One of the worst facilities we have ever stayed at!
Filthy hallways leading to our crappy, smelly room. Carpet was so dirty I wouldn’t walk on it with bare feet! Actually put my shoes on in the bathroom after showering to keep from walking on the dreadful carpet. Interestingly enough, I checked the ratings (8.4 excellent) before booking…who is submitting these ratings??

Staff members are friendly and responsive. The elevators have long needed refurbishing. They are in poor condition and have a terrible smell. Rooms themselves are clean and comfortable.

Front desk staff were great, as was maintenance! We had to ask for our room to be clean and it still only happened once.
It’s an older building and you can tell things are broken and not really up to par but for the price who am I to complain?

The carpet in our room was wet, so it left a musty smell when the AC was off. The room had only two small lamps, and one was missing the bulb when we checked in. At check-in, the receipt I signed had a lower rate than what I paid on Expedia. Also, there was a $17 parking charge.

The staff was great. Super sweet and attentive but the property itself is lacking. Upgrades definitely needed especially in the kitchenette area and bathroom. Also can there please be regulations on marijuana use. It stunk everytime we went down to the pool.

The elevators need updating, they were just ply wood I side.
The bathtub and sink drained slowly.
They do charge 15 dollars for parking, lot included in Expedia cost

We enjoyed our short stay at this property. However, our first night we noticed the shower was dirty and there was a curly hair on the side of our sheets. It looked like it had been spot cleaned but not fully cleaned. When we went to tell the staff, she said the cleaning crew had already left and they could clean it first thing in the morning. After coming back from the beach the second day ir was spotless! All in all 6.5/10.

I've been going there for 5 years. I have never been so disappointed. The beds are good but the pillows were not. Having to pay for parking is ridiculous. It's not covered or secured. I won't be going back.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. From the service to the room, our check in time was at 4, I called around 12pm, staff told me I would be able to do early check in at 2pm. When my family and I arrived at 2pm front desk looked at me crazy when I told them I was informed I could come early. I had to come back until 4pm to check in, I got my room key and went to my room. To receive the completely wrong room layout, no WiFi, and worst of all it was disgusting the room smelled wet, the carpet and couch full of stains. Not to mention a shower of one cubic foot, no wiggle room. When I informed the front desk they said that they could not give me my booked room, that they were all booked and were of no help. Would not recommend!!

We have stayed here several times.This location is great if you want quiet and peaceful but still convenient to some great food and shopping if that’s your thing. Perfect place to watch the sunset. Never feels crowded even during the busy season. Rooms are old but clean enough. Our front door needed a good shove to get it open and closed. Balcony was clean and appeared to have newer furniture. A/C worked well. There was good water pressure for the shower. Could definitely use an overall update but we are happy with it for a few night here and there. There was a lot of maintenance going on in the elevators and corridors while we were there so I hope that’s a sign of improvements in that area. The pool and hot tub is always clean and well maintained although both can get crowded. Staff is top notch. Every single person we encountered was polite and said hello. Overall it’s a solid 4 for us and we will continue to choose Beachside Resort for short stays.

This \"resort\" was no resort. The room we booked was barely big enough for the bed, let alone walking around it. The bathroom was tiny. The TV didn't work. We spent one night because it was a very late arrival. The next morning, there was nowhere to get breakfast at the \"resort\" and we didn't have a vehicle.
We requested a refund for the other 4 nights we had booked, and they apparently gave it to us. I have a receipt for the refund, but I have not received it to our bank account.
I do NOT recommend this \"resort\". We moved to a Best Western Plus which was excellent, although not on the beach,

Don’t fall for the price, $15 Per Parkin per Night. Please read all, on ad posted page. we arrived at 3:00 but Check in time is at 4:00Pm and we waited till 5:30Pm to get the room. If they wants to fill the pool, you don’t get water in bathroom, I can understand but they could have filled up midnights not early in the morning and The phone line don’t work in the room! Nevertheless Staff is very polite!!

Waited a couple of hours to check in our room AFTER check in time, We were told they were waiting on house keeping! Toilet leaked the entire time and bathroom had a horrible smell! Parking was terrible, had to pay but park across the street! Beach area and pool were a plus.

Hotel has good rating on hotels.com but after booking, reviews on sites such as expedia, were not that great. Location is great, amenities are dated and so are the rooms. The walls are thin, the carpet is old and the elevators are shabby due to the hotel needing to be updated. The staff at the desk are not friendly, but the staff everywhere else are very friendly and accommodating. I suggest bringing your own beach chairs and umbrellas as the hotel charges $30/day for them. The other rental company charges more than that. This is a good place for a quick getaway, but if you're looking for resort style and upscale, this ain it.

Best part of this resort is the view. However, the rooms desperately need to be updated. You had to pretty much fight with the hotel door to open it and close it. The lighting above the bathroom mirror had rust on it. The outlets on the nightstands near the bed did not work. However, the pool was lovely and of course the view cannot be beat. Overall, it was okay for the 2 nights we were there, however we will probably look at other options for our next trip.

I do not typically write reviews, but after this experience, I must voice our experience. Having made reservations online and unfamiliar with the location, we arrived to check in with my party arrived at 4:30. I was told they were understaffed and they had early check ins, our 2 rooms were not ready and were told they’d call asap, as rooms became available. Having paid for the hotel parking, we decided to get dinner and return. After 2 hours, I called, front desk told me none were available and they’d call back. An hour later and still no call, my husband went to the front desk, where he was told that we were late checking in, and was laughed at. After a very firm conversation, miraculously, 2 rooms were available.
Everything else relating to the room and property were similar to the check in process.
Needless to say, we will never stay there, even in a pinch.

I will start by saying that the view was amazing from our room. The balcony also offered seating and enhanced The view from our room. The hotel was very moderately priced, but it could use some updating. The front desk staff was very polite and helpful. The kitchenette did not contain any kitchenware, so pack accordingly if you interested intend to use it. The room did provide a full size refrigerator the though.

The unexpected charge of $15 Plus taxes a night per car per night was a huge disappointment and really affected my vacation. I was under the impression when I got trip total from Expedia. It was the total amount I would pay for the trip. I feel like I should have been four warned about the additional expense. It was over $100 with all three vehicles. Plus. If not for that, my trip would have probably been a lot better and things would have looked a lot different. The front desk staff and the overall housekeeping. Everyone was really great. Was doing a great job. Great personalities. I enjoyed them. Felt bad for the front office. Hearing all the complaints from the additional pay for parking from all the customers that didn't know about it so I didn't say much then but I'm saying it now in my review,

Charged us for parking and credit card fees and the charges Hotel.com said we owed were not what we were charged! They advised since we booked third party!, we owed additional fees. Told us we should have booked direct! The grounds were littered with trash. The area was old and unkept. Online pictures definitely deceiving! When I tried to question additional charges. I was basically dismissed as clerk went on to help next customer. Our question is since we booked thru Hotel.com why was this booking price not honored!

This was a 1-star experience—definitely not worth the money. The rooms are outdated and poorly maintained. We were promised a balcony but didn’t receive one. The baseboards were coming up, and the shower rod was literally pulling out of the wall—it was broken. The TV was the smallest flat screen I’ve ever seen. Honestly, I’ve stayed at Motel 6 locations that were in much better condition than this.

The advertising is completely misleading—they do a great job making it look better than it actually is. I will not be staying here again.

The property was fairly clean, black hairs in the tub and on toilet, nothing patching where deadbolt was removed from the balcony door, black strips of either mold or dirt and dust from AC unit on the back of the curtains, so when you opened them it would get stirred up, counter top missing the end piece, carpet looked like it was replaced but the carpet piece around the walls didn’t match and had bleach splatter. Around kick plate of counter wood was very worn. The elevators were sketchy, but one looked like maybe it was being remodeled since it was half wallpaper and half plywood. The pool was clean, hot tub worked and was clean. The staff was super friendly. We were brought fresh towels without asking. The bedding was very clean and fresh. The room had fresh paint too so maybe the property is working on improvements. For the price it was overall ok.

Booking the room was easy as always. I arrived 15 minutes early, check in time is at 4 pm. I was told that my room wasn't ready and that someone would call me but i decided to wait at the desk instead, which didn't seem to be a problem. Staff was very professional, and sweet and also met the accommodations of a elderly couple because of handicaps during this wait. I think i may have waited 20 minutes and my room was avaliable. The room was clean, i felt, safe and we had a very view of the ocean and beach. My only 2 complaints i wish my room was on the top floor or near the top. Being on the 3rd floor you still hear everything that's on ground level. And lord the foor, the carpet gave me the ick! Needs to be cleaned

Location was fantastic. Great area if you are not interested in big crowds of younger Spring Break activities. Rooms are spacious. Anything you need is conveniently located within a 4 minute drive or 30 minute walk. Appreciated daily maid service and a bar and grill on location. Expect to pay for parking.

Nikki was outstanding. Her confident and friendly demeanor and efficient customer service skills were a breath of fresh air. I have to say while we were very satisfied with our stay our experience with Nikki is why I am taking the time to leave this review . Great place to stay . Thoroughly enjoyed it's more off pier private section of beachfront. Loved the balcony facing the beach .beach was clean not over crowded and the hot tub and pool were as well . Every staff member we encountered was absolutely 10/10 friendly helpful inviting and informative . We will be back. Hope the staff is recognized for their diligent work ethic. It really is a nod to the entire establishment to have such a reliable team .

Our stay was okay could update the rooms and the laundry facilities. The elevators were kinda scary to ride looks like they have them together with ply wood and only one works. The staff were okay had to go to the office for sheets and was told the maintenance person would bring some up but no one ever showed up. All in all it wasn't a bad place to stay it was quiet and away from town which was a plus for my family.

Room was nice and loved the location. The hot tub was constantly full of young kids which was a downfall as we could never get in due to too many with them in there (not beachside fault, parents).

Every morning they had people cleaning the pool deck from the day before due to people leaving it a mess with pool toys and other things. Staff is so helpful and sweet.
