Everyone had a good time and a nice place to stay. It's easy to see how a very popular spring break location could have troubles with guests. I'm very happy things went well, I the 43 year old man who booked the stay am the only one who drinks beer. Not to party I simply enjoy the beverage. It worked out great for those kids!

There was a dirty towel on the kitchen counter when we arrived. The condo was in poor shape.
The light over the kitchen table was hanging by a wire. It looked like they started to reprint but stopped half way through. The mattresses were awful.

The location is perfect, close to the beach and restaurants. The unit was very nice with a comfortable bed and large living room. The water is very soft and delicious. Not at all like most municipal water systems. I especially enjoyed the Beaches restaurant next door. Huge portions and very good service with low prices. I wish I owed a unit just like it. Enjoy

Tower 2 905 was not clean when we arrived, had a broken toilet flow valve, and the couches had pet hair and odor. When we brought these to the Southern Vacation Rental, they remedied the issues; however it did have a negative affect on the week and caused allergy issues. Fortunately, we had other family members staying nearby and spent most of our time at their clean rental.

Arrived to to a room not the same as in the pictures. The room was covered in mold, not mildew. The vacation rental group would not refund the amount, they had no other units to put me in and just offered units off the beach or multiple units where my family would have to pack up and move during vacation as alternatives. Please make sure you don’t get rooms that are not officially rented by Expedia. Expedia will try to fix issues but when they are just the in between group you don’t have a way to be covered. Stay away from anything with Southern vacation rentals.

There were no outside lights on the entire 9th floor. We had to keep washing the same towels everyday just to have linen to bath because what is in your unit is all that is provided for your entire stay.he unit was not well kept. Tbe curtains were in need to repair one of the tubs was clogged the furniture is worn and outdated. There were no people that we were able to contact in person. Everything was either telephone or text. The last 2 days we were there the elevator broke.I will not stay here again.

This property has easy access to the beach, nice pools, and a great onsite restaurant. However, it needs work on cleanliness. Also, it shows a 10AM checkout time on various travel sites, but it's actually 9AM.

The property is fantastic. I have stayed here twice. Its all in the condo you get as to the styling,comfort, and cleaning. 1st trip perfect. Room was fantastic in building 4.
This year stsyed in tower 2. Room not as nice and there was some cleaning issues. Nothing bad. We found a bar of crumpled up soap in rhe guest shower. The bed needs replaced. Otherwise good stay.

Unfortunately, my experience at this condo was disappointing. The property is in poor condition — the ceiling shows visible signs of damage, with cracks and water stains. The walls were dirty and poorly maintained, which made a bad impression right away. Additionally, the bathtub was not clean and seemed like it hadn’t been properly sanitized before our arrival. This place definitely needs urgent maintenance. I wouldn’t recommend it until significant improvements are made.

The property was nice. It has beautiful views of the beach. The unit needed some updating including the living room furniture but other than that it was a pleasant stay. There was a restaurant on site Ocean Bar & Grill—food was phenomenal. Multiple swimming pools which was perfect if one was more crowded than the other. The property was around many amenities. Many eating spots and several shopping places. Overall, a good place to stay.

This was a very nice resort! Everything was clean and it was nice being so close to a lot of restaurants and shops we could walk too. Easy access to the beach and lots of friendly staff around to ask for help. The restaurant is pretty pricey and automatically adds gratuities to the check but was pretty good.

The resort was nice but the condo was very dated. The shower rod in the master bath was broken and fell down a few times. The curtains in the master bedroom and living room were also broken so you couldn’t shut or open them all the way. Just seems like little things like that could be fixed in a nice resort like this.

The condo unit was absolutely beautiful and the view was incredible right on the beach. The sand is pure white like powder sugar and the turquoise water is gorgeous.
The staff at Southern Vacation Rentals were available in person day and night to answer any questions we had. We will definitely come back.

The condo was perfect for our stay. 2 bathrooms is awesome.

The balcony with ocean and beach view made for the perfect perch when not down by the water.

The main pool area had some policies that I did not care for. Specifically, are not permitted to be turned to face the sun. Of course if you want to rent a cabana then there are perks. 🙄

Great stay and I look forward to a return trip.

It would have been amazing if all of the hot tubs worked. Our hot tub worked but we didn't get to use it because it was always packed.

Also on the booking information it said parking was included and its not we had to pay $130 for parking at the resort.

Checkout isn't at 11am its at 9am.

Theres alot of wrong information in the booking site.

Reserved a non smoking room and got a smoked in room. Property manager did not do anything, but have housekeeping bring febreeze to mask the smoke in the room. There was ashes by the bed and nightstand. They failed to clean prior to us attending. Other reviews are true they have garbage customer service and will have no chance of having any issues resolved by the front office or property manager.

We’ve stayed at this resort at least 10-12 times over the last 20 years. Always loved the grounds, multiple pools & jacuzzi’s, the availability of food, Starbucks coffee and ice cream. But some of condos that we’ve stayed in at poorly stocked, run down. It’s like the owners just gave up on updating their units. (This is no exaggeration one time we stayed in a unit with computer monitor size tvs that you could barely see from the bed). We will return as my husband loves this place and I like it too but the disappoints are getting old for rooms that’s cost from $2, 3, or even 4 hundred dollars a night.

We thoroughly enjoyed our last minute spring break trip. Since it was a late break time we missed the crowds. Our unit was in good order with plenty of room and gorgeous views to relax and watch the ocean. The resort staff was super friendly- morning coffee served by Audrey and Danielle was always friendly and engaging. The beach was beautiful and the water perfect. I’d recommend Edgewater for sure.

The property is very outdated. It needs a lot of maintenance. The hot tubs are not hot, with tiles popping off everywhere. The pools are cold because they shut off the heater every night to save money. The smell of natural gas permeates the grounds. The pavers are falling apart, which make for easy injury while walking anywhere around the pool areas.

Only Thing Good was the View

The representative at check in was rude, condescending and bothered to have to help. The beach staff lied about the purchase of shade benches which cost way to much! The room was dirty, outdated and unkempt. Cockroaches were found as well as dirty dishes in the clean utensil drawer. The only thing decent about the stay was the view and location.

All in all was good

The condo had a great view, the beach was beautiful and no rain. The furnishing was dated but nice. Only problem I did see a few bugs not infestations. The sliding door to the balcony from the dining area was very hard to open/close. This was reported and maintenance fixed it. But the sliding door in one of the bedrooms would not open the maintenance guy said the door would have to be replaced.

I like that location and the fact that you really didn't have to leave the property. Everything was located on the property. But some of the lights in our unit was not working properly and they could mop the floor some time. The floors were not clean. But the experience was wonderful. My family accidently booked two seperate properties qt the beavh for the same weekend. I realized this 10 minutes after i booked it. I called to cancel it and was quickly informed it was non refundable. I called the hotel direct, who told me tough luck, and to call orbitz. Called orbitz again who also repeatedly told me it was non refundable. After hour of calling back, and them reaching out , it was deemed still non refundable, but tgey would email someone about it. We get to the priperty , and i see why its non refundable..the funiture is mitch match, carpet is old, qppliances are old. Beds are squeaky, toiket was clogged,the patio door was falling apart, and wouldnt shut. Door was left open all werkend. Sp when i consider this 2 day stay was 800 dollars, makes me ill to my stomach. Edgewater use to be my favorite place, and ive used orbotz for years. I travrel to pcb almost every weekend.. but after this expirence i wont be using orbitz again, and wont stay at edgewater again

I got the 2 bedroom oceanfront, it was very lovely where it was located. Most of the hotel was nice, a few things upset me because of how much I paid for it. Jacuzzi bath didn't work and mold in it, asked for it to be fixed he just came and looked at it and left, never got fixed. Locks to the sliding doors on the balcony didn't work. Tile missing off the bar in the kitchen. I wouldn't mind going back to that hotel again, but they better not put me in that room again!

Staff and amenities were great. The rooms are individually owned so you don't really know what you're getting. For instance our room was outdated, mirror was ripped off the wall in the guest bathroom, ripped carpet, and a few other things of that nature. You could tell there were making some improvements around the resort which was a bit noisy, but nothing unbearable. Overall, not that bad considering we didn't stay in the room that much.

First room was not the room I paid for and looked like it was from the 70’s. The second unit was VERY run down. Furniture worn out very scuffed up. Bed was so bad my 18 year even complained and it had a terrible smell that even the manager smelled and unfortunately after he said someone would come get rid of it, no one showed up. On the day we were leaving 3 different people walked right in the unit. One lady at 9:00 in the morning and I was in a towel. She said “oh the schedule must be wrong” and walked out. David the manager was exceptional in helping us and went out of his way to make the room right. Unfortunately we paid allot of money for a worn out condo. It’s time to refresh if you want people to pay over $400 a night to stay.

Great place to stay- room wasnt up to date at all but it was nice. Pool and beach were great. However, units started construction at 8am 3 days in a row and worked until 12. Despite having a no working policy that allowed this to start at 10am, they didnt enforce it. This is not a tolerable condition if someone wants to actually rest on their vacation.

The property location in second to none, the pools are outstanding, but the room was not clean, the check in time is suppose to be at 4 pm and did not get our room till 7 pm that is unacceptable, bacause when you are leaving they want you out of there on time. I WOULD NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL AGAIN.

The villa was across street from beach property. It’s a simple walk over their bridge or they have trams to use( golf cars). Gated community and felt completely safe. The villa golf side rooms were beautiful with two big bedrooms, kitchen and living room. Beach chairs available to rent or take your own. Pool was crazy wonderful! Drink cost was ridiculous though…bring your cooler but no glass. I would without a doubt stay here again! Can’t say anything about beach condo rooms, but golf villa was amazing!!!

The property had security at all times. It was really easy access to beach and not crowded.

I hate that you pay a cleaning fee and they tell u you must take trash out and places all linens and dirty towels. In a central location. I found 2 roaches in my unit. The bathrooms had hair in the drawers and other things that previous renters left behind. It really made me question if they are truly cleaning or just replacing linen and mopping. I have never been to a place where I pay a cleaning fee and im told I have to take trash out. Or will get charged an additional fee for excessive cleaning. Everywhere where I have stayed I have never needed to take trash out. In fact I called the front desk to question and the girl was rude and hanged the front didnt let me finish talking. I understand its not her fault but this is really poor management.
