Pros:
Location
Pool
Room
Breakfast (selection)

Cons:
Elevator didn’t work
Breakfast (service)
Staff (hit or miss)
Hallway smells
Road noise (street side)

Overall, not horrible. Room was just fine and mostly clean. Beds are comfortable , and bathroom was moderately clean. Breakfast was not well refilled (at all!) or maintained. Had to wait 8+ hours to get towels and 3 visits to the front desk. Hallways smelled of smoke. Pool is the best part of the property. Be sure to get a room with a pool view as the noise on the street-side was pretty bad at night. Elevator worked the first day on arrival, not for 2 days after.

Pro tip - don’t order from Angelo’s pizza…they slide coupons under the door (not the hotels fault at all, just trying to be helpful)

During my stay, the STAFF was very kind to us & helpful. When there was a concern about something, they took care of it immediately.

We were treated w/much respect & kindness from desk staff, to the cooks, maint. & housekeeping. Due to having my service dog, I volunterred to do vacuuming etc., which simplified everything.

Thank you to each of you that I engaged with for making our stay there comfortable.

It is the most terrible experience I have lived in a hotel, loud music in the rooms, dirty room, dirty sheets, bad smell inside and outside the room and garbage in the corridor outside the rooms, I have photos of what I say; I had to leave the hotel 9 hours later; I made my formal complaint at reception 5 minutes after having checked in

REVIEW FROM 6/26/26-- HORRIBLE!! DO NOT BOOK! ROACHES IN THE BED AND IN THE TOWELS WHEN YOU UNFOLD THEM. WENT TO THE FRONT DESK TO ASK FOR CLEAN TOWELS AND WAS TOLD THEY ARE OUT..
THE WHOLE PLACE SMELLS LIKE WEED.
AS IF IT WASNT NOISY ENOUGH, THE FIRE ALARM WENT OFF AT MIDNIGHT.
THIS HOTEL IS EXTREMELY TRASHY. STAFF IS NO HELP. WE TOLD THEM ABOUT THE ROACHES AND THE GIRL SAID OH SORRY...
WE BOOKED 3 NIGHTS AND ONLY STAYED ONCE. NEVER EVER AGAIN.

Over the past decade, I’ve stayed at this hotel more than 15 times, but this experience was by far the worst. Upon arrival, I was given a room that smelled of mildew. While some might find this unpleasant, I had just unloaded my car and removed my shoes, so I didn’t mind. However, the carpet was soaked from the air conditioning unit.

I went to the front desk to complain, but I had to wait an hour for a new room. In the meantime, my kids swam in the pool. After finally getting a new room, I was informed that we were booked for the next two days, so there was nothing we could do.

I took my kids out of the room, but the same issue persisted. The room still had a giant wet section of carpet from ac unit, and I had to block off the affected area for the duration of our stay.

We spent two days fighting with two six-year-olds and a one-year-old. The pool was also in poor condition. The sides were green with algae, and there were multiple cigarettes floating in the water.

I’ve stayed at this hotel with my family many times because of its excellent pool, but this experience has made me reconsider in the future. It’s clear that the hotel isn’t maintaining its facilities properly.

For the price, it was great! The ladies upfront were very friendly too. Although the parking was a bit confusing because it was so large!! But we just parked in the front and went in through there to our room. The breakfast was excellent!! Lots of proteins and pastries to choose from.

The only complaint I have is the smell of marijuana and cigarette. I wish people would smoke further from the door and maybe have and enforce a policy to be 30 ft+ from the door like other hotels and places. Smelling weed first thing in the am is a pain. Also, I feel the carpets could use a deep cleaning.

The room was big which we loved. However, there was a dirty empty cup on the balcony which showed that they didn’t really clean up after the last guest, there was also small roaches coming out at night time and stains on the carpet. We stayed for 2 nights and went down stairs many times because the room key would deactivate everytime we left the room and also I was told someone would come up to fix the tv(Netflix saying no internet on the tv) and no one came.

The whole property is pretty outdated and in need of some serious work. The only positive thing I can say is they are in a good location for those that want/need to be in this particular area, that alone is most likely all that is keeping the doors open. My ( a group of 26 of us had basically the same list of complaints) bed was horrible, the shower did not work and the in room A/C unit sounded like a jet airplane every time it came on. The ground floor patio and door was nice though, I was able to walk in and out to my bike easily.

This is where you’d book if you’re on a strict budget. The location is great, in the middle of Daytona one, Daytona 500, and the interstate. The rooms were extremely old and outdated, the carpet was filthy with big visible stains, the bathtub was extremely hard to turn on; front desk told me to twist and pull hard, I did as instructed, the back seal of he shower knob came off of the wall exposing all wires…there was no microwave in the room which was inconvenient especially if you have leftovers. The walls are quite thin, you literally hear everything! Unfortunately I was on he first floor, room above me had young kids who ran throughout the room for hours, even after midnight.. had to call the front desk. Staff were not too friendly, though one did hold my bag that I left in the room after checking out which was a plus. Breakfast was decent, need better parking, it rained over here weekend and unfortunately the entire row where I parked my car was flooded with water ankle deep (pretty disgusting being that I had just got out of the shower and had on sandals)… outside of that, it’s a decent place to sleep, I was not worried or concerned about safety, just wish they’d update the rooms and make sure everything, carpet included is clean and presentable.

Expedia needs to please get in touch regarding this booking. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. I was checked into a room that was still under maintenance. A used toilet plunger was outside the door upon arrival. Broken bathroom shelving, bathroom shower broken and no hot water, toilet not affixed to the floor and a box of cigarettes in the bathroom. Also the mini fridge was not cleaned and glass shelving left on room floor. And cobwebs on the balcony glass sliding door. I was told that Keith the maintenance person who was brought up to the room by the manager Ave, neglected to say that the room was not prepared for guests.
When moved to another room the next day, it had a continuous leaking bathroom faucet, a broken latch for the balcony door (major safety hazard) many small ants and baby cockroaches. I couldn’t sleep a wink and had to leave all the lights on all night.
And unfortunately, all surrounding hotels were fully booked and we had to stay the 3 nights and left first thing at checkout. There was no agreement of compensation when before we left and when asked to see a manager was told no one was available due to being in n meetings all day! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!! And if I wasn’t concerned about my safety and my daughter’s safety I would have stayed in my car! I am demanding a full refund.

One of the worst stays I've ever had. Im in a wheelchair, so the fact that the accessible rooms are at the very BACK of the hotel was an inconvenience. The hotel needs to be updated. The whole place smells of mildew, including the rooms. Hallways smelled of mildew and marijuana. Majority of the power outlets were broken. The internet constantly went out. This is also the 1st hotel that has ever told me no when asking for a late check out. I explained to the front desk that I needed a later check out time due to my ride being late and was told no & given an extra 20 mins to get checked out. This is my 1st and LAST time I will ever stay at this hotel! For as bad as this property is, you'd think they would be a little more accommodating to the guests.

Arrived to check-in and there was only one host at reception. She seemed very uncertain while helping the guests in front of me in line. It took her an hour to help them. Then when she started helping me it took 30 minutes. I am disabled and requested a accessable room. I was put in a room on the 2nd floor at the complete end of four hallways, next to the stairwell and as far away as possible from the elevator. The room was also not accessible as it had no grab bars and a highwalled bathtub. The room was also filthy. The bed was made and towels were put out but everything else was disgusting. The carpet was not vaccumed and had random sticky spots. There was hair and dirt in the bathtub. The headboard had tons of gross substances stuck to it that could have easily been wiped away. The mini fridge had tons of crumb sticky spots and a plastic wrapper inside. The room smelled like cigar smoke and vomit. And every single surface was sticky. The nightstands were the worst they each had multiple sticky rings from spilled drinks and when i tried to move the lamp over to get a picture, it was so sticky that is sounded like ripping off a piece of ductape. I requested a new room. I was given the room directly accrossed from my previous one. This one was also not accessible and MARGINALLY cleaner. I slept on top of the sheets. Genuinely one of the dirtiest places I've stayed in.

Reviewed on Google. We had a not so good experience. The TV did not work.properly and there was no maintenance on hand to help. The sink did not drain properly you had to hold the stopper open. The room was not cleaned. On day two you had to remove the tank and push the plunger to make it refill. We were there for Rockville which if you just want a place to lay your head then this is OK. I did not go to the concert and love just being in the room but couldn't just sit there with no TV and the room feeling dirty, and musty.
The morning front desk staff were good and explained some issues. The afternoon staff. I did not want to fool with. I talked with that person day 1 and she seemed to not really care.

I booked 2 rooms. One for my wife and I, and another for our adult daughter who was traveling with us. We had a late check-in after attending an outdoor music festival. We couldn’t wait to get checked in and shower. When we arrived at our room, a shower wasn’t possible because there was no shower curtain on the rod. We called the front desk and were relocated to a new room at the other end of the hotel. How does a well managed hotel overlook something as basic as a missing shower curtain? Also, the in-room coffee maker in our new room did not work.

Our daughter’s room was even worse. She had no hot water in the shower. They had no rooms left to move her to, so she had to take a cold shower. Then, she discovered the hairdryer didn’t work, so she had to go to bed with wet hair. Also, several lights in her room did not work.

While it wasn’t the desk clerk’s fault, she still could’ve been more helpful. She offered a less than full throated apology and had no solution for any of the problems we encountered. The property manager was not on duty when we checked out this morning when I asked to speak with them, and I had to pry the contact information from her so I could call to discuss our situation on Monday.

This hotel appears relatively clean, but it is very poorly maintained and the staff seems to have very little supervision. We paid a LOT of money for these rooms due to the high demand during a peak time. Given the serious deficiencies, we should be refunded our money.

We made a reservation for this room without seeing the hotel on Hotels.com. Upon arriving at the hotel, it was clear this was not a safe place. The property reeked of marijuana. The carpets were dirty. Many lights inside the hotel weren't working. Besides smelling like marijuana, there was also a musty smell and feel - probably because all of the outside doors were propped open. Every outside door was propped open with a rock or a piece of wood. Our room was very dirty. There was blood or nasty rust in the bathtub. The bathroom was dirty. There were sunglasses left in the room. It was nasty!!!!!! The hotel is obviously a hub for illegal activities and very unsafe. More importantly, something needs to be done about this awful hotel! Hotels.Com said they can't get a response from the hotel about our complaint. The property is refusing a refund of our money even though we were only there long enough to see that it was not a safe property. Disgusting!

Older hotel with aging systems. Carpet in my room had huge stains. Musty damp smell. Older tub had loose shower attachment on a pole, no more than five feet in height. (Maybe a disability design?). Staff were friendly and helpful. Lace needs a makeover. Oh, cord for hair dryer blocked the bathroom switches.

Staff was very nice and professional. Pool was spacious and sparkling. Breakfast was very good. I will stay there again.
