The room was just beautiful. Clean and comfortable surprising for a dated little beach front motel. I assume the pool was damaged at some point and is blocked off. The parking is just okay. Very quick walk to the beach. Car access is literally the back of the parking lot. $32 to get through unless handicapped. I would stay here again if I get to Daytona again. Cute little place

Check-in was easy. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. Our room was tidied daily. Access to the beach was great. I really liked the retro vibe. There were chairs outside the doors to enjoy coffee and the sunrise, outdoor games, lounge chairs for sunbathing. The kitchenette was stocked with dishes and utensils. The only minor things we personally didn't like were the bed pillows, they were very firm, and the a/c unit was rather loud at times, the front cover was a bit loose. We didn't mind that the pool was out of service. We would stay again.

It’s so close to the beach which we loved. Most of the staff were friendly. Only one bad apple. There is a lot of damage from the hurricane so the surrounding properties are unpleasant to look at. Rooms are equipped refrigerator and stove. Stairs leading up to our room were kind of steep but thankfully no issues getting up and down. We would go again just because of the location.

Incredible stay! Brought my son here for his 5th birthday, and he called it the \"best birthday ever.\" The location is perfect—so close to the beach with a great view. The rooms were clean, the AC was ice cold, and the staff was excellent. Absolutely no complaints. Worth every penny and highly recommended for families!

We were looking for an affordable room for a quick one night stay and this did not disappoint! Although we weren’t needing the pool, it is good to note that their pool has not been fixed and the area surrounding looks like a construction zone although you can still easily get to the beach! The room was small but comfortable enough, everything we needed. The door did not close well, needed to be adjusted so it was slam or nothing, no early morning sneak outs! Was perfect for what we needed and great location.

Nice hotel... It was convenient. The pool is not working (due to hurricanes) so we had to go to their sister hotel to use the pool which was 7 minutes away. The parking suck. The staff was nice but don't ask to use their restroom in the office because you just out of luck. The room was clean. Nice size. Bathroom kind of small. Air conditioner worked. Utensils available in the room. Nice beach view and accessible from the hotel.

Upon arrive I loved how small and quaint it was. Check in was super simple and quick. Staff was so friendly.. my kid and I loved our room, the hotel was clean and smelled nice. It was quiet and private. My kid forgot spare contact so we had someone overnight them to us, Jody called us and was so sweet she took them to our room and left them on our bed because we wouldn’t make it back before she left. They were just wonderful. 20/10 recommend this place.

The pool isn’t ready they offer the use of q pool 7 minute car ride away, their pool looks abandoned matches the abandoned building right up against it. It’s a very unsightly view of the beach with that mess going on. I had multiple cars they didn’t want to allow me to park more than 1 car, I offered to pay whatever the price for the other vehicle and was denied the convenience. The bathroom was old but clean the beds and linens were fine, won’t be staying there again however the employees were very nice.

The property was very quaint. It was a perfect location, which was exactly what we were looking for. The rooms were very clean. Bathrooms were very clean. Kitchen was great. You could actually make a meal in there and there was a full refrigerator including a freezer. Only complaint there was no pool. It was under construction due to the hurricane hopefully when we come back next year, the pool will be up and running. Will definitely come back. Staff was awesome

Booked last minute on Expedia and arrived late in the day. Jodi and the team had to hustle a bit to get the room ready, but by the time I finished check-in, everything was set.
Room was spotless, AC worked great (huge plus in Florida), and I had a balcony overlooking the courtyard with an angled view of the ocean. You really can’t get much closer to being on the beach unless you pitch a tent.
Parking was easy and convenient, right next to a drive-on beach access point. The room also had a nice little kitchen setup, which was a great touch—only thing missing was a coffee maker.
Overall, a solid stay and a great value for the location. Would definitely come back.

the hotel/motel looks absolutely nothing like the photos, it was extremely old and out dated, plugs to plug phone in was a power surge, the bathroom was so out dated, the pool was torn up never mentioned anything about renovations, when the door was shut and locked at night you could see outside. The air conditioner smelled moldy when on and although the room was clean the cleaning product that was used was the worst odor of cheap cleaner

After we checked in we were told that the pool and deck had been damaged from a hurricane and the entire area was closed. In checking into this, we found that the hurricane damage had occured THREE YEARS prior to our stay. This is not acceptable. Had we been told this prior to booking we would not have stayed here. Our first time staying there overall the experience was good. It’s super outdated. It was hit by a hurricane a few years ago, so the pool is not working. It’s under construction for the last 3 to 4 years overall, we are very happy with our stay other than I wish, the pool was open, but we had a great time with our family. The pool is under construction so our ocean front room was blocked. The beach access was blocked due to pool construction. I booked the oceanfront room with a view and due to my husband’s disability our room was switched to a downstairs room with a blocked view. It was very inconvenient for my husband to walk around in and out of the beach. He went and talked to the. manager. It was nice of him to give us some credit back. After all, it was a good stay. I’m sure once the pool is completed it will be an excellent hotel.

But, it's an old property which is under some renovation fom storm damage and whilst the room was clean, and covered basic needs, It was old and showing its age in some of the room fixtures. It’s an older property that has been shown a lot of love- all new furniture and accessories, fresh paint, extremely clean, and staff are very helpful and friendly. We had a great view of the ocean and beautiful courtyard with all new tables, etc. The weather was crappy so we didn’t get to enjoy the beach but it was also clean and beautiful. Parking is limited and tight. The room, however, is very tidy and clean. Everything you need including kitchenware. I was hoping to get hot water and a to-go cup for my instant coffee, and lobby has none. The room does not have to-go foam cups either. There is a coffee maker and everything you need, but you can't take it to-go. The other unexpected issue is they required a security deposit of $150. Its not a big deal, but it should be noted, so not a surprised to guests.

The ac in my room was broken called the front desk four times she called back and told us that maintenance wouldn’t be there till the morning and hung up. Our trip was from 7/10-7/11 we checked in around 5pm and turned the air on then went to the beach came back at 9pm the room was blazing hot. Morning staff were more than helpful but that did nothing for us and our 6 year old that had to sleep with it be 85 degrees in the Florida heat. The out side is a little sketch someone was cutting hair outside and screaming upstairs. But the people did seem chill. I can confirm that the rooms are super clean be it a little small. Outta everything was definitely not worth the money to stay there in the heat.

The pictures had to have been taken when the Hotel was built in 1806. They don’t mention the amenities are at a different location. Comfortable if you don’t mind sleeping standing up or showering with shoes on. $200 a night I expect at least a vacuumed floor. I’m all for eco friendly hotels but this one was more like biodegradable. The floor was falling apart. Location was questionable. if you don’t mind tattoo shops, strip clubs and liquor stores all around then this is the place for you. Don't forget your tetanus shot and come strapped prior to staying here. Won’t be back. I’ll sleep in my rental car next time.

It was different from what I saw in the picture, and the road leading to the beach was all broken. The swimming pool also looked different from the picture and the smell of cleaning chemicals filled the room, making it difficult to relax.
