Worst stay ever

This property was rebook by hotels.com after original booking was cancelled by the original property. It was not friendly, the pictures of the website did not look like the room we got at all! It was dirty and the bed mattress felt like it was old from the 90’s. I will not use Hotels.com again.

No towels i had to buy sheets and a blanket because they were so stained. And they're wasn't a blanket no hot water manager very rude i cut my stay a day short and i was refused money back for early checkout

Overhead light inop. Only 1 single lamp had 1 dim bulb in it. Thin topsheet an very thin cover were what sufficed for bedclothes in 43 degree night. .

I should have checked the room before paying. The manager had to kill all the fly's with a bug spray. The bathtub and toilet did not drain. Had to fill the gap above the door with paper towels.

The motel is old and dated but it was acceptable for our two night stay during bike week. Could definitely use updating but then I'm sure the cost to stay would rise. Beds were comfortable, sheets soft with a mattress cover.,but blanket was old school motel. Still acceptable but If they had nice fluffy comforters, that would have been amazing!! Water pressure in shower was great. I wasn't expecting that. The room had a funky smell at first, kind of like an old high school cleaned with pine sol. I either got used to it or it faded over two days. They brought fresh towels daily which was great. Very nice lady checked us in. The only downfall is we had two cars but could only park one of them on premises. We had to find a place to park the second car. Overall it wasn't bad and we would stay again for the affordable price during bike week. It was convenient to Main St and quiet at night.

So, if your expecting the Ritz, this not the place for you. The place has easy access to Daytona and close to the strip. The rooms are what you would aspect for a cheap motel. The beds are comfortable and the TV works. Other then that, it’s a place for you to rest your head safely after a night on the town. The owners live on the property and are available when needed.

The service was great. The building is older and in need of maintenance. Had a roach in our room on the tv when we arrived, yes we killed it. It faces the road so it’s incredibly noisy, especially being bike week. The parking lot is tiny and would be fine for just bikes or compact cars.

It was very dirty. We had to buy sheets and pillows to stay there because there was dirt and what what looked like un washed stains in the bed. We had to clean the sink and toilet. Neither were even close to looking like they were cleaned.

Realize what you are booking and why you are booking it. We needed a last minute hotel for the Daytona 500. I booked and expected a low rated hotel so I brought our own linen and immediately changed it once we arrived. Linen was stained and room had bugs (roaches).The property was probably built in the 1940s and has not had any upgrades nor minimal and only necessary upkeep. It was just a place to sleep. The front desk was pleasant but used handwritten ledgers for bookkeeping and even made a mistake in overcharging accidentally using another customer's rate. So be alert. He did reimburse me in cash the difference once I identified the error. It is directly across from the beach and has access. So if all you need is a place to sleep realize that before you book. Rates are probably lower than during an event like the Daytona 500.

Was looking for a good rate and selected this motel. The photos on the website were grossly misleading. Sheets seemed clean but had visible stains. Bathrooms were clean but the entire facility was a zero. Will not stay here again.

Older place, expect heavily used rooms.

Staff was very nice. Room was clean. AC would not cool the room. Very old building. Beach foot-access right across the street a plus. Some shady people sitting outside rooms from sunup to sundown (live there?). Due to the other tenants the place had a “you better lock everything down before you leave your stuff behind” feel to it.
I think the owner does the best that can be done given the circumstances.

The manager allowed us to check in early so that was nice. After that not so good. Room was VERY worn. I didn't expect much, but for $130 plus I expected a bit more. The big issue that worried my guest was that there was no lock on the bathroom window so anyone under 300 pounds could come right on in.
Location was excellent by beach. But, c'mon, guests must BUY ice from manager!

The bed was absolutely awful. Pillows were hard as a rock. The carpet was badly stained. The fridge didn't even keep our things cold. The a/c unit has to be turned way down to even keep it cool in the room. The door is rough to turn with key plus the guy at front desk tried to charge me $5 for the key (told him I did not have $5 cash and he said well that's ok but if you lose the key we will charge you). There was no where to find the Wi-Fi password.

this place was so bad that I hope no one ever has to experience it. The place is beyond outdated. Our room had cracks in the window and there was a piece even being held up by tape. The window locks didn’t work as well. The beds were nasty and full of stains and burn holes, the place was literally falling apart. I honestly don’t know how this place hasn’t been shut down yet because it is completely run down and unsafe. I payed way too much for this dump, extremely disappointed.

No frills or extras! had to ask for water glasses and shampoo. Ice is not free! had to buy it from the office! Room was clean but furnishings were very old and used. Although it has a good location, it is not worth the cost of the room.

Everything is old and tired. The door wouldn't lock everytime. The beds had pieces of plywood between the box springs and mattress . The toilet leaked in the floor with every flush. Planning your shower timing is critical, if you want hot water. However I would like to end with ,the Manager brought us blankets without asking. The house keeper was always smiling,pleasant and accommodating. The beach is across the A1A with public access.

We booked late for the Daytona 500. This was available at an affordable rate. It was surprisingly nice. Everything was clean, tile floors so no nasty carpet smells, bathroom was shining----beautiful pink tile, toilet, sink, and tub took me back to the wonderful trips to Florida in the old days. The doors still opened with a key! Cable and WiFi were wonderful. The bed was a bit firm for my taste, but it was clean. It is across the street from the beach, but there is nothing built to obstruct the view of the ocean. Take extension cords, very few outlets!

Good for the money.... We we're there for Biketober fest and rates are triple for special events so we had to settle for this. But overall not bad. Fairly clean and no bugs. Window unit is slightly undersized, bathroom could use updating and an exhaust fan
