We love everything about Hibiscus! I only have o e small recommendation The two thresholds at the doors to flat 3 need to be finished. There are small wood slats that stick up and make it easy to trip entering. Otherwise everything was perfect! 10/10

The location was great and it was a very cute hotel and cute area. The room that we had was not much bigger than a postage stamp. I guess my fault for not paying more attention to the room description when I booked but good grief...$200+ per night is a little ridiculous fpr that size room. It had a queen size bed and there really wasn't room for much else. I couldn't even open my suitcase on the luggage rack. Also, the floor seemed dirty, luke there was sand everywhere. I get that it is a beach town but we were there for a wedding and didn't go to the beach so I know it wasn't sand that we tracked in.

The only reason 3 stars is our neighbors were obnoxiously drunk, so only a few hours of sleep. Had we not shared a common area, would have probably been fine. Will try staying again b/c place was super cozy-just bad neighbors.

The area and location are great, but the magnolia room could use some revamping. We stayed during a cold front and there was no heat in the room, so we grabbed the extra blanket out of the closet. After laying it out on the bed we realized it was full of sand that was now in the bed. The ceiling fan also couldn't be on without the light being on.

The room was very small with dated furniture. The shower head was too low with a stool in front of the shower making it difficult to get under the water stream. The worst thing was the mattress. My partner and I both rolled to the center of the bed. Neither of us had a good night’s sleep because of the mattress.

Hibiscus Coffee & Guesthouse is by far, one of my favorite places on this earth to rest my weary head at. I travel often and Hibiscus literally presented itself out of the clear blue. Rooms are clean as a whistle, bedding was spotless and tidy, rooms are tasetfully decorated in that distinct southern island beach vibe. Every person on the staff...wonderful, fabulous, kind, the best of the best humans working here.

We loved The Hibiscus. Our kitschy old Florida style room was adorable and a nice size. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was large, and the mini fridge seemed larger than most mini fridges. The Adirondack chairs on the porch outside of our room were comfortable and my husband loved shooting hoops at the basketball net. The included breakfast at Raw and Juicy, an organic vegetarian cafe, was delicious . We also enjoyed the early morning yoga outside the cafe. We walked to different little restaurants for dinner each night and sometimes took the free beach shuttle - although it is a short walk to the beach. If you like a slower pace and being in nature, this is your place. We are already booking a trip back.

Very friendly staff. We stayed in the Old Florida room. It was decorated in an Old Florida theme, very cute. Small kitchen and refrigerator. Just perfect for our needs. The bathroom was large for the size of the room. Our stay included a free breakfast in an adorable breakfast room, where you could order from a menu. The food was healthy and delicious. We took a yoga class and an ice water dunk which was refreshing! The walk to the beach is not far and there are shuttles available, but they frequently fill up the seats so you may have to walk. Parking on the beach is nonexistent. The walls are not well insulated so you may hear people outside on the deck or walking around above you, but it didn't affect our sleep. If you are a light sleeper it may be a problem. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and if parking on the beach improves we will definitely return.

After having spent a full week at the JW Marriott in Austin, it was definitely a step back in time. Very retro. It was comfortable for our 2-night stay. The complimentary breakfast next door at Raw and Juicy was definitely the highlight of our stay. We never saw any of the staff while we were there.

We enjoyed 2 nights in the Old Florida Room in April. It was spacious, clean and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The decor was delightfully unique and the breakfast at the on-site cafe was delicious. It was an easy walk to the beach and several places to eat. Bike rentals were close by and were a great way to explore the beach towns along the 30A. If ever back in the area, we would stay here again!

It’s like staying in a bed-and-breakfast on the people that take care of you are like family.. Warren was especially wise and sweet… And answered all of my questions… During the mist of a hurricane in Tampa, where all the refugees are crowding in Santa Rosa Beach hibiscus house was reasonably priced, especially being in the location. It is in Grayton Beach… I can’t thank them both enough for what they did and helped me out during my time in need… If you’re ever in Santa Rosa Beach, I would recommend them first before renting any hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay and would go again. The only complaint that we would have, and it's not really a big deal was the staff in the restaurant. They weren't very friendly except for the girl there. She was nice. The guys didn't really have a good attitude at all. The food on the other hand, was fabulous especially the acai bowl. Delicious!
