We had an ocean view room and it was wonderful. We had a great view of the ocean, the pool and even the fireworks since we stayed during 4 July our room was very clean and the staff was friendly and they come to clean the room every day opposed to just before you come and after you leave. This has easily become our favorite spot. We will be back. Thank you!

We stayed in a unit across the street from Condos. These units need to be updated, The doors showed signs of flooding in the restroom. I have stayed in nicer Motel 6 properties. I didn’t sleep well the entire week of my stay. The bed was very hard and it felt as if I was sleeping on springs. The pillows were very lumpy, I suggest you bring your own. The unit was clean and the A/C worked perfectly! Need better parking, most nights after dinner we had to park down the street from our unit.

When I first arrived I thought was at the wrong address based on the picture shown which not the actual address which is across the street. At least one roll of paper towels could be used in the kitchen. Also, you have to pull extremely to turn the shower. We alerted maintenance and pulled on it.

I was glad that I had clarified that I was on the beach side of the resort. Several times when I was in the lobby, there were upset guests checking in who thought they were beachside but were really across the street. Overall, the location is great. It is not a modern or well-kept resort but is practical (plastic upholstery on couches) and spacious. The closet was huge and there was a full kitchen. I did not expect daily housekeeping but we got it, which was great. The balcony was a plus. Bathroom is tiny and felt dated, but sufficed. Did not use the pool because the beach was why we were there.

The room was clean with a beautiful view of the ocean, but their only thing there was no like toothpaste or like lotion, toiletries or nothing and it was one roll of toilet paper so that probably is something that they need to look into of getting each room properly ready for the guest, but other than that, the state was amazing. Everything was good and I enjoyed my stay for the price.

got checked in and was disappointed to find that there are 2 buildings, 1 on the beach and 1 across the street. across the street is older/outdated, has no elevator, no luggage carts, no ice machine, no kitchen table, no additional outlets to plug-in chargers etc. and the washing machine was out of order. we had to call housekeeping over to re-clean a few things. also no extra blankets. The laundry room smelled horrible and is in a very inconvenient place as well. most of the staff was friendly and at least tried to be helpful but not all were very knowledgeable and seemed to be fairly new.

The hotel is old and in need of updates. Due to the age the whole place made us feel dirty. The black carpet looked as if it had not been cleaned in many years. The tub drain didn’t drain properly or the kitchen sink was not draining properly. The mattresses were way beyond broken down. The kitchen was not something I would have used based on overall condition. The electric outlets wouldn’t even hoed a plug. It would just fall out. The view was amazing from the balcony and the pool area was nice just not enough chairs. Parking was a beast not to mention trying to load and unload vehicles. Beach access was great but the longe chairs are another thing. Says they have chairs but they are for rent. Would not stay again but it was an inexpensive place which taught me a lesson.. you get what you pay for! No onsite restaurant and the bar they had outside was not much. Oh my gosh you couldn’t breathe ocean air for all the marijuana smoking going on. Although some may like that just not for us. Not a place we will stay again and it 3 adults.

Their card readers didn’t work at all so they had to type in peoples card numbers each time. Not safe! Couldn’t buy anything from downstairs after 10pm, parking sucked drain was clogged so bad in the bathroom water wouldn’t go down. Pillows were nasty and outdated. Go buy $4 pillows at Walmart. The list could go on. For how much we paid for this place they should really do some upgrades.

Has running water and air conditioner. A/C turns off when any window or door is opened. (No vent in bathroom, so if you crack window A/C turns off) Doors do not close well, due to rust; therefore A/C stays off. Not as appears in photos; only some rooms have kitchenettes. They do not acknowledge customer requests and front desk lies. The halls and stairwells are nasty. All hinges, doors, windows and locks are rusted. Paint is peeling. Mold in bathrooms. I would recommend staying here to anyone that’s reading these reviews. We’ve been coming to Palmetto for a few years. First the hotel was family owned, and had a lot of extras. Like little things like a blow dryer in the room. I took a shower to get ready to go out for the day Antiquing and there’s no blow dryer. I go down to the front desk or “we don’t have those anymore and don’t have any to loan”… I’m old and this hair doesn’t look good dried naturally..things like no pad and pen in the room. They need to offer towels for the pool. We do love the location and I will say it was cleaner this year than it was last year. It’s supposed to be a smoke free facility, but you go to the pool and a lot of them were using Vapes that smell worst then cigarettes. I consider those as smoking and they should have to go out into a smoking area to use those. Overall, we had a great time. We found it very clean and the bed was comfortable.. super close to the beach, close to restaurants. Can’t wait to come back next year. Just still need to work on them smoking issues..I know you tried because I even got a text saying that it was a smoke free facility and I’m thinking did these people over here that are smoking get the same text. You probably need people to be walking around the pool area every now and then.

The bottom mattress shows the years of wear and tear and the you could feel the springs in the top mattress. Didn't get the best sleep, was uncomfortable through the night. The microwave was dirty.
