From the minute we walked into the lobby, we were impressed with the decor and fresh aroma. We especially appreciated the full kitchen with the essentials for cooking, eating and the soap for washing dishes. We rented an oceanview room and although other areas of the hotel have been updated, it looks like the room we stayed in is yet to receive a facelift. All in all, the room was well situated with generous seating, comfortable beds, and of an ample size; the onsite pool and beach steps away were a big plus. Watching the sun rise over the ocean along with other earlybirds was most special. We'll be back and this time, for an oceanside room!

Ive stayed here many times over the years with no problems. The property is nice and the rooms are not the Ritz but comfortable and clean! However during this stay of 3 nights… every night I went to the kitchen(full kitchen) and turned the lights on ROACHES EVERYWHERE!!! small/med size… all over packages.. not food left out or uncovered but just over packaged food or items .. whatever was just on the counter and everything was wrapped up but they were still there. IM SO DISAPPOINTED in this roach problem.

The place had a weird smell to it and a bunch of dead gnats on the ceiling of the room. The staff was difficult to deal with and they made multiple charges to my card days after leaving. I canceled my stay after being there less then 4 hours because of my over all experience. I regret choosing this location and i have called them many times about the charges yet more charges are showing up on my card. I ended up choosing another resort which exceeded my expectations and made up for this stressful experience.

Didn’t particularly care for the check in. The lady at the desk told us since their check in was at 4 and we were there early if we wanted to pay 50.00 we could check in early. If your room is clean then why not let people in early. There was a charge for parking that the hotel.com didn’t pick up so that was charged extra when we checked in. Most of the staff was nice but this one person needs to learn some customer service.we won’t be back.

Was greeted by front desk staff upon arrival. Check in there is at 4pm. I arrived at 3pm...no issues. One of the few hotels I've stayed at where there was no weed smell on the property. The rooms are modern and updated. The bathroom could stand a update but functional . Most every worker there was very friendly. Housekeeping ladies was excellent. Will stay there again

Our stay at the Nautilus Inn in Daytona Beach was absolutely amazing, as always! This is hands down our favorite place to stay when we visit Daytona, and it never disappoints.

The entire property was spotless and very well maintained. Our oceanfront room with a private balcony was incredibly clean and had the most beautiful beach views. There is nothing better than sitting on the balcony, listening to the waves, and watching the sunrise over the ocean. The room was spacious and had a full kitchen, which made our stay even more convenient and comfortable.

The amenities here are wonderful! They have a beautiful outdoor pool, a relaxing hot tub, beach chair rentals, and a nice coffee bar in the mornings. We also loved having the marketplace in the lobby for snacks, drinks, and anything we may have forgotten to bring.

What truly makes the Nautilus Inn special is the staff. Every single staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Their hospitality keeps us coming back year after year.

If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and relaxing oceanfront getaway in Daytona Beach, we highly recommend the Nautilus Inn. We absolutely love this place and can’t wait to come back again!

Loved the place and the balcony. Front desk people were awesome. There was 1 lady who was exceptional but I didn't get her name. Need to k cup coffee makers. Only thing I really disliked this time (we've stayed a few years ago) was having to pay for parking!! Ridiculous. If we had extra cars i could see to pay for extras but we're already paying good money to stay there, we shouldn't have to pay to park. I won't be back for that reason.

The only complaints are they could have a baking sheet for the oven, the faucet for the tub was broke lucky my husband had his leathermen so we made it work, the slider to the door on the balcony was like pulling a 50lb weight and the elevators are slow. Other than that the view was lovely from the balcony, ease access to the beach, the pool area was nice the hotel is clean and staff was friendly. We plan to come back. Loved it!!

The room was only “cleaned” once during my stay, which my stay was a week. There were ants behind the bed from old food no one cleaned up, I told the staff and nothing was done. There were fresh blood stains on both of my beds. The owner came outside screaming at me that it is a no smoke facility, which I don’t even smoke. She did not introduce herself, just started screaming. My children were crying wondering why I random lady is yelling when we did nothing wrong. That’s no way to speak to guest, especially if your the OWNER. The pool closes early, and it is not kid friendly at all. I paid for a beach front room and got partial beach view, but since I was on a low floor all I seen was part beach and mostly the motel next to us.

I have stayed at this property many times and it never disappoints. The beach access is what I appreciate the most. Being able to stay in a hotel and walk directly to the beach less than 2 to 3 minutes time is the ultimate convenience for me. They have a spray section to remove all sand from yourself and your chairs, boogie boards, etc. The staff is always friendly. Great place for a great price. My only 95 stars would be the cleanliness of the bathroom. It left a little to be desired. It also seemed like they renovated the room, but did not upgrade the bathrooms which I found interesting. But I look forward to going back there again.

We got a partial beach view and it was great. I loved being right on the beach! There were a lot of unsupervised kids at the pool that were getting rowdy and were running around slightly startling my kid. The room was good, it was a little “humid” in there but it is to be expected as you’re right on the water. The staff did give my husband a hard time trying to reset his room key - you have to keep the key away from your phone or else it would erase - but when I checked in they didn’t even ask me who was in the room. I was photographing a wedding or else I would have called them to let my husband in the room. The lady according to my husband was very rude and I get it, safety is important, but I know for a fact she saw my husband, kid and I go into our room multiple times. Other than that, the stay was good. Everything was close food wise and even the partial beach view was lovely! Nice big room and it was nice to be able to cook and not have to get take out all the time!

We have been staying at the Nautilus for over 30 years and we have always enjoyed our stays. The rooms are really large and the full kitchens are a welcomed amenity, even though we do not cook on our vacation because the Inn is so close to lots of great places to dine. Our oceanfront room was recently renovated and the view, just beautiful! Everything at the Inn was well maintained and very clean.
The only negative was the front desk staff. When checking in there wasn’t a smile, warm greeting, the guy was on the phone trying to sell a room for the night on an upper floor. When he finally got off the call and did not sell the room, he got my name, gave me a paper to fill out and sign, he rattled off a list of things and said “any questions?” and gave us our keys. I mentioned that I requested an upper floor, he quickly replied “we’re all sold out!” Hmmmm, so why was he trying to sell a room 2 Floors directly above ours?
Rather than confront him with what we heard, we just moved on. He really didn’t care and showed it.
But other than that encounter, we had a wonderful stay and highly recommend.

The lobby, halls and rooms were beautiful and the housekeeping staff were so friendly and helpful. The pool deck was an excellent space to spend time and the oceanfront views from the balcony were amazing. Cons: We checked in at 7pm and the lady at the front desk was probably one of the rudest and unfriendliest people I have come in contact with - being the first impression of your establishment, I would think you would want that person to at least be pleasant. There had been a breakfast the last time we had stayed, but that was no more and unless you wanted to cook a one pan / pot meal, good luck trying to cook in the room. The $10+tax to park each night seemed a little ridiculous - it’s outside in an open parking lot - not a garage. If you are going to charge to park on property (where else would you park??) then there should have at least been a security guard to make sure things were secure (the building next door was very sketchy, rundown, pool deck falling in, pool green with trash in bottom - people that came and went seemed to have just chosen it to squat in). The pool deck, as mentioned, was amazing but the pool itself was dirty with debris and water very cloudy.
The balcony was also wonderful other than water from the balcony above pouring down from, what I assume, the air conditioner.
Other than the building next door, the location is great for peace and quiet- away from the main attractions, but close enough to walk or drive. It was always a wonderful hotel.

The only thing was that was a slight issue was that our balcony door was off track and was extremely difficult to open and close. We managed but it should really be fixed. I mean the pool stayed so nasty and was way to hot, felt like a hot tub instead of a pool, om top of that it took us two days for them to fix our keys for our door and when we booked and paid in full B4 we went, they failed to mention anywhere on their site or in the booking that when you get there you will have to pay for parking at their hotel! EVEN THO U BOOKED TO STAY THERE! they charge you 10.86 a day for parking!!! This place is ridiculous plus they have a fill kitchen but good look using it bc make sure you bring stuff to cook in bc they don't have anything to use!

We enjoy The Nautilus Inn. We've been there many times. Nothing fancy, it's clean and quiet. This trip the smoke detector went off at 02:30. Called the front desk and they said to unplug it and maintenance would fix it in the morning. They never came. Staff is OK. They had rooms available but wouldn't let us check in earlier than 4:00 unless we paid another $50.

Seems like if there are rooms available why not let someone check in earlier than 4:00. Anyway, I'm sure we'll go back but this last trip was a little disappointing.

My husband and I had the king room on the corner of the building with two big windows with views of the ocean and up the beach towards the pier. The pelicans would fly right towards the side window the glide in from of the building which was very nice to watch. The room was very clean and I appreciated how the room was refurbished with more modern touches. The mirror placement was on point. The staff were all kind and helpful with anything we needed like ice for our cooler. The AC worked wonderful. The elevators did break down one night around 7pm but they had 1 working by the following morning. All in all this was a great beach front hotel for the price. We did go during the week in a more off season so that helped with the price as well.

We had an ocean front view suite. The balcony doors were not working. Called front desk to have maintained check door, it wasn’t until after the second call maintenance came and sprayed WD-40 on the door. He could barely open it. He said they had 10 more just like our room that had trouble opening the doors and the company that replaced the doors was having to come back to fix all the doors. He just didn’t know when. He did everything he could do, but he did try. It took my husband and I both trying to open the door together to get it open enough to get out on the balcony. In trying to get the door open I almost cut my toe of. I did tell the male desk clerk that was on duty Sat night. I also had to call the front desk on my own phone because the room phone did not work. We should have been notified that that the Inn was having issues with the balcony doors. It was a lovely stay. We hade an ocean view room. We were able to see sunrise and sunset from there. Room had full kitchen with full size refrigerator. There were table with chairs in the shed if our hallway, we had dinner there while watching sunset. It’s a little too far of a walk to the boardwalk but easy drive.

This place was AMAZING!! No complaints whatsoever! From top to bottom, Nautilus Inn was incredible!!! I can't say enough good things about this place! My son and I just came back from here and it was more than we even expected. The grounds and pool area was so maintained and cleaned. The lobby area was so nice but what my son and I was sooo impressed with was our room. We had a 9th floor oceanfront room and it was simply amazing!! Room was so spacious and so cleaned and the balcony view was priceless. A big shot out to all the cleaning crew/house keeping crew....they work so hard and are dedicated to their work...great job!! And I want to personally thank Miley, the front desk lady. She was simply amazing!! So nice and courteous to us. So friendly and made us feel so welcomed. I've been a retail manager for over 20 years and I know what good customer service is all about and I've got to say that EVERYONE here went far and beyond my expectations. And I've personally been to Daytona Beach many times when I was younger and been fortunate and blessed to travel a lot in my life and I got say that Nautilus Inn here in Daytona Beach was definitely the most impressive I've seen and been at. I strongly suggest this place to ANYONE!! Thanks to EVERYONE here for a wonderful and memorable vacation experience for my son and I...WE HAD A BLAST!! Thank you and God bless

Overall a very pleasant stay. The room was clean, quiet and I felt safe traveling solo. The ocean view was worth it for every sunrise. Only real concern at first was location but once inside I felt very safe and taken care of. A true sanctuary. Notable the shower surround is very clean but visible wear noted...probably from the very clean nature of the shower. We were right off the elevator and even that location was quiet all 5 days I was there. Staff was great! The parking was on-site but also cost $10/day which isn't what was listed on the booking site. Once booked then I got notice of the charge. I didn't mind it bc the parking was close and easy.

We asked to be on a high floor, that they accommodated. Very polite and helpful helpful. They always have smiles. The rooms are spacious with a full kitchen and an extra sink and mirror, which my husband liked. Definitely had plenty of room for all my stuff and my husband's small suitcase....lol. would definitely recommend it to anyone.

The hotel was beautifully decorated with tasteful, elevated finishes. Everything was very clean. Unfortunately, the immediate area was kind of not great. Our partial ocean view was primarily of the parking lot and a building covered in mildew. The hot tub is for one person, maybe two, and it was cloudy with suspicious things floating in it. The patio area was spacious and clean. The TV is not connected to the internet so we were unable to use it for Netflix, Hulu, etc. I haven’t been to Daytona in years and was sad to see how run down it was over all. The hotel itself was fine, but if you don’t get a full ocean view, you’re just reminded by your view how sketch everything is in the area.

Excellent stay! Only hiccup was the key kept getting demagnetized by getting close to phone so beware! Coffee bar had 1 orange left at 930am. Will def be back!
