Nice renovation job done on the motel. The rooms were clean and well stocked with toiletries, coffee maker and coffee. The details were thought of. We enjoyed our stay overall. We were a bit disappointed that the hotel threw a party in Saturday night and allowed the public to attend. When we arrived back from dinner, there was not a place to park because of the party. It was loud all night and kept us awake. When I asked for a late checkout, my request was denied. We could have used the extra sleep after having that party keep us awake the night before.

Will definitely be back! Stayed six days. Room was nice and modern. Small kitchen was perfect for making breakfast and lunch. Staff were friendly and attentive to needs.

Small fixes… Shower needs a shelf.
Seemed a bit short staffed. Trashes around property were full, need a couple more pool umbrellas and didn't have towels(pool)often. But when I asked, I was given. Pool chairs, tables, and couches need to be washed down in the AM due to excessive bird poop. Housekeeping staff was working hard(two ladies)! But the room could use a good mopping. Lots of idle time for some staff. They should pitch-in and complete the smaller property cleaning to maintain standards.

We had an excellent stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Everyone was friendly, professional, and always willing to help.

The location was one of the best parts of our stay. It was conveniently located near restaurants, shopping, and local attractions, making it easy to get everywhere we wanted to go without spending a lot of time driving.

Our room was spacious, quiet, and very comfortable, which made it easy to relax after a busy day. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great hotel in a fantastic location!

I was so pleased with this stay. The rooms are newly renovated and they did an excellent job on design. Bathroom was great size and the bed comfortable. Everything from the lobby staff to the cleaning staff were awesome. This was a very clean hotel all the way through. Would 100% stay here again

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at The Ambros. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. We especially loved having the double sinks and large counter space for getting ready. Also, the shower was so spa like and felt amazing after a day in the sun. The pool area was clean, and we loved the piped in music while sunning in the lounge chairs and swimming in the pool. Another bonus was having a few boogie boards available for the guests. My kids had so much fun using them in the ocean. The view was amazing, and it was so nice being able to step out onto the beach a few feet away. Parking was easy. I could go on and on. We loved our stay and would recommend The Ambros to anyone wanting to stay on the beach.

Great stay! Right on the beach, my room was nice and well kept. There’s an nespresso machine in the room. And a few other little gadgets that were handy the fridge has a freezer attached to it so that was nice. Staff was super helpful and the pool was cute. Would definitely recommend recommended. Great hotel! Have stayed there for a week in 25' and 26'. No frills but it's clean, has a great pool, oceanfront with dedicated access. No breakfast but it's within walking distance of a couple restaurants. Great place and plan to return again next year! Marina, the GM, is also wonderfully friendly, as we're all the staff.

Location was great, parking was easy, love the kitchenette in the room and decor style. Very cute beach front cafe by the pool where I had a very yummy Greek yogurt bowl. The room was a little less comfortable than I prefer. The shower would leak onto the bathroom floor, the sink water came out orange initially at times, and the linens on the bed were rough.

We had a corner room with a great oven view. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We didn’t use the kitchenette but it would be handy for a longer stay. The Counter was great for drinks by the pool. The staff was very friendly. The hotel property was well kept. Would definitely stay again.

No coffee in the rooms only espresso coffee. The bed was terrible for the price of the room. It is not worth it. I would never stay there again plus the refrigerator was broken so they had to go into another room to get a refrigerator. The only thing that was good about it was you were on the beach would not recommend this place to anyone.

Rooms are nicely updated and fancy upgrades but misses the mark of practical, especially with a family of kids. The shower just has a half glass fixed wall and no door. It is all open and water from the shower gets on the floors. Super nice looking but not practical. No one else can use the bathroom while showering.

Not much staffing but the ones I spoke to were polite and friendly.
Our room bathroom was recently redone which was really nice. However, no soap or shampoo in the bottles.
Our room floor was gross. Very dirty.
One of our beds had a bunch of sunflower seeds under the covers when we got into bed. Yuck.

We happen to have a room that you could see the ocean and the rooms are very spacious with a microwave a fridge a little two top oven, which we wouldn’t use but the fridge in the microwave are very handy. This is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel and I really enjoy it. Good location and a nice spot.

Julio with those eyes! Looked out for us as promised by allowing us to check our bags prior to check in. We were able to go out and enjoy Daytona first! When we returned Daniel with those eyes checked us in and did as Julio instructed which was to get us as close to the beach as possible. Marie/Maria let us know we had options and didnt just stick us where we wouldnt want to be simply because it was ready. She let us know that if we waited 15 short minutes, we’d be by the beach! Thank you and we will be returning. By the way, the room was five stars and we slept like babies

Partial ocean view, very clean. Great location. Friendly staff. Room advertised as two queens but beds feel much smaller than a traditional queen bed. Air conditioning not efficient. Weather was low of 66 high of 78. First night set to 67 and never got below 76 in the room. Called the desk twice and they did unlock the thermostat to allow the setting to be lowered to 61 but even at that setting by the morning room still only 74. Grateful it wasn’t hotter outside or the air conditioner would have struggled even more to keep up with the temperature.

This hotel is such a gem. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and fresh with the most comfy bed and pillows! Ocean not really visable from room but right out from corner of building. Good location with pool and beach easily available on ocean side of property so dont have to lug beach stuff very much. Do you like dirty floors, fly covered walls, hair and make up marked pillows and sheets that isnt yours in the bed, sludge plugged shower, a tv with 6 channels, a room phone that doesnt work and a staff that doesnt give a damn? It was clean, the staff was friendly, great view. It was slightly different from the room I booked based on Expedia’s description of a corner room beach view king bed with sofa bed. The room assigned was a corner room right above the office with according to them a “partial ocean view” however I asked the guy at the front desk (Daniel) if he could do anything and he got me a corner room ocean view with a king bed. No sofa bed in our room but it was just me and a friend so we just shared. It was too cold to swim for us otherwise I would have liked beach towels but it’s possible they were available but we didn’t ask.

Young man at the desk seemed a bit off, asked name several times, didn't have key ready for room, had to run to the room to make sure it was cleaned, we had the beach view suite so we were hopeful it would be perfect, view was nice pool area was well kept, having the kitchen was a nice option for our 2 day stay. Would definitely stay again! Hotel room decor was well designed. Had everything you could need as a traveler including cooktop, coffee maker, dish washer and microwave! The property owners clearly cared about renovating this place; our stay was beautiful. Only drawback (which property cannot control) are loud neighbors. Each room’s door faces outside and it can become loud in the morning with inconsiderate, noisy talking guests. Also, the cleaners need to sweep better. I will be returning for another trip.

Problem with the room I paid for in the app and the one they first gave us. The answer was that the app didn't have the correct information about the hotel. Finally, after waiting for the manager's answer and creating a claim with Expedia, they gave us a one-bedroom with an ocean view, but this one didn't have a sofa, just one bed. Nice hotel, but really bad communication between the room we paid for and the one they gave us.
