite some time.
There was a lot of noise issue. Some people are staying there with multiple dogs barking, hallways are not clean at all. This is a smoke free place yet the stairway always smelled like someone smoked pot.
This place is no longer an option for us on our road trips.

Very, very nice staff. Room was not cozy. Cold plastic floors and very industrial. Lamp was covered in rust.
Elevator does not work so you have to take a hot, humid, smelly dirty staircase to your third floor room, while carrying your stuff.
The nice staff made up for the fact that the place was dumpy. Won’t go back, but didn’t leave angry. Just unimpressed

We stopped here for a quick short stay. Checked in at 11pm, left 6am very next day. 1st Floor handicap unit. Great front desk guy, red head, said elevator didn't work. I said no way. I said Im in a knee brace can I get a lower floor. He said free upgrade since its only one blight. Great Service. Will be back. Clean, updated room. No view, parking lot, but we were sleep!

The room was clean, and loved that it had a full sized refrigerator and kitchenette set up. The air would never actually go below 70 degrees, although it was set on 66 the entire week we were there. The shower pressure was non existent but there were 3 floors so I expected low pressure but it was poor. The beds were not the most comfortable either, mattress was on the thinner side. The manager there was great! She was helpful with all our additional needs!

We booked last minute to stay here in a road trip.
Booked partly for the sizes of the rooms allowing us space to lay out 3 large suitcases to rearrange them, and the breakfast.

We arrived and were greeted by smiling staff. Who were very keen to check us in, I thought it was just then being helpful.

It wasn't until after we checked in that they then informed us the only lift was broken, and the only available rooms were on the 3rd or 4th floor. No service elevator. I asked to cancel the booking but told no as we had checked in - hence why they were keen to check us in.
Contacted my booking agent and they stated the hotel refused to help in any way or cancel the booking!

So had to carry 3 heavy cases and a few other bits up 3 flights of stairs with no Aircon and a humidity and temperature in the mid 90s!

Started they had a gym - 1 bike, 1 treadmill, 1 elliptical runner - not really a gym.

Breakfast was a processed, single bite muffin from a multipack, a granola bar and some weak coffee. No juice, no water, nothing.

Not a great place - was clean in the rooms, but feel I was duped by the staff

The elevator was broken, and there was no mention of that when we booked the room. All open rooms were up the stairs.
The breakfast is \"grab and go\".
There was no shower curtain in our room, but don't know if that's true for all rooms.
The location was good for us (coming from Atlanta for a cruise out of Port Canaveral), the price was fair, and the room was clean, which is what we care about the most.
We would stay here again. (Two parents and a 23-year-old daughter.)

Very disappointing! Their kitchen has nothing, but the bare cabinets. There is absolutely nothing in the kitchen: You have to go to the front desk to ask for staff! They call it “customize”.
In the closet the same thing- just a rod,
no hangers - you have to asked front desk even for that! The person at the desk asked”how many (hangers) do we need?”. This is so disrespectful to the hotel guests- afraid their chip plastic hangers might be stolen. We’ve been on the road for a long hours, came late evening tired and had to go to the front desk and ask for very basic things that are normally provided even in the cheap roadside motel.
They dot have even a coffee in the room. no paper cup - NOTHING! They falsely advertised “breakfast included”, but there is NO Breakfast! No breakfast area to eat. What they call “breakfast” is just a coffee counter with a few tiny junk muffins. In the fridge we found just two hard boil eggs, so tiny they looked like the quail’s eggs. No milk, cereal - Nothing! Even coffee was cold in one coffee urn and the second was empty. The staff was indifferent. There are plenty hotels around for the same price and with much more convenience.

I paid for a room and when I got there the elevator was broken. My significant other had wrenched her knee and there was no way she could negotiate stairs. I told the clerk the problem and received no help. No refund on the room. I am protesting the charge. Very clean hotel and room. Right off the interstate so could hear road noise on the side where our room was located. The first night the elevator was down but fixed by the second night. Water pressure was not good in the shower. No hair dryer in our room. It was listed on Hotels.com under the room amenities. We were only there for a quick 2 night stay so I didn’t call the front desk to see if any were available. Would stay again for a quick trip. Close drive to Ormond Beach, Tanger Outlets, and the Daytona International Speedway.

Knives, plates....and you could see the girl was upset that she had to accommodate me. Guests were smoking at the side entrance of the steps, filling the stair well with smoke. I was only there for a night. I couldn't imagine being there for a couple days or even weeks

I most disturbing part of my review is when I checked in and got my room and key card I proceeded to take my luggage up to the room and enter. It was late at night and once I entered there were no lights on to see very well. I pulled my luggage over to the kitchen side and proceeded to turn on the lights. Guess what - the room was occupied and I scared the daylights out of two poor unsuspecting people and myself. I quickly removed myself from the room and returned to the main desk to tell them what happened. There are many more poor issues to comment on but you get the picture with this place.

The only thing that desappointed me was that when I made the reservation, one of the main reason I choose the hotel was because it included breakfast. They only provide a packet of uncooked oatmeal, some granola bars, and coffe. I felt misled when I realized this. For that reason, I would not stay there again.

The \"breakfast\" was sparse. In French, breakfast is called 'petit dejeuner, meaning little lunch. This might be called petit petit dejeuner.
Rooms are comfortable and of decent size.

No coffee pot in the room. No blow dryer. Ice machine is only on the first floor. Conditioning shampoo left my hair like straw, make sure you bring your own. No dresser, drawers, armoire for clothes, just a 2 cube shelf thing. No pool. Breakfast in the morning is called “take away”, it’s granola bars, packaged muffins, oatmeal not made & no bowl or microwave to make it in, coffee, juice and some fruit. Pillows were way too soft, bed was ok.

While the room was clean, it was an issue to get towels. I had to take dirty towels down to the desk and then hear about how the hotel doesn’t have any, and that the guests are using too many from the staff. It was a complaint every time I asked for towels by the staff. The breakfast should not be labeled as continental. It was barely that with an oatmeal packet and a super dry mini muffin. If you’re looking for breakfast,you will be better off at another hotel or go to the gas station.

The Extennded Stay in Ormond Beach has been the cleanest, quietest and safest hotel that I have found when visiting Daytona Beach. The prices are reasonable, the staff are very friendly and the property has always been clean. Spacious rooms equipped with full fridge/freezer, counter stovetop, microwave, kitchen sink; everything you need to be comfortable for a long or short stay. I will always come back!
