This place should not be in business, it is inhabitable. The moment you walk in you can smell the mold. Ceilings cracked and falling apart with water damage. Looked like a dump, furniture dated, dusty with paint and ceiling pieces on it. Walls peeling pain. Doors did not close properly. Place also has residents living there. Very questionable all around. While waited for a refund people would check in and check right back out. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE ALL TOGETHER! VERY TRAUMATIC FOR MY FAMILY AND MYSELF. HEALTH HAZZARD. MY ASTHMA TRIGGERED ALMOST INSTANTLY. HORRIBLE

The location is right in the middle spot of what Daytona offers. The staff is VERY professional, genuine & helpful. The rooms are a bit dated BUT clean, spacious and private. I liked the vibe of the pool because the guests were engaging not snobby! The beach was a mix of busy and peaceful- again a perfect mix!it was pet friendly with rules as it should be. Great experience!

You get what you pay for. The hotel is on the beach and extremely reasonably priced. The first sign of problems occurred when we were given a 3rd-floor room and told the elevator did not work. This was not a recent event, as it looks like it has been out of service for quite some time. The rooms are old and well worn. The door to the balcony for our room did not close all the way and had to be lifted to open. Once on the balcony, you can see the Atlantic, but the AC unit in the adjacent room had been replaced with a window unit, and the frame was cut off and just left on the balcony.
The bathtub had been painted, and the paint was peeling. There was a sofa in the room, but too many mysterious stains on it for me to want to sit.
If you require a very cheap beach efficiency, this place fits the bill.

Room was not clean. Floor was slick with condensation from wall AC, but at least it was ice cold in the room! Had to wash all the hair out of the tub before showering then dried off with very worn towels with stains. Before we could sleep, it was a game of \"Who Can Kill The Most Roaches.\" That was not cool!

Bedspreads were clearly not washed. Felt icky and smelled.

Tub faucets and spouts were so rusted and jagged from years of use and being close to the salt water. Nice partial view of the ocean to help the time there. Will never stay there again.

We booked a one night stay. It is a very old hotel but there’s no excuse on the general condition of the room. The entry door barely shut and locked. The sliding door to the balcony had to be shoved to open. There was mold on the walls and wall decor. There was a ceiling fan that the blades drooped like it had been subjected to moisture for years. The actual beds smelled musty. The sheets were stained. The cover on the box springs was nasty, brown, spotted, and stained. One headboard was hanging off the wall. The lampshades looked like they had been there since the hotel was built. Elevator didn’t work. Pool was cloudy. Let’s just say, lesson learned.

Checking in was fine, that is the only good thing to be said about the whole place! Bugs and dead bugs everywhere, the smell of Marijuana was extreme. Bedding was stained, room was dirty, ripped upholstery, leaky faucet and a did not work properly at all, ceiling fan was caked with dirt and inoperable. I would never recommend this place and never return! It is a health and safety hazard to anyone!

The front desk agent was nice, but the room was dirty, only had 2 towels and 1 wash cloth for 3 people for 2 days, asked for more but front desk said they didn’t have any more. Only 1 outlet worked in the bedroom area and it was behind the night stand and falling out of the wall. Sliding door to balcony broken and wouldn’t lock, bed was broken. Stove and refrigerator were dirty, rusted.

No one on staff 24 hours. My room door was open when I came late at night. There were crumbs on the floor and bugs and I didn’t bring any food. My door had a piece missing and you could see light thru it. The walls had spackle on them but no paint. For $225 a night I would never stay there again.

Giving this property an over all 3 because the staff was very nice and the view was spectacular. We had to book this last minute because our original accommodations were cancelled by the host last minute for no reason. The hotel is very run down and old. It has a lot of potential but the owner doesn’t seem to care about updating or maintaining the property.

Do NOT book this property it is the worse place I have ever been to. Roaches everywhere, hasn’t been cleaned in months. False advertisement with the pool photo that’s not theirs it’s the hotel beside them. Bed frame and box springs broken and not even the correct size. Random liquids in a cup left behind in the sink. No proper drain in the tub. The ceiling was drooping so bad due to flooding from the room above. People outside passed out in vehicles. Kids running around with machetes. VERY UNSAFE CONDITIONS

CONTACT DIVISION OF HOTELS AND RESTAURANTS!!!!! We did not stay on the property longer then 12 minutes and were refused a refund at this time. I advise anyone to contact Border patrol, code enforcement, divisions of hotels and restaurants along with filing a suit for theft of service. This place is a scam, horrible conditions, mold, vomit, urine alllll over the entire room. Mattresses were brown. Then the staff tells you that you will be granted a refund and then denies it. Then they refuse to answer the phone. I have contacted every name listed above and have multiple pending investigations, Let’s not forget to mention the amount of drugs on the property. DO NOT STAY!!! Also the Expedia will only send you a $100 credit and state that’s all they can do.

I booked this room and less then an hour later tried to move the date as i booked the wrong weekend. This weekend was prom and i hit the wring one. The hotel would not even respond to a message to even move the date let along a refund. Any response would have been curtious even if it was a no to everything . They simply ingnored me as well as the website i booked through.
I sent several messages and no one would even respond. I find this very rude. I deserve at least a response. Yes, my mistake. I wanted to surprise my wife after all the stress of our daughter going through chemo and simply booked the wrong date that happened to be my sons prom.i tried to correct within 1 hr. Make sure u know who u book with some people have no sympathy. Even if they were gonna tell me no to everything i at least deserve a respone if ur gonna take my money for nothing.Terrible

DO NOT BOOK HERE! The gentleman at the front desk that checked us in was very nice. But the hotel is run down, dirty and we felt very unsafe. We did not end up staying the night there. We booked 2 rooms, the first room, the lights did not work, the second room, the front desk attendant could not find the keys for, so he gave us the \"master\" key, and said don't lose it. When we approached the room, the lights were on inside, but the key did not work. We left to find somewhere safer to stay. I would not recommend it to anyone. They would not give us a refund, and hotels.com could not help getting us a refund.

Literally the worst place we’ve ever stayed at. We checked in at 3pm and had to check out at 330pm. Straight up crack heads everywhere. The room door wouldn’t lock so it wasn’t safe to even go to the beach with our belongings inside. The sliding glass door was inoperable. Could not open it but thankfully the meth fueled front desk worker said they have a “stick” in the door so know one else could open it either. The worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at. We’d give negative stars if it were an option. Do not bring children here. Very unsafe.

We survived!! Sketchy but cheapest place by a long shot. They have long term tenants. Parking is crowded. Very old school hotel (which i like) this place has the potential to be great again if management could renovate. TV didnt work but front desk helped. The insides were 1970’s. The door had about one inch gap under door. We had the best room in the whole location, top floor sea front room overlooking the pool and ocean. Pool didn’t run and pool heater hadnt run in years but people were swimming in it!! AC worked great and the Hot water was wonderful. The sheets were brand new literally! The towels were also just out of the package. I would love to see this place renovated and made into a historical retro hotel.

You had to work at it to get the balcony door open, there was zero ice, and there was zero hot water, fridge barely works and tv was small. There was no way to plug the tub up so my daughters could take a bath and black mold everywhere. Overall a horrible experience.

This place is so run down, neglected, and outdated that giving it 0 stars feels generous. It's only saving grace was the guy working the front desk during the day. There wasn't a single thing that wasn't in disrepair or straight up not functional both in the room and on the property.

physical key (I've literally seen better locks on a home residence bathroom door), deadbolt was just the lever without an actual deadbolt in the door, no chain or other interior door security, peephole in door was simply a hole full of condensation, most of the electrical outlets didn't work, ceiling fan didn't work, bathroom fan didn't work, smoke alarm didn't work, TV remote missing, TV was smaller than most computer monitors, missing flooring, rusty bathroom mirror, rusty & broken sink, cracked and broken bathtub tiles, toilet had little flushing force, bathtub was over ankle deep during a 3 minute
shower due to slow drain, more water coming out of tub fill faucet than shower during shower, no drain plug/stopper for sink, bath towels were barely 36\" long, balcony sliding door was barely functional and the \"lock\" was a piece of wood in the door frame, beach access gate lock broken, beach access stairs sit at a crazy angle

The place was filthy. Black mold. Hair everywhere. Bathroom sink clogged. Dried food and sauces on tables. Broken tiles. Gum stuck on a tile. Feet stuck to the floor. Towels had stains all over them. Paint anywhere outside the lines apparently. With fees I spent $570 for two nights. Price gouging due to the Daytona 500 for a place that should be condemned. I should be reimbursed. Took a 6 minute video and I’m ready to send it to the health department of that county. I have bites on my body, I better not have taken bed bugs home with me. Absolutely disgusting room. Amazing they are allowed to operate. I’d rather sleep in the woods. Saw another reviewer say it should be condemned. 100 percent correct. Any positive reviews have to be fake. That place needs to be bulldozed down! I could write a book about how awful it is. The roof leaks, the bathtub felt like it would fall through the floor, the sliding glass door did not lock and we had to manually pick the door up to open it, the front door lock was so bad that someone could easily just pull it open, the heater did not work, the floors stay damp and slippery, and it just felt gross! The staff was very nice, polite, and friendly!

The room was not up to standard. It’s a no smoking room and had a full ashtray behind the dresser. The floor between the beds was filthy with debris on the floor. The hood vent to the stove was full and needed replacing the doors were print and dirt stained. The deadbolt was rusted and showing the internal parts. When brought to the management/owner the team became defensive. The next morning we got apologies and were asked to show the housekeeping team what our issues were.they were told I am allergic to cigarette smoke so I wa pretty miserable. Once they were shown the issues it was repaired but we were only there 3 nights. No room switch was offered l. We appreciated the attention but it could have been looked at immediately and we later learned there were other rooms to switch to.

The looked deteriorated. There was rust on the appliances, mold and dirt behind the night stand. The door to the room was horribly scuffed, the locks rickety.
The staff was polite and kind, but I couldn’t stay in a place that felt dirty. I checked in, grabbed my luggage and checked right back out after looking at the room less than 30 minutes later.

I don’t know how this place can stay open publicly with how run down and neglected it is.

No one to check in with. Sign said back in ten, which they were. No real hotel sign outside:( desk clerk was nice & polite. Room stank of something. Walls are paper thin. Main door only had lock and key with deadbolt. But door was rotted out on bottom. Sliding door to beach, would not slide. Once opened prayed to get it shut. Fridge rusted on front no outlets available for recharging Could go on. It is an antiquated hotel which needs lots of rehab for a good price on the beach.

This place is an absolute dump. We reserved two rooms. Both were deplorable. After check in we were informed the property had no hot water. The elevator was broken and the property overall is dirty and unkept. We arrived to our room with a door that was barely able to lock. The ceiling fan broken, patio door handle falling off on the inside and completely missing from the outside, the sliding door wouldn’t open wider than 6 inches, then wouldn’t close, tiles along the balcony were crushed with cement pieces and rocks visible underneath, and the room smelled heavy of stale cigarettes. When my husband went to the office to tell them how disgusting the room was we were given no options. We decided to leave after being there no more than 20min. After loading up our cars and kids, the office staff member came out and offered to switch our rooms. We explained filthy and unsafe the property is and denied the room change; considering no rooms on property had hot water.

This place makes hotels.com look bad. It was easily the worst hotel experience we have ever had and almost ruined our day. Thankfully we found another hotel (Perry’s) which was wonderful.

The two male front desk clerks were very nice! But the hotel is TROUBLE! The refrigerator leaked water from the top into the bottom which ruined food we had. The front desk guy was super nice, speedy check in. We went to our room and immediately found German cockroaches in the kitchen area, coming out from the sink drain and behind the tile. Walking further into the room, I pulled back the comforter and noticed ants in the bed. The plaster on the ceiling above the bed looks to be falling. Holes in the walls. I didn’t expect much for $65 but I don’t expect bugs in any room I pay for. We were there for all of maybe 10 minutes before going back to the desk and checking out.

Very dirty. Poor condition. Toilet didn’t flush for 2 days. Only one desk person and the maintenance guy were helpful. Prior guest’s food wrappers on floor and balcony. $30 daily pet fee - notified at check in AFTER booking online. Lousy breakfast choices but the coffee was ok. Overall nasty and run down.

Do not stay here this place is trashy filthy and unsafe. Had to change rooms multiple times and all the doors and locks were not working. AC didn’t work well. Go stay anywhere else but here Zero stars!!

The hotel manager and staff were very courteous. They upgraded my room due to an issue with the one I had originally reserved.
However, the hotel is quite old, and the AC in my room was leaking water.

This is a total dump, we are demanding our money back
arived at 3 o'clock my wife and I refused to even enter the place, my daugther asked about the room saying \"hey how bad can it be? LOL\" She came down and said lets get the hell out of here..... The room \"a dumster fire\" wasnt ready and acording to here looked like the previous people left days ago and she said upon arival to the room it was just left wide open we are definetly fighting our carges on this dump they need to tare down and rebuild

the tub dont drain and water backs up into the sinks and tubs . The light and fab didnt work and the air conditioner made a loud noise and hardly cooled the room. Floor was dirty because feet and socks got black . water stains all over the room and literally had walls peeling apart. Needs a major upgrade we tried to stay a second time but we wont ever book here again

Very dirty, unsafe condition, mold in the rooms, this facility is falling apart and its sad the Expedia have this hotel on their website as 4.1 *the bedding mattress is absolutely disgusting, i unfortunately stayed there for one noght and left earlier, do your self a favor, don't stay here

Great location but that's about all it had going for it. The place was pretty run down and didn't have any working amenities like ice machine, laundry room etc. The room we stayed in wasn't very clean and all the linens were stained. I would probably not stay there again.

\"Beachfront\"

The view of the beach was pretty good, I didn't like that the balconies were so close together though. The room itself was not the greatest. The sliding door to the balcony was very hard to slide open and it didn't close all the way or lock properly so there was a stick in the track to keep it from being opened from the outside. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable and there was a pink stain on the corner of one of them. The tv kept randomly turning off throughout the day and night for a good 2 or 3 minutes then would turn back on. The shower pressure was nice but the temperature wasn't consistent and the drainage was not good. There were a couple of tiles that had a piece broken and loose. Honestly there was rust everywhere. Even the front office outside looks like its falling apart. The pictures online made it look a lot nicer than it actually was. All in all it wasn't great. We probably won't be going back there.

I never like to give bad reviews but this is an old building. Door was open with a key that was hard to turn. The slide glass door to the patio almost came off track. Front desk was not open till 8am....he was late.

It was a decent place for the price. Very out dated and could use a lot of TLC but you get what you pay for! Can’t beat the view and convenience of location.
