Room was not clean at check in time had to call owner. Not enough dish cloths in kitchen. Pool always locked on inside had to find a worker to unlock inside to enter from outside. Very noisy upstairs and a dog barking late at night. Pay to park?? Ridiculous

The location of the condo is perfect for families. The elevators were super fast with no wait! But the beds were awful. So bad some of my group slept on the couch. There was mold/mildew around the window and on the air vent. The cleaner was still there at check in shampooing our couch and chairs so we didn’t have anywhere to sit for like 2 hours without being soaking wet. The pillows were really dirty when I took pillowcases off. I wouldn’t mind staying at the celadon again but definitely not this room!

Unit was nice and very clean. Our WiFi went out so it was difficult for us to work, they did respond to our request and had it fixed the next day. Frustrating that there were no coffee filters, we brought coffee but they had no basic essentials. We had a friend that wanted to come hang out at the beach with us one day, but there is no guest parking and had to pay $45 for the day. Also the clanking of pipes drove me crazy, I think we figured out that it was the elevators. If you’re wanting quiet, this is not the property for you.

Its was a nice condo clean very rooming but people still live on old days is how I'm going to state it because kids dont know no better from color and on our stay a lady came in our room did not knock but bust in our door to say that our check out time was a day before we had to check out I ask her was she the maid to clean the room she ask was I so I ask was it her condo she then said she was the overseer of the room and really wasn't comfortable at all after that .

Great beach stay

Stayed in room 1505. It was a center room with a long balcony over looking the beautiful gulf waters. It wasn’t lavish, but what I was expecting for a beach condo. Simple and easy to clean. We were going to have a late check in and they called us about 4:00 pm and texted us the access code, so we went straight to the room. Only issue we had was the next morning (Saturday) we were to check in before noon, and the office didn’t open until after 10:00 am, so we were limited on what we could do. Also, we didn’t find out until we checked in that you had to pay $20 to park and have a printed parking pass. I didn’t mind the cost, I just wish we had been given the website earlier where I could have printed the pass at home. Overall, wonderful stay and would stay again.

There was no one at the front desk at 7 pm when we arrived. we had to call a number to find a hidden envelop with our room code in it.. The next morning while we were at the beach the locked us out of the room so we had to come to front desk to check in again and get a permanent code.

Office was closed, although iy was not after hours check-in. Note said package would be in lock box with room info . . . no packet. Office is pretty much useless. Wi-Fi was terrible. That's the bad, we enjoyed everything else. View was great, room comfortable and spacious except for the couch. Arm rests were very hard.

Great family resort.

Great place, decent location if you want to be further down from the touristy stuff, check in was a bit of a nuisance as there was no one there until our third day in. We needed to check in via after hours, our unit code expired daily until we could properly be assisted by their front desk. Overall I recommend this place as a great family resort.

Overall it was good.The location was GREAT right on the beach and withing walking distance from restaurants and other stores.The pier park was 10 min driving distance from our location.However we had some issues.We checked in on thanksgiving day and due to the holiday the front office was closed, There were instruction on the door on how to check in, but the instructions left were not very clear when it came to parking and wifi. We had to call a number to get the codes to access the room,such we did no problem but it looked like the parking instruction were confusing in the system too because it took 5 people to figure out where and how we should park.The access codes change everyday so you either have to call back or go to the front office to get new codes.That was not noted in the instructions and we got locked out a couple of times, a little frustrating I would say,specially if you are coming back after a long day and cannot wait to get in and rest.When I called they told me that they do that so the guests can check in with the front office BUT the office was under the holiday schedule so it was closed on the black Friday too so how was I suppose to do that?It beats me. I think it wasn't well thought in general about how to make it easier on the guests if front office is closed.The system that they have is a little confusing and lead to a lot of frustration since I feel like I spent a good chunk of my time on the phone with them trying to figure things out.

Beautiful views... quiet... lovely beach!

We enjoyed our getaway with minimal issues. We loved the view and the beach. We reported the DVD player wasnt working and the bathroom drain was broken on our 2nd day and they stated maintenance would come however they never did. The pillows were very flat however the bed was comfortable! Beach chairs were difficult being placed to very active and loud people after requesting quiet with the back row almost all open weren’t allowed to choose seating?????

Awful! Don't waste your money!

Absolutely a disgrace to the Wyndham name. The bedding was so stained we didn't want to sleep there, but after numerous phone calls to their after hour line, we received no help.
Then there was the half used bars of body soap left in the shower. And the ice machine barely working and when it did work there was mold on the ice. We opted for the bunk bed room for our daughters and the lower bunk was covered in used gum. And then I found a disgusting crusty men's shirt left in the master bedroom, between the nightstand and bed.

Great location, right on the beach

We were in United 2208 - 22nd floor. We realized this was a bit too high for us, although the view was amazing. The unit was fine, but do wish the owners would invest in a new mattress in the master suite - very lumpy. Unit in decent shape, but in need of a fresh coat of paint.
Everything was in good working order, would definitely stay again.

Very nice place. You have to pay for parking. Rates listed are deceiving, kind of like flights used to be. The service fee to the owner & such is just as much or more than the room! So what started out as $99 per night, ended up being $188 per night. THAT is deceiving.

Beautiful Celadon

Joe and I took my 87 year old Mom, and my 95 year old Stepdad, to Panama City for a vacation that otherwise they would not get. the Celadon is right on the gulf, and our view was spectacular! To get to the beach, you literally got on the elevator (we were on the 22nd floor!), rode it down to the beach level, and you were at the beach. We also enjoyed the pool and the hot tub at the Celadon. Our condo was clean; beautiful; comfortable; and just plain relaxing! Everything you need is there (dishes; pots and pans; coffee machine; washer and dryer; luxurious towels... Joy

Outdated relaxation at a great price

I booked through hotels.com and chose Celadon because of the great deal. Overall, a pleasant experience. The view of the beach was great and the condo was spacious and clean. Access to the beach was super convenient and the pools and hot tubs were well maintained. With that being said, the particular unit in which we stayed was a little subpar. Needed painting badly. Carpets needed replacing. Mattresses were very uncomfortable... very hard. Some of the furniture was beginning to fray. Was decorated like a 1996 Kirkland's ad.... lots of plastic plants which had begun to break down and smell of petroleum. There were no instructions for wifi if any was avialabale for that unit, but I was luckily able to find an open network in the building to use. It appeared that unit has been rented for sometime with not much cosmetic upkeep over the years. Furniture on the balcony was minimal and aged. I had to reassemble the table in order for it to even sit on all four legs. I would definitely return to Celadon, however, I would not stay in 908 again.

Beautiful condo directly on the beach

The Wyndam Celadon is a very nice facility directly on the beautiful white sand beach of Panama City Beach. The location is at the far west end of the Panama City Beach hi rise condos and is somewhat away from the center of all the activities. We think this location is better than being \"in the center of all action.\" The building maintenance workers were friendly and always greeted you with a big smile and a hello. The beach workers (kids really) seemed slightly dazed and confused about their jobs. From one day to the next they did not seem to know how the beach chairs and umbrella assignments were supposed to be handled. During the week we learned that one of the beach \"workers\" was not an actual employee. She was just there helping her boyfriend and was not very helpful. The office workers were also not very helpful. We could not figure out how to get on the internet from our room. When we requested help from the person on duty in the office, they were no help and claimed to know nothing about the wireless internet service. Later we came to learn that the wireless service for our room was not the one listed on the information provided to us at check in. We figured out on our own that the wireless system we could log onto with our assigned password was the one related to our room number, not the one listed on the check-in information. Over all, this is a great place to stay, but don't expect too much from the staff. Just remember it is a condo, not a luxury hotel.

Great Beach Spot at the west end of PCB

Nice check-in procedure, parking across the street seamless, facilities included tennis court, 2 swimming pools and incidental hot tubs, beach chairs and umbrellas easily accessed with friendly staff to assist. Staff we interacted with were very pleasant and friendly. In the unit, no TV's worked, didn't bother to call maintenance because we didn't care but they should have been working. Would have been nice to have more than 2 rolls of toilet paper for 2 full bathrooms. Kitchen adequately stocked. Liked the 6th floor balcony and the beach day and night was fantastic. Didn't like the fact that we were at PCB for graduation (FSU) and it was \"bike week\". I wouldn't schedule bike week on the same week we honor graduates and post graduates but maybe seeing that will give the new graduates incentives...of course, the condo had nothing to do with that but a fair warning from someone might have persuaded us to skip the city altogether.

Fall break getaway with grandkids

Very nice condo. Tv's could use upgrade. Nice stay. Had one problem with power outage which was not a fault of the Celadon but being after 5 pm was difficult to contact anyone. The after hours number on the office entrance when reached asked to leave a message but the mailbox was full. The emergency number on the info package we received at check in reached someone who quickly saw to the problem and let us know the status of correcting the problem, which involved power company. Overall good stay.

The Celadon Beach Resort was perfect for my family and I. It was clean, family friendly, just close enough, yet far enough from the hustle of the pier. I am however, not as pleased with hotels.com. I tried to price match with their price match guarantee, sent 2 screen shots of lower rates, and wouldn't get any response until days later stating that they could not verify the prices. This was very frustrating to me. Of course after waiting days the price is going to change, and they completely disregarded the screenshots.

Vacation paradise without leaving the States

A very nice, well maintained facility. The room was very comfortable, the staff was very professional and friendly. We especially appreciated the office staff and the young man who set out the beach chair cushions and umbrellas. We had spent the previous week nearby with family in a nearby condominium. We had food and perishables that we wanted to move to our new lodging, but there was a 5 hour gap between checking out of the old and checking into the new. The staff accommodated us flawlessly. This is a very well run facility with on-site staff that is intelligent and good at problem solving. We would definitely go back to this facility.

Very Pleasant Experience

PROS: Gorgeous views from the 22nd floor. Right on the Beach.
Tastefully decorated. 2 nice ceiling fans, it wasn't hot in Fl. yet, so we just kept the fans on for air circulation, hardly needed the A/C. Flat screen TV in living room, older model in Mbr. Nice bar set for dining on the balcony.
Located on quiet West End of the beach. There was a Harley bike thunder beach rally for that week. Apparently it was their 17th year, but no big deal, hotel located far enough away from all the engine roars.
CONS: Empty soda bottle & used bar of soap left in the hallway shower stall. Seems like the $105 cleaning fee they charged should have provided a lil more attention to details. The cleaning fee was not charged until checking out. We thought it was a lil high. The tile floors were clean. But I wiped them down as soon as I got there.
Maybe provide a box of kleenex. MBR Needs another Bedside table lamp. There were 3 table lamps in the living room. Maybe move one in to the MBR?
overall, very pleasant experience, will definitely recommend it to friends.

Clean rooms. Helpful staff. Parking, unloading and loading across the street was a bit inconvenient. Old box T.V.'s and no movie channels were unexpected. Furnishings were in need of care or replacement. Pillows were pancake flat. Cheaply stocked kitchen. My thought on the price is that it was overpriced by at least $50 a night after the additional $75 a night fee was added. I suppose the hidden cost is for the use of beach chairs and DVD accessibility. P.S. Try and avoid the hokey beach/tourist restaurants. Expensive and food....blahh, boring. Try asking a grocery store clerk where they go, they live there. Or fall back on a favorite chains. Many can be found at or near Pier Park.

The condo was very basic in appearance but served its purpose. We were in room 807 so decently high up. It had all the amenities you would expect from a condo, but certainly wasn't great decoration. It looked a little \"sad\" and in need of a makeover.

wonderful condominium on the beach

The apartment was spacious and furnished very nicely. It was immaculate and offered everything one would want. It would have been a plus if there was a lobby area that offered beverages (morning coffee) and snacks to purchase in addition to the full kitchen facilities in the unit. When visitors are only coming for a few days, one doesn't necessarily want to purchase coffee, filters, etc. This is only suggestion, not a criticism. We did not use the private bunk room or the sofa bed but certainly there was room for 4 more guests in addition to the 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. I highly recommend The Celedon in Panama City Beach, Florida.

I didn't have any problems checking in as some of the reviewers said. Our room was ready, there were plenty of baggage carts available, elevator wait wasn't bad at all. We had a 2bdrmn, very spacious.
My biggest problem with this place were beds. Mattresses were really bad, squeaky and hard, my back was hurting by the morning, not something you expect on your vacation. Sofa mattress was almost non existent and sheets on bunk beds were dirty.
Would consider finding some other place before this 1

Nice condo at the beach

Nice clean condo on the 7th floor. ALL condos are seafront facing with a balcony, which is nice. Spacious, two TVs, full kitchen, 2 baths, one MBR plus two bunk beds for the hallway (only good for kids). Two pools, small, but ok. Jacuzzi outdoor. BBQ possible but no seating area so you have to take your grilled stuff back upstairs. Direct access to beach with guaranteed umbrella and beach beds. Jetski and Hobie rental right there. Carpet and sofas are a bit smelly, but that's normal because of the humidity. Only way to avoid that would be leather sofas and floor tiles, which is in fact what I would do. Free, safe parking in the shade. 5 minute drive to pier and main shopping, entertainment area, but there is a convenience store in walking distance.
Overall: good experience. I will try Destin, FL next, but in PCB this is a good choice.

Front desk had a very poor attitude and didn't seem to appreciate the customer needing help. Had no electricity in the master bedroom nor did the blow dryer work in the bathroom. Washer was broke and required maintenance and had someone else's dirty linens left in it. The beds were completely worn out and seemed as if we were staying in a one star hotel. Have never slept on a more uncomfortable surface. Your beach employees always attempted to shut down the umbrellas and chairs early. Why have them there at 8 AM in the morning when no one is on the beach. Why not try to start them later and shutting down the chairs later?

The hotel is close enough to drive to pier park and other attractions, yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be peaceful. We checked in at 2 AM, and I was nervous about everything running smoothly because of the late check-in. Much to my happiness, chicken was a breeze!

The only thing is that there were no blankets to make up the sleeper sofa, just two sheets and two pillow cases. I was told I would receive some blankets but never did. I would recommend bringing your own blankets for your own comfort. Overall, we were very pleased with out stay and the condition of the room. We would definately recommend Celadon to anyone asking.

No frills and NO RECEPTION

The hotel does NOT have a reception area- just a one employee desk with a less than welcoming older woman who is very matter of fact. The lounge chairs that come with the condo are only TWO, even though the condo sleeps SIX. The beach guy is very nice and the condo was clean and well furnished. Other than the lack of reception area and concierge and the lukewarm welcome it was a nice stay.

Quiet Hotel with beautiful beach view

I recently stayed at the Celadon for 4 nights. The hotel is right on the beach with beautiful views!
Upon arrival the lady at the front desk was not welcoming. In fact, she seemed annoyed to have to answer any questions we had. Unfortunately, the staff on following days were just as rude making it uncomfortable to ask any questions.
The room itself was very clean. The bed was comfortable, which for me is the biggest thing besides being quite (which it was as well)
On the downside the room had many things that needed to be fixed including: 10 burnt out light bulbs (there was not a functioning light in the bedroom so we had to take a light bulb from the living area) The ice machine on the refrigerator was broken, remote controls were missing batteries, the wifi did not work along with the ethernet cord in the room.
Overall, I would stay here again, just wish staff would be friendly.

Nice room, decent location

We arrived at the hotel and were very pleased with the decor and \"beachy\" atmosphere. It seems to be decently well kept as there were only minor issues with our room. The closet door wouldn't stay in the track when opened. (Minor) There were a few items left under the couch from the last visitors. (Minor) and I guess the worst thing about the room was that there wasn't a lock at the top of the front door and the deadbolt unlocked every time my toddler pulled the handle down. (Safety is a little more than minor, but it wasn't an issue for us because we were constantly supervising our child. But could potentially be a huge issue for parents of multiple children.) Overall, we were very happy with our visit!!!

This was nice vacation time for me and mi kids. I wish the hotel had a fun pool with splash for kids. The hotel does not have restaurant and rooms beds look new but they are really hard and noise,we could sleep twell. I asked from desk to change my pillows and they said they can't , also TV are from the 90's. If they improve beds an have a small restaurant the hotel could be nice because rooms are big and clean kitchen also are nice.

One complaint that we had was staff came in at 3 am and when we called to complain they said all staff leaves at 5pm .... I am not sure who brought the dish soap and toiletries and who would have left the bag then....

Excellent location . Our room needed some maintenance .
Some \" rules\" not explained like reserving your beach chair . The young man actually moved me after I had settled in to a relaxing day at the beach . Would like these things explained ahead of time .
Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The guest rep at the desk wasn't pleasant, she needs to retire. The other staff was great! The system says free wifi( not ). In order to get this you had to be in their lobby between 9-5(I wanted to enjoy the sun). Very clean, just wasn't what I expected!

Perfect chill hotel

Nice hotel directly at the beach! Most of the guests are fairly old (I believe most of the rooms are 25 and over only), therefore it is pretty quiet.

If you are staying here for the spring break party; expect to take about a 20 USD taxi ride to the popular places.

Spring Break 2014

Overall a great place to stay if you want to stay away from all of the parties. The condo was well appointed and everything was functioning. Great view and clean beach.
