My room did not have a stove even though I was told it had a 2 burner stove in it.when we got there,the gentleman directing the traffic, told me to show him my unit number and told there is not such a unit number, that I need to call the phone number listed for clarification, finally got it all straight. And accommodation for parking vehicles with a trailer is very, very limited

The room was not very clean. Chairs at the table were dirty and stained. The sheets on the bed were thin and cheap, the sheets for the sofa bed did not fit at all. The shower curtain was faded/bleached. The shower liner was too long. There was a strange odor as you entered the room and it was just overall not a good stay. We don’t recommend this condo.

Booked a gulf view and was expecting the full view. We ended up with a view of pier park and the strip with palms blocking the gulf view. Overall nice and clean place. Conveniently located in the middle of everything! Was not sure how to communicate with host or request more towels.

Overall our stay was very pleasant. It would have been nice if the welcome packet had a map of the property and list of amenities. Or a map near/on the elevators. It is a sizable facility with multiple banks of elevators, so some additional signage would have been helpful. Great location! Beach access directly across the street was wonderful.

We had to buy some utensils for the kitchen, the washing machine did not spin enough water out of our clothes, and the pull out couch was completely broken. So much that sitting on the couch when not pulled out was uncomfortable. Bathroom had mold/mildew growing all over the ceiling. And our balcony door was too hard to open.

The condo was clean and comfortable the staff was friendly. The security man out front was very nice. I noticed on reviews the elevators were slow, I was a little concerned about this, but we had no problems. The only downside about our stay is we could never get any bath cloths. We asked several times, and they never had any available. We had to purchase our own toilet paper. Only one roll was supplied for our 4 day stay.

Our stay was uncomfortable. Upon our first day of arrival, we could not use the fridge, stove or microwave as they informed us new ones were going to be places the following day. The next day, we were woken up by loud knocking as it was the maintenance personnel who were there to remove the old appliances and install the new ones. This was about 8am. The children were woken up as the personnel were talking very loudly, practically shouting the whole time. After the appliances were installed, the personnel did not clean up the mess they left which was dust, chipped pieces of styrofoam, cardboard. Etc. we had to clean up the mess. Then our next issue was with our neighbors. They complained about the couple of shoes that were outside the door, claiming there was a mess of sand (which there is a beach across the street, it is normal to have some residue of sand) then we had issues with the neighbors smoke alarm constantly going off. We tried speaking to someone at the front counter but there were numerous times where there was no one in the front counter. Overall, our stay was not comfortable and not what we imagined

The property was lovely, but I feel that they need to do better bout the pool hours because the nighttime is a good time to wind down, and it shouldn't be a closing hour because the property has security. Also, I was told I couldn't get any tissue because they don't give out tissue or housekeeping. So my point is, how is one roll of tissue sufficient for a customer staying over a day and not doing housekeeping? The rooms are too expensive for them not to provide more tissue rolls. Other than that, it was a good place and beautiful.

We enjoyed the fact that the property has a marketplace store and a department store on the first floor. Easy access to the beach. The room itself was poor. The mattress was very old and lumpy. The pull out sofa was an absolute disaster for my kids to sleep on. One child ended up sleeping on the floor. They charge a $150 property tax on top of the room fee which ends up like a 4 star price but not a 4 star room.

Just like other reviews. The condo we stayed in only supplies one roll of toilet paper per room. 1 extra trash bag per trash can. The towels were somewhat old… they were “clean” but they had old stains. Condo was a bit outdated. Only two restrooms with hot water. But our ocean view was amazing!! Location was amazing too. Very convenient to walk to places and beach across the street was walking distance. I wish they had showers outside to rinse out all the sand before entering the building. Other than that it was great…
Oh check in was quick. Even though I wasn’t able to obtain a receipt because the gentleman upfront said they printers weren’t working. I asked for it to be emailed and he said “I can look at the computer screen”. He was helping another customer checkin prior to be and when he was done I waited for him to finish up before going up to him. He look at me and said “what are you waiting for”‘I said check in and started laughing. Ok?! Other than I will come back with extra toilet paper, towels, trash bags.

A perfect place for families

This condo hotel is the perfect place to stay for families. My family and I really enjoyed our stay! From the beautiful oceanfront views to the accessibility to attractions, we will definitely be booking again. My only con is the security banging on our door and about to open the door just as we were about to leave out of the front door, they need to be more professional. Other than that, I love this place.

Overall disappointed with this location. Front receptionist had a blast chatting in the office instead of tending to customers waiting for them to come out to the desk. The elevators were HORRIBLE, plan on taking the stairs. Parking is a joke. They give a parking violation for parking on the yellow line (one tire), but do nothing about the people taking up two spots completely in the parking structure. They only give you one roll of toilet paper. The security guys were nice, held open the door for you every time. Pool was freezing. Room was very basic and dirty. The bathtub drain didn’t drain. Bed was horrible, basically folded like a taco. Wouldn’t go back there

This is a pretty great hotel for a decent price. It was extremely overcrowded in the time frame that we went and only one set of elevators was working, so we spent a big amount of time walking up and down the stairs to get to our floor. But other than that not too much else to complain about.

The ONLY good thing about my stay at the Origin was my view from my room. Other than that it wasn't a pleasant time in this hotel. The carpet in our room was WET with sand, only ONE elevator was working for a 17 floor hotel building so I was touching elbows with other guests in the elevator... meanwhile they close down the bar and other amenities \"due to covid\" but then have 15 people cramped in one elevator. The \"discounts\" they say they have for beach chairs and umbrellas is a lie I had to pay FULL price $80 for two days AND I told the front desk at the Origin and she said she would handle it and give me a call but never did. You have to wait 20min. Just for a front desk receptionist to notice you need something. Checking out was horrible. No available toilet paper have to pay full price for it, no complementary water or coffee... but there's a coffee machine in the room? No maid service didn't see anyone cleaning, they care so much about the wrist bands that they will kick you out of the pool if you don't have it on at all times. The key cards malfunction you have to swipe it 5 times or more just to get into your room.

Elevator were awful!! The room had urine or spit on the wall by the bed. When we checked in we were not giving the room I was lead to believe online. The Origin couldn’t do anything because we booked with a 3rd party. Trying to get ahold of Hotels.com is IMPOSSIBLE!! We had to suck it up and stay in a room smaller than we paid way to much for with no balcony.

I did not like that you couldn't stop in the front office to check in OR TO EVEN ASK A QUESTION. Attendants very rude there and when you have to TRY to find a parking spot in the parking garage and then try to unload your vehicle, it's very unnerving because the elevator wait time is EXTREMELY LONG. Several times we just took the stairs because the elevator never came to us. When having to park OFF SITE because of no parking spots in parking deck, VERY HARD TO UNLOAD THE VEHICLE AND CARRY EVERYTHING TO THE ROOM.

For the price to book this property during the peak season (July), it was well worth it. I agree with some of the negative reviews on here, but not entirely. The only complain I have is the slow main elevators. However, once we found the other set of elevators, we were able get up and down more efficiently. We stayed in unit 1333 and it was comfortable with ocean views from our balcony. The room was spacious for a family of 3. The room had a microwave, coffee maker, sink, and a mini fridge. We did not get a chance to use the pool since the beach was right across the street. I would book this hotel again.

The facility is OK but that is all I can give it. The toilet didn't work right. The AC kept messing up on us, We got chewed out every time by the pool because we had water. one of the elevators were broken. THE WORST PART, BE PREPARE TO WAIT HALF AN HOUR FOR THE ELEVATOR. Half our honeymoon was us waiting on the elevator. We even ran across a guy in an electric wheelchair that spent over an hour trying to get on an elevator. My wife and I had to stay on the elevator for about 30 minutes and explain to everyone why we need there help to get this guy down. Eventually, with everyone's help and understanding of the problem, we were able to get him on the elevator and help him to his car. It was very rough. That was the biggest disappointment to be honest.

Only major complaint would be it could use more silverware and cookware, there was only 4 forks and four spoons. Granted there was only four people but we had to wash after every time we ate.

Room smelled like old rotten feet AC didn’t work room temperature was 80% and the bed was so bad I couldn’t stand up straight after the first night sleeping in it. The room was supposed to be a condo but was just a bedroom and bathroom. It was so bad we had the room for four nights and only stayed one night and wasn’t able to be refunded for the rest of the nights we booked. Will not book through VRDO or at Origin Hotel again.

Extremely rude front desk associates.
Very expensive hidden fees. Room keys would not work. It took three times for me going to the front desk associate with a key that didn’t work for them to do something about it and maintenance to come up to check. Associates were also not present at the front desk as they should have been. It took us standing there for 30 minutes waiting patiently for them to finally come to check us in.
I was also told to never use Hotels.com to book a stay because it was too much trouble for them to deal with.
Overall, I am very dissatisfied with the character of this situation.

Enforcement of wristbands was overboard! If you put it on you could not slide the ring back to get it off. Parking inforcement to struck. Had a large truck across to spots so it would not stick out it to driveway with my motorcycle parked with it in the same two spots and was warned to move or be towed. There were dozens of empty spots in the garage so I was blocking out no one! No security in the trailer parking area. Someone was doing donuts in the field and slung debris and rocks all over my trailer chipping the paint. Also covered the hood of someone else’s new truck!

Worst Accommodations you could think of.

Attempted to call from desk staff for 3 hours upon arrival, without getting someone to pickup.
Additional cleaning fee was charged, was not mentioned on online listing.
Room was dirty and bathroom was gross. We had to get cleaning supplies and clean it ourself.
Hotel was overall dirty and worn out. I would highly recommend not staying here. I have learned my lesson and would warn you to do the same.

This property is supposedly under new management so maybe things will improve, but my stay (my second) was bad enough that i left and went to the marriot, which i can't recommend enough.
1st checked in and the room under renovation so had to go back to the front desk and get moved to another room.
2nd room i had to clean the toilet myself. Pee on it.
The pool was supposed to be heated but was not. Then we were informed a child could not be in the hot tub per florida law.
Upon checking in at the Marriot, children are allowed in the hot tub they just have to be with an adult if they are under 12.
When i left sea haven, i still had to pay a cleaning fee even though i had to do part of the cleaning.
Save yourself the trouble. Go to Springhill Suites by Marriot. It is super nice and clean and family friendly. Plus they give you free breakfast and the lagoon style pool right on the beach is fantastic and heated.

I was a little disappointed that I didn't have a stove or balcony. I went to the store to save money based on the pictures but no stove when got in the room. I also thought after looking at the pictures we had a balcony but it was okay the gorgeous view made up for not having the balcony. The unit had no way to keep ice for drinks. Micro-refrigerator with no ice trays. No way to keep ice frozen if you bough a bag of ice.
The A/C unit made a terrible noise when it came on and continued to hum and rattle while running.
The television only had on channel.
There was one small drink glass and one tall drink glass, no other glass ware.
I expected something more than just a hotel room.
I was very disappointing.

The room was nice, parking was very difficult. When we arrived was told about another fee that was due that was not reflected in the listing.

We rented a 3 bedroom condo. We had an ocean view out of every window and it was beautiful!! The condo itself was very nice and pretty and very spacious. Only a few small hiccups like some of the lights wouldn’t turn on and a few other things like our bathtub didn’t drain properly while we showered but besides that, we really enjoyed it and I definitely will stay again on our next trip down there. I loved that the beach was across the road and that Sharkys was right there as well (food was awesome) I loved it!

No room keys

There was no room keys. We had to constantly ask for the maintenance guy to come unlock our door. Carpet is old and stained.

We stayed for a total of 8 nights, we did not receive a key to our room until the last night of our stay, we were told the key system was down. We had to wait for someone with a master key to come unlock our room every time we needed to get in, which unfortunately led to us not wanting to leave the room as much because of the hassle of trying to get back in. Some of the staff was very friendly about the situation and apologized for the inconvenience but we also had other staff members that made us feel as if we were bugging them because we needed our room to be unlocked. There were multiple times we were left waiting upwards of 45 minutes at a time for our room to unlocked. No one from the staff ever offered any reimbursement for the hassle and the frustration this issue caused.

hat place is a joke!!!

Got there and was not given a room took 6 hours to get in one. Did not have a key to room had to find someone every time when left room to get into room. Staff was rude. Oh and I DID NOT GET THE ROOM I RENTED FOR!!! it was miserable. I was suppose to have ocean view got side view!!! Never will I ever stay there again. It sucked not having a key to my room to enter and leave as I wanted to.

Could be nice but property needs some work

Walked into the room and one of the lights were burnt out. Door to balcony was stuck was way too hard to open. Bathroom fan didn’t work, toilet seat was loose/broken, toilet was not seated properly, toilet ran if you didn’t pay attention to it. Internet went out Sunday and no one was working the desk all weekend after check-in. The there was a sign to go down the road if you needed someone to another property. Chair on balcony was rusted and about stabbed my foot with the rusty part. Definitely not worth the money I spent for the room.
