Stayed here for Welcome to Rockville. Obviously I knew going in that the bar should be set pretty low because it is a Motel 6–but this place seriously needs to be checked out by the health department. Multiple cockroaches in our room, stains on our bed sheets, flies buzzing around our lights, floors so dirty you can’t walk from the bathroom to the bed without your feet turning black, mold on mini fridge, and our door doesn’t even close all the way. Also, our phone is so disgusting that the cord is black and there was a random piece of orange trash left on it (god knows what it is or where it is from). We asked a girl at reception to please have someone clean up the dead roaches and when we got back to the room almost 12 hours later, they were still there! DO NOT STAY HERE.

Do not go barefoot in the room. I went to put on my socks and the bottom of my feet were black! You get what you pay for here. Don’t expect anything special. Sheets seemed clean and bed comfort was good. Air conditioning worked and there was a fridge and microwave.

The room had a musty smell. The furniture had water damaged and the bed sheets had cigarette burns on them . Considering we booked a non smoking room. No fresh towels for the next day. You had to bring the old ones down to have them exchanged. This room was the worst ive had in my 60 years on this earth and the unwillingness of staff to change rooms or provide daily maid service made me feel like we where staying in a motel rented by the hour!. The pool was disgusting and full of green algae. I have pictures to the above issues. I expect better quality from Expedia from the list of businesses they deal with.

The woman at the desk was the only bright spot of our stay. She helped us as much as she could. First room had hair on the sheets. Second room had a bad odor. We were only staying one night and didn’t want to spend $300 to stay somewhere else. The room was only $100 for the night so I guess we got what we paid for.

This hotel is suffering from the common ailment of low-price properties: skimping on maintenance for decades on end. There was trash out all around the property. Grass maintenance was sub-standard.

In fairness, the room was mostly clean, except for the enclosed tub/toilet wet area. In this room, there was red stains on the tile that looked like rust, but was probably some form of mold.

The most egregious part, though, is that it is located immediately behind a stripper bar. While the owner of the hotel may have no control of this (the bar looks like a former restaurant), they do have ability to prevent what appeared to be drug deals in the motel parking lot - but there is no security on the property. I would not stay there again, and in fact, left after the second night even though i paid up front for three.

The room was extra extra disgustingly filthy. There were not bed bugs but we did see a big roach. The sheets were the only clean thing in there. The floor was so nasty that my feet were black. The toilet and tub were so disgusting. There was a hole rusted in the tub. The shower tiles were slimy and mildewed. It was so bad that we went to the store and got bleacher cleaner and a mop and disinfectant. After mopping 3 times the floor still had a light brown color coming up. The tub and tub walls came clean. It was literally just filth. The shower curtain was moldy and mildewed. The walls had nasty streaks down them. There were drug addicts hanging around everywhere. And in front of the hotel is a raggedy gas station and gentlemens club. It allows pets but this place is not even clean enough for a wild animal. The pool was green. The photos are misleading. If this is the last place to go, thats the only way I wouldnt ever go back. I’d sleep in my car.

The room was visually clean. Unfortunately the floors were gross walked on them barefoot and when I climbed into bed all dirt ended up at the foot of my bed on my sheets. Never came by for the 3 days to bring us towels or change sheets. The fridge leaked water all over the floor first night. Our TV didnt have volume coming out. The property from the exterior looked run down. Also looks like the owners live in the property and had plants in buckets from Lowe's outside of the entrance of their door. It just made the property look ghetto. Overall not terrible but wouldn't stay again for the price. Stayed at plenty of Motel 6 and this one was not a recommended one.

The room was just okay if you want to just have a sleep before you leave to continue on your trip then it'll be okay but for long-term stays I wouldn't recommend.
I had accidentally chosen a smoking room and it did stink of smoke but that's my own mistake won't happen again. the motel is Surely showing its age.

Room looked like it needed major renovations. One of the chairs to sit in was part of an old restaurant booth. That chair was on the verge of falling apart and not sturdy. Wifi service was atrocious. Stayed 2 nights during Daytona 500 weekend. Wifi disconnected constantly throughout the duration of my stay. TV was a decoration only. No cable service whatsover, no streaming services whatsover. Front door was constantly stuck. Every time I opened that front door to enter the room, the door would stick. Sleeping at this property is impossible due to the motel being on top of both the 95 freeway and International Speedway. Experienced constant auto traffic noise and planes landing at Daytona International Airports. Lots of guests staying at this property were talking loudly outside of their rooms throughout both nights of my stay. Hotel staff did not approach these guests to tone down their noise volume. Vending machine non-functional. I tried to purchase a soda and \"tap\" for payment, no success whatsover in terms of paying for my beverage and receiving it. Had to drive to McDonalds to grab a beverage. For any guests staying in Daytona anytime of the year, I would recommend the following: 1) Find another motel/hotel to stay in and avoid this motel, 2) Only stay at this property if and only if all other motel/hotel properties are completely booked and you just need a bed for the night. But that is contradictory, because you won't sleep at this property.

The room was horrible. The floors were so dirty, my husband's feet were black after walking on the floor. There was used soap in the bathroom. The towels were dirty. The bathroom walls were plastered but never even painted. When the people above our room showered, the ceiling in our bathroom leaked. There were many other small issues, but the dirtiness of the room was the worst part. When my husband asked to see the manager, they said she wouldn't be in until 10 am. We waited but she never showed up. He managed to speak to her on the phone. She was rude and tried to blame us for not complaining the day we arrived. Our family was in another room and it was just a bad, very dirty.

Was under the impression that Motel 6, which historically allowed for 24 seven checking in at any time when I got there, the front desk was extremely rude and told me now it was 3 PM. It was unclear to me and therefore was not a welcoming experience nor somewhere I felt comfortable staying. As an Expedia platinum member, an indicating that to the gentleman who apparently was the owner. He had no desire to make any accommodations, and therefore provide provided no service and rendered no service. I was traveling and driving from up north and I was exhausted. I contacted Holiday Inn express down the street. They were able to accommodate my request and check me in at 3 AM and have me check out by 11 AM. Highly recommend any hotel with this one.

Let’s be honest, no one stays at a Motel 6 for the wonderful accommodations. The room was old and tired but everything worked. Plus it was clean and quiet.

What was obnoxious was no shampoo was provided. After trying to call the front desk from the non-operational phone in the room, I went to front desk to let them know and was told they don’t provide shampoo. However, I could buy a travel sized tube for $2.

Don’t cheap out on accepted essentials when the cost of them could easily be buried in the price of the room. Instead, that bottle of shampoo pissed of a customer who will likely never patronize this business again.

This place was not good at all. Dirty room, dirty towels, dirty clothes in the bathroom that obviously wasn’t ours. I was assigned a smoking room which was horrible because non of us smoke and on top of that i was charged an extra $70 for adding a third adult, when i was told it was gonna be $12(I talked to them weeks earlier). When I went to the front desk and literally showed her the message saying the $12 fee, she told me thats a mistake, it’s higher because of the activities of the weekend. My expectations were low before arriving and still got shocked by how low the overall experience was.

There were holes in the walls, rust around the bathroom doors and entry doors. Much of the furniture was swelled, chipped or broken. Looks like most of the furniture was particle board and swollen. We only got a bar if soap, no shampoo or anything. At 5'10\", the shower head was about 1ft. shorter than me.
The beds and linen were good. Considering our goal was just a place to sleep after our late flight arrival, it fit the bill, but it would have been nice to have some comfortable accommodations instead of just a step up from camping.

signs of Bed bugs in the mattress covers also had blood stains, one of the two rooms had a urine smell possibly from a Pet. We were assigned smoking rooms and were told there were \"no more\" nonsmoking available. we requested a refund as we did not stay at the facility and were denied. also, there was a couple standing outside one of the remote entry doors that appear to be smoking marijuana. They \"surprisingly\" claimed they \"found\" another room that was nonsmoking but also had signs of dead bed bugs in the mattress cover we again asked for a refund and were denied Do not stay at this property Motel 6 should be ashamed to have their name associated with this place

You definitely get what you pay for when staying at this Motel 6. The bathroom and the room were dirty. I don't think they actually clean the rooms/bathrooms. The bathroom door wouldn't shut and you could feel cold air from outside coming through the door cracks and under the door. I get the rooms are cheap but does that mean your customers should expect to stay in filthy rooms? We are moving from FL to AZ and we are staying at two more motel 6's. Maybe those other two will be cleaner? We chose to stay at motel 6 bc they didn't charge us to have our two cats. Checking in and checking out was a breeze. There were no issues with the staff.

Staff was good. Down side was a lady in the next room with a dog. She didn't follow rules. Left dog in the room. Dog the first time barked for a couple hours and pounded up next to window. Second time was for 6 straight hours. When I finally got to sleep 2 hours later owner woke me up yelling and making noise in the room. Next day got moved to another room. She should have been asked to leave that day.

Close to the interstate and lots of shopping and restaurants. Bed was comfortable nice pillows. The cleaner used to clean the rooms was a bit strong and the floors were not the cleanest. Overall a good option for a budget trip close to everything you may need.

The door going in had air coming from outside and literally about an inch of space that was not covered. It was very odd and there was very loud and we had to keep the air on continuously because of such a gap and insulation. The room was really bare bones. The bed was pretty hard and there was a one tiny blanket on it.

Probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I have travelled the whole world and stayed in jungle shacks. The walls were filthy, the room stank, the bed had stains, the doors wouldn't close. I ended up abandoning the hotel to get another because we could not handle it any longer. Did not get refunded for the day I left. Also pretty sure this place is infested with bed bugs and my wife ended up with bites in which she is very allergic. Do yourself a favor a pay a bit more money to not get stuck in this hellhole.
