Most of the drawers in the bureau won’t open. The cleaning staff woke me up twice. I reported a maintenance issue which took 2 reports to get fixed. The TV went on at 6:49 in the morning twice waking me up. No one told me there was a $10 day parking fee. It took me almost an hour to check out because they couldn’t figure out my bill. Not a positive experience. I would never stay there again!!!

The room and bathroom were dirty and the TV did not work. We had to borrow an iron and there was no ironing board. Most outlets had no plate covers or were loose. The curtain in the back bedroom did not fit so the sun was gleaming in in the morning. The couch was too nasty to sit on.

The beach access was amazing! The pool area and loungers were awesome and plenty of them. The rooms are outdated and it was VERY loud at night. Besides the noise being the biggest complaint, overall the resort is not bad. Would consider staying here again because the beach access and view was perfect!

Our room was clean to an extent. The floors were filthy. Cabinet doors were broke/missing and the shower floor was chipped in large areas. House keeping opened our room door in the middle of the day with no knock. They asked why we hadn’t checked out yet. We didn’t check out until the next day. The elevator broke down on our 2nd day there. We carried all our belongings and a stroller wagon up 6 flights of stairs. Overall, our little one had fun. The pool area was good. The walk to the beach was short. There were no phones in the room to call the front desk if you needed anything. We ended up running out of towels and toilet paper and staff walking on our floor at the time wouldn’t help us. They told us to go find housekeeping.

We loved our trip and everyone was very polite. But we expected 2 pools with one being heated. After hearing teenagers in he pool well into the night, it was closed he next day. So no use of that pool or the hot tub the entire week we were there.

This used to be such a great hotel. We've stayed here numerous times in the past. Never again! Not unless some serious issues are addressed. The couch is far dirtier than any I've ever seen at Goodwill!! Broken and loose tile on the floor. Little in the way of supplies in the kitchen and most of the items that are there should be thrown away. (Skillet, spatula, etc) This hotel has excellent bones and has excellent potential! Repair, replace, and maintain it!!!

We never stayed the night when we arrived we were told because of our pupple we could not stay at the main hotel.
They sent us to a very old and very dirty motel across the street. It was so dirty we could not stay. To be fair the hotellet us cancel our stay. I feel they should state you can not stay at the tower or hotel.

Definitely would stay again! Rooms were clean, and everything worked great. Nice to have the A/C, fridge and kitchenette. Pullout bed worked great for our daughter. Loved the view of the Ocean. Location was just right on the beach and near a lot of activity. Pool deck, pools, chairs and bar outside were all great. Beach was clean and beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking can get tight on weekends but overall wasn't an issue. Only a couple small suggestions: Having a roll of paper towels in the room and entry mats for the front and balcony door can be nice due to sand. Thanks for the great stay!

This hotel offers an old school feel to a beach vacation. It’s not a fancy hotel with gorgeous rooms that you never want to leave. It’s a clean room with a bath/shower and little kitchen if you want to do your own cooking. We ate out at several of the nearby places that were great and in walking distance. In fact it’s literally once of the best locations for people who like to walk a little because Pier Park is half a mile down the road with a lot of fun things to do and great shopping. The pool is well kept. There’s a small bar with a very friendly bartender. The pizza was pretty good for this type of location. But the absolute BEST part is the BEACH. If I were taking this hotel and placing it inland somewhere then the place drops down. That’s what you have to consider when you stay here. Are you here for the beach and everything that goes with it or do you want a fancy Hotel experience. If you want Fancy Hotel this isn’t the spot. But great value and nice view and worth the money yes!

Plugs by bed did not work, plugs in bathroom did not work. Tub was nasty and had no hot water in the sink in bathroom. Hot tub benches were hard to sit on because they were so rough. Rules for hot tub need to be inforced kids were trying to swim the whole time and splashing everyone. One of our beds did not have a comforter had to ask several times for one. I have been staying at this hotel for 20+ years and never again unless they get everything in working order. Our room was in the garden area.

Our room definitely needed some tlc amd cleaning around the edges, butThey are currently changing management and working on improvements which will be nice. Staff were very friendly and the young woman at the front desk was very helpful. The beach is absolutely beautiful

All rooms are suites with a complete kitchenette including a table and chairs. The beds are super comfortable and the linens are soft. From our kitchen window and back door, which we often left open to feel the breeze, we could see the Gulf. I often sat on our shared covered patio to watch the water in the heat of the afternoon. We walked over to the little bar area, which offers amazing pizza, and sat in the loungers to watch the sunset. The front desk staff made excellent coffee every morning and were always kind and professional. The young lady who came by each afternoon to see if we needed anything was AMAZING. Overall, while the hotel is older and the living room furniture is dated, the view, staff, and amenities made up for any shortcomings.

Night shift front desk people needs to communicate with day shift. Called the night before telling them ill be in checking in after midnight and they never told day shift. when i got there they canceled my room. Even when ive already paid for the week, it shouldnt matter when i check in . The room is paid for already.

Warning: the outside doesn’t match the inside! The place looks cute and well kept from the outside but is actually dated and dirty once you open the door to your room. Stains everywhere, rust on all kitchen surfaces, no hangers, missing/broken towel bar, ripped shower curtain, etc. Next to impossible to get clean towels or housekeeping during our 3 night stay. Staff is not helpful and will lie to you about hangers being on order, housekeeping headed to your room next (but never showed up), pools are heated (they were like ice). The only positives: the bartender was very nice, the location on the beach was great, and plenty of lounge chairs on the pool deck.

The room we stayed in was one of the old cabana rooms beachfront. The room was not clean and had a bug problem. The air conditioning unit and the refrigerator was loud. The water in the shower was scalding hot and the water in the toilet was hot. The location is great, but would not recommend staying in one of the rooms in the older buildings. If we go back, I would definitely want to try one of the rooms in the new building.

I was told you get it right back. I was told you don’t get it back til3-5 business days. The heated pool was not heated at all. But over All great spot right in the beach.

It kind of made the whole stay unpleasant when we got there and was informed that their heated pool (they had another pool that was in the low 60s) and their hot tub wasn't working due to a busted pipe. We stayed four nights and nothing ever got fixed. The toilet kept breaking and not flushing right/running constantly. My fiance had to work on it because their maintenance couldn't get it working right. The TV in the other room was broken with no hope of being fixed. The view is nice. But I choose hotels based on amenities and the three most important are pool, hot tub, and ocean view and unfortunately 2 of the 3 were advertised but not available when we arrived with no chance of refund.

In addition, the pool said it closed at 10.. we were in front of the pool and at 11p/12a there were ppl in the pool making noise. Kids screaming, running around at 12a!!! When we arrived at check-in the main heated pool & hot tub was out of service. Then on arrival to our room, it was not clean and had a musty odor. There were stains on the bedskirts, the curtains had rips in them. We stayed at this exact hotel a few years ago & loved it but it had tremendously went downhill. We actually opted for a refund as soon as we seen the room conditions & found another place to stay. The staff were friendly and understanding. I would no longer recommend this hotel.

My room was on the bottom floor literally 10 steps from the walkway to the beach. I would have expected it to be covered with sand. They keep it clean. This hotel had a vintage feel and a fun location. One of the pools were closed for most of our stay, and the remaining pool was way too crowded to enjoy, as was the hot tub.
The staff was working hard trying to re-open the pool but we (my daughter) never got to enjoy it.
They did a nice job with keeping the outdoor areas clean and the outdoor bar was very nice, right in the beach.

Our family of 3 traveled far to get here. We were pleasantly surprised at our room. It was spacious & like a 1 bedroom apartment w a full kitchen. Balcony with a big window overlooks the pool and ocean at a shirt distance. Only problem & a big one was we couldn't enjoy the balcony because theres strong propane gas smell coming from next door. When we talked to the office about it they said its always like that.

We had an issue keeping housekeeping out of our room. We asked them twice not to clean our room until the end of our trip. We came back every day to signs they had been in the room. It wasn’t necessary a trust issue. It was just not wanting someone in our room when we were not there. Other than that everything was great. The bed was comfy. The Kitchenette was nice. And check in was quick and easy.

My family stayed 3 days and we could only swim in the pool the first day and then it was closed the next two days. Pool and hot tub. I had some disappointed kids

I was not pleased with the accommodations. Ive stayed before without a dog and in the main hotel and it wasnt a bad room. I had a dog this stay. The rooms across the street are bad. We had no tv, had to go request one, had to rig the toilet up to flush ourselves, the oven and stovetop smelled like they would catch on fire when u used it. The microwave had rust inside it. The beach is amazing and the pool was ok. Really liked the pool bar but the rooms across the street, the owners shoulf be ashamed for putting someone in.

Hotel is fine. The only con is the cabana rooms are inaccessible with the luggage cart. You have to then carry everything down a flight of stairs. And back up when you leave. Other than that it was a great stay. Friendliest staff ever.

Great location! Staff was very nice! It was a rough walk from the street to our room as the parking is all out front and they need to clean behind the beds and clean up the area around the steps there was a lot of trash with a bad smell. everything else was great.

Plenty of chairs around both pools to sit and lounge, 2 large pools both with a good view. Rates cant be beat for the locations. It is a older hotel so its not perfect but it comfortable and welcoming. Close to restaurants and walking distance to shops.

Location is fantastic and convenient. Right on beach. 2 pools and hot tub. Outdoor bar. Laundry on site but we didnt use it. Plenty of parking across the street. Comfy beds. It has everything uou need though decor could be updated. But we werent in room a ton. Very reasonable price for what you get. Only things id improve are extra blankets in room, frying pan for kitchen (only had pots), and there really should be some sort of sidewalk to cross the street but really cant complain. Well worth what we paid. Walking distance to shopping areas and piers and more. We would definitey stay here again.

Cockroaches in room- holes in walls with electrical wires present, smelled like marijuana when I showed up at the front desk. We had the first floor ocean view and the lights were broken in the outside hallways. It was scary as a woman with small children! We had to get another room at 4 am and the other room was a bit better but still gross. Sink drains missing, dust everywhere and windows so thin and dirty we heard tons of people outside. Housekeeping knocked 2 times and woke us up after we told the front desk to make sure they didn’t. Our sleep was horrible maybe 3 hours at best. This ruined our vacation and I wouldn’t recommend this property to my worst enemy.
