Lending closet was new to us. I'm not sure if other items other than books can be left for use.

Everything was amazing. The room was clean. The staff was very helpful

Although we just stayed one night, we got a good impression of the hotel. Our room was very clean and spacious. The bed and pillows were comfy. Had a coffee pot in the room but liked being able to go down stairs and get a fresh ground cup of coffee whenever I wanted to for free! Snacks for a fee were available too. The location is not on the beach but it isn't far and was close to many other places including Pier Park. Would stay here again!

Free laundry, clean pool, would need a skillet and something to air fry or bake with.
Brance
Good location. Facilties good value for money. Clean room quiet. Would stay again

Laundry was a great bonus!
It seems there is no cold running water, mentioned to staff but was never responded to.
Bed sheets kept pulling up after just sitting on the bed, bigger size would be more convenient. Nasty cobweb corner that hasn’t been cleaned in years but we tried not looking at it lol.
No cleaning service unless you stay for 7 days but we were brought extra towels.

After making reservations 6 months in advance we got to the property and the employee couldn't find our reservation, even though they charged my Amex over $1100.00 the day before.. We had to rebook with another hotel last minute...We flew in from California....Candalwood suites stranded us without an explanation...Very poor customer service!
Bobbi
Decent sized room. Friendly staff.
Clint
Great stay !

The room we had was not cleaned well. I don’t believe hotels really deep clean their rooms anymore. Floors in bathrooms were horrible. Behind the beds were dusty. Hotels shouldn’t have rooms deep cleaned at-least twice a month to keep them up.

Ill start with the positive. When checking in the young man was friendly, smiling and informative. I had a 10lb dog, the website said pets were okay. He changed the room that was originally assigned. I would assume because of the dog. Understandable. I unloaded and went to the room. Room looked okay. Nothing special to make you want to come back. Kitchen did have anything you would need to make a meal, coffee, etc. Noticed carpet in the bed area. Putting my things away and I got something on my feet. It was sand spurs. I am assuming the room was vaccuumed, sand spurs have to be picked out of the carpet. Carpet, beach town, sand, might want to rethink that. Also noticed the tiled floor had a lot of debris. Kitchen, bathroom and bed seemed clean. Water was nice and hot. Used the reclining chair, then the stool wouldn't go back. Had to push it very hard to get it to stay. There was a sign on the fridge saying if you would like ice just turn on the ice machine. Turned on and left all night, no ice. In the afternoon, went to the front to just ask if they had an ice machine so I could get some ice. The person in charge said the ice machine does work. I explained I did turn it on. She then offered a maintenance person, I declined and said y'all can check it when I leave. The outside area to walk your pet is completely covered in sand spurs. My dog was covered and lifting his paws because they were painful. It was pretty quiet and the bed comfortable. I will not stay again

As always, it was a great experience. The location is super convenient to everything, the room was clean, and it was ready right on time at check-in. I’ll definitely be back again!

Good option for staying a few days in PCB. Near everything. Room was very spacious and had everything needed for a longer stay( stove, fridge, cookware, dishwasher). Very good value for the price paid. Definitively satying again
DOUGLAS
Nice room, comfortable bed, i appreciated the grab bar in the tub/shower and provided body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Garshian was particularly pleasant and helpful at the front desk. The hotel is convenient to the beach and many restaurants. Would stay again.
Kelly
The room was spotless and very spacious. I loved my stay!

First entry, keys did not work. WiFi did not work. I was told “it’s sometimes hard to get it on your computer. TVs are not smart TVs for streaming. Large bleach stains in hallways.
Kelly
Room was good, however upon check in that was supposed to be at 4pm, i got to hotel around 406 and was told room wasnt ready. They asked to give them 20 mins. They didnt give me my room till almost 5pm. I asked them to hurry b.c i had somewhere to be at 5pm. I was late to my event. Contacted about discount for late check in and havent heard anything. I have never had an issue with candlewood. I perfer to stay with them. If they will continue to do this, i will find somewhere else

Room was clean and the staff was EXTREMELY FRIENDLY!!

No. They left a garbage disposal in the sink and the pipes were all disconnected. Come to find out we should have not been given that room. I was already unpacked. The next day they gave us another room so i had to pack up and move. Im still waiting for a credit for one night. Also i dont know when the last time the rugs have been cleaned. Our feet were to dirty.
Terry
Bad from the start. Upon arrival the room we chose, a King handicap room with roll in shower was not available. The girl at the desk offered another handicap accessible room. We accepted. When we went to the room it was a queen room. I went back to the desk and she argued that it was a king room until I took her to it. She then gave us another king room. We needed a room so we accepted. After we had already unloaded all our stuff for a 4 day stay we realized more issues. The carpet was real dirty, the light over the cooktop didn't work, the coffee maker was only 1 cup with 1 coffee packet. We asked for 2 more pillows and that was like getting through Fort Knox. The towels were crispy critters and they would only give us towels for 1 day at a time.
The girl at the desk told me that when scheduling with a third party they do not clarify a specific room type. My reservation did say roll in Shower (Mobility Accessible). Also take note of the dates that she put on my reservation when she gave me the room. The dates reflect a day earlier check in and a day earlier check-out. With that being said our keys got turned off a day early and we had to get them re-done. With all that, tell me why I would want to book another room at the Candlewood Suites. I believe I need at least half of my stay refunded.

The room was clean. The staff was great and very helpful.
Michael
Staff wasn't friendly and room was not stocked properly with towels . When asking for a shower curtain for a handicapped shower was told one was not available. This created a very slick bathroom floor for a disabled guest.
Matt
Front desk staff lady was in an argument with anothier customer. Over a new blanket and sheet for a bed. The lady ended up having to call her manager. Staff just wasnt very accomadating. My keys to room didn't work.
Terri
Everything was clean and good. Only disappointment was lobby coffee dispenser did not work.
Dana
We had a wonderful stay. The property is located right off 98 and 10 minutes away from the Gulf. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was so updated and clean.

Very nice would stay again. Would probably take out the carpet in the rooms. Holds sand from the beach makes your feet dirty other then that. Really nice stay
Virginia
Loved the suite , very comfortable.
Brandon
Very comfortable
James
Our room smelled a little musty, the hotel is pet friendly and I think it was how the room was cleaned after a dog. If you can request a pet free room I would give it all 5 stars
Myra
Four night stay
The only thing we did not like is the rooms are only fully cleaned by staff on stays seven days or longer. We had to ask for clean towels several times and twice we were told there weren’t any available at that time and would be brought to our room later but weren’t. The kitchenette was fully stocked. Bed was comfortable. Free laundry service was excellent. Location is perfect… literally five minutes from the beach and close to shopping and other activities.

Room was very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Enjoyed the stay will be back for sure!

Front desk and Housekeeping staff were all super nice and helpful!
Lizzie
The night customer service guy was rude and wouldn't allow us to check in although our room was paid for in advance. Said we had to go through hotels.com for a refund. We were traveling for a couple's trip and almost didn't have a place to stay because we drove 3 hours to stay there.
Jay
There were couple of big dead roaches laying around in the middle of the room.
Joshua

It was good, could use a more thorough cleaning like in the bathrooms, tubs, and floors. My husband and I cleaned it good to our liking. Other than that our stay was excellent friendly staff and good location.
Krystle
There was roaches in the hotel. They only clean your room after a 7 day stay. The location says 7 mins walk to beach but it is actually more like a drive to the beach or any local attractions. You are in a trucker stop area, not really walkable but a very close drive to local attractions like pier park etc
MarKeith
Friendly staff and comfortable and clean rooms
Kenneth
It was a great experience
Joey
The location was perfect. Convenient to beach, restaurants, and stores for shopping. The staff were nice. Rianna gave exceptional customer service…

We did not experience the food portion. The book the bed was very comfortable. I do love the small kitchen that was provided. If we were there for a longer day, it would have been great.
Eric
I was very pleased with our accomodations. The place, including the room and property, were both very clean and in order. Convenient
Verified traveler
Poor carpets condition of common areas. Stained dirty recliner in room; sheets on bed had hair. Vastly different climates in different areas of hotel. Etc etc
Celina
Perfect and price was affordable!!
