The hotel was okay but the property looked older, like renovations or upgrading to the building or rooms hadn't happened much since the 90s, the beds and the furniture had been upgraded, and admittedly the bed was comfortable, but the TV was limited and didn't function well. Honestly, it was giving extended stay motel but the few patrons we talked to were very very friendly.

We didn't interact with a single staff member the entire time we were there besides when I checked in but that wasn't a turn off for us. The beach access was awesome and the pool was alright. The floaties were a nice touch for my daughter. I just wish there was a ramp access to the beach for a wagon or stroller. Overall, not s horrible

We were in PCB for work. The room we had was quiet, which was helpful. We paid for a room with a full kitchen, but got a microwave and a refrigerator. That's okay, we can deal with that. The room we had was facing the ocean, and that was very nice. There were two of us in the room, but there was only one chair available on our little patio. When I first checked into the room, it was not set up like other rooms, not ours. All the curtains were open, so I could tell that towels were set up on the bed in other rooms. We had a roll of toilet paper, still in the wrapper, sitting in the bathroom, but nothing on the actual toilet paper dispenser. There was no soap at the sink. The front desk staff was very belligerant when I went to ask what the internet password was, and I was told to \"look at your room key. It's written on there.\" When I showed her my room key and asked where it was written, she admitted that it was not written on the key folder. In general, the staff was not pleasant during every interaction I had with them. The grounds are not well kept up. Check out time is 10:00 am, which is quite early for other hotels. I received a text stating that I could just respond to the text and leave the keys in our room if I wanted to check out that way. I said I would do that. At 10:00 am, someone came around to make sure that we had left. I do not appreciate the lack of trust that we were shown. The room was fine, but the attitude of the staff needs to change.

Staff had an attitude everytime I went into the office, room was filthy, floors looked like they haven’t been swept or mopped and they wouldn’t give me a broom, the bathroom door was GONE, the sheets had stains and the room smelled musty, the patio was nasty, the pool area was not clean. Do not recommend this hotel at all.

The overall picture of the facility it’s very poor and not well maintained
The cleanliness is horrible ; zero attention to details
The bathroom in general was not clean …mold and unclean surfaces everywhere.
This place needs a serious wakeup call.
The worst impression of the hotel was when checking in; as I was about to check in , the hotel employee was arguing w a customer over cleanliness and roaches found in his room

Poolside seating was fine!
Unfortunately I had to have my room sprayed for roaches. I had both a cockroach and and a huge palmetto bug in my bathroom. I will be asking for a partial refund on Monday!
I love the proximity to the beach.
There was no place hang clothes. It looked like it had been painted recently but the finishing touches weren’t there.
I’m sorry but would Not recommend staying there!
It also had a dry drain/ sewer smell outside my room.

The bar was great my room overlooked the beach. I had to buy Clorox wipes to touch up the wall that was right by my bed, which had five black smudges and two things that looked like either boogers or mud. I feel like you should pressure wash the halls outside the rooms because people go in bare feet a lot and it’s kind of gross. But we really like this hotel. We always buy a broom to sweep the sand. Our bathroom was a little bit disappointing, but functional. There were hair ties on the floor from other people before us and the bathroom plugged did didn’t work well, and there was like stuff in the tub and one of the things was torn off that was supposed to hold body wash. All in all I think you’ve done pretty well with the place being that it’s so old but I just think a little TLC would make it cleaner and you should replace the missing chess pieces. They’re really cool.

If it was just me and my husband, I would DEFINITELY stay here again. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The view was amazing. The location was perfect. The amenities were great, BUT, there were 2 MAJOR issues, that would prevent a re-booking.
We were traveling with our 4 year old non-verbal autistic son who is an eloper and has an affinity to water. The room doors, neither one had a latch lock that prevents the door from opening all the way. THIS WAS A HUGE ISSUE FOR US! Even with the doors locked, as soon as he grabbed the handle to open the door, it opened automatically from the inside. This was extremely scary for us, especially when trying to rest. I spoke on it with front desk staff and they agreed that it is an issue that should be addressed. It just wasn't SAFE for our family.
Also, the parking was a nightmare! Both days we wound up in the overflow parking across the street. This is because to generate MORE revenue the hotel uses half the parking lot for for PAY HERE PUBLIC PARKING, this is a HUGE inconvenience for paying hotel guests. Especially those with disabilities or traveling with small children or BOTH! Definitely 2 BIG issues they should work on fixing.

This is an outdated and rundown property. Upon walking in our room we noticed it wasn't cleaned very well. This sparked a quick inspection on our part and we discovered bedbugs. Maintenance confirmed them. Needless to say we did not stay there.

In desperate need of renovation. AC in the room didn’t work very well. If you return to the hotel late at night there’s a good chance the parking lot will be full and you’ll have to park across the street in a lot that has no lighting. As a female solo traveler the overflow parking felt unsafe.

We arrived on Friday, April 24, and after taking a shower that evening, the tub became completely clogged. Since then, the shower has remained unusable. Today is Saturday, April 25, and we have been unable to properly shower due to the backed-up tub.

I was asked by the manager to wait while the issue was being addressed. The maintenance worker who came was kind, professional, and clearly worked hard to try to resolve the problem. Unfortunately, despite his efforts, the issue was never fixed.

What has been most frustrating is that no accommodations or alternative solutions were offered while we remained without access to a working shower. I felt that my basic needs and concerns were dismissed by both the front desk staff and management. Being unable to shower during a vacation stay is a serious inconvenience and should have been handled with more urgency and care.

Our first room was literally infested with roaches. We opened up a kitchen cabinet and they went everywhere. A bathroom also had mold. We went and told the office and they moved us into another room. Thankfully, no roaches here. However, I don’t think the floors have ever been mopped. Our feet turned black form it. The bathroom is pretty gross in our tub was covered in mold in the grout areas of the shower. The toilet was pretty disgusting too around the bottom of the seal. Smelled of marijuana quite often and had to keep my balcony door shut. We had to add one night to our stay. And I’ve had multiple hotel employees just walk into our room. I can’t say I will ever stay here again because of the roaches. But even aside from the roaches if I even thought about it, prepared to bring the own cleaning supplies, including a broom because they will not supply you with one.

Staff did not come by to clean room, give fresh towels and floors were super dirty. The outdoors pool was not cleaned and also was very cold until the last day of the stay when the staff finally turned on the heater. There was piles of sand in the bottom of the pool that were not vacuumed out. The showers for the pool did not work and had to use a hose. Hotel states it was a non-smoke environment however, could see and smell people smoke cigarettes and weed at all times of the day and night throughout the stay. Staff was rude when asking for new towels and new trash bags. Had to purchase our own trash bags to put trash in.

All staffs we met were kind and professional. Plenty of parking spaces. Room, bed, and sheets were clean. Private balcony was nice. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the beach long hours daily. The only missing was no hangers for towels or swimsuits. We like the place and will return. Next time we remember to bring some hangers.

Looks good at first glance, but there were some issues. Stepped on something crunchy when I woke up in the morning, it was a big roach. Sheets were stained. Drawers wouldn't open all the way, so I couldn't use them. Location was great and the view was nice. Staff was friendly.

I didn't want to sit on the toilet or sleep in the bed but luckily I had my own blanket

Check in time ‘started’ at 4:00 pm; was not able to check in until 5:00 pm; however, we were able to go ahead and get a parking pass and go out to beach. A/C very noisy but was able to keep room at 70, but no lower. No cups or soap in room; bath room not very clean. Beach area was great.

The only positive aspect of this hotel was its location and direct beach access. Aside from that, you’ll have to deal with several issues:

* No towels provided
* A clogged sink
* Empty toiletry bottles
* An old, unpleasant toilet seat

The biggest problem, however, is parking. If you return after 7 PM, you’re unlikely to find a spot—even as a guest. When you ask the front office for help, they simply say that’s the only parking available and offer no assistance. If you request to speak with management, they claim no one is available. Meanwhile, there is paid public parking on-site, while hotel guests are left struggling to find a space.

Let’s be honest, you’re paying for the convenience of the ocean right outside your door and a nice swimming pool.
With that said, the beds had sinking holes in the mattresses which surprisingly did not give me a backache. There also wasn’t any towels in the room nor was the front desk hospitable. There were a few flagrants walking around the outside pool area soliciting and that felt unsafe. Lastly, the maintenance man entered our room to clean the air conditioner filter which felt invasive but not necessary since we were checking out the next day. Also, I wish they had adult pool hours even if just an hour so the parents could enjoy the atmosphere alone.

The area is nice the rooms are set up good, but real dirty stains on the bedding. Had cockroaches in my room no towels, the bathtub wouldn’t drain had hair and other trash coming up, the shower head leaked everywhere. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The staff was helpful and nice.

The view from your room was incredible. Your private balcony overlooked the Gulf of America and was amazing. They had a tiki bar where you could get a cocktail by the pool. Those are the positives. The rooms were terrible the places run down and it's a throwback to the 1950s. If they would retro with paint and such the place could be spectacular like something out of old Hollywood but as it is it's terribly run down and not someplace I would stay again. But that view!

The room floors and shower were disgusting. My child’s feet were black. We asked them to come clean it which they did without hesitation but it was still turning the feet and towels black.

See a couple roaches in the bathroom.
The walls of the shower had black mildew and the roof of the shower did also!

The room was clean, although very dated. No phone in the room, so be sure to ask for front desk number so you can call on your cellphone for questions.
I was there four days, and no one came to clean room. Staff came by on 2nd evening asking if we needed anything. You will need to request clean towels, wash cloths, toilet tissue, soap, and coffee.
There is no elevator access to the rooms, and if you reserve \"beach access,\" you will be on first floor with two flights of steps to walk down to get to your room. Luggage will have to be carried to your room by hand if you're on the first floor. There is a ramp from the parking lot to 2nd floor to roll your luggage.
I was told at checkout when I noted how difficult it was to walk down two flights of stairs woth luggage I would need to reserve a room on 3rd floor which is the same level of parking lot, but you will still have to walk down two flights of steps to get to the beach. Beautiful ocean. I didn't go to the pool; it had a bar area.
They also make public parking available which fills up quickly during the evening hours. I'm assuming because of area restaurant dining nearby.

The balcony, view and easy accessibility to the beach far make up for anything else. If you have any physical limitations I suggest you make sure you are on the ground level. The staff were great. We arrived off the road several hours before check-in and they allowed us to check-in early. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Upon check in the staff was not as polite as other places I have stayed. The room was adequate but the location was prime! The hotel did not pist that there is NO SMOKING AT ALL ON PROPERTY except for one \"smoking area\" and said if you were caught smoking even in your car on property you would be charged a $300 penalty. Also they do not accept debit cards from any bank that doesnt have a \"brick and mortar\" location so no chime, varo, onepay, cashapp, etc.
We did not partakr in the pool area but the beach was spectacular!

The staff was nice, greeted with open arms. The cleanliness of the room was terrible, bathroom floor was nasty, bath tub/wall were dirty. There was poor drainage in the tub, shower head was poor. The room had roaches and that was horrible. They could have cleaned the room, I know no one attempted to clean it.(it’s not like it was a big room to clean, they need new cleaning people) the bed sheets were so nasty had brown stains all over the white sheets. The bed were very comfortable. The bed and the beach view were the only good things about this stay. Parking was heavy, if someone didn’t move as I was parking there would not have been any spots. I will NOT stay here ever again!!! Oh and the construction woke us earlier than expected (staff should have warned us about construction going on)

Would have given it a two, but the location is superb. Dirty and in disrepair, as soon as we opened the door to our room the smell of urine blasted us in the face. The bathroom was filthy…blood spattered on the tub and a dirty, wobbly toilet. The beds were hard and sheets were pilling…recommend that you bring your own bedding. We had a small kitchenette and the refrigerator leaked. It could be a nice little gem on the sea. Cleaning and making minor repairs would make a huge difference. In the end, it was a place to sleep. The balcony view of that crystal blue ocean and the easy walk to the beach made everything else bearable.

The room was cleaned but not very well. The shower was moldy along with the shower curtain and there was hair left behind in the shower. There was stains on the sheets and pillow cases. The plumbing was horrible toilets not flushing well and sink drained slow as well as the shower. had to have maintenance come by to fix it, and that didn’t really do anything. They had plumbers there our whole stay sawing pipes at 7am super loud, on the last night at 5am the fire alarm sounded for about an hour. Our room did have a few bugs like roaches or palmetto bugs.

The hotel is right next to a night club that had super loud music going until 2am every night. Watching teens fight off our balcony almost every night.

The only thing that was good was the beach access and the balcony view of the ocean.

I took video of the sawing of pipes by plumbers but not sure how to post yet.

You stay at a cheap place and get what you pay for.

Check in was a nice lady, had to go back to the office because they left us no towels only wash clothes the next lady I dealt with was no smiles and kinda rude when I had to ask for towels.

We didnt have wash clothes, we didnt have forks or spoons in our room until the 2nd night, the toilet wasnt bolted to the floor had to complain and they sent maintenance in 2nd night to fix. Sheets kept coming off so i called front desk on third day and requested they be changed and they tolde that even if they was changed they would do the same because the dryer has shrunk them. They came and was supposed to have changed them but didnt because they was sand in the bed they took the top cover off and put on 3 top sheets as cover. We was there 6 days and had 4 people and only 2 rolls toilet paper and ran out. There was also big water looking bugs in the room i kept killing i was told there was nothing they could do. We will NEVER go back to this PLACE EVER again its horrible place. Its a nice location and could be a nice place if whoever runs and manages the place took pride in it and took better care of it. The pool was NEVER cleaned and didnt even smell like it had chlorine in it at all. And the outside place where towels go for the pool never had any towels in it the whole time we was there. The outside lounge chairs was never cleaned. However, the tiki bar is amazing!!

Unarguably the most disappointing experience of my 70 years of travel. The rooms were filthy. Dishes in the cupboard were filthy. The flatware was insufficient for 2 people....1 fork? Really? The write-up said balcony or patio for every room. We had neither. We opened our door directly onto the walk with a railing. Cabin fever! The only positive thing I can say is the girls in the office were ideal. They were caring for responsibilities they shouldn't have had to but were exceptionally professional and kind.

It is like a glorified motel 6 on the water. Do not stay here!! Yes, it has a balcony you can sit on and see the water but you can’t sit there peacefully without smelling marijuana the entire time! Springhill Suites is next door and is more expensive but look like Taj Mahal compared to this hotel. The pictures online are AI, so don’t fall for it like I did!

The photographs on this site are very deceiving! This hotel is extremely old. The water would not drain out of the shower. It took three flushes to get the toilet empty. Outlets did not work. They doors are cracked and peeling. I did not feel very safe with my two young daughters. There is no wheelchair access to the second floor or beach/pool area.

Check in was horrible, showed up at 1:30 they said nicely check in is at 4:00, ok I’ll come back at 4, I come back at 4, and they tell me room is still not ready and I say it’s 4, she says rudely check in starts at 4 but that doesn’t guarantee your room is ready, ok I’ll wait, then the guy receptionist gets in a scream match with another customer because his room wasn’t ready! Finally get a room, the hotel itself is ran down, the room itself was just ok but had a bad odor, all the beach wash down water was not working. The positive was the beach is amazing. And walking distance to several restaurants, I think for 300 dollars a night you can do much better. Will absolutely not stay here again!

First got a room without view also all rooms have a beach view - front desk ‘found’ a room which had no towels, hand soap and seemed to need quite a bit of fixing up and that during spring break season.
Pool and pool area seemed nice and kids loved it.

Pool was clean and pretty. No towels wash cloths or shampoo and conditioner. Staff promptly gave us towels and wash cloths after going to desk and they were brand new. People were loud and you could hear them through the walls.

The staff was very nice and helpful....but my room was not what it looked like on the internet....It seems like they need a little remodeling but it was paint spots on the floor and the tub was chipping off with black spots....I had to put a towel in the tub so I can take a shower...I think it could have been better...Seems to me they were in a rush to finish.

Hotel was built in 66 so it’s as to be expected. First 2 days we had water issues and no one told us about the shut off. Said they sent out some app prior to check in that I had to use for updates - never knew of it.
Walkouts are convenient but be prepared to walk up and down steps anytime you wanna come and go. If you have mobility issues this is not the hotel for you.

I did like the fact that beach in the area was not crowded.

Overall it served its purpose, it’s a ok budget hotel if you’re looking for a place to lay your head without all the extras.

We stayed for 2 nights at this location.
It is a very dated location with few upgrades.
Beach access is easy
Pool is spacious
Cleanliness is needed for sure
No amenities (not even pools towels)

There are much better options out there.. we found it once we arrived and checked in.

Will definitely explore other hotels if we come back to panama beach again.

This property was beyond gross, WE DID NOT STAY, the place is not under renovation as stated online …mold was in the bathroom with an awful smell of urine, the refrigerator was nasty black mold in the fridge. My family have asthma & respiratory issues me and my daughter became sick after being in the room literally for 5 mins … the room was filthy… blood on the sheets, floors dirty… I would have preferred the honest reviews to help make a decision.. Only benefit was the property sits on the beach front … Please renovate this property!!!!!

The hotel initial looked older but we were pleasantly surprised at the updated rooms, comfortable beds, access out your door to the beach, and a great sunning and kids area. It has the outer feel of the older hotels but the comfort of new rooms. We would stay here again. Great staff.
