Got to the hotel and there was already commotion from part of our large group visiting for Jeep Beach. The rooms were dirty, smelly, beds were done but obviously sheets had not been changed from previous guests. Pillows were dirty and still had head imprints and gel like residue. Carpets and room were musky almost mold smelling. There were cigarettes burns and a very suspicious spot on the sofa that looks like body fluid. I let the front desk know and they had me and a few other friends going from room to room so we could choose an \" upgraded clean room\" but they were all in the same condition. I ended up not staying at that hotel and now i need to fight for a refund as it was all paid in full, in advance months before. The hotel is in need of major remodeling or at least major cleaning. Avoid it at all cost. It's not even in the budget side so why pay resort money for roach motel stay.

Property has a Wonderful Ocean View in every room from what I could see. Reason for the 3 star review is due to the worn condition of the hotel. Rust was evident in the room and all visible metal on site. Kitchen has much older appliances and the stove was literally filthy with the bottom drawer sealed shut with grease. Staff were extremely curt and sad as well staffing was very minimal. I loved the vibe and the outdoor pool was awesome but not heated. Beach access was great. If I were the owner of the property a renovation would make this a great long term stay resort.

The property had none of the amenities mentioned! The heated pool was barely above cold, they don’t have a restaurant and no hot tub. Everything was under construction and people slammed doors and kids screaming all night long! Like tantrum screaming not playing. The front desk didn’t do anything! I would never in my life stay there again!

The rooms were not clean! We had to go into another room because they only have one cleaning lady that’s elderly, and she just couldn’t keep up and she doesn’t clean the rooms or change the beds as they’re supposed to be! They finally get done what they need to get done but this is a very old old hotel that used to be wonderful to stay at but now they’re just letting it go downhill fast

The room was honestly disgusting. There was bugs inside of the cup glasses. The silverware looked as if they had never been washed and just thrown into the things. The bathroom was disgusting. The floors were dirty. couldn’t even walk on it without shoes. I was highly disappointed. The sofa looked as if it was 100 years old with mildew stains I do not recommend this property at all

The view of the beach and Ocean from our balcony was breathtaking. Some of the staff was amazing. The room was great. The bed was terrible but ok enough to sleep on. Definitely needs a bed upgrade. Make sure you bring toilet paper and stuff like sponge and dish soap.
All in all we had an amazing trip.

Considering the price,uder 300 a night oceanfront, with a gigantic pool during daytona bike week, with tons of bike parking I'd give it 3 stars.

Room was dirty.trash under the bed and ceiling fan was full of dust. I killed 2 cockroaches the first night there and had to fix leaking toilet. I did let receptionist know.
It would have been nice to also have a couple of bigger bath towels in the room, to take showers.

The location was perfect, on the beach with private beach access. The indoor pool and outdoor pool was also nice, they had a little shop on site to buy goggles, towels, etc. which was nice. The room was not the cleanest, we couldn’t use the pull out sofa because it was dirty. The patio door was slightly open when we got there, turns out the door barely opened and shut. My husband finally got it to close on the last day there. The staff was nice, it just needs some work on the rooms.

Thats ok to be old as it was but duty its not good. We found duty pillowcases and the flor has hairs all over the place. No breakfast. The wall needs to be painted. The furniture needs to be replaced. The mattress its terribly, very soft, very old. We didn't sleep well.

The first front desk person we encountered was rude and unwilling to help, however, the second one was amazing and accommodating to our needs. The view from ocean front rooms is very nice, but the entire place is very run down and needs updating. Kitchenette is bare with not enough items to cook with. We had one pan, no disk soap, nothing in the bathroom either, towels are very old. Parking wa plentiful so that was nice. Our balcony had 2 high top chairs that were probably 40 years old and the matrass was old and lumpy. Overall, I would not stay here again for the price we paid.

Floor was wet when we arrived and my daughter fell room was hot so I turned control to cool then went to dinner….got back and room was even hotter than before….was told by front desk that HOA group wouldn’t turn the cool on….i went to a different hotel. Ask for a refund and was told I’d have to come back in the morning to talk with the manager…went back the next morning and the ladies working the front desk we wonderful and approved the refund

The roomed seemed clean. There were fresh towels and the beds were made. The room itself left a lot to be desired. The bathroom door did not close. The walls were soft and peeling. The patio chairs were filthy. There was no regular sitting chair. I don't know if there was a TV or if it worked. There were no outlets available by the beds so my husband couldn't use his CPAP. No hangers and no dirty clothes bag. View was great. People were very nice.

The location was excellent and the view was beautiful. Unfortunately, the room itself was very outdated and not clean. We had to request clean towels every day, and despite asking multiple times, we were unable to get an extra bed. The two beds provided were very small, which made our stay uncomfortable.

The indoor pool was out of service when we arrived. Although we noticed it appeared to be fixed two days later, the access code we were given did not work. Staff never came to open it for us, and when we called the front desk, the receptionist was not even aware that the pool had been repaired.

Overall, the front desk staff was unfriendly and not willing to help with our questions or requests. While the location and free parking were definite positives, we would not choose to stay here again.

Additionally, our friends were staying at the same property, and their suite was not available upon arrival, even though it had been booked back in August for a December stay. We were able to keep some of their food in our fridge and they had to come each night to use our oven. The reason we booked the suites was to have kitchen for our 5 day stay. At least they were compensated for part of their stay.

We saw this on Expedia and booked for two weeks. Our room had a kitchenette and balcony overlooking the ocean.
The Hawaiian Inn was a great stay for the price - we had a wonderful view, heated pool, regular pool, balcony, kitchenette, laundry, etc.
We enjoyed it so much that we booked a third week!

We are repeat customers of Hawaiian Inn and it never disappoints which is why we continue booking here. The direct access to the beach is spot on, tiki bar is always a good time. They are usually able to accommodate my floor request and parking is plentifu! The bar staff does a great job, they are always fun to talk to!

If you’re going to do hotel renovations, while you have paying customers painting, the floors, enclosing of elevators, should be done on a third shift basis, not to interrupt your guests who have paid a lot of money to be yelled at by your employees of where not to walk being a handicap person You would’ve thought your staff would offer to help instead of yelling at your paying customers your property potential but your advertisements are very deceiving. I had friends in from out of town who came to visit Daytona Beach for the first time a very disappointing stay the only thing good about it was a view.

We loved the view. But we couldn’t enjoy our balcony or the pool because of people smoking weed. That’s all you could smell. Our room really needed to be updated. The nicest part was the pool and the views you had but I don’t understand why people allow this to go on. The parking lot was very dark. And to have so many rules and such a big deposit on the room it needs to be updated.

We were under the impression that we would have trailer parking there and they had changed it and not letting anybody know during bike week. So we had to park our trailer about 5 miles away and at a cost of $120.
The room that they first gave us had standing water in the showers and in the sink in the little kitchen head area. The staff did move us to a different room. It was a lot better. Other than a dead roach in the bedroom. The tiki bar was fantastic. The staff was really friendly.

Our 1 bedroom on the fifth floor was super clean .
The view was stunning .
The indoor pool was not opened and no time was given on when .
Outdoor pool was clean as was the tiki bar area which had good drinks and food .
Each unit is privately owned and maintained . Ours had limited supplies , 4 plates 4 mugs , 4 glasses , 4 forks ect.
Great place for the price . enjoy !

Thought there was sleeping arrangements for 7 people. There was a queen bed, double bed, day bed with trundle and stained sheets. and disgusting brown couch with stains all over. Bed sheets were pilled and not comfortable. Had 2 nights stay and left after 1st night. View was obstructed by indoor pool. I would never go or recommend this place.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Pool and tiki bar were enjoyable. Since rooms are privately owned it’s up to owners what’s in the room. My room was lacking dishes and much to cook a meal with. There was a coffee maker but no filters. I did really appreciate that they had a dehumidifier in the room.

Everything was better than I expected. First place I have ever stayed that the pictures turned out to be exactly how it really looked. The bar by the pool area was great. The view from the room was excellent. The staff were very friendly and very polite. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was the dishes were all dirty and there was no dishwashing detergent in the room to clean them with. I would definitely stay here again. It was definitely worth the stay for the price.

Been staying here since the 90's visiting my family that lives in the area. The outdoor pool area has been updated since the hurricane went through a few years ago. However, the heated pool isn’t heated anymore.The hotel itself is showing it's age and needs some updating. My biggest complaint would be the suppossed \"HOA\" owned parking lot. My son had his car literally on a tow truck coming back from lunch. He had to pay the guy $70 to keep from having it towed. No one told us we needed to have an extra parking pass. Seems kind of ridiculous since it was a Thursday and noone is fighting for parking spots. Kind of a racket. The tow truck driver conveniently only takes cash. Stayed here about 30 times. Probably going to look for another place to come visit after this.
