When I arrived at the hotel, the staff wasn't very friendly. They just did their job; there was no warmth or friendliness, just a simple \"hi\" and they focused on their computers. No welcome with a smile, nothing. They just did their job, gave me my key, and that was it.

Be cautious. We booked knowing it was non-refundable if we cancelled, but La Quinta cancelled the reservation and did not refund our money. My son arrived before me and tried to check in. He is 19, which is against the hotel’s rules, but this was not posted on Expedia. I was thirty minutes behind him but when they saw that he was under 21, the reservation was cancelled. They said the refund had to go through the third party (Expedia), and Expedia claims they attempted to convince them to refund, but it was declined and nothing else can be done.

I already sent a review that expkained everything. The suite upon checking in was flithly and missing furniture. No where chair to sit on and do your work. No coffee talble. Filthy floors, etc. The second suite was just as bad except they had a chair. Thank you...
We asked for a cleaner to com and sweep up and change out some dirty towels that had ckearly been used and left behind and no one came. We waited 3days so my husband went outvand bought a sweeper and pan. On the last night i went to the front desk again and asked for some clean towels. The girl there was the nicest, sweetest customer service and she ran to get us some towels. She had the proper customer service attitude instead ilof telling us that she was off duty like on the the one on the first night. 😳 A lot of time was waisted trying to get our room up to par so we woll not be staying at a La Quinta any time soon, if ever.

I booked this Hotel through Expedia, wanted to stay Saturday night (March 7th) out in PCB because we had a whole day and evening planned for things to do. I'm local, it was better to stay the night than to drive home. We wanted a day to have some fun before the spring break wave got here.

Arrived and checked in without a problem, I did the online check in and it was fast with the person working the counter in the lobby. We got to the room there was trash left over from the previous people and several things weren't thoroughly cleaned. Housekeeping is below par on that one, attention to detail lacking. Went to take a shower before going out to dinner there was about 15 seconds of hot water. That was it. Then it became lukewarm at best getting slowly colder. We stayed on the third floor so I could understand if there was lower water pressure which it was, but the lack of hot water has nothing to do with staying on the third floor. This is probably the worst thing, no one likes a lack of hot water.
With that major problem I went looking to tell someone the issue after, I couldn't find anyone so the people working there do a really good job of hiding at the random times no one is around in the lobby. There's no bell to ring or anything of that nature.

This hotel has Wifi, it's not free however. You get handed a piece of paper and follow the instructions on your phone. $4.99/night for the half plan and $9.99/night for the full plan if I remember right.

Would not recommend.

Cockroach was seen by my daughter while going to the bathroom. Upon further searching the room. There was bed bug splatters that look under the sheet casing. They moved us to the room next door and proceeded to move furniture out of the room while we tried to settle in next door. No compensation whatsoever just a sorry about that. I entered the hotel and they had a flashing light speaker loudly playing I believe rap/ hiphop music I could barely hear the front desk clerk, also I observed alot of indigent people hanging out side smoking and in the breakfast area, they look like they live there and not overnight guess, there also were a few loud arguments and slamming of doors, certainly would not stay here again

The room was supposed to be a mobility accessible room which we needed for my wife. The bed was 34\" tall which was very difficult for her to get in/out of. The bathroom had no cabinet or shelf to store toiletries on, only a small sink. No hooks close to the tub to hang towels on. omnly the towels bar that was across the room from the tub.

My stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham PCB Pier Park in Panama City Beach, FL, was overall positive – quiet, comfortable, and worth repeating. The front desk staff were super responsive and fixed issues quickly.

Room was clean with comfy pillows/mattresses and ample towels. Minor Florida quirks: one roach, slow-draining tub, and non-working room phone (had to report in person, but no big deal en route to breakfast). Maintenance resolved the roach and tub while we were out – efficient!

Breakfast was OK: bagels, muffins, make-your-own waffles, cereal, juices, biscuits, sausage. Eggs were oddly like egg salad Day 1, so we skipped Day 2 for McDonald’s.

Hotel has a pool (unheated), but with cold weather (snow flurries prior), staff recommended sister properties’ heated options. We enjoyed the oceanfront Beachcomber’s hot tub (a tad cool due to weather) – a great perk!

Despite small hiccups, I’d stay again for the value, comfort, and service.

The deluxe room was the same price as a regular room at the townplace hotel down the street and it felt more comfortable and i felt more ar home at the La Quinta. The Staff was amazing . I Cannot think of another time i stayed in a hotel where the staff was as friendly and as eager to help as the staff here. From the manager to the receptionist to housekeeping there was not a single person that i came in contact with that didn't make my stay more pleasant than it was ... anytime I'm in Panama City Beach or the surrounding area i will always stay at the La Quinta..

Disappointed with the pool not heated, elevator service area next to our room was loud, missing toiletries then said they were out of bar soap, got locked out of our room because they disabled our keycard at 10:00am instead of 11am checkout, then never apologized, asked for a staff member to inspect our room when we were checking out to verify there was no damage from our little dog because we honestly feared they would say there was to keep our pet deposit. The young girl did, however the manager( Marsha) was rude to me and said” I’m not giving you anything in writing on the room check out being ok, we are not charging you a fee. I’m telling you everything is good. Haven’t you ever stayed at a hotel before?” Very unprofessional and insulting demeanor from this women who claims to be named Marsha the manager. I say this because later after checking my credit card a few days later, I discovered that she charged my card for the pet fee of $25. that I had already paid cash for at the property. I have the receipt. I called the hotel and the woman that answered said that there is no one by the name of Marsha however she will leave a manager the msg to call me back. No one from the hotel returned my phone call. Very bad experience, so beware before booking with this location. We are sorry we did.

We've spent a few weeks in PCB on a job, and this location is convenient. The hotel is understaffed, likely due to it being off season, and always new poorly trained staff at the desk. What they lack in training they make up for in willingness and a good attitude. Some hiccups in service, but overall a good stay.

Right when you walk on the room it's toke and when we got there it was soaking wet and stayed that way the entire time. We had to use some of our towels as rugs. It was gross! On the second night about 6pm I went to front desk to request one blanket and 2 more towels. 3 hours later we made do bathing , 4 of us! And went to bed about 9.Nevwr got the extra I asked for.

This was a good place to stay for the price I paid. Rooms were clean, and the staff was nice. However I could barely hear the girl at the front counter because she was practically whispering. Also some things in the room need updated such as the bathtub which was starting to peel. And the bathtub faucet handle felt like it was going to break. However it wasn't a bad experience. This past week I had to come back to PCB for a 4 night stay. I checked in the afternoon of Tuesday August 26th. I noticed when I got to my room that the WIFI was not working. I made the front desk aware of the deficiency and was told it was working. I explained there was no connection to their one account name. I explained that I work for the Department of Commerce and I needed the WIFI connection to work while I was staying in PCM. They said they would turn in a referral to the IT department. I checked the next morning and they said they made the referral but hadn’t had a reply. I asked later in the day and no change.
The next morning (Thursday 28th) I came down to check out because I had to be somewhere with WIFI. I even showed the from desk clerk and housekeeping person in another room that there was in fact no WIFI connection even though they kept saying it was working. It was then they understand what I had been saying since Tuesday night.
I had to leave and relocate since there was no real solution to activate the WIFI service and I was already a day behind in my work expectations. It was then I was told I would have to pay for the next 2 nights even though my departure was due to unmet services offered by your hotel. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing; trapped in a hotel that does not meet the basic technological support or relocate somewhere else and pay additional fees.

Properties in some places inside were falling apart like in the bathrooms. It just all could be updated and could be a little cleaner, but the beds and the sheets were really clean and the room was really kept up well and everybody was really nice and if I needed anything, they were right there to help like my TV wasn’t working so I needed to be switched and they switched to me no problem.
