Amazing customer from check in to check out! Great selection of daily breakfast options. Coffee was great! Always saw someone cleaning, sweeping, polishing handrails, glass windows etc… very friendly to people and prime central location. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, beaches, parks and malls. Would definitely recommend for families!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. One of its biggest highlights is the excellent location, with easy access to many of the area’s main attractions. Whether you’re sightseeing, shopping, or dining, everything is conveniently nearby, making it easy to explore without spending too much time traveling.

The hotel is also well connected by public transportation, making it simple to get around. The rooms were clean but could improved, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.

Overall, this hotel is a great choice for anyone looking for convenience, comfort, and a perfect base to explore the city. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to other travelers

It was an amazing experience, for staying at the Holiday Inn for the first time in Hawaii, it was a blast. Room was nice and cool, including free great delicious breakfast!! And close to stores and 6 min walk from the Beaches!!! Stag was great and very efficient to getting your room and they also hold my luggage while I waited to check-in time.

The elevators to floor 26-44 had a security concern. You could push the floor button without using you room key in some elevators allowing just anyone to access the upper floors. The door to the swimming area always jammed and sometimes didn’t open at all. My groom went I cleaned on Wednesday. Everything else was fine

The check in and check out was super quick…much quicker than I had imagined standing in a line. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. They made the experience so much better. The location was great because it was within walking distance of all the shops I wanted to go to and when I had to Uber it wasn’t as expensive as I had prepared for it to be. Ooh and their breakfast every day was great. I ate so much it kept me full, so I would just have snack for lunch. Saved me a lot of money. Also conveniently across the street was ABC too…if ya know ya know Lol. I loved my stay. Thank you Holiday Inn staff.

The property is very clean, price affordable parking is very very limited. If you are military park at fort Derussy and get your ticket validated at the hale Kia. The room is adequate but small.
The property is convenient to everything in walking distance.

Rooms are very little, two queen beds, two feet apart from tv stand, a small couch with a small table, very narrow bathroom.
Traffic is very heavy because of the zone, but beach is a walking distance, restaurants and other shopping stores within 10- 15 min. walking
Elevators are very slowly, depends on the floor you are, it’s better to use stairs.
Parking garage tall 6.3 so preferable to rent a small SUV or car for easy access because of one road for both ways, watch out!

The location is great, and the included breakfast was fantastic. The coffee was surprisingly bad for Hawaii! My biggest complaint was the size of the room. If you plan to have 4 people, they better not bro g more than a backpack each! It’s a very tiny space.

Good value for price. Great location, close to beach, mall, restaurants, and shops.
We’re a family of four with 2 teens so we appreciated the good free breakfast. The elevator got pretty busy so if that’s not for you, ask for a lower floor and use the stairs.
On site parking was nice. As was the 5th floor deck with pool/spa and family games.
Staff was super friendly. My only minor complaint is the bathroom needed a deep clean. It was cleanish but could have been cleaner.

The room was a little small but still a good size for 2 people! The daily breakfast tasted good and had actual hot food that was constantly restocked. I would say this hotel is definitely worth the price and I would definitely be returning! It was also so close to everything, literally a 10-15 minute walk from all the shops it’s the perfect location! I also noticed my room was being cleaned daily which is huge, especially for a hotel this big!

Parking “wasn’t guaranteed” but we were able to find parking for every night of our stay! A little pricey but it’s honestly the same everywhere else. The pool and jacuzzi are very cold which was the only downside since we decided not to use them because of this.

The elevators are a bit slow because of how packed the hotel can get, but it wasn’t the worst thing ever, I still feel like the hotel was definitely worth it!

Fantastic staff! Great location for walking throughout Waikiki and driving to further destinations on the island. Public transport was great, too! Room was small but clean, and housekeeping was very friendly and helpful. The information desk was very helpful, too. Breakfast had decent variety - one tiny suggestion would be to add another fruit option besides bananas and oranges. I grabbed an apple one day, but that was it. Our only real complaint about the hotel was that the hot tub wasn't hot, but hopefully that will be fixed soon. Otherwise we loved our stay!

I had a positive experience staying at this hotel. For a customer who prioritizes value I think this is a great place to stay. I feel like I got my money's worth.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the staff was helpful and friendly. The free breakfast was the best I've ever seen. The amenities were nice including the games on the patio and the gym.

With that said there is a reason this is a more affordable place to stay. The room is on the small side, as the bed was less than 2 feet from the wall. The pool is also small.

My only real complaint was how loud the air conditioning unit was. I wound up using ear plugs.

With that said I would definitely stay here again. If you are looking for an affordable place to stay and you're going to spend most of your time enjoying Hawaii outside of your hotel room this is a option that is worth considering.

The room was clean. The bathroom was a little outdated. The breakfast wasn't the best, but it was free so. The staff was great. Nice to have washer and dryers onsite especially after coming from the beach. The hot tub was not hot. The actual pool was warmer than the hot tub. The location was great. Nice walk to the beach and all the shops. I was able to find parking each night. The ocean view was nice. I would stay here again.

I like the vicinity to the stores and areas to see. But the inside of the room is a bit small with the double bed. The air conditioning was not working properly and front grille is dirty and had to clean it and then maintenance had to fix it due to cooling issue. Staff are quick to respond . The only thing i hate is we lack recycling bin at all. Every floor should have bins for metal, plastic and paper. Lastly they need to speed up wifi connection for all guest despite the location on the building.

The breakfast was good, pancake machines , bread toasters, eggs and sausage. Plenty to choose from and indoor and outdoor seating. Our hotel room was nice and cold we had a partial view of the ocean which we were able to see the fireworks from the beach on Friday night. The only thing that can be frustrating is waiting on a elevator especially during peek time they were always full capacity. Other then that we walked to the beach and many other attractions around Waikiki. There are bus lines that run the street the hotel is on. Would definitely stay again if we were to go back.

Our stay for 5 nights was great except that rooms were very small and the bathroom was extremely small. Amenities were ok although we didn’t use pool or games. The best thing about this hotel was the complimentary full breakfast that had pretty good choices of items. Location was within walking distance to main strip of Waikiki shops and restaurants.

I don't really understand the higher ratings for this property. We stayed just for one night due to a later flight getting into Hawaii, but arrived thinking the rooms would be well-maintained. Although the lobby was nice and the staff friendly, the room itself felt far from clean. As soon as we walked in, it was evident how humid and moist the room was. There were obvious signs of poor ventilation, because there was mold everywhere. The lampshades next to the bed had significant black mold growth, as did areas in the bathroom. The bedsheets also felt almost damp to the touch, given how humid the room was. It honestly felt like a health hazard, and I was pretty disgusted by the amount of mold growth - particularly right next to the bed. Since it was late at night and just for one night before our actual trip stay, we dealt with it, but I couldn't wait to get out of the room in the morning. The breakfast was good, but there was no room to sit (the hotel seemed to be at full capacity and it was a smaller dining area). The hotel felt very warm in the hallways too, so I think it definitely needs to contend with the overall ventilation issues.

The room was a little more compact than what the online photos depicted, however it was okay for the three of us. The bathroom was too small though. The elevators were extremely slow. The buffet was nice, as well as the pool and other outdoor activities provided. The staff was friendly and the hotel was well kept. It was fairly priced. It was also a few minutes walk from the beach, shopoing and some excellent food trucks! I would recommend it to other travelers.

Cons: The rooms were really small and not much room to move around in. The hotel was at the end of the waikiki area and that side was a little shady walking back to the hotel at night.

The location is quite nice with walking distance to the Waikiki beach and prime shopping locations. A small food truck park was 2 mins walk from the hotel giving a nice sampler of the variety of local cuisines. The hotel's breakfast spread was pretty decent for a buffet. The staff was quite nice and helpful.

One point to nitpick would be that they need all elevators working during peak rush hours which wasn't the case with us leading to long wait time. They should perhaps replace them with faster ones.

Hotel is outdated. Room felt muggy and bed felt wet. Elevators are slow and unpredictable. Parking is terrible. Not enough spaces for all guests. One night we came back around 10pm. No open spots so we had to drive 4 blocks to park at another garage. Because of the stress of not finding a spot, the other nights we were out we had to make sure to be back at least by 7pm to guarantee a spot. Plus side, hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Besides that overall experience is a 3 out of 10.

Location, breakfast and staff was great. The air conditioning was fairly noisy and one elevator seemed to go down frequently which meant 2 elevators for about 20 floors worth of people. If you rent an oversized van for a large family it will not fit in parking garage and so the open parking is a bit of a hike and it’s a little pricey.

First arrived and a/c didnt work, they replaced it and the newer one we couldn't control it. Next morning, we had no hot water and had to change rooms. Then every day 1 of the elevators would be out of service and we would have to wait 30 minutes just to get an elevator. Most of the ice machines didnt work either. Seems like this hotel runs on about 50% of their stuff being broken or inoperable. They charged me an additional $380 and called it a resort fee but there are no amenities that would make it a resort. The security staff were amazing and super helpful though. DEFINITELY WILL NOT STAY THERE AGAIN and I Do Not Recommend using this hotel.

I don’t want to say all bad things but it’s gonna be an honest review… The hotel has like 750+ rooms but only 150ish parking spots (50 a night to park) when you can’t find a spot they send you half of a mile walk away to pay another 50, no discount for the inconvenience. The rooms are really small like just enough room to get into the bed. I also saw an orange needle cap under the microwave, so maybe not the cleanest room you will get but it didn’t look dirty besides that. They do have a hot breakfast and it’s within walking distance of the beach and Friday fireworks.

Our room wasn’t cleaned daily and they accused us of putting our do not disturb sign on. We didn’t. We didn’t have enough towels so we had to call every day for some because they didn’t stock us up. Windows were dirty and couldn’t really take good pictures of the view. Was told they have 400 guests at check in as if we weren’t that important. Rooms are small and I banged my leg on a drawer at night. Not much of a walk way. Can’t say I’d stay there again. Thankfully I wasn’t at the hotel much.

checked in and was informed of $35 RESORT fee. after 16 hrs of travel our party of 6 expected to relax in the jacuzzi hot tub. one foot in an it was more like a COLD PLUNGE pool.was told part was ordered but no clue when it would be repaired.hallway outside our elevator had \"crumbs\" or something the whole stay..ice machines on some floors out of order..relaxing by pool and needing restroom it as well was \"out of order\"..exchanging towels on housekeeping floor was told needed towels werent available yet but would be delivered.never received. \"something\" on showered curtain blood stain or makeup? staff didnt know...marked on comforter as if to notify housekeeping if change was needednot sure what that was about,...POSITIVE...breakfast was good and staff did good of keeping food items stocked.RESORT FEE ???? not sure if i would call this a resort and not sure what the RESORT fee was for but needless to say..we disputed the RESORT fee and ir was removed...dont think this would be my choice agian as it WASNT the HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS i have stayed in before ;-(
