The city hotel enjoys an excellent location close to the headquarters of Volkswagen AG, Autostadt, the competence and experimental centre of Volkswagen AG, Phaeno, various designer outlets, Wolfsburg's main train station, the city centre and the A2/A39 motorways. Guests will find restaurants, bars and nightlife approximately 500 m from the city hotel.

The hotel is around 90 km from Hannover Messe trade fair grounds and Hannover Airport (HAJ), and guests can reach the city of Hannover by ICE train within 30 minutes and Berlin within 60 minutes. Conceived for demanding but price-conscious business and city travellers, the city hotel offers comfort, friendly service and fresh and light international cuisine.

Der Check-In war etwas verwirrend, da das Melia vormittags geschlossen ist und wir uns im benachbarten Innside Hotel melden mussten. Online Check-in und Check-out war sehr schnell und unkompliziert. Das Frühstück war lecker & das Personal sehr freundlich.
Das Hotel liegt gegenüber vom Bahnhof, was für unser super war.

excellent, clean, comfortable rooms, in a slightly quirky environment - there's no doubt where you are with VW Beetle memorabilia everywhere - photos on the walls in the lobby, rooms etc. Easy walking distance from Autostadt which is what most people staying here will be going to visit, and there's a designer shopping centre nearby too with lots of restaurants and plenty of choice.
Only minor issue was we arrive and parked our car in the underground car park, then walked to the hotel to find a 'closed' notice on it - but a message saying all bookings had been transferred to the InnHotel by Melia, next door (the garage is shared). Reception told is it was a holiday season, and not enough bookings to justify both hotels, so they shut one and just used the other. The review is therefore about a different hotel to the booking I made...!
I'm sure both have similar facilities and functions though.

I really enjoyed my stay, however it wasn't in the Hotel Wolfsburg Centrum. That hotel was closed when we arrived. There was a sign on the window telling us to go around the corner to another hotel. It wasn't a huge deal, but we were never informed that the hotel was closed (and had been closed for some time). It made checking in a bit more stressful as the new hotel had to transfer our booking into their system

It was very clean and functional. The restaurant seemed to have restrictive hours, and in the rooms, the towels were very small as were the duvets and only enough coffee to make one cup!

Modern hotel. The breakfast was very nice. Lots of choices for the US or European traveler. The restaurant had pizza and pasta and was tasty and reasonably priced. Parking is available for 7 euro per day on the underground parking garage. Right across the street from the train station, a science museum and an outlet mall. The Autostadt is walking distance. Great location for traveling to VW for work. The rooms were very clean. Very friendly staff. The TRYP was an excellent choice for business travel.

Great hotel.

Great hotel close to train station and town centre. Very clean and comfortable room. The hotel had a large party who were late leaving on the day I arrived so check-in was delayed but staff were very courteous, helpful and friendly. Recommended.

Ideal hotel for a visit to the Autostadt

We stayed for a visit to the Autostadt and it was ideal. Walking distance to both the train station and the Autostadt.

Staff were friendly and helpful and stored our luggage before and after our stay. They also booked is a taxi to the VW museum and offered us an umbrella due to the rain.

The room was small (especially with the addition of the camp bed for our son), but it was in good condition and very clean.

The included breakfast was absolutely excellent with so much choice. We couldn't believe it was free, it was so good!

Fab hotel, with spacious and well-appointed rooms. Nothing was too much trouble and great recommendations for the local area. There is parking nearby and across the street as their parking fills up quickly.

Wi-fi is slow and only one device/room for the free plan, so worth upgrading for 5 Euros for the speed and up to 3 devices.

Business hotel close to the train station and city

I was placed on the top floor which looked like a building site since some work was being done on this floor. I hadn't been told about this and when I mentioned it to staff I was told simply that work was needed - there was no offer to move me. There was a team of builders who had to use the only lift there and frequently took up the most of the room in it. The lift was very slow.

Positives - the hotel is just around the corner from the train station and a few minutes walk from the centre of town. It was clean and staff were very obliging. It seems to be very much for business use and when the work is completed, it should be very comfortable again.

Ich hatte einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im Hotel Meliá Wolfsburg! Das Zimmer war sauber, modern und gemütlich, genau richtig zum Wohlfühlen. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal – man fühlt sich wirklich willkommen. Die zentrale Lage ist perfekt, um die Stadt zu erkunden oder geschäftlich schnell überall hinzukommen.
Ich komme gerne wieder und kann das Hotel absolut weiterempfehlen!

Der Check-In Prozess war extrem schlecht. Sehr unfreundliche Mitarbeiterin. Zunächst hieß es, ich müsse umquartiert werden, weil das Hotel überbucht sei (obwohl ich Buchungsbestätigung und Zahlungsbestätigung vorweisen konnte). Dann sollte ich auf die Managerin warten (die nicht kam). Nach etwa 10 Minuten hieß es, es sei ein Fehler im System und \"... es sei doch alles gut gelaufen\" - das finde ich nicht.

Das Hotel ist nahe der Autostadt, was uns wichtig war und schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. Im Zimmer gab es keinen Kühlschrank und das Hotel hat nur einen Aufzug, was zu gewissen Wartezeiten führt. Es ist wohl eher auf Geschäftsleute ausgelegt. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung.

ハノーファーメッセに通うために予約しました。
メッセ迄1時間以内に行けるし、ハノーファーで食事して帰っても30分ぐらいと便利でした。
ホテルの近くにも、レストランがあります。
キヨスクは5分歩くとあります。
少し田舎ですが、良いホテルでした。

Sauberkeit: noch staubig aufm Tiach und am Fenster
Corona-Maßnahmen: widersprüchlich
Alle, was potentiell angefasst sind, müssen vom Hotel weggenommen werden. Kaffeetassen weg, Zahnputzbecher weg.
Türgriffe sind aber noch da? Sind Türgriffe nicht am meisten angefasst?

Am Anfang wurde von dem Personal gesagt, dass die Rechnung für Reisekostenabrechnung ausgestellt werden kann. Habe das Zimmer vor ihm übers App gebucht (ihm sogar davor gezeigt).
Aber am Ende meinte er, dass das Hotel keine Rechnung austellen kann, weil ich das Zimmer übers App bezahlt habe.
Nach hin und her können sie sich nur entschuldigen und meinten, dass ein Praktikant am Empfang einen Fehler machte.
Sie können keine Lösung geben, und bitten nur um Entschuldigung, die mir für die Reisekostenabrechnung überhaupt NICHT hilft.

Sauberes Zimmer mit Verbesserungsvorschläge

Zimmer ist sauber.
Jeden Tag wird angeboten, das Zimmer aufgeräumt zu werden.
Protokolle für Hygiene wurden top eingehalten. Personaller haben alle Maske auf und überall gibt es Desinfektionsmittel.

Verbesserungsvorschläge:
- Frühstücksbuffet fällt wegen Lockdown-Light aus und man bekommt nur Frühstück-to-go.
Es wäre besser, wenn man von einer Liste auswählen kann, was immer beim Frühstück gestellt wird, und sie werden in den Tisch mit Mindestabstand serviert.
- Gläser, Teelöffel, Wasser und Wasserkocher wurden genommen müssen extra angefragt werden.
Wäre besser, wenn sie direkt im Zimmer gestellt werden. Vor/gleich mit dem Check-In können sie direkt ins Zimmer gebracht werden, da das Zimmer von Anfang an bestimmt werden kann.

Hotel fermé!

En fait après avoir parqué la voiture au sous-sol, et appelé l'interphone pour accéder à l'ascenseur, pas de réponse. Après être monté à pieds à l'étage je me suis retrouvé devant une porte fermée, et en regardant plus en détail, découvert que l’hotel était fermé (Covid)
Et qu’une chambre a été réservé à 100 mètres au « Innside Wolfsburg «

Ma chambre était parfaite au « Innside » par contre un message pour avertir du changement pour aurais été le bien-venu.

Wir sind erst spät abends im Hotel angekommen und sind froh wieder los, um ein neues Auto abzuholen. Lage ist super direkt neben dem Hbf (man bekommt kein Lärm oder ähnliches im Zimmer mit) und nah an der Autostadt.
Frühstück haben wir nicht dazu gebucht, sondern schön in der Autostadt gefrühstückt.
Etwas hellhörig die Zimmer, aber ansonsten für den Zweck und den Preis sehr empfehlenswert :)

Friendly and good standard.

Gutes Hotel. Wir waren ein Wochenende da und im Grunde gab es nichts zu meckern. Zimmer war ok. Das Lichtkonzept etwas merkwürdig (grelles Bettlicht). Kleine Kaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer fand ich super, ebenso wie eine gratis Flasche Wasser. Sauber war es auch. Das Frühstück war 1a. Man musste nur zum Frühstück ins Nachbarhotel (Schwesterhotel). Dafür musste man aber nur ins nebenliegende Gebäude. Dort blieb kein Wunsch offen. Sehr lecker und freundliches Personal. Trotz Nähe an eine Hauptstraße bemerkte man dies bei geschlossendem Fenster nicht.

Godt hotel ligger perfekt-betjening under middel

Indtjekning - tjaa, vi var da noget i tvivl om vedkommende ved skranken havde tid til at tjekke os ind, ingen goddag eller bare et lige et øjeblik så skal jeg være der, nej vi blev ignoreret til hun havde tid.
Var baren åben?? Tjaa det ved vi ikke, men baren lå i forlængelse af receptionen, baren var bemandet lige til vi kom derhen, så gik vedkommende og kom aldrig tilbage, vi fik ingen information fra receptionisten og baren var åben eller ej.
Der var ikke plads til alle gæster ved morgenmaden, søndag morgen. UHA det var skuffende at komme ned til morgenmad og finde halvt fyldte borde, hvor hverken personale eller de øvrige gæster, havde tænkt sig at give plads til flere. Det var muligt at lave plads til alle, men det skete ikke. Endvidere havde et størrer selskab fået lov til at reserverer det MEGET stor bord til dem selv - det STOD TOMT HELE TIDEN, men VI SAD UDENFOR I BAREN og spiste vores morgenmad, og så at der stadig kom flere gæster som heller ikke kunne få et bord - det er dælme ikke godt nok.
Selve udvalget af morgenmadsbuffeten var særdeles god, Deres morgenbrød lå i den gode ende, sammenlignet med danske rundstykker.
Værelset var godt, ikke stort men godt indrettet, trægulv.
Hotellets beliggenhed er perfekt, max. 10 min gang til Autostadt og Outlet, ca. 15 min gang til midtbyen, men fin gågade, mange butikker og skønt mellem størrelse julemarked.
