First time at the Watercolor Inn, celebrating our 21 year anniversary. Everything was absolutely perfect!!! They even surprised us with a bottle of wine and a piece of cake to celebrate. The room was beautiful, the staff was friendly, helpful and amazing. The turndown service was top notch. We will definitely be back.

No detail left untouched - our stay was amazing! From the thoughtful additions of things like robes, slippers, room spray, a room of treats for the kids on every level, front beach access, beautiful pools and firepit areas, to the welcoming staff that felt like family by night 2... we will be back again and again!

What an incredible hotel stay. From the minute we checked in to our departure the staff was welcoming, helpful & extremely professional. You can tell they love their jobs. The room was immaculate with a beautiful view from the balcony of the blue green water of the gulf. (4th floor) I highly recommend this hotel that had 3 heated pools.

Absolutely loved Seaside and The Watercolor Inn. First time traveling to Seaside area and decided to stay at the Watercolor and glad we did. Very nice hotel and right on the beach. The sand was amazing and ocean clear.
We were welcomed by Chris in Valet. Great guy. And then Jeffrey the Manager. Everyone was exceptionally nice. Not busy fortunately too being the week before Christmas.

The rooms were restfully appointed and very comfy with an amazing unobstructed view of the ocean and beach, perfect for the sunset every night.

Had breakfast once and a dinner at the Fish out of water restaurant which was very nice. Very low key and just perfect for our first dinner. Nice locally caught fish.

The pools were large and many of them. We had use of the member pool too. All of them were heated and actually quite warm. We got lucky with the weather too as it was around 70 every day. Great way to spend the days before Christmas.

Would we go back? 1000% YES! We’re actually going to book something for late Sept.

Also glad we stayed here because the area was super nice and Seaside was awesome. Literally a 5 min walk up the street. Super cool houses and the filming location for the ‘98 movie, The Truman Show.

Ended up here due to a vrbo mishap in booking. Stayed on the fourth floor and was beside a family with a screaming baby for two days. The walls were paper thin and you could hear every person who traveled past the front door.
Also, our unit was above the Inn’s pool, which had screaming children starting early in the morning. The location was extremely convenient to where we were originally supposed to stay, so that was a plus. In addition, they did have fresh baked treats waiting in our room once I was able to check in at 4:20 – 4:30 PM. other than the location, there is nothing that would make me stay here again for the price.

Staying at the Inn is great because you have your own pool just for Inn guests--all other pools are INSANELY and obnoxiously crowded. So if you are staying on property at a house, not at the Inn, good luck with enjoying the pool. Staying at the Inn, however, was very low key and enjoyable.

Great time. Biggest and really only criticism is that the beach is overcome with tight umbrella and beach chair setups. Feels like a money grab. Only front row can see the ocean easily and no other options. For the cost of staying at the inn, it should include a couple chairs and umbrella at the beach as it's a beach resort. Ive been to many beach resorts at a lesser cost and this was the first time i experienced this. We came FOR this beach and spent no time on it. Too inconvenient and detracted from the beauty of it that was advertised.

Incredible hotel stay! I don't believe we have ever had a better stay at any hotel. The newly remodeled Watercolor Inn is beautiful - everything is brand new, including the attached restaurant, Fish Out Of Water.

All personnel were friendly and helpful. Room service personnel brought freshly-baked cookies every evening. Pool is wonderful. Location is very good, being a short walk to Seaside.

We will never stay anywhere else on 30A.

This was possibly the most welcoming and well appointed room we have experienced in all of our travels. Very comfortable bedding but the moment we walked in, we were wowed. Only booked a standard room so didn’t expect the amenities, roominess, convenient hooks around the room which were incorporated into the lovely decor. Welcome basket of treats and a Treat Suite on each floor were a nice touch. Everything was conveniently located and a great spot to walk to Seaside to explore. Just loved the Watercolor Inn.

The staff was very friendly . Hotel lobby is a bit dated but the rooms are clean and have wood floors and a large bathroom. The view from the room was a gorgeous ocean view from a balcony with 2 high adorondeck chairs. Very quiet.

Very nice place.

It was a very nice place. But the food was average and expensive. And the rooms are pricey too. Our bathroom door handle broke off and they didn't fix it. And we couldn't take a shower the first day because we only had extremely hot water and no cold water to cool it down. They fixed it the next day.

Best Stay for a Family on 30A

They literally thought of everything! We took a 4 night family vacation (with two kids under 10 years old) and it was truly one of the best hotel stays our family has ever had.
With super easy beach access on site, multiple pools, and multiple on site restaurants, everything we needed was just steps away and so convenient. Food was great, service by the staff was impeccable, and the rooms were beautiful! Each floor even had a “Treat Suite” with free snacks that our kids enjoyed each day. We definitely plan to return!

No hospitality whatsoever.

Check in was horrible because we arrived late...12AM midnight nothing open, no help, no food, no drinks, no suggestions, an unfriendly desk clerk, and an awkward creepy feeling of coldness engulfed the air. We were given unkind looks by all the employees doing absolutely nothing but staring at us fumble our way to find our room...They couldn't take the time out of their napping and reading to even try to be slightly welcoming to their guests that had just driven 14 hours to stay at the Hotel. Unfriendliness was the vibe. I was even told a negative remark and given an eye role insinuating that not booking directly with the hotel was frowned upon. It felt like we weren't as significant as their typical guests which seemed condescending and rude. I had requested a king and got 2 queens. The beds were extremely hard. The 3rd floor ocean view was a joke and barely a view of anything but maintenance storage units below albeit I had paid extra for ocean view. We left next morning in the pouring rain. Not one of the young bell boys standing around talking and laughing offered to help my elderly husband fetch a cart in the rain or to lend a hand with the luggage. Needless to say we got drenched. The girls in the gift shop were haughty and unhelpful as well. Being a beach lover the Water Color Inn had been on my bucket list for many many years. After reading so many wonderful reviews I was so excited to finally be there. I left totally disenchanted. It was a total waste of money.

This is my 5th time to Watercolor Inn (started coming in 2017). Love the convenience w the pools (love the new hotel pool). Feel like the restaurants aren't as good as they could be especially compared to restaurants in Rosemary. I do not like the new interior of the rooms, the headboard design is terrible and the worst is the dressers w the non-functional bottom drawer. What is the point of having that? They also took took out starfish decor in the showers, which were really cool. Also took out the sound machines which was a bonus. The maid service forgot to do turn down service one night during our stay. The Inn is still beautiful but there are a few things they could update/change a bit. The staff at front desk and outside are always super friendly and helpful. Hope to be back next year!

In a day and age where post COVId hotel stays have been sub par, understaffed, and lacking amenities offered pre-Covid, it was very refreshing to stay at Watercolor Inn where this was not the case. Watercolor Inn was fully staffed, with joyful, helpful, knowledgeable staff. From the moment we pulled into the property we encountered the most pleasant and helpful staff. All facilities were up and running. The extra treats in the room upon check in, the nightly cookies, the “treat suite,” the availability of bikes, the heated pools staffed with lifeguards keeling a watchful eye. We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay and look forward returning very soon. We were there celebrating my daughters birthday and our experience was fantastic! Highly recommend.

Watercolor in is a very charming boutique hotel located in Water Color along 30A, half mile walk to Seaside center where there are a big square with restaurants and shops. We had a room on 2nd story, can walk through the hotel restaurant and use the deck for direct beach access. Hotel front desk Orco (from Turkey) and Yuka (Japan) are absolutely helpful and kind.

Amazing pools and beaches! There is a trolley service that will take you around from the resort, which I thought was great! The rooms were nice, definitely stay on the 3rd or 4th floor if you want to see the ocean-the views are beautiful. The only downside is the balconies are not private-you can see straight through the dividers to your neighbor. You have to reserve your beach setup ahead of time if you want to be in the first or second row. Great place overall though! I would recommend.

We had such a nice time and the staff was amazing. We honestly never saw cleaning staff but each time we came back it was like cleaning elves had come and left us cookies. The rooms were bigger than I expected and my family of 4 never felt too crowed Even with an 11 month old.

Beautiful resort and pool facilities. Staff was excellent, as were the cleaning staff. The only thing that could use some work for the upcoming summer season given the covid crowd is the ordering system at the pool bar and the chair issue at both pools. They need additional staff to deal with that amount of crowding at the main pool. To get a tea or food you have to wait in the same line as everyone waiting for drinks. Hire a few extra bartenders and 1-2 waitresses. Yours are overworked and struggling. Camp watercolor was outstanding! 5 out of 5 for families.

This was a bucket list stay. It was not at all the luxe experience I had dreamed of. The staff is trained to a 2 star level and there is no getting to 'yes' on anything you need. The hotel is very dirty and starting to get run down like carpets and the gym. No water views unless you are on the 3rd or 4th floors. The beach is like sardines with one chair butting up to another. Nothing like sharing your neighbors loud conversation and losing a whole day of tranquility on the beach. The bathroom has a shower curtain closure instead of a door so there is NO privacy. The shower is glass all around the top so you will have everyone in your room watching while you take a shower. Not an an exceptional experience sadly. It was ok, but not amazing.

The Customer Service at this property is excellent. They go the extra mile to make sure you know everything there is do while staying in WaterColor and they give you little extras that truly make your stay more enjoyable (appetizers upon arrival, nightly cookies & cocktail, and a departure item).

WaterColor Inn is a beautiful property. The rooms are well appointed and our view of the ocean was perfect. The front desk and valet service was excellent. The service in both restaurants was very slow. The biggest disappointment was having to reserve and pay $70 for beach chairs. I understand the reasoning but when you are paying $700 a night, we thought this should be included. Overall experience was goo.

The location, staff, room, and dining options were all wonderful. My one critique is that when I am already paying quite a premium nightly rate, i did not enjoy being told it was an extra $45 to $80 charge depending on day and location for a beach chair and umbrella (but you got $15 off the non-guest rate). At every other luxury hotel I’ve stayed at this would be included with the room.
