What a great place to stay. The suite was super nice. We loved having a full kitchen and separate bedroom area. The gym on the first floor was perfect and what a special treat to have access to the Watersound club (golf, pool and wellness center) Bradley at the front desk was a terrific addition to our stay!

Don’t stay here if you arrive late. The doors are locked and there’s a tiny sign way above the front door with a number to call. It was a dark night and impossible to see. It took me a half an hour to get into the hotel and only after going to the security guard for the area next-door was I able to do that. She was very helpful and made a few phone calls, but it took a tremendous effort and had no idea what to do it first. There is no one available after a certain time at night. Too bad if you arrive later. And all less for more than $500 a night. Terrible service.

Had a very relaxing and rejuvenating stay, the weather was on and off so we had stayed in the room and it was very comfy, comes with kitchen and kitchenware and all other bells and whistles. Bed was super comfy as well. Beach access is available via the Beach club and the pool is also amazing! Perfect stay for couples and families! Worth the every dollar! The staff were very hospitable as well!

The elevator did not work for the entire stay. Everyone had to carry luggage and packages 3 floors up and down.

First Time To 30A
We had a wonderful family stay at the WaterSound Inn. We were not sure what to expect but it was exactly what we needed. This place is a small inn with full 2 bedroom suites that are almost more like a condo. (This was ideal for us, as we had a 22 month old and a 6 month old and were able to have them sleeping far enough away from each other and us that we all slept well). It is located above the gatehouse of a gated community. We had about a 7 minute walk to the beach club which had 2 restaurants, 2 pools and beach access. We initially thought we had booked a resort, so we were surprised when we arrived that there was not any sort of luggage service or room service, but this was our own misunderstanding. Overall the boutique hotel is so small and conveniently located we did not need either of these things.
The only thing I would note for people traveling with young children is they do not have any sort of child equipment available, however it was easy to rent cribs/pack and plays, etc through Beach Baby Crib Rentals. Everything was in our room when we arrived and we were able to just leave it in the room upon our departure.
We also used Babysitters At The Beach each night and had spectacular dinners while our kids slept. I would also highly recommend them!

Great trip to 30A. We had several great dinners and enjoyed some beach time at the Watersound Beach Club. Highly recommend FOOW at Watercolor, Cafe Thirty-A and Surfing Deer.

Unable to review as reservation was not valid
We had a confirmed reservation at Watersound Inn in Santa Rosa, FL. Two days before our reservation the property manager informed us that the room was not available for the length of our stay. She worked overnight and found us another hotel in a different location. Not impressed with VRBO customer service as their only remedy was to \"call the property manager.\"

This property is adjacent to a fantastic neighborhood right on the beach. It is situated at the entrance, which will probably seem strange. However, as a guest, you get access to all of amenities, and THAT is the key reason to stay here.

Friendly service & amazing amenities
The front desk receptionist was friendly and welcoming when we arrived and answered any questions we had. The room was very clean and had all the necessities for cooking, bath, etc. The beach club access was amazing, and included a beach setup, access to the beach which includes a dune lake that overflows into the ocean, and 2 zero entry pools, one of which has a lazy river. We weren’t able to eat at their restaurant, but look forward to trying it next time. Would definitely recommend, plan to return!

Peaceful Getaway
A peaceful and quiet place to stay. Clean and spacious rooms equipped with anything you need. Bruno’s Pizza downstairs was delicious! A favorite of mine would be the entire inn having the photographs taken by Richard Bickel decorating the walls. Oh, and probably the most comfortable bed ever.

The WaterSound property owners (or the name itself) has several locations... so of course google maps to me to the wrong location (11:30 at night) took 15 minutes on phone and then another 30 minute drive to reach hotel. Of course it was VERY dark, no visible security outside, and the hotel staff was long gone for the day...
Luckily the two different codes I had the memorize from the on call clerk got me sadly into my room...

We enjoyed our stay and the property is lovely. I was VERY disappointed at checkout that there was a $40/PER DAY amenities fee, as I never saw that in the purchase price. Not only that but our pins coladas at the pool were $16 each. That’s crazy. The room was already $350/night

NO OCEAN VIEW
This is not partial ocean view, its right off the street and is a 10 min. walk to the beach.Your view in the room will be tree's and the house directly 10 feet in front of your balcony. When we told the receptionist she acted confused that we could not see the ocean from our room and carried on with our resort fee payment even with it being winter and everything was closed. She even said she wanted to waive it but management would not allow her to. I would stay elsewhere based on the fact they are deceiving of property of details. They also gave us the wrong code and we got locked out of our room. To many amazing choices around the area to stay right off the road with lack of attention to details. Grab a slice of the best Pizza on A30 at Bruno's the place next door and keep driving.

Everything was great until check out when I discovered how many added fees they were. why not just tell the people how much it's gonna cost on the front and bottom line . When you try to hide things it only makes people angry I will never rent from Expedia again .

WaterSound 1 bedroom condo in the gatehouse (directly above the gate leading to the homes closer to the beach. Well kept property and really neat layout of the condo. Fitness center was nice though 24 hour access would have made it better.

Beautiful accommodations! Gorgeous grounds! Needed a little deep cleaning, but I am very picky. Close to beach and neighborhood pools. Watersound may be my new favorite area, less busy than Watercolor and Seaside, yet just as beautiful. Charles at the restaurant makes the very best mojito you will ever have!

Great Family vacation rental.
Basically this property is a vacation home community where they offer several condos for rent. We stayed here with our two toddler kids. The rooms are very nice. Well kept, open, clean, modern and equipped with all the amentities a family on vacation would need. (Washer /dryer is very nice after beach)..we were very pleased with room, perfect for us! The best part about this property is the beach club house. We loved the amentities and very nice staff. The beautiful pool area connects to fantastic beach through a nice boardwalk. Very well organized with pool and beach staff helping. They alos held little pool side BBQ cookouts that were fun. The pool was never to crowded. I have nothing bad to say at all, maybe only negative is that property is a little isolated and located 5-15 minute driving distance from Seaside restaurants and do'nt expect the \"resort/hotel\" warm fuzzy hospitality charm, as this is not that kind of place. We would definitely come back.

My family of five enjoyed a wonderful week at Watersound in this two bedroom condo at Compass Point I. There is no housekeeping service, but with an in room washer/dryer and kitchen this was fine. Lots of closet/drawer space allows for unpacking and settling in. The Beach Club access was very important to us. Their pool, restaurant and umbrella/chairs on the beach really enhanced our overall enjoyment. Watersound is a wonderful beach destination. We will be back!

Relaxing Vacation
We were looking for a relaxing weekend for the 4th of July. Sometimes in the Destin area that can be challenging. WaterSound provided just what we were looking for. The beach was not over crowded. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was very spacious and comfortable. We will be planning a trip back.

The Watersound is a great place to stay. The location was great, only 5 minutes from Seaside and a leas than 15 minute drive to the Panama City Pier. The kids enjoyed riding their bikes along 30A. This location also has beach access.
