We had stayed there before with no problems. This time they were out of some extra bedding we needed and the balcony we paid for was locked and couldn’t use it. The rooms with just the view and no balcony are better

When we checked in, we were asked for a $250 deposit, which was fine. We were also told we'd receive a $15 daily food and beverage credit. What we were NOT told was that there was a mandatory \"destination fee\" of about $28 per day that would be added to the bill. Finding that out only at checkout felt misleading.
The issues started with our room door, which would not lock properly. Maintenance came to fix it, but the problem only got worse. Later during our stay, after my wife and I took showers, water flooded a large portion of the room and soaked the carpet, luggage, and some of our clothes. The hotel's solution was to move us to another room and provide a single Tide pod.
The room itself was not in great condition. The carpet and floors had visible stains, and even the bed sheets appeared stained before we used them. The soap dispensers in the bathroom barely worked and were frustrating to use throughout the stay.
At checkout, I noticed the $250 hold had disappeared and a separate $65 charge appeared on my card.
When I asked about it, I was told it was related to room service charges that exceeded the deposit amount, along with credits being applied. The billing process was confusing and not explained clearly.
To be fair, most of the staff were polite and helpful during our stay. Unfortunately, good customer service could not make up for the maintenance issues, flooding, cleanliness concerns, and unexpected fees.
Overall, this hotel was not worth the price we paid.

I stayed at The Daytona for a work trip and was thoroughly impressed. The hotel offers excellent amenities, the gym, pool, lounge areas and meeting spaces made it easy to balance work and relaxation.

The location is also fantastic, with restaurants, shops, and the track just a short walk away.

What truly set this stay apart was the staff. They were warm, professional, and incredibly accommodating. When my flight was unexpectedly cancelled after I had already checked out, they quickly arranged for me to extend my stay without any hassle. That level of care made a stressful situation so much easier to handle.

Highly recommend The Daytona for both business and leisure stays—top-notch service and comfort all the way.

No TP and fees

It was nice. We did run out of toilet paper on our last night so it would have been nice to have enough in the bathroom already. Housekeeping came the first day however didn’t come on the second (hence why we ran out of TP). Also they did have a July 4th pool party however it was $20 per person to attend. If you stay at the hotel haven’t you already have access to the pool?! They should only charge if you want anything to drink. Also they will charge you are destination fee of $28 per day and district fee of $1.89 per day plus tax when you check out. It would have been nice to know about these extra charges beforehand or have it included in the price to book.

We went for Daytona Supercross
We went out after we were told some one would be at the front desk 24 hours. We went back to our room we could not get into our room because the battery on the door was dead. We went downstairs only to have to wait about 20 minutes for someone to come back to the front desk to come up to manually unlock our door. Then I was woke at seven in the morning to them trying to fix our door. other than that overall it was a great stay rooms are clean. Beds are excellent.

My room was the floor level right above the Lobby area, and they were playing very loud music. All i could hear was the bass from the music, i called and asked about it and FD agent stated it would be over around 10:30-11p. That's kinda late for some people. Next time possibly ask if they would like to be moved.. But other than that a very nice hotel and would stay again, just at a higher floor.
