The staff and location are outstanding. Sure, the hotel could use a refresh, but it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The back balcony was amazing, offering unobstructed views of the ocean. If I am in Panama City Beach again, this will be my first choice.

The daily cleaning service was great. All of the staff is helpful. With 3 pool, hot tub, multiple decks, tiki bar and small grill, with a few outdoor game set next to the beach. More than enough to keep my 2 tweens busy with the ocean and properly amenities. Will be back.

The Osprey is a wonderful place to stay if you have kids and if you are looking for a more budget friendly option. We never struggled with parking (crazy for 4th of July week), the staff was super sweet, and we had a clean room + made beds everyday. Private access right to the beach and their tiki bar was a cute, added plus. Shoutout to the bartender doing it all! It’s family owned and it shows! It felt like a close community and there were staff around the property everyday ensuring it was clean and kept. 10/10 recommend!
I’m *pretty sure* every room in the OSPREY part are oceanfront rooms. (Don’t hold me to it)
our balcony was on the 3rd floor and it was a gorgeous view of the gulf everyday. Not to mention the full equipped kitchen !

This place checked all the boxes for what we booked. We were only in town for two nights so the room was fine. I did like the fact that it wasn’t a high rise hotel and that it wasn’t packed like sardines on the beach. The room was dated but had everything you needed. The beds would’ve been tight for a family of 4 but definitely a personal preference. Parking was good and you are very close to pier park! We walked to most places we wanted to go. The pool area is fine. My opinion- if you need something for a couple of night this is a good place. But if you’re looking for a fun up beat kid place for extended stay- maybe not. The cabana rental guys on the beach were SUPER NICE! My husband and I said we would stay here again since it was easy for us.

It was nice for a beach motel. No, it wasn’t a fancy high rise hotel. It’s a bit dated, noisy at night with beach on one side and noisy traffic on the other side, and the beach chair rentals for the day was way too much, bring your own. Besides that it was a good stay for the night we were there, might be good for a weekend but don’t know if I’d do a whole week. Again remember, this is a more like a motel not a fancy high rise. But here is the best part, you can’t beat the price for the location on the beach with beautiful views of sunrise and sunset from your balcony. Pier park is a short five minute walk at the most. Price and location make it worth the stay.

We loved everything about it the location, the view was amazing and the staff very helpful and friendly, had our room cleaned every day. The only thing that I didn't like was the little Tiki Bar area they have closed at 6pm and we thought that was kinda early other than that definitely recommend, loved!

Free parking was important and convenient. Room dated but comfortable. Tv controls were a pain. Lobby coffee wasn’t great, and no covers for cups. No breakfast food but convenient to walk to breakfast places. Balcony was awesome! Road noises dropped after 10pm. Location very walkable to Pier Park and other amenities. Lot of repeat guests which made us feel a little like outsiders as they monopolized the outdoor spaces. Nice beach in front of hotel and away from the party spots. Would stay again.

Always a great stay here! We did have an issue adding an extra night as we were told one price, went to the room to get our credit card and when we came down 30 minutes later and presented it to pay the \"bald\" guy in the office quoted us a price that was almost $150 higher! We paid it, but for customers that have been coming every year for the past 10 years sometimes twice a year, we were not used to this treatment as we have highly recommended this Hotel to many many people! This hotel is perfect for anyone who doesn’t like big crowds and likes to go to bed at a decent hour! The beach is foot steps away. The AC was so cold! The water pressure in the showers was great! The tiki bar was so convenient! The only thing I would suggest is to bring your own pillows! They also didn’t have an ice machine but you could purchase bags of ice in the lobby.

I would love to give this place a terrible review to deter others and keep it our “family secret” but I simply can’t. This place is wonderful! Very well kept, family owned, staff is very helpful and kind. We loved the events planned throughout the week and the tiki bar. It will be our new annual family vacation spot and we look forward to our next visit.

My stay at this hotel was wonderful. My wife liked it so much she wanted to stay 2 more nights which they thankfully accomodated. The patio, sun decks, and pool areas were clean as could be and well maintained with plenty of loungers and chairs available. I loved laying under the shade of those palm trees. The room was clean and stocked on arrival and the trash never puled up and my towels were filled everyday by the housekeeping staff. I enjoyed the streaming televison while taking a break from the sun. This quite the quaint little gem on the beach. Highly recommend!!

We really had a nice time and found that the property was in a great location for walking to many of the things we wanted to see. The housekeeping staff was lovely. It was a good choice for us because it was far more affordable than some of the hotels in the area. If we went back to Panama City Beach we would definitely consider this property again. And the Wednesday free fish chowder event is not to be missed!

I loved the staff theybwas super friendly and helpful.
The tiki bar was great to have on site as well. Games around the tiki bar could use some updating but we still enjoyed it.
The Tv in the room was horrible though. Not a smart tv and not very clear. We had a few rainy days so that would have been nice to have a better tv.
Overall I do recommend this place and we will be back for sure.

My fiancée and I stayed at the Osprey and had the best time we have had on vacation in a long time. Starting from the staff greeting us on arrival to all the helpful suggestions that were all winners including the best fresh caught fish chowder served for guests that I could have ate all day. Didnt have a bad meal or cocktail thanks Lisa and Nathan best tiki bar bartenders out there. The beach was clean and nice, Roger was super helpful with getting setup with beach chairs and conversations. The pool is awesome overlooking the ocean, easy to hangout in all day and a hot tub to get in at night. Room was cleaned everyday with care thank you Bradly. The front desk attendants were friendly and informative. We will be back!! Thank you again everyone!!

This is not a high end luxury hotel. I usually would not stay here but I booked it online and went with it. This hotel/resort is a gem to say the least!! I did not see 1 room anywhere on the property that I thought wasn't clean. The staff is exceptional. Every staff member I engaged with stopped what they were doing and held a conversation with me. Anything I needed they supplied. The pools were very clean. Pool towels were a little thin but clean. They are right on the beach which is a plus to me. Once a week they serve chowder at the tiki bar. Oh my!! What a treat that was. My tummy was full but my taste buds said please give me more.
This hotel/resort is in an excellent spot. You can walk to the pier and shopping area. We stayed in a studio room. It was well supplied. The patio provided a very nice view of the gulf.
I always worry about the comforters on the beds wherever I stay. On the day we were leaving others were leaving too. Outside our rooms there were cleaned comforters rolled up in plastic bags. I loved seeing that. lol
I would definitely stay in this hotel/resort again!

The staff at the Osprey went above and beyond to accomodate our stay. The room was clean and surprising to us had a full stove, refrigerator and microwave. Walmart was 3mins away, so we were able to shop for food and cook while we were there. Just a 10min walk to Pier Park was great. Right on the beach. Down a few stairs and step onto the beach is exactly what we were looking for. There was live entertainment at the Tiki Bar and free clam chowder was served on Wednesday. The pool is small and the hot tub is even smaller, but the seating area is spacious to sit and soak up some sun.

Parking was a little tight, but we were always able to find a spot.

The rate was very affordable especially during spring break. We will definitely return here for it's location, rate, and staff hospitality.

A real gem amongst the high rise hotels We absolutely loved our stay gorgeous beach gulf view on the beach and so friendly. Heating unit does not automatically turn off with temperature setting.
Unit has very few utensils. Only 2 cups for a three night stay. No wine glasses.
Very few charging outlets. The ones available are far away from the bed.
No facial tissues.
Light switch for one of the bedside lamps did not work.

the staffs were really nice, check in and check out went smooth. it was nice to have hot chocolate and coffee available in the morning. it was too windy and cold so we didn't get to try the pool or hot tub although they are heated. the full kitchen was equipped with most kitchen gadgets. we loved the balcony view. overall, it was a great experience. very close to walmart and shopping and restaurants as well

The property was older but in very Good, Clean condition! Staff was very polite! Let us check in early! Had a tiki bar, served some food, sweet bartender! Has three pools, outdoor games, nice beach front! All rooms Has ocean view. Only four levels of rooms.
Our only complaint was horrible disrespectful kids running around, knocking on doors, spitting on cars, and then giving you attitude when we told them to stop knocking on our door! No clue where their parents were.

This was my solo retreat for the holidays. The staff were very welcoming. The room was really clean. I loved that there were a lot of shops and restaurants near mine. It is a family friendly hotel and being directly on the beach was just amazing. I loved relaxing on the balcony listening to the sound of the ocean.
This is the perfect place to stay if you’re looking to just slow down and relax. I will definitely stay here again.
