It’s a dive, but affordable. I think the owner thought we were crazy. One of the kids drew a dragon with chalk on the sidewalk and the owner freaked out. I poured water over it and it was gone.

We have stayed at probably 50% of hotels /motels in Daytona. Only because some of them we frequent. If your bougie go spend that money somewhere else. But if you can walk a mile or so and respect value then this is a good spot. Yea it's across the street from beach but it's all open and it's a short walk to beach access where there isn't a lot of ppl. Don't spend crazy money on a hotel, spend your money where it counts.....

Woke up with bite welts covering both arms. Found and photographed two insects on the sheets as well as blood stains on the lamp shade and cigarette burns in the sheets.

I requested a refund through Expedia the property claimed no record of complaints despite my photos. Expedia offered $25 compensation for a $147 stay.

At check in when she asked me if i wanted a king or 2 double beds for myself, my husband, and 2 year old my exact words were, it doesn't matter as long as the ac works (because i read some reviews about the ac not working). Well the ac didnt work lol. I told her husband and he went and felt it and told us it wasnt cold enough for us as if it were blowing cold but we just didnt think it was blowing cold when it indeed was blowing room temp air. It was cooler outside than in the room but the windows were solid slabs of plexiglass that dont open so we couldn't open the windows. With that being said after a little back and forth he moved us a couple doors down where the ac worked gloriously and gave us a fan just in case it didnt cool eventually. So all was good with us after that. The property is like a old motel so if you're hoity toity and expect the Hilton dont go here, but if you're not fancy, dont mind a crack head or 2 and just want somewhere to lay your head by the beach it's decent.. The pool wasnt horrible, it had dirt in it but nothing disgusting. For the price we paid it was well worth it after the situation with the ac was addressed. Id stay again if i could get the same room the switched me to lol..im sure there are other decent rooms though because there were plenty people there during spring break

I definitely overpaid Expedia/motel for the room
Definitely not worth it’
I m paying now Marriott much more comfortable hotel $153/night
I think considering my fidelity with Expedia I should be considered a credit of what I paid over 135$ /night of the published price outside the hotel to be seen!
Pictures of the hotel are made to show what the hotel is not!
Unless you need something urgent, this is a trap!
Expedia should not deal with such terrible accommodation
I suggest cancelling the contract with them!!!

This is the worst hotel we've ever stayed in.
New floors are never cleaned, no curtains to block the bathroom window when I undress. I was expecting to be in the non-smoking room. I smelt a disgusting cigarette scent the minute I walked in. Ever heard of an air freshener? Good thing I don't smoke. The microwave is rusted and dangerous, and everything in this room is covered in stains and dirt. Bed covers are ripped and the pillows are nasty. The table is covered in burnt marks. Bugs are scattering in a hiding spot. GROSS! Very filthy hotel. They will not keep the rooms clean and replace the electronics and appliances. They will charge you an extra $20 the minute you check-in. They should be out of business for poor cleaning and replacement service. I doubt they will ever remodel their property. My husband and I will never book this hotel again!

We booked a nonsmoking room, when we entered our room it had obviously been smoked in previously. We got another room, the smell was not as bad but still had been smoked in. Some of the rooms doors had non-smoking signs on them but the rooms we entered did not have those... When we inquired about the smoke, the service seemed quite annoyed and tried to convince us that the rooms were non-smoking. For a room large enough to house 4 guest, there were only 2 towels that were very old and thin. There was no soap or shampoo in the shower. The pool was nice and cool (late June) and the water was clean. However, there was quite ab it of sand build-up on the bottom, but its next to the beach.

Staff on property were nice enough, but the rooms themselves were severely lacking. Stain that I’m fairly certain was blood on the curtain, burn holes in the covers and mattresses, and the roach infestation was insane. I had to go out and purchase bug spray, and cleaning supplies to be able to feel semi comfortably in the space. Scared the whole time to leave any snacks or drinks out knowing it would attract the roaches that came from under the bed frame and from behind the fridge and microwave.

We only stayed there because the previous hotel accommodations I had were canceled by the property due to “seasonal renovations” 2 weeks before we were to arrive, and there were no other available hotels or motels in the area for the dates I needed. I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone with a roach phobia.

5. Strange people at the neighbor room tried to intimidate me because I parked in the wrong spot. By the way, the room had no number identification at the door, then I was confused about where to park.
