Room dated and smelled. Wfi intermittent. T v/cable restricted to 15 channels. One computer type chair where the seat was pitched at a 45 degree angle. (Totally useless).
Breakfast was a total embarrassment featuring cereal bread slices for toasting biscuits and white gravy and a banana.
To describe that bill of fare as a breakfast buffet is ludicrous. For a couple more dollars a day you can book a better location. Save you money and pass on sleep inn Ormond Beach florida

The room served it's purpose. It was booked for staying close to the festival we were going to on the speedway, but this hotel would not be a first or even second choice. The room smelled like pure cigarettes and was muggy. The light in the bathroom went out and we were almost in the dark in there. The walls looked like they had mold. Definitely didn't look like the rooms were kept up at all. Because of the dates we usually go every year everything else was booked but we will definitely try to avoid ending up here again.

I want to start off by saying the service from staff members was SUPERB! Check-In was swift and simple. I was checked in within a couple of minutes. As for my room, bed was lumpy and wasn’t the best sleep I’ve had. Linens were clean though. Bathroom and sink were very clean! Room entertainment center seemed to be losing its legs due to what seems to be water damage. Which hopefully isn’t due to moisture in the carpet, but from my breathing issues during my stay…moisture is possible. Desk chair looked like it came from a dump. Leather peeling, metal rusted. Secure doors at most entrances. But lots of sketchy behavior in the parking lot almost all day, especially at night. Overall, this is a good stay for maybe 1 or 2 nights. Family stay? Not so much.

Room clean, but shampoo not refilled. Thankfully I had brought my own for later use. I was created when I can and the person on duty was very kind and helpful. Breakfast ok, but no youngest and only apples. No sweet bread, so if you don’eat sausage and graveyard of waffles, choices were short. When I left no one at desk so just left my cards. When the bathroom floor gets damp it is very slippery. Towels thin. Bed was comfortable but several of the outlets did’t work. Bulb in lamp on the far side of bed kept strobing.

The check-in process at this hotel was great. The front desk staff was very friendly and informed me about breakfast time, check-out time, and the Wi-Fi password. She also let me know that the pool is open for guests and available until 10 PM. The location is very convenient, with many restaurant options nearby and close to Ormond Town Square and easy access to Interstate 95.

The issue was the breakfast, which was very poor. There were no eggs, bacon or sausage. There were no protein items of any kind.

The biscuts had been used before and were very hard. A knife could break trying to cut them.

Going to have to revisit staying at Choice Hotels in the future.

Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Door wasn’t working at 1am and staff wouldn’t help us get in our room until the next day when it had our phone chargers important meds and clothing in it, all they said is to bad we’ll try again tomorrow. After this I waited all week to speak to a manger and that never happened. The blankets and sheets all had more stains then I can count.

This place is awful. I travel to Daytona every year and definitely won’t stay at this hotel again. I had to change rooms twice because the first one had a broken toilet and the second was missing the security latch on the door. The room I wound up in had musty and didn’t feel very clean. The towels were dirty and when I moved the nightstand to plug in my charger I found a smoked cigarette under it. The room was supposed to be nonsmoking and I have asthma. There are spots on the walls, the curtains were stained and filthy, the AC needs to be cleaned, and the fan in the bathroom was caked with dust. The door had a chunk missing, some of the furniture had clearly been damaged, and the fridge had rust all over the outside of it. The people in the rooms around mine were yelling all hours of the day and night so I got no sleep at all in the 5 nights I was there. I would have tried another hotel but I was in town for a festival and everything was sold out or extremely overpriced seeing as I would have been booking last minute. There were also children running around everywhere unsupervised. My key card for the room also kept locking me out and had to be reset multiple times. I feel bad for the staff that work there. At least they were kind and as helpful as they could be. It’s unfortunate since this hotel is in a great location and close to so many things. Now I’m sick from being in this room and even missed the last day of the festival. I won’t be staying here again.

Overall our stay went smoothly. The staff was kind and helpful and the hotel is in a good location, central yet generally quiet. We enjoyed the pool and the 24/7 coffee machine. The breakfast is OK, the beds were reasonably comfortable, and the shower was nice. The room is fairly nice and clean enough, but it needs some maintenance. The toilet paper holder, the bathroom fan, and the digital clock in our room were all broken, and the mattress on one of the two double beds was sagging in the middle. (The other one was comfortable). The pool area is nice, but the pool also needs more frequent cleaning. There is plenty of parking and the WiFi works well.

My husband and I were there for two days I paid ahead of time or I would’ve left immediately. First of all the highway is right there and you can hear it all night if you’re not hearing that you’re here at the air-conditioning. It’s probably the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in !! Worse than disgusting. The health board needs to close it down. Forget about breakfast there’s next to nothing there. There’s some white bread, watery waffle mix, apples, and cereal. I didn’t really see much more asking for yogurt. They told me they didn’t have any and finally came out with a few. Find another place to stay they charge an expensive fee for a place that’s not worth any more than $20 a night.!!!

The property was adequate for a one-night stay. It’s an older building, and while some updates appear to have been made, there is still room for improvement and ongoing upkeep. There was a noticeable odor in the common areas that didn’t feel typical of a hotel environment.

The room itself was quiet and generally clean, though it lacked a fresh, “just-cleaned” scent.

The furnature was rundown, and smelled bad.

For breakfast they had no toaster for the bread, the toaster was hidden under the country which I found by opening
the cabinet doors. The menu was cereal, white bread, peanut butter, jam, bananes, ketchup, syrup and waffles, scores and gravy. The tables were dirty and one chair was full of waffle batter all dried up.
