A terrible experience; check-in was delayed by an hour, and although they offered to make up for the lost time at check-out, they later reneged on that agreement. Reception never resolved anything, blaming their housekeeper for their delay upon arrival nor the failure to honor the agreement at departure. We will never return.

My family and I had a great experience at your hotel the only negative feedback back that we have is the hallways and elevators are extremely hot, but the main issue is you need to create more parking for your guest, that was an issue during our stay trying to find parking once we left premises and returned. Other than that visit was enjoyable.

The view was amazing loved the easy access to the beach. The breakfast was great but I just wish it was extended until 11 sane with the pool hours. All staff members were friendly and helpful. I left my keys in the room twice and they were super helpful in the process of getting me another one!! Definitely will stay here again!!!!

This location gave us a great experience because of the room view and the kindness of the front desk employee \" Giovanni\".
Still there were some cons:
The lady of the breakfast buffet gave us a really bad attitude, rolling eyes & back talking. Wasn't only us but she was doing the same with everyone, she seemed like she was forced to work.
Also you'll notice the rust in a lot of positions within your room \" I believe it's because of the humidity\"

I was on the fence about booking this place, and if you are too let me help you: don’t. The room itself was okay. Not very clean or particularly nice, but not awful. The main issue with this place is the staff. We must have talked to five different employees during our stay, and each one of them was completely incompetent and very unpleasant. Also, the parking situation was horrible, the breakfast was mediocre, slowest elevators I have ever seen, and there were no chairs on the balcony which made the balcony very difficult to enjoy. I was very disappointed since I have stayed at this hotel before and remember it being very nice; sad to see that it has gone horribly downhill.

only 2 small elevators for 10 floors of people, only enough parking for 1/2-3/4 of the guests staying at hotel, so don’t drive to dinner or you will not have a spot and have to run through the pouring rain across a busy road with kids in the middle of Daytona.

nice view, decent breakfast(great for kids), nice pool (also great for kids.)

It had good and bad points. Breakfast was great. Free parking, free wifi. The ocean was great. No air conditioning in our hallway made it hot while waiting for the elevator. Eventually they kind of fixed it and it was still warm but not hot. Rooms smell musty, but I assume that's the case everywhere. Some things need cosmetic repair in rooms like rust on bottom of lampshade, chrome coming off shower faucet. Staff seems stressed and overworked, maybe understaffed. We told 3 different people at the front desk our phone didn't work and it was never fixed. Staff doesn't write issues down for the next shift. Still decent for the price.

Really the only thing going for this hotel is direct access to the beach. Had it not been for that I may have ranked it lower. Rooms are very dated and badly in need of refurbishment. Bathroom door wouldn't stay closed unless locked it rolled right open. Dresser drawers also dont stay closed and just hung half open. Breakfast also sucked with not much available. Luckily we were just staying one night to have a beach day before going to Disney. Had we planned to stay longer I would have checked us out and found a different last minute hotel. Would not stay here again.

If it were not for the stained comforter, stained couch cover (with falling apart cushions under it), and hole in the wall, I might have rated this “good.” The rooms are old. The hallways are hot and smelled like weed on day one but better the next two days. Elevators were slow during peak hours. I wanted to leave and book something else, but we decided to suck it up for 2 nights and just leave early evening of the 3rd night to head home. Positives are that it is on the beach (the park next to it has a ramp for carts), pool with shallow area for young kids, breakfast was good, and the shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. Beds were the least comfortable of the 3 Hyatt properties we stayed at this trip. I would not stay again, but it could be good if you are looking for a budget option and don’t plan to spend much time in your room. However, we stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott two years ago and I would pay more to stay there in the future.

We found a cockroach in our room as soon as we arrived, and the smell of marijuana throughout the hotel was overwhelming. The staff were not very helpful when we brought up our concerns. To make up for the issues, we were told that compensation points would be added to our account. However, after returning home and checking, we never received the points that were promised.

If you’re traveling with young children, I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel. Our experience was very disappointing, and we definitely won’t be returning. Too bad I can’t take pictures of smell/odor.

No one was at the desk upon arrival we're around the corner eating, one person. She didn't smile she barely spoke.
Elevator opened to a humid, very hot corridor, room smelled like cheese, when is back down to request another room and I waited 15 minutes for someone to show. No one. I even knocked on the employee only doors, nothing. I called, could hear the phone ringing, nothing.
I got to the new room and turned on the lights and the bed and bathroom cooked clean enough and at seven in the evening chose to get ready for dinner and call it a day.
I went to change and upon stepping on the carpet it was damp. I went to look out the balcony and there were ashes on the rail and rotting food someone through over. Upon getting in the shower that keep me when I came back from dinner there was a booger on the wall so I know for a fact nothing in the shower was cleaned. I went to turn around and the drain seal came off and heel went in!
The pictures do you see online must have been taken when the property was first new. I cannot believe Hyatt allows this.
I checked out over 4 hours ago and still have not received an email of any charges or receipt. Never again.

Our experience was very disappointing. The front desk staff were rude and unfriendly throughout our stay. There was only one employee working at check-in, which resulted in a very long line and an excessive wait time.

The property itself was not clean, and the pool appeared dirty and poorly maintained. Several rooms had air conditioning issues, and the AC was also not working in the hallways and common corridors, making the environment uncomfortable.

In addition, the breakfast selection was very limited and lacked variety. Overall, the service, cleanliness, and maintenance of the property did not meet our expectations, and we would not recommend staying here.

Distance from is the beach is really close as you can go from the pool area to the beach etc. The only irritation is there is only 2 elevators in that whole building with 10 floors. So it can take time waiting on the elevators and sometimes the can have a crowd waiting. The stairs are only for emergency going down , there is no access going up. Besides those issues, the staff were friendly and the rooms were nice. All rooms you can see an oceanfront. Some are partial and some are full view. Bar is nice too.

One elevator was not working during spring break vacation leading to long lines for trying to go to their floors. No stairs access within the building needing have exit doors propped open.
Breakfast was a chaotic mess without clear directions and organization.
No additional towels available.
Though the staff was very pleasant and helpful and the facility was kept spotless, this type of issues with the amount of competitors in the area is detrimental to your business and reputation.

I stayed here for four days, and I’ll say this upfront—I won’t be staying again, no matter how cheap it is.

The owners (I’m assuming), a tan man with dark hair, were extremely rude. I asked a simple question about why the key knobs on the outside doors weren’t working, and he snapped that they only work from inside to outside. It didn’t make much sense, and the attitude was unnecessary. An older blonde woman who was always around him also had a constant standoffish look—no smile, no greeting, nothing welcoming.

The room had a great balcony view, but there were no chairs, so you’re stuck sitting on cold tile. The bathroom was honestly disgusting. The door wouldn’t lock and was just a flimsy sliding panel that didn’t stay in place. It all felt very worn and unclean. The hot water worked well, but it was randomly shut off one morning with no warning. The walls had stains, and while the beds were comfortable and seemed clean, the carpets felt grimy—I kept socks or flip flops on the whole time.

Breakfast was basic and nothing special. When we asked to extend one more night, we were immediately told no with no explanation.

The weather was windy during our stay, but the pool had debris sitting in it for days, including a floating trash can. Other nearby hotels kept their pools clean, so it felt like a lack of effort.

Overall, between rude management and poor upkeep, it’s just not worth it.

Decided to take my family of 6 (2 adults & 4 kids) to Daytona for a 5 night beach trip

Our stay was overall Quite and not noisy hallway traction other then a few drunk people every now and then (hotel advertise quite time starts at 10pm)

Gym was small but got the daily workout done however the water machine in the gym wasn’t working

I was shocked at how many Young kids was running around hotel alone

Asked front desk about restaurants near or food delivery that wasn’t DoorDash and said they they wasn’t aware of anything

I’m honestly shocked at how bad our stay was, especially for what we paid (over $2,000 for our family). From the moment we arrived, the staff was consistently rude and unhelpful. It felt like we were inconveniencing them just by asking basic questions.

The hotel was fully booked with only ONE working elevator for 10 floors, which meant 20+ minute waits every time. The hallways had no AC and were easily 90 degrees, so waiting was miserable. We ended up taking the stairs most of the weekend—only to find out they dump you outside with no way back in because the doors lock behind you.

Our room was missing basic essentials like soap, and the balcony door would get stuck open, which felt unsafe. My mom’s room was even worse—strong mildew smell, barely working AC, rusted lamps, a broken balcony door that wouldn’t lock, and a toilet paper holder falling off the wall.

The “included” breakfast was terrible, and even though they advertised 24-hour front desk service with food available, staff would randomly say it was “closed” if they didn’t feel like helping.

To top it off, we were locked out from the beach at 9:30pm and had to shine flashlights into windows just to get someone’s attention.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Definitely not worth the money.

The main issue with the stay is that there was only one working elevator. Stair access is outside and requires badge access but was not working. Was told only maintenance could open it and they weren’t here. Just seemed like a huge safety issue, more than 15 people in the elevator due to huge waits. Was willing to climb the 6 flights of stairs to our room but wasn’t allowed. It just seems like they need more help maintenance and upkeep wise. Would not recommend booking at this Hyatt. Way too many inconveniences. For starters out of only 2, there was only 1 elevator working and this property had 10 floors. So most of my vacation was spent waiting on the elevator. The steps weren’t an option the hotel locked the exit door to the steps stating it was a safety hazard so you were forced to wait 10-15 minutes for the 1 working elevator. My stay was for 4 nights and we never saw housekeeping. We had to ask the front desk for fresh towels and toilet tissue since the rolls our room came with were halfway used. This also required waiting on the 1 elevator to go downstairs. The parking is extremely tight so just expect for your car to have new dings and scratches. There are no microwaves in the room but the property said they provide a “community” microwave well it disappeared on my 2nd night being there and the front desk said it was broke and they did not replace it. This was a very disappointing trip and when I went to speak with the manger to see what plan they have in place for all the inconveniences I had this weekend I was told there was nothing they can do since I booked through a 3rd party. Very disappointing and the staff was really inconsiderate.

was given a room when first checking in walked into a room with a naked man lying down, wrong room to start off vaca no accommodations were given after water was cold in shower bad experience.

The was ocean front with a nice view, I only wish there would have been chairs available for the balcony.
All the staff including the front desk were unpleasant to deal with as if they did not like their job or their patrons.
I will never stay at this Hilton location again and will have to scrotinize others further before staying at any Hilton.

Beautiful new pool. Convenient beach access. We had a 10th floor ocean view room which had beautiful beach & intercoastal views. Free self parking. Reasonable breakfast included with your stay.
Comfortable king bed. Shower lacked water pressure and the rooms are showing their age.
All in all, an excellent stay for the price. So glad this hotel is back to its pre-hurricane condition.

The room was very clean, it had a pretty ocean view and was very nice and relaxing. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the breakfast was delicious! I highly recommend

Perfect view of the ocean from our room. Even during bike week the hotel wasn't noisy. Parking did get a bit tight, but when bike week ended there was plenty of parking. I would definitely stay again.

Ocean Front, clean room and the staff was excellent. Could spell pot from our room every day we were there, this was very annoying, as we don't smoke or do drugs.

The paint was chipped. The curtains were stained. 2 out of 3 bathroom lights were out, like not working. I messaged to ask for early check in. Received a phone call from a staff member who said I could check in at 2pm only to get there to be told they didn’t have any rooms available until 4pm

Hyatt should be a shamed of themselves for even putting the name Hyatt on this hotel. The hotel is dirty, the carpets in the hallways are dirty, we got off the elevator and it must have been 100 degrees in the hallway going to our room, the door would not latch without lifting up on the handle. I paid for an oceanfront room so we could sit and watch the ocean, there were no chairs on the balcony, the girl at the front desk told me it was because of the hurricanes which were 2 years ago. My wife and I took showers that next morning, while in the shower the water would change from hot to cold to scolding and at one point the water shut off completely so we had to wait in the shower for the water to come back on, and the shower head was horrible when we actually had water, I was also told by the girl at the desk that they know about it but She didn’t know anything else. The shower handle was very loose which made it difficult to even adjust the water temperature. The shower doors were very hard to open and close. I had to fix the toilet because it would continue to run and never fill up. this happened 2 times during our 2 day stay. The breakfast was good, the room was good the bed was comfortable. I will never stay there again or any other Hyatt for that matter and I would not recommend this hotel to any else.
