The pictures definitely do not reflect how old the building is. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They gave another family a key to our room and helped get that corrected. Our key didn’t work after that when I asked about it, she apologized and took responsibility
And fixed our key
The chain lock did not work the floors had stains in the carpet and the door for the bathroom stuck and was horrible hard to open. The tv appears f have been left on the same Channel because it has the image burned on the screen. The elevator was a scary but did work. The door to our rooms had one inch gap at the top, so you could see light through it all the toe. It appears that every room had the same thing.
After all of this, and even so, I would stay there again. The staff was friendly and the mini fridge was cold. And it was gated access to the beach. Simple parking as if they ran out of spaces, they had an overflow lot directly across the street.
Also when we got there, we requested an early check in, because we got to town around 10:00 that morning. They were able to accommodate us as we were able to check in by 12:00.
Again, Thank you to your staff. They were friendly Knowledgeable and helpful. I would choose to stay there’s just based on the staff, over a newer hotel with bad staff. Customer service is key. Thank you!!

Mark, the individual at the front desk, was amazing. Unfortunately that that’s where the good part stopped. There was mold in my room, along with the strongest odor of some kind of cleaning product. The mold was on the ceiling where there was bubbling and peeling paint. No doubt from the amount of moisture which can be expected by the ocean. The door did not shut tight, but there was a chain to help secure it. I stayed for an hour and ended up having to leave due to the smell and the mold. I am very allergic and am still congested this morning. Left and found a different hotel.

If you don’t mind a soaking wet floor and bugs in your room - then this is the place for you! Drunk teenagers running through the hotel yelling and banging on doors at all hours and staff that did not care or address any concerns. Was told to email the manager - did so 4 days ago and still have not gotten a response. I’ve stayed in some bad hotels - this one takes the cake.

The room was okay, it comfortably slept 5 people. There were some people who looked like they could've been homeless wandering by our door a bit, but nothing too crazy. The staff was very kind and helpful, and their coffee was shockingly good. The room was very clean, with recently cleaned carpets and comfortable beds. A great budget place to stay on vacation if you can handle a lower budget area and a few crazies.

I had booked a non smoking room. Upon arrival it clearly was a smoking room because of the strong smell and the cigarette burns on the top blankets. It was the Daytona 500 weekend so they didn’t have another room to give us but after we discovered the sink didn’t work we couldn’t stay there. After multiple conservations with the desk and Expedia, I finally did get a refund but lost out completely on the weekend and had to go home as there were no other hotel availability in the area. The reviews were good on Expedia so not sure what went wrong. My expectations were low to begin with being Daytona and on the beach-but this was really bad especially for what they charged for that weekend.

Location was really good but anyone can park there and they do nothing about it. I asked them where is the overflow parking lot 1 person said the garage and the other person said right across the street where 3 homeless people were sleeping. So I walked the parking lot and took pics of 5 cars w/ no parking pass. They said maybe they forgot to put it up. I said well the sign says they’ll get towed. He said they can’t do it. I said I’ll call the tow truck and when they hook up to the car, we will know if they have a pass or not. Long story short, they fixed it and got me a parking spot pretty close to my room. I have no issues walking from the garage if every car has a parking pass.

The next morning, the guy doesn’t speak to me and was very rude. The lady on the inside was still nice and courteous.

Requested early check in and arrived at 2:51pm for a 3:00 check in . Was informed by reception would have to wait as someone else was coming on shift at 3:00 pm. Lobby and-breakfast area very small and not clean. Many street people around this area. The room we were given had blood stains all over the carpet and had a door that did not lock . Very dirty room and unsafe as there was no lock . Left and rebooked another hotel . We are still hoping to get a refund. Save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere!

They ran out of pancake mix at 8:30 am
Went in at 10 am and asked if they had more mix. They said yes and that we could make one!
My friends went in to make one and they said breakfast was over / was ignorant!
No phone, no hair dryer.

Staff was fine! For $1700.0 for 3 nights was right out ridiculous. First room had blood all over the comforter, curtains, bathroom door and the lamp shade had blood and mold (I have pictures) the room smelt so bad it was unbearable. The 2nd room was cleaner but rooms are very run down. No bolts on the door, chain was just hanging with no lock. Middle of night was woken up to someone jiggling my door knob. Did not feel safe here at all. I understand raising prices due to the Daytona 500 race but for over $500.00 a night was just uncalled for especially when the rooms are old and smelly. Was afraid to lean on the balcony railing because it moved and was all rusted. Went for a walk on the beach and when I returned there was homeless men sleeping up against where the entrance was to the hotel. Made coffee in the room and the creamers were so old it just broke apart in pieces because it was so hard. It would be bearable if the price wasn't over $500.00 a night. Just can't believe we paid that for what we got.

Upon checking staff was very kind and helpful. That was the most positive thing I can say about the motel. It was very rundown, poor condition door latch broken to lock door, holes under balcony door had to plug the hole with plastic bag, my sons balcony door actually fell off so he had to put door pins back in to close door, very Very dirty carpet and floor very tore up and stains Didn’t take my socks off to walk throught room, my little son wanted to sleep in rental car rather then in the room, We didnt put anything luggage on the floor due to condition, The sheets were clean though, the pool wasn’t able to be used due to a water safety and cleaning issue for our stay, did have a good view of the beach though. complementary breakfast was lacking we did not use due to motel cleanliness. Coffee machine was a powdered water machine in front lobby/desk. Overall would advise anyone to stay anywhere else it is in bad shape. The online pictures did not show what poor shape the motel had in store for us, we had booked these rooms months in advance so all hotels near the area were booked and or were very high priced as in 500 a night, I just hope to let people know this motel is in very bad shape! It was a big bummer for our family trip.

The light in the room did not work only one little lamp for light. The hotel is overall dirty and dingy. Biggest issue for me was the very weak water pressure. The shower head was cheap and very poor quality. Water poured out the tub spout but the shower end came out like a trickle. The quality of workmanship was poor. You could tell they really did not care. No TV guide or wifi was provided either. Hard to find much about it that would qualify as \"Quality\" other than the name.

First off . . . the door to my room wouldn't close. Had to practically slam it shut before the dead bold would work,
2) There were no sign to let staff know it wasn't ready to clean, thus they knocked on the door ALL the time!!
3) The power in the bathroom didn't work.
4) No ventilation in the bathroom. No fan, steamy bathroom all the time.
5) No furniture (chairs, couch) to sit on. Had to sit on the beds.
6) Speaking of furniture, the desk chair was very old. Wouldn't roll properly and was cracked.
7) Breakfast was a joke. Not worth eating.

Overall, the business was extremely run down and very noisy. 2 out of 5 starts is pushing it for me.

This \"hotel\" is so run down it is sad. I would rate it a half star if possible. The toilet in our room was attached to the floor on a slant so bad that the water in the bowl was askew. The shower head almost came off the wall when I tried to adjust it. That was while I was waiting almost 5 minutes for warm water. The furniture looks like it came from the thrift store, most of it obviously damaged, and yet they take a $100 damage deposit from you when you check in. Laughable. $118 for this room. Ridiculous. This place should be condemned. Will NOT stay again.

This hotel/motel needs to be closed. From wood rot on the bathroom door, to the smell of old carpet to no phone in the room no internet and mold in the coffee maker and a visit from a from a roach. The hotel looks like it hasn’t been updated since the 90s. The best thing about the room was the ocean view. Very disappointed!

We were upgraded to an oceanfront room. The room was comfortable and pretty decent.

Access to the beach was easy.

There was no water in the outdoor foot washing stations. Looks like the water had been turned off. So had to go back int the room with sandy feet.

The breakfast was free, but very average. There were very few options.

If you are looking for a \"budget\" hotel right by the sea, this is the option. It needs some remodeling, especially on the first floor and the pool area, and the elevator definitely requires it. But our room was very clean and the service was very good. Special mention to Gina at the front desk!! Excellent! Every request was handled efficiently and quickly. Thank you, Gina, we will come back.

Condition of the hotel was poor overall. Despite rooms being non-smoking reeked of smoke (both cigarette and marijuana) and linens had cigarette burns in them. Pool was closed 2 of the 4 days we stayed. Solicitors are wedging advertisements in your door at all hours (after 10pm). Another member in our party checked into their room at this hotel on the same day and encountered roaches as soon as they entered their room, and their room was overall dirty and disgusting.

This is not a property to vacation for longer than a couple of hours. We were very disappointed about the room and how compact it was to have multiple beds. If you are looking for something like Destin...this is not the place. The pics of the hotel are also very deceiving. Customer service around the property was subpar ie near restuarnts. Pictures do not match the condition of the property. Everything needs work. Rusty areas, paint falling off railings, walls,trim. Bottom of doors warped and water damaged. where to start.. the fridge in my room wasn’t getting cold, had to ask for maintenance took two days to get one. the pool is not clean. the sink water gets hot to where you cannot wash your hands. room service is not consistent along with that i had to ask everyday for room service. the property says not smoking but people were smoking while on the property. the breakfast was the bare minimum. and overall this property is no good, more of a motel then a hotel with a ocean view. can’t see the ocean unless on the third floor.. and it’s only three floors. another thing, there were nats in the room and hallway.
