We had an amazing stay at Garner by IHG in Panama City Beach! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. Everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making our stay enjoyable.
Our original hotel nearby unexpectedly canceled our reservation before we arrived, and we were so stressed trying to find another place to stay. Thankfully, Deandra went above and beyond to help us. She worked hard to find a room for us and even got us checked in early. Her kindness and outstanding customer service completely turned our day around, and we are so grateful for her help.
The room was in exceptional condition—everything was spotless from top to bottom. It was clear that the hotel takes great pride in cleanliness and maintaining the property.
The complimentary breakfast was also very good, with plenty of options to start the day.
This was truly an amazing experience from beginning to end. Thank you, Deandra, and the entire Garner staff, for making our stay such a positive one. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we’re in Panama City Beach!

I came down for a fishing trip and it was 9 minutes from Anderson fishing docks, alot of activities within walking distance for families, an arcade, golf, and go carts. Highly recommend if vacationing on a budget. 😎
Dustin
Staff was extremely professional. Hotel has received a few upgrades since my last stay and room was great for four people.
Shaun
Nice clean room, great staff, really good breakfast, definitely recommend and would stay here again.
Randal
It was quiet and pleasant. Would definitely stay again.
Brittany
Everything was great. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the room had a bad smell. It smelled like a dog or musty. But it was clean and the staff was very friendly.
Guadalupe
The breakfast is ok not many choices

Will stay here again the next Jeep Jam

The check-in clerk told me that this property used to be owned by Sleep Inn. I don't know how recently Garner acquired it, but they did a complete renovation very recently--so recently that everything (at least on floors 1 and 2) looks and smells brand, spanking new. Breakfast was good, too. We'd definitely come back.
Tanya
I truly enjoyed my visit
Jessica
Our room was spacious, clean and the wall color was a beautiful periwinkle color that I loved. The young lady at check out was so friendly and helpful. Close enough to everything. I recommend and would stay again.

Shelly at the front desk was so nice and helpful!!
I would've recommend more seating options for the pool area! Other than that it was a great stay!!

Nice rooms, and even nicer staff. Really felt the folks working here were looking out for us. Really cool to notice that the new awnings for covered parking have solar panels on them. Good job!

Nice one

Very noisy hotel. Harley Davidson motorcycles cruised the streets until past midnight every night, creating a lot of noise and making it impossible to sleep. I've stayed at hotels at the end of an airport runway that were not as loud. The hotel needs to put up concrete walls at the edge of the property to deflect the noise, or install triple-glazed windows.

Hotel was clean, safe, comfortable. The staff was welcoming and assisted when needed.
Danielle
Room was clean to site but the remote was sticky. There was a weird stain on the headboard. It smelled. There was a dog barking next door. Will never stay there again. Waste of money
Wendy
I chose this hotel primarily because it is advertised as pet-friendly, as it was very important for me to be able to have my pet with me. However, during breakfast, I was asked to remove my small puppy, who was very young and quietly staying inside my bag, after another guest mentioned having allergies.
I understand the concern, but this situation was disappointing, as it contradicted my expectations of a pet-friendly environment. It made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome having my pet with me in shared areas.

The property staff was AMAZING! The location was great and I enjoyed my stay. The only thing that could have been better is the cleanliness of the bathroom.
Jason
Wonderful staff and great places to stay. I recommend everyone.

The best things were the location and the first front desk person after that nope. Couch cushions had what looked crap stains on them and the breakfast was very minimum. The last morning I was there we were waiting for the breakfast crew to put plates out and refill food waited 30 minutes we were wondering who ran as no me was at front desk or walking around refilling stuff. A lady had walked over to a gentleman in the corner deep in his phone when she asked if he worked there, then she had to ask him to refill the breakfast and put plates out this was 830a-9a we didn’t really eat the breakfast cause we had no plates to eat on and nothing out to eat and was well before 10a I appreciated the location more than anything but would find another hotel as we felt like we were last thing anyone wa Ted to help wish we had the First Lady helping but oh well

The night staff need more training on customer service and how to properly solve a customer problem, i stayed over a extra night and got no clean towels bathrooms didn’t get clean bed not changed and meaning not made up trash didn’t get picked up out room meaning trash can I stayed a total of 3 night, but will not be returning again I gave them the benefit of the doubt when the first incident happened and then the second one in the same stay I’m done and I really liked the hotel.
Rachel
Nice hotel; comfortable room; very friendly staff; great breakfast; the night we stayed was a little chilly for the outdoor pool, but my husband said it was refreshing. :)

I’ve never heard of Garner by IHG until this trip but I was impressed. The whole building was spotless and felt fresh. The room was clean and spacious. The room felt a lot bigger than those in other similar hotels I’ve stayed in. The manager was helpful and kind and there was a decent exercise room, would definitely return
Paula
Very clean and updated hotel with great service and breakfast options. Would definitely stay again
Van

Anatoli
Great, clean and friendly.
Julie
I booked 30 minutes prior to arriving and after trying to figure out how to get into the parking lot at night (old people) we checked in. The door was locked which annoyed me at 1st but realized that was a safety measure. Front desk lady was kind & professional, as well as the gentleman that checked us out. Room was nice & very clean. Breakfast was good. We will definitely stay again.
Owen
Overall our stay was acceptable. Our first room assignment had dozens of dead ants on the floor and on the two beds. We asked for and received a different room.
Breakfast was good. We were not comfortable walking our pet outside in the evenings as there were numerous people just hanging out on the edges of the property.

This is one of the cleaner ihg hotels I've stayed in. We were in town for town for a softball tournament and this one was only 5 mins from the publix's sports complex. I'd gladly stay there again if in the area.
Andy
Excellent little hotel for the money.. we didn’t care for the breakfast but not a problem.. will definitely stay here again
Joshua
Hotel was clean. staff helpful and friendly
Katie
Unbelievable how difficult it is to find a reasonably priced place anywhere without bugs, but this place is the cleanest, cheapest place AND NO BUGS! Super friendly gentleman at the counter when we checked in. Lobby area, halls, elevator, and room were all very clean. Check in was a breeze, especially for our late night arrival, and the beds were super comfy!! Great location, quiet, well lit, and a decent free breakfast. 10/10 would recommend!

Dog friendly rooms are are the ground floor.... This is huge. Also continental breakfast was excellent. This place is a true value. Hell, you will be drunk and sleep like a baby when you get back to your room. Its the Redneck Riviera after all.
Bella
i was honestly nervous before i went inside, as the outside appears to be a little sketchy. but i was pleasantly surprised when i got inside! the room was very clean, the staff was very nice and helpful, breakfast was delicious and had a lot of options. bed and pillows were very very comfy! no bugs or mold or anything broken! loved the dove soap as well. the only thing i was disappointed by was that it was too far from the beach to walk even though they have beach-front listed in their amenities.
Adera
