Hotel is perfectly located on the beach. Rooms and hotel common areas were clean and smelled great. Complimentary breakfast was outstanding.
Our only complaint and the reason we gave this hotel 3 stars is the apparent attempt to save money and purchase subpar a/c units. First night our room a/c was not cooling, maintenance came up and fixed it. Second night foul smell of burnt plastic in our room and a/c, again, was not working. There were no rooms available so we had to sleep in our room with box fans, very uncomfortable!

The pictures look great on line. In person the dust is so disgusting on those floating fish in the lobby. The windows in the lobby were so dirty you could not see out of them. Try to sit outside up top chairs dirty with food and tables never wiped. Front desk staff very rude and non professional. Room service states every 2 nights in the room. Room service was non existent it felt like. If you can I would recommend staying somewhere else on the beach.

Had a great stay, all my questions were answered at check-in, my family and I were able to enjoy the walk in pool and hot tub as well as the bar by the pool. Breakfast was great. Clean and pet and family friendly beachfront views and met everything on my checklist.

The view was beautiful as we had the gulf to look at.

Awesome trip! Large room, amazing views!! Quick check in! Private balcony but the smell of cigarette from one of the other balconies was overwhelming at times! We had an issue with the toilet leaking and they came right away to try and sort it out. The small refrigerator does not keep food cold! Take a cooler! No microwave. And they need a larger coffee pot. There is a wait for an elevator and they have 3! You also have to use your key card to use the elevator to go anywhere! At Coconut Charlie’s, Breakfast was ok, French toast was dry, fruit had no flavor. And no tops for cups or trays to take upstairs! We also ordered lunch and had to go to the pool bar area to pick it up! We had to wait for them to bring it there instead of just getting at their bar! And was too hard, no flavor. A little pricey! And there was No variety from the 3 days we were there. The rooms are very quiet. The carts for luggage are too small, we had to make 2 trips. Parking is across the street and not free! Nice pool area and hot tub. Close beach access. Circle drive to load and unload! Staff was very professional and friendly! So our trip was not perfect! Will go back to try it again!

We loved our stay, the location of the hotel is convenient to all the parts of town, pier park, Sharky’s, walmart. Hotel was clean and orderly. The hotel staff was very helpful, but here were some flaws we encountered - one elevator was down the entire time and the lines were incredibly long to get on the elevator, about 10-15 minutes added to going up or down. We ended up riding the elevator down to go up, and up to go down tired of waiting. The ice machine was down on our floor, however they had complimentary ice at the service desk and were able to fill our small box with ice for the beach. The lines and finding seating at breakfast were a thing, but if early enough, it wasn’t so bad. We booked a king suite with over 600sqft and a seperate bedroom and kitchen, for the entire place they had one 2 gal trash can. I noticed other guests leaving shopping bags, gift bags, and trash parcels of whatever else they could find in the hotel hallways because the trash cans were way too small and overflowing in rooms, like ours, traveling with small children. Hotel was very family friendly, the kids loved the pool and lazy river. A couple of the features by the pool never opened, only coconut Charlie’s poolside bar, which was decent. Overall, I would stay there again.

I was so happy I booked my night at this Hyatt. I had July 3rd off and thought if you have a day off, might as well spend the day somewhere that has almost everything.
Beautful suite with ocean view 9th floor. spacious balcony to soak it all in.
Awesome pool with a lazy river and the ability to take a walk on the beach when you get bored of the pool. Beautful white sandy beach huddled in the Florid panhandle. I'll be back

This Hyatt in Panama City Beach was very different. The Hyatt that we are used to they go above and beyond to make sure that their guests have a nice stay. This Hyatt the front desk staff were not as welcoming. Some of them were rude!
We arrived an hour before check in. Instead, of taking my suitcases and making us feel welcome. The staff turned us away telling us they were not ready for us. The guy at the front desk was miserable and rude. We don’t expect to pay all this money and you disrespecting us. He said, he will text us when they are ready. We went to eat came back and this is when we met Ruby he was very nice. He told us how sorry he was and we told him how disappointed we were with this Hyatt already and we just got there. We told them we were there to celebrate my husband big accomplishment and getting his Doctorate. We requested ahead of time that they put us on the second floor because of my husband fear of heights they ignored us in put us on the 4th floor. We could enjoy our stay because my husband was so scared to go out. We hate going to breakfast, there’s not enough chairs to sit down. There’s not enough chairs to sit by the pool. Parking across the street was a problem for me who just had a knee replacement we could tell making your guests feel welcome is not a priority in this Hyatt Hotel and it is sad. We only met two nice people during our stay Ruby and Willam. That is so sad! I will not go back!!!

For the price the room is one of the smaller Hyatt rooms we have stayed in. It’s its 2 people your great but with kids it’s gets smaller by the second. Breakfast was okay but things go quick and when it gets to being your turn majority of items are gone. Parking is $20 a day in addition to taxes with limited parking spaces. If they could do anything more it would be to add a few more microwaves since a lot of people are heating up food. The restaurant inside is great and if I could do anything different I would avoid going out and just eat here since the quality and service is great.

Very disappointing stay on so many fronts.
First- paying $550 for ocean front high floor room. Booked thru hotels.com because rate was better. Our only positive was our check in with Bobby - fantastic.
Room was WET-mirrors were foggy and dripping with moisture , floors wet and slippery, all linens and couch damp. We were told it cools when you are in it and turns off when you leave. Room had peeling paint from moisture on ceiling.
Coconut Charlie’s had no”glasses” only plastic for drinks and “out of so much” per bartender. Out of our 1st 3 choices. Who wants a martini served in a plastic glass? We left.
After a dinner out, the temp in room was still 76 after setting it at 67 hoping to dry the room.
AC would turn on for 2 min and was so loud then shut off. Suffered thru a miserable night with no AC. Woke up to temps in 80’s
Reported issue at front desk and they offered nothing to compensate us for miserable nights stay. However did offer to send a tech.
Coffee at the “supposed” Starbucks- they had no drip coffee OR SUGAR!
Coffee attendant was the guest services mgr and also handling the front desk. Clearly staffing an issue to not even have a dedicated coffee attendant.
Same guest services mgr offered ZERO apology for our experience and no minimal compensation or credit.
I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and as a World of Hyatt member- save your money and go elsewhere.
Skip PCB location. Horrible experience overall. If I could rate it a negative number- I would!

This was my second stay at Hyatt Panama, and unfortunately my experience this year was very disappointing compared to my previous visit.

Considering the price paid, the room was very average and the services provided were quite poor. The breakfast quality was below expectations, and many basic items ran out with not enough food available for the number of guests.

I was also surprised to find out this year that parking was not included and required an additional fee. This was not clearly mentioned when I made my reservation. In addition, the beach umbrellas and chairs were also charged separately and were not included in the stay.

Overall, I do not believe this hotel offers good value for the money. The level of service does not justify the high cost, and unfortunately I would not choose to stay here again.

I loved my stay here. That staff were seriously amazing and went above and beyond for me and my wife during our stay. The view was beautiful and the food/pool/amenities were all top notch. We did have an issue with the AC in our room which made the hot, humid nights pretty rough though. Maintenance was informed (no fix though) but it seemed like I didn’t advocate enough for myself. Otherwise, would recommend!

I wish the parking was free since we paid about 2,000 dollars. Also don’t understand why we have to pay $100 fee check in and a $100 check out since we already paid so much. But hotel was clean and comfy. Pool was nice, wish it was abit deeper. Staffs were sweet. But it’s kind of like everytime I breathe, they charge me for every single thing.

We had a great experience. Our first room had AC problems, but maintenance showed up super quick. He went through their troubleshooting process and unfortunately couldn’t fix the AC for that room, but they did get us moved into another room immediately. The rooms were spacious and super clean. The pool was awesome, especially for rainy beach days. Zero complaints. Would def recommend and come back!

The free breakfast is yummy, the King Suite is very spacious with an amazing view. The beds and pillows were comfy. The pool is great with areas of sun and shade. The pool bar staff are super friendly and make yummy drinks. The restaurant food is delicious and not over priced. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would love to come stay here again. The place is beautiful and clean ❤️

The location of the hotel was on a horrible traffic intersection. Very crowded road to hotel each night. When we arrived the room was delayed by 30 minutes. When I booked the room it read that towels and loungers at the Oceanside were provided. Upon arrival I was told that the loungers and umbrella were a 60.00 charge per day. When I complained the hotel did provide me with $60 worth of gift cards which helped. We ended up buying a beach chair to use while we were there to help with the cost as well but had to leave that behind when we left. The food wasn’t too bad at the restaurant. The room floors were sandy and the bathroom shower head dripped constantly in our room which was noisy. The TV didn’t work well very limited stations but my husband got the Roku stick to work on his own. Hotel staff didn’t have a clue. The employees were nice at the front desk.

My main concern was that the door in our room to the balcony bottom latch did not work and I have a 8 year old on the 6th floor. The AC leaves alot to be desired it doesn't work very well, room gets hot and humid. Also wish the beach chairs and umbrellas were still included in stay, there an extra $50 per day. Everything else was excellent.

Second time at this Hyat Place on the beach! Outstanding location, very clean, very well organized with great personal and a very convenient parking. Breakfast was great and you full of energy for at list half day to enjoy the beach without being worried about going to lunch early.
Visiting with our 12th year old granddaughter. Front desk people very friendly that gave to her some free drinks after sharing few minutes of conversation made her day!

Very clean, friendly staff with absolutely amazing views from the 11th floor! The breakfast was top notch and well organized. Only con I had was seafood at restaurants was frozen not fresh and over fried. Tasted like Gordon’s frozen fish products for market price. Restaurant manager did noticed I picked at my food and gave a discount. So I can’t complain but customer service at all.
