The staff was incredible. Every single one was awesome. The only issues I had and honestly I feel like we’re a big deal is that when I pulled out the sofa sleeper, under the mattress there were 8-9 chip bags, chip crumbs and a few dirty socks. Then the sheet had MULTIPLE stains and food crumbs. Which tells me housekeeping didn’t clean it properly (so what else wasn’t clean) So I had to go to the office and get all new bedding to make the bed up myself, along with cleaning under the sofa at 10:30 at night. Then one of the remotes was missing and we got it two days later and finally housekeeping was always out of bath towels so every night I had to go down and get towels. I do want to reiterate that the staff was absolutely wonderful and always tried to help despite the issues I listed.

The location is great. Parking is easy and secure. The beach is a 30 minute walk at least I walked it so I know for sure they do have a beach shuttle and parking is fairly easy at the beach as well. Two dollars an hour. The staff seem short staffed with housekeeping. Make sure to ask early in the morning because they’re busy but they get it done. All of the staff at the desk are nice and patient. Great time will visit again.! thank you

My stay at Sparks Hotel was absolutely wonderful! From the moment I walked into my room, I was impressed. The room had such a fresh, inviting smell that immediately let me know it was very clean and well cared for. Everything was spotless — the bed, bathroom, and overall room were all neat and comfortable.

The atmosphere was welcoming, relaxing, and exceeded my expectations. I truly appreciated the attention to cleanliness and comfort. I will definitely be staying here again and would highly recommend Sparks Hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and enjoyable stay!

Breakfast was bare bones - They actually charge you extra for an egg and bagel sandwich. Only two types of cold cereal. Juice machine broke. There was a place for hard boiled eggs, but no eggs until our third breakfast. They didn't clean our room until after our third night. Had to request clean towels three times. Elevators broke just before we checked out. We had to carry our luggage down four flights of stairs. We were offered a partial refund by the desk, then told \"oops, maybe not\" because we booked through Hotels.com. I expect way more from a Hilton property.

Pros: The location was great. You’re right across the street from Wal Mart and blocks away from Wonder Works and Ripley’s. Lots of restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly (especially Juvy).

Cons: The pillows were awful. The bedding clothes could use more weight as they slid off the beds every night. There’s no conditioner in the rooms. The paint on the walls in the hallways could use patching up. The breakfast comprised of only bagels, cereal, hard-boiled eggs, and some pastries. There’s no common area for guests to hang out.

Overall, it’s a fine hotel. It won’t blow your mind. It’s a place to sleep, and it’ll do the job.

Our stay was just ok. The hotel is in a great location, near everything and seemed walkable to most attractions. Ample parking. The toilet in our room was stopped up when we got in and there was old food in our fridge. Breakfast is very minimal. The room was spacious and close to the soccer complex, which worked for our one night stay.

Staff was courteous. I wanted to leave a happy review, truly. The beds were clean and comfortable; the room was clean and spacious. I booked the 2 queen bed suite for 2 nights. The first night things were great! Hot water, good water pressure. However - our deadbolt did not close at all. The hole was not lined up properly. I had to ask for the \"Not yet Sign\" as I don't like staff entering my room when I am not there. I reported the deadbolt to three different employees at the front counter. Never offered to change rooms or anything. The second night the hot water wasn't working. It was room temperature at best. By morning it was barely room temperature. I reported this and was told maintenance was not on sight, it would be the morning the before it would be serviced. Again did not offer to change rooms or offer anything for the inconvenience. We were checking out in the morning so maintenance did us no good. I reported it again upon check out thinking maybe they'd refund some of the price - nope, only a \"We're sorry, safe travels.\" Also, second floor ice machine isn't there. You have to go downstairs. The suite is also a central heat and air type set up. It took hours for the heat to warm the room. We stayed when the nights were in the 40's. So yea - an okay stay. Loved the set up - but lack of quality in basic maintenance makes me not want to return.
