Absolutely Fabulous!

I benchmark a 5 star experience against chains like the Peninsula. This was a total surprise. Ski weekend and this hotel is perfect. The staff is all in sync and have consistent, excellent professionalism and are just nice people. So many conveniences here for skiers. Right at a chair lift. On site ski rental. Parking. Shuttle. I actually liked the hotel food!!! Nice bar. It really surprised me. The only thing i could possibly critique is the room.doors are not totally soundproof but we didnt have any problems. Will stay again.

The room was clean but the floor was full of dust that wasn’t very pleasant. The bed cover left so much loose hair on the bed. The bad quality bed cover.

Certainly a five star hotel

It certainly exceeded my expectation. I was not too sure due to it's rather low ratings at hotel.com in a low 8. Since it's just about the one or two five star hotels here so I took a chance on it. Yes, it's a five star which comes with all the convenience: a ski rental shop on site, a ski locker and access to a chair lift to come up. Breakfast is so so and coffee can be better. I like the room very much

This is the right place

The hotel is great. The thing is that if you are coming out to ski there is no better place. Forfait is outside the hotel. Lockers to keep all your equipment and spa to relax after a long day out.

Quite clean and slightly outdated big rooms. Variety of cafes and restaurants onsite. A little bit far from city Center and ski lift. During 3 days we had couple issues, so I couldn’t say service was perfect. Hope it was bed lack. Overall is is good hotel

Lovely Valentines weekend!

Amazing hotel, five star service. Lovely welcome drink on arrival. Room was quite small despite an upgrade and spa was 30€ for an hour in a very small swimming pool and steam room. Great shuttle service to main lift.

We were extremely disappointed with this hotel & the fact that it is even an option to book on Expedia seeing as this is in absolutely no way a 5 star hotel. To begin with I specified in the reservation that we wanted one bed not 2 separate beds I also immediately contacted the hotel via your app to repeat this & let them know we wouls be arriving late. I called the hotel the day before to confirm & they said no problem, however upon our arrival they put us in a room with 2 separate beds & said they could not help us solved this. The staff was completely useless & not accommodating at all especially for a “5 star hotel” the room also had a terrible smell that was unbearable!
We had dinner at the bar upon arrival only to find a large group of drunk people wandering around making noise & then this morning the hotel sold us the chairlift pass which did not even work so
we had to wait over half an hour at the chairlift for someone to come & resolve it. Once we returned to the hotel we notified the staff about this only to get a rude response saying it was not their fault. Overall this hotel & experience with Expedia has been an absolute disappointment & I will have to think twice about making any future reservations with Expedia.

“A good hotel for skiers”

Everything about the hotel is very good - lovely Christmas ambience, our room size was adequate & with a great view of the snow mountains. However the hiousekeeping service is somewhat haphazard. The towels replacement was inconsistent, likewise with the toiletries. That said, a call to the reception rectified the problem promptly.

Excellent location away from the crowd but with all facilities at your doorstep. A little pricey though and not what I would call 5 star. The pillows are terrible and they could really do with a complimentary bottle of water at least in the room! 7/10

Fantastic hotel. Right on the slopes with a ski shop in the hotel. Buy your lift ticket at the front desk, rent your skis, go out front and start skiing. Could not be more convenient. Breakfast buffet was excellent as well. Will be returning for sure.

Lovely hotel, checked in mid morning but the room wasn't ready so went off to ski, having left our luggage in the car and given the key to the garage staff. Returned from the slopes, went to reception to be told that hadn't had my passport info and that I hadn't checked in and needed to do so again. My passport and luggage were in my car, but when I asked for my car key, they had lost it. An hour later they found it in another rooms pigeon hole !
Very disappointing reception service as we are used to the super efficient system we usually receive in Vincci hotels. A la carte dinner was lovely, and breakfast good so no complaints there. All in all lovely hotel , great stay , tainted only by the shambles at reception.

Great option

Overall, a very good option for a ski vacation. Conveniently located with a lift right outside of the hotel’s front door. The shuttle runs frequently and is very accommodating of guest needs. Great breakfast buffet so the board option is recommended.

We had a very pleasant 5 nights, in a nearly empty hotel, skiing conditions were not good until the day we left first thing when they were perfect. We had two 20 year old and two 18 year old children with us, and it was pretty dull for them, no pool etc which we knew when we booked. The resort was extremely quiet too. But it was clean and comfortable and the barman kept us entertained. Great ski in ski out location. Not sure how it is a 5 star hotel though, I would say 4 star.

This Hotel is not quite 5 star however a very good 4 star rating would be more appropriate.Myself and my daughter had a fantastic stay.The staff where well mannered and helpful.The accomodation was clean comfortable and well maintainedThe restaurant is a little exspensive but hey its a ski resort.The ski hire shop was good and the lift pass available at the reception all cut down on hassle.A ski lift outside the door and ski in ski out are all added attractions.One downside is parking is exspensive at the hotel carpark and the resort as a whole is difficult for parking.We stayed over a long weekend the week days are much better the weekend was very very busy.

Rumakiyya Hotel Review

The hotel has very good facilities, and does its best as it is quite a way from the centre of the resort. There is a regular bus service, and a ski chair lift operates in the day. The rooms are nice and the staff are friendly.

The food is good. One gripe is that, while the evening buffet is good value at 25 euros (Feb 2012), we asked to just have a first course (a salad) but we would have had to pay full price. The hotel could show some flexibility here. Otherwise, no complaints.

Poor quality and not 5 star!

We like Sierra Nevada and stayed in other hotels here but would not return to this one. The street where the hotel is located is grim and in need of repair plus removal of much graffiti which has appeared since we were last here.

From arrival to departure the reception lacks that quality you expect at a 5 star location. you have to carry your own bags (8 of them) from the car to the reception and then to the room. This smacks of a 3 star hotel hotel. No concierge and the receptionist always occupied doing something else.

The restaurant offers good food but doesn't cook to instruction. We ordered one steak well cooked and it came rare. Upon returning it, it was away 12 minutes by which time everyone else had finished and was ready for dessert. Unacceptable in a hotel that claims to be be 5 star. Dont claim this when you are a 3 star hotel because all that happens is that the customer is disillusioned, as we were.

The rooms are clean and well presented but the noise is incredible! You can hear actual voices not just noise from the rooms either side. I am a light sleeper and could not rest until around 1.30am when everyone had returned and quietened down. Unacceptable is a hotel that charges this sort of price per night, I have stayed in quieter guest houses and homes!

The courtest free bus is dirty inside.

Upon departure, again, we had to carry our own (8) bags to the car and as we didnt use the expensive garage it was covered in snow despite being April.

A very comfortable and well run Hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

One of the only ski out ski in hotels in the resort. You can hire skis on site and the staff will get your lift pass....what more can you need!!!

Wonderful stay for our Anniversary

We had a fantastic stay for two nights. Room was massive, lovely and warm. Really comfy beds with lovely quality linen. As were the towels & Robes. Bathroom was great, Bath with Shower. Double basins, separate Toilet & Bidet. Loads of free toiletries. The Room & Bathroom were spotlessly clean.
We had half Board and both Breakfast & Dinner was delicious with great choice. food quality was really good, my Husband should know having been an Executive Chef for many years.
Great location away from the Town with a courtesy private Bus that will take you down and pick you up which we used on both days with no problem, about a 10 minute drive away.
You could access the slopes directly from the Hotel door almost.
We had a lovely Steam in the Spa which you book for private half hour sessions. They have a nice lounging area for when you come out with water & Herbal Teas.
The Hotel is beautiful with Character & Charm and spotlessly clean.
All staff were friendly & helpful and had at the least a little English if not better.
As we were there for only 2 nights we did not really watch the TV only a quick look at BBC News which is free but you do need to pay to access any films/music via the TV also internet in the room but you could use internet in the lounge area free.
2 nice Bars to drink at and lounge with Log Burning Fire.
We felt totally at home and relaxed there which is exactly what we wanted from our stay.
We will be returning & would have no hesitation in recommending.

-excellent customer service, most staff spoke at least a little English
-great shower pressure

CONs:
-rooms feel cheap for the price
-thin walls (also had thin walls at Vincci Maritimo in Barcelona, may be their MO)
-remote location is difficult to reach (they do have a free shuttle though) which makes the town below pretty inconvenient.
-Queen bed = 2 twin beds pushed together.....but this happens a lot in Europe
-Overpriced (but tasty) dinner at restaurant

OVERALL - We enjoyed our stay here, but would likely stay in the town next time. Too far from everything and not nice enough for the price tag. There are many many hotels to choose from at this resort, but expedia only lists a few.

Fantastisk hotel. Så hyggeligt og komfortabelt, alt er der tænkt på. Fik Mountain View upgrade on arrival og hotellet ligger perfekt for en skiferie på et par dage. Der er service shuttle any time man har behov der kører dig til liften på få minutter. Maden er fantastisk - kan anbefales alene for en getaway hvor god mad og afslapning er i fokus. Kommer helt sikkert tilbage.

El hotel es una maravilla, tiene un encanto especial, entorno privilegiado.
Un trato excelente por parte de todos sus trabajadores.
Servicio de Transfer a pradollano gratuito, aunque en la puerta está el telesilla.
Día de salida te dan un habitación de cortesía para poder ducharte, y después de una mañana intensa de ski es perfecto.
He ido en varias ocasiones y siempre q pueda repetiré en este hotel.

It is not hotel that is the problem it is the staff and the terrible service. The staff doesnt care about good service and making the customers satisfied.
We asked for a quiet room and got a super nous room, water pops making sound all night and people outside because the room where near the staircase where the people pass. On Top there was a huge smell of Marijuana in the corridor. The manager was not at all seviceminded, prefere arguing then apologizes and offer us to change room but we already packed up everything..

El mejor hotel en sierra nevada, calidad - precio el mejor, las habitaciones super amplias y muy bonitas.
El staff inmejorable, te ayudan en todo, estan atentos a todo lo que necesitas.
Todo el dia hay Cava , zumo , gominolas , chocolate caliente para despues de esquiar , pan dulce y todo cortesia del hotel.
Cada año vamos y este vez el hotel ha superado mis expectativas, cada dia mejor.
El desayuno buffet muy completo.
El spa maravilloso.

A nice hotel with high service level. Beds unfortunately are very hard and not comfortable for being a 5 star hotel. The breakfast is amazing but the dinner options and restaurants are far from 5 star. Great shuttle service. Food needs to be taken down in the village and not at the hotel. If you are vegetarian or vegan there are extremely few options.

Härligt skidhotell.

Ski in ski out med otroligt vacker utsikt i härlig miljö à la alphotell. Parkering finns både på hotellet och utanför hotellet. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. God mat. Förbättringar finns dock att göra. Uteserveringen på terassen med fantastisk utsikt skulle kunna vara så mycket bättre med snabbare service, det tog alldeles för lång tid, vid vårt första besök fick vi leta rätt på bartendern som fixade dricka och sen kom menyn men kom aldrig tillbaka för att ta upp beställning. Nästa besök blev lite tokigt på grund av språkförbistring men det tar som sagt för lång tid vilket gjorde att flera gäster vände och gick därifrån. Dock väldigt rar personal. Man vill styra gästerna till att använda en dörr som är svår att se från utsidan, märk upp den eller låt den stå öppen då det finns en glasbur på insidan som håller kylan borta. Dörren man inte vill att gästerna ska använda är det ju bara att sätta upp en skylt på ”Staf only”
Det smälldes en hel del i dörrarna till hotellrummen på natten p.g.a. respektlösa hotellgäster men från hotellets sida skulle man kunna sätta på något i dörrkarmen som dämpar smällarna något.

We hebben echt genoten van ons verblijf, ligging direct aan de piste was zalig.
Mooie kamer met mooi uitzicht op de bergen, personeel super vriendelijk
Ontbijt was genoeg keuze en kon ook a la carte bestellen, wat top was.
Restaurants waren allemaal heel lekker
Één minpuntje, ik vind het spijtig dat je in zo een hotel nog eens apart moet extra betalen om een uurtje in t zwembad te mogen

Hotel 5 estrellas

Desde nuestra llegada todo fue perfecto. Tanto el servicio de parking como el check-in. Las habitaciones son muy amplias y cuentan con todas las comodidades. El telesilla está a 10 metros de la puerta del hotel, lo que es muy cómodo para bajar al telecabina. Además cuenta con guardaski en el mismo hotel, por lo que no tienes que subir ni botas ni skis a la habitación. Algo a destacar es que el hotel cuenta con servicio de transporte desde el hotel a pradollano prácticamente todo el dia y a cualquier hora, ideal si quieres bajar a las pistas o a cenar a la parte baja.

2:a gången vi bodde där. Hotellet är riktigt bra och trevligt. Fin service och bra rum. Bastun var trasig när vi var där vilket var trist. Resturangen (förutom frukosten som är superb) behöver bli mycket bättre. Maten är inte i samma klass som övriga hotellet. Då har vi prövat à la carte och barmat inte menyn som ingår om man önskar. Bo där, men ät någon annanstans!

Maravilla estancia para viaje de esquí en pareja.

Maravillosa estancia para un viaje de esquí en pareja. Hotel acogedor y cuidado, con perfecto ambiente de montaña. Fácil acceso a pistas con un telesilla al lado de la puerta del hotel y servicio de guardaesquís y de alquiler de equipación de esqui dentro del propio hotel. Merece la pena reservar habitación con vistas a la montaña - atardeceres preciosos. Servicio del hotel fantástico. Desayuno muy variado y de calidad. Volveremos a este hotel de repetir en Sierra Nevada sin duda alguna.

Hotell med perfekt läge och hög service-nivå

Hotellet ligger helt perfekt till för ski-out (ski-in kräver att man planerar när man är på \"högre höjd\" i skidsystemet) och man åker ned till byn där de två stora gondolerna tar dig upp till skidsystemet.
När du vill avsluta skiddagen nere i byn så går det en stolslift (transport) upp till hotellets gavel och skulle även den hinna stänga så har hotellet utmärkt (fri) shuttle service upp till hotellet.
Hotellet har en bra klass och service är god. Trevlig bar med utrymme för dart och biljard eller bara sitta framför brasan. Vädret var inte tillräckligt bra när vi var där men det finns även utmärkt balkong utanför baren som förmodligen är super nice att sitta på vid bra väder.
Vi hade halvpension och frukosten är världsklass på - allt finns!
Middagen - tre-rätters- hade dock lite varierande kvalitet och vin valen var inte helt perfekta samt att språkkunskaperna (engelska) var aningen svaga vilket gjorde det svårt att kommunicera. Bli inte avskräckt för detta men det når inte hotellets \"5-stjärniga\" nivå.

Ubicación del hotel fantástica. Calidad de servicio muy bueno, todos muy atentos. El spa con masajes muy buenos y con un baño turco que se puede reservar individualmente o para la familia.
Lo único que falla es la limpieza de la habitación. Deberían tener mejor supervisión en este aspecto.

Bra läge, ubderbar terrass men tråkiga/slitna rum.

Mysigt hotell i fantastisk miljö. Ett minus att hotellet inte kunde hjälpa oss med kontanter för att kunna lösa ett liftkort ner till Dalen. Rummen kändes lite ”gamla och tråkiga”. Terrassen bredvid backen var magisk. Bra restaurang och frukostbuffé.

Spa avdelningen liten och inte alls vad jag förväntade mig.
Bra frukost även middagen var bra men efter 5 kvällar var man glad att lämna

Läget var lite omständigt, ski out ok men ski in fungerade mindre bra då det endast fanns en röd backe för att nå hotellet, reste med barn. Lyhört på rummet mot korridor och avlopp. Fick information om att man kunde stå gratis utanför, fick en p-bot på 200 euro pga av snöröjning, hotellet tyckte inte att det var deras uppgift att informera om det, trots att jag ringde innan för att få information om just parkering. Surt. Trevligt hotell, trevlig personal och vacker miljö. Nästa gång i Sierra Nevada satsar vi nog på något hotell intill torget, för smidighetens skull.

God oplevelse

Vi havde nogle skønne dage i Sierra Nevada. Vi nød især terrassen på hotellet og den gode lokation hotellet har i forhold lift lift.
