The hotel is closed for renovations. No one told us. We showed up to mattresses and couches outside. There was no note or anything. We even tried calling the number that was given to us, but it was disconnected. Terrible, Terrible experience

Hello!

Check in went well.

Unfortunately I wasn't aware of a construction that's going on in a hotel at the time if booking and sounds like there is going to be no breakfast due to that.

When I booked this hotel, that was one of the main reasons I chose to stay here.

The room is nice and neat, I wish I was aware of breakfast situation when I was booking through Expedia.

Liubov.

This hotel is under construction. They said WiFi only cover the first floor - so no wifi in most of the rooms. As a result of this, you can only watch basic cable in your room. Only decaf coffee was offered in the room, our soap containers in the bathroom were empty, only enough towels for one person, and a sad breakfast offering.

The room was big, clean, and comfy. Also the staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. The hotel was being renovated and was under construction. The hotel was listed with a pool. We were looking forward to going swimming. The pool had water, but was closed. That was a negative part of the stay.

The room was very nice. The mattress felt like it was brand new and was one of the top 3 most comfortable hotel rooms I stayed in. The pillows were also very comfortable. The shower didn’t face enough water pressure. The hotel is under renovation and the pool was closed. I would definitely stay here again based off if the comfort of the room.

Bring roach spray. Don’t bring your swimsuits. Health department closed the pool due to the ongoing construction. Don’t plan on eating the advertised breakfast it does not exist. I feel sorry for the employees. They were great. I’d hate to be the one to tell the guests no pool or no breakfast. The least they could have done would have been to let the guests know the above issues. Booked through Expedia. They wanted to offer a 25 dollar refund. Not interested unfortunately.

Roaches mold, signs of bedbugs. Expedia didn’t help at all don’t pay for the insurance cause it’s not worth it. The Expedia customer service is horrible and the only girl that tried to help at the hotel. She couldn’t do anything because she was just a worker after three rooms full of roaches and mold, we went home. Expedia says there’s free breakfast and there’s a pool. There’s none of that the hotels under reservation. It’s not even the same name that’s on the sign

The front desk woman was rude and rolling her eyes at everyone who asked for a towel for the rooms. Even others from other rooms. The pool was closed for no reason. They rolled eyes when we asked why. We only came to this one for the pool. It was clean and looked fine. There were old bath tubs laying outside.

AC was off when we arrived late at night and the room over 85F. It did not get to 72 for hours which was terrible to sleep in. The window could not be opened to let fresh cool air inside so it just sucked all night. None of our towels were clean which was a huge inconvenience. We even noticed another guest at the check in counter asking for towels because their room didn’t have any clean ones. The sink was falling apart. Definitely not coming back to this hotel.

Room & property were clean. This hotel is undergoing a renovation & what has been completed is comfortable & updated. Our room & bathroom were updated & nicely decorated. Bed & bedding comfortable. Pictures had not been hung. Pool was closed which we wouldn’t have used anyway. Breakfast was good & food was filled in & fresh. Staff were efficient. Great location. We look forward to staying there again.

When we arrived the staff told us that the pool was no available and that the breakfast that was supposed to be included with our stay was not available also.
Apparently Expedia failed to informed the customer that booked the rooms that their are certain things we could not use.
Which I think that if these second hand vendors and/or what ever you are called should have the decency t I post these issues with in the booking listings.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Stay – Excellent Staff & Clean Rooms!

I had a wonderful experience at the Daytona Speedway Hotel. From start to finish, the front desk personnel were outstanding. In the past, I’ve experienced issues with double bookings at other properties, so I made it a point to follow up 30 days prior to arrival and again 24 hours before check-in. Each time, I was met with friendly, professional staff who were eager to assist and provide reassurance.

Upon arrival, I initially thought I might be at the wrong location since the Holiday Inn signage has not yet been converted to Daytona Speedway Hotel. However, the staff kindly stepped outside and waved us in to ensure we had arrived at the correct place — such a thoughtful touch!

Check-in was smooth and efficient. Our room was clean, fresh, and free of any odors or bugs, which is always appreciated. The property is currently undergoing renovations due to a merger, but this did not negatively impact our stay.

I would highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay here again.

Insane. I booked this hotel in July (through Hotels.com) for the Rolex 24. I received a generic message the morning of arrival, as I was in the airport, that they overbooked and my reservation was canceled. How does your system not tell you that?? This clearly happened to a lot of us.

We called to confirm/ask if there was anything that could be done, and the lady was clearly reading from a script because it was word-for-word the generic message I received.

It was during a remodel. The dude above my room swung a hammer like a girl. Tap tap tap from 8am to 8pm. Lady that checked us in was super nice and very pleasant to talk to. Dont get scared by the next doors virtual security guard. He just screams at you over a megaphone. Kunda comical to day the least. Other than that. I would stay again. Pretty chill place. Oh yea. Forgot about the random fire alarm. Thats just probably someone smoking in their room.

Hotel cancelled entire reservation within hours of planned check-in. Hotel staff claimed no responsibility for their actions nor assisted in finding replacement lodging. Be aware for any who wish to stay here that this hotel will cancel on you at any moment's notice without warning or concern for your plans.

Desk clerk was good. According to management they had renovations going on with entire 3rd floor. Management expressed that Expedia had over booked and our 6 guest party had no room. The desk clerk did put us in a room for the arrival night but we had no room the next nights.

Upon arrival, we were informed that the hotel had been oversold and that they might not be able to accommodate our stay. Ultimately, they were unable to honor our reservation, despite the room having been booked six months in advance.

Additionally, the first room we were placed in had cockroaches. While the second room was acceptable, the damage was already done.

Being forced to find alternate accommodations on Rolex 24 race weekend, with no notice and no meaningful assistance, placed an unfair and unnecessary burden on us as guests. The lack of accountability was especially frustrating, as the hotel owner shifted blame to Expedia rather than taking responsibility.

This experience left a very bitter impression. I will not be returning to this hotel and cannot recommend it to others.

No room was available. According to hotel manager, Expedia was offering rooms which were not available. However, hotel displays Holiday Inn sign outside but says they are independent. Half the hotel was under renovation as well. I put this on the hotel. No help was offered to rebook into nearby hotels since they are now independent.
