OMG AMAZING. The loveliest resort I've ever seen and been to. Incredibly helpful staff. The restaurants were all fabulous and had almost every cuisine you could ask for.

Loved the events, parties, music, atmosphere and the weather was perfect at New Year's. All the different pool options were great, and the bars were easy to access and order anything you'd like.

We're definitely coming back!

The property is spread vast across four resorts and is absolutely stunning. Its great that staying at TRS you get to access all amenities across all the resorts and it is easily accessible through carts. The best part about the stay is the butler service and our butlers Gustavo and Alfredo were amazing.

TRS is the only adults-only property so it is weird that it does not have a swim-up bar and we had to go to other resorts for the swim-up bar which were full of kids. Although there are many restaurants over the four properties, the food was pretty underwhelming. It is also not ideal that you have to make a dinner reservation usually a day in advance so you end up spending a lot of time deciding where to go and then the food ends up not being good and you can't go anywhere else which defeats the whole point of an all-inclusive. It takes forever to get to the beach from TRS and it was very very dirty.

We booked a private romantic dinner on the beach which was setup great and the food was also good. However, they charged us almost as much as the experience for the pictures they clicked (which is a LOT!) and when we asked the management for pictures as complimentary since we had already paid for the experience, they said they can't do anything because the pictures are handled by another company. This was very very disappointing.

After months of requesting a third-floor ocean view room - clearly noted in our original reservation and reiterated through multiple emails with the resort - we were ultimately assigned a second-floor ‘ocean view’ room. The actual view is primarily the back of a building that faces toward the ocean, which suggests that ‘ocean view’ may refer more to a room category than to the view itself.
When we inquired about the possibility of being moved to a third-floor room, our request was dismissed with a repeated “subject to availability”. After speaking with a manager we were able to move to an acceptable room the following day.
Surely making a reasonable request months in advance is enough notice for execution.

This resort is the adult only section in a large property that contains four resorts called the Palladium group. It is marketed it as an adult only resort, but we saw a good amount of kids the entire time. The room was the best part about our stay, they even serviced our room twice a day. The property was quite picturesque, almost too large. It’s about a 30 minute walk to the beach, which I find pretty ridiculous. There are golf carts that take you everywhere, and can be requested through an app. Sometimes it takes longer to wait for the golf carts then to just walk there. The food and restaurants were the biggest letdown of the trip. I traveled with a group of seven and the team here at TRS barely accommodated for us. At first, they were telling us we would have to eat separately, which is nowhere on their website. The food quality was just all right, with some items being completely inedible. Both of the TRS pools were beautiful, but the drink service was slower than other resorts we’ve been to. All of the bars were well stocked, with higher quality liquor than any of the other properties adjacent to TRS. We did enjoy the spa, which was as good if not better than many all-inclusive resorts. Overall, I would say I had an all right experience, please make sure to request more information before booking from the resort.

Infinity pool was relaxing, but don't expect a lively experience and no swim up bar was dissapointing. I purchased the Jr. Suite in Villa 61 and location was great but not worth the increased price for a mini-pool you won't really use. E-Butler was onhand for all your needs and room stocked constantly. No beach to really speak of and seawood was alot and stinky. Food was better at buffets than the restaurants requiring reservations.

Beautiful landscaped resort, very clean and very friendly staff. The decor leans modern sexy, which we thought came off as dated, and cold, but still comfortable. New furniture and lighting in restaurants and lobby would be a positive change. Fragrance in main lobby smells cheap and artificial. Awful walking through there. Please change.
Depending on type of package you booked, you can access all the palladium resorts adjacent to TRS. This was a plus as you can try other pools, lounges, restaurants etc. albeit the other resorts are family friendly, only TRS is adults only. Our only issue we experienced was when we purchased the upgrade for $450USD, it was our understanding that we were able to use any and all pool cabanas at any property. Twice we were stopped and told we had to pay for use of cabanas that were front row pool or front row ocean view. We felt that was not clear and not worth the upgrade.
Chic Cabaret is an excellent, professional singing and dance show. Well worth it. The shows at the other properties are not the same caliber as shows and activities at the TRS resort.
Food at all the properties were very good, excellent sanitation and presentation. TRS has the best restaurants. Outdoor breakfast at Helios, El Gaucho and Le Boheme for dinners were exceptional.
Our only wish is there were more daily evening activities. Chic cabaret and Bingo, both events you have to pay for only show on certain days. The days without shows, you are left with nothing to do.

We had an excellent 10-day stay at TRS Yucatán in Mexico. From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional — the resort, the food, the atmosphere, and especially the staff.

The service throughout our stay was outstanding. Every member of the team was friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making sure guests had the best experience possible.

A special mention has to go to our butler, Moses. He was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he went above and beyond to make our stay smooth and enjoyable. His attention to detail, kindness, and professionalism really made our holiday extra special.

We truly had a fantastic time and would highly recommend TRS Yucatán to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway. We would definitely love to return.

Beautiful location and a wonderful resort, but what truly made our trip special was the incredible staff. Daniela and the entire team at the tequila tasting were fantastic—they made the experience both fun and informative.

Another highlight was Islas, who picked us up from the TRS lobby in a golf cart. He gave us a mini tour of the resort, pointing out notable locations along the way and even took some wonderful photos of us. What could have been a simple ride back to our villa turned into a truly memorable experience.

We also had a couples massage at the spa with Viviana and Beatriz, and they were amazing. The experience was incredibly relaxing, and they were both so warm and hospitable while giving excellent massages.

Lastly, our butlers, Jesus and George, were always helpful and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay.

The staff are super accommodating in any way possible. They always went above and beyond for making hard to find reservations, helping with the room needs outside the hours, making personal recommendations for the area attractions, etc.
The resort is beautiful and is sprawling (includes 5 different resorts, with one being your primary).
They have great shows and great options for dining or snacking or relaxing.
Excellent and fun workout activities.

The rooms were nearly spotless and the staff went above and beyond to respond to my and my guest's requests. The issues I did have were with the initial information provided by the resort staff regarding the military action being taken by the Mexican authorities to suppress the attacks of the cartels located throughout Mexico including in Quintana Roo where the TRS Yucatan hotel was located. Initially there was a lack of information which lead to anxiety and fear of what was ocurring outside the resorts property. The staff did provide more information after I made a direct requests for information from the hotel staff. This was quickly provided when two supervisors put me and my guest at ease reassuring us that the situation had been controlled when they visited my room to inform us in person. I felt this information could have been provided in a quicker and more efficient manner but in the end the two hotel supervisors who visited my room to provide this information did respond and were attentive to our requests. My only issue was that they should have been more proactive providing this information without guests having to have requested it from them. This could have been managed in a better way in my opinion. This is not so much a complaint but more of a recommendation so that the hotel improves their communication for matters such as this one in the event something like this ever repeats itself.

The most helpful staff ever! Shout out to Fernanda who made all of our reservations for dinner and made my Moms 80th birthday very special. Maggie and Ramon, our butlers were prompt and helped us with all of our room requests. People of Palladium fitness/activity instructors Daniella and David were awesome!! Jose Luis was super helpful at the front desk. Wish I could name everyone we dealt with. Can’t say enough about how friendly and accommodating all of the staff were. Resort was wonderful! Overall we enjoyed ourselves. Our first room had several issues. You could see right through to the toilet and we had to leave the room when the other went to the bathroom lol. A lot of the drawers and furniture were pretty beat up, but overall things are very clean. We had a Jacuzzi suite, but there was little to no privacy. The curtains didn’t even close all the way and we faced the road and until about 2 o’clock in the morning, trucks were driving by delivering room service and it was very loud. We decided to move to a cabana. It was much better although the outside shower had no hot water. And if you did not get a cabana that was towards the middle, people staying in the rooms across from you to look down straight into your shower. Room service was good, but sometimes it took a few calls to get things taken care of. So many pushy rambling sales pitches. They were always trying to up charge or offer packages. We somehow got suckered into a “welcome breakfast” upon arrival where we ended up in a two hour sales pitch and we’re desperate to get out of it, but they just kept talking so that sucked up a huge part of our first morning. But, the pools were great. The bars were great, and most of the people were very friendly with the exception of a few. The resort shuttles were great. The food was good, but not exceptional. The butler service is nice. You need your phone with you everywhere which sucks, all menus are digital.

Check in took over an hour of us sitting and waiting in the lobby. We upgraded through Expedia for a pool view except you are not able to actually see the pool because the view is blocked by trees. The rooms are nice and the staff is friendly and helpful. I would only recommend certain restaurants while others were subpar. The pool is beautiful. Extremely large place if you like to explore

Disappointing Maintenance and Predatory Sales Tactics

While the staff is friendly, the management of TRS Yucatan is disappointing. We stayed in two different rooms; both were only \"surface clean\" with visible mold in the bathrooms and broken plumbing. The grounds are poorly kept—the stagnant decorative ponds were green with algae and smelled terrible.

The dining experience was underwhelming. Whether at the \"fancy\" restaurants or poolside, the food was cheap and lacked flavor. However, our butler, Carlos, was the highlight of the trip. He was attentive, proactive, and truly cared about our experience.

Warning to travelers: Be wary of the high-pressure upselling. We accepted a \"2-for-1\" massage deal offered by the concierge, only to be forced to pay full price for both at checkout. The \"Vacation Club\" presentation is also a trap—they promised an hour but tried to force a much longer commitment. We felt constantly profiled and pressured for money. We will not be returning to this resort group.

Staff was great, overall experience was not 5/5 like last year. Our AC was not working this year, room was hot and damp. All of our clothes and towels were damp, and had a smell to accompany the moisture. Initially staff said AC was not working because of outside temperature, and told us all of the rooms were the same. Ac guy came in room with a temp probe that showed room temp at 22° even though thermostat was set to 19°. He said this was normal, but AC worked well last year and we were cool and comfortable at night then. After further complaints and inability to sleep, they agreed to switch rooms to the adjacent room- which had the sane problem, additionally the fridge was warm and jacuzzi didnt work. We had to fill it with the shower head which took over an hour. The other problem was the mattress- both my wife and I noticed the quality was not the same as our prior experience. Both of our backs ended up sore. Food was amazing, staff we're great- but the room and AC were terrible. Weve decided our next stay will not be at TRS.

Facilities & Restaurants There were plenty of places in the lobby to enjoy billiards and games, and the distance to the bars and restaurants wasn't far, which was great. Especially, having a jacuzzi here was a big plus — on chilly days (it was very cold during my visit), I could warm up my body, unlike other hotels. I visited three restaurants, and in all of them, the food quality, freshness of ingredients, and taste were perfect. The only downside was the Italian restaurant, where the food came out very late. That day was a Saturday, and there was a wedding with many guests, so I think the orders were backed up, causing the delay. Except for weekends, food was served at a normal speed. Usually at all-inclusive hotels in Cancun, even the buffet food isn't fresh or tasty, but here the food was all fresh, and the taste and quality were noticeably far superior to other hotels.
Value for Money Considering the room, cleaning condition, food, pools, beach maintenance, and the attitude of all staff combined, this can be considered a top-tier hotel in terms of value for the price. I personally think it's worth returning to.
Pros It provides the absolute best service for guests. Also, they give $200 credit per night stay, which can be used for golf, massages, or purchasing items — this is a very strong advantage.
Cons There are no particular cons. Aside from the slightly slow food service at the restaurant, it's truly the best hotel.

The downfall were some of the alacart restaurant meals were subpar. Specifically the steaks. Overall it’s a very beautiful property and you can tell the staff take great pride in its maintenance.

Overall Impression: A beautiful stay marked by exceptional dining
experiences and a few service inconsistencies.

Dining Excellence: Helios was the consistent star of our trip for
breakfast (the chia seed pudding is a must-try) and dinner. A special
shout-out to Chef Sabine and Manuel for making our anniversary dinner
magical with personalized decorations.
Entertainment: Chic Cabaret is a world-class experience. Sonia
provided excellent service through a spectacular 7-course meal. The
anniversary shout-out from the MC was a fantastic touch. Lunch buffet
at La Hacienda and La Laguna were great.

Leisure & Relaxation: The Zentropia Spa facilities (sauna/hot tub)
were top-notch. We also thoroughly enjoyed the infinity pool and the
Palladium Travel Club Bali beds for a more exclusive beach vibe.

Standout Staff: Ricardo (Tentazione), Renner (Poseidon), Manuel (La
Paisana), Ruben (Capricho) provided great service.
Ramon (Butler): Efficiently handled our off-site logistics.
Gustavo and Alexis(Butler): Onsite reservations/transport/services par
excellence

Room & Property Observations
The Room: Generally good, though the AC runs quite cold. We initially
noticed some cobwebs, but maintenance cleared them immediately.
Shower Tip: We noticed water seeping onto the floor during showers;
switching to the rainshower head seemed to resolve the pressure/splash
issue.

The food was average, but hey we didn't get sick! The entire stay was a sales pitch for the time share program and the vacation club. The moment you get there they sell you a $200 a day upgrade which you essentially need to get a pool chair. Getting a reservation was time-consuming and availability was scarce. The beach had actual garbage and seaweed scattered. There aren't enough pool chairs to serve guests and the salt water pool (ocean tide pools) are also filled with litter although they would be beautiful if not. They just don't maintain what otherwise would be a great hotel. The one bright spot is the concierge team is actually great.

It's hard to choose one favorite thing when everything at this resort is absolute perfection. From the gorgeous grounds to the amazing food to the cleanliness of the resort- everything was spot on! But, I do have to say the very best thing about this resort is the staff. They make every guest feel important and are some of the kindest people I have ever met. They are the reason this was our 4th visit with our 5th planned in October.

The resort was absolutely everything! Food was amazing! Staff were really friendly and made our stay extra special! Shoutout to our butlers Fernanda Prichardo, Eric and Paola who ensured I had a special birthday trip! I would definitely return

Everything from the staff, the room, and the property were amazing. Our butlers Moses and Itzel were so incredibly nice and helpful. Every employee we came across was happy, helpful, and friendly. We don’t typically return to the same resorts as we like to try new places but we are already planning a second trip to TRS.

Our stay was absolutely AMAZING!!! I upgraded my stay and was worth every penny! The Chic Show/floating breakfast etc all were amazing, though it rained on breakfast day which couldn’t be helped. I do hope more night entertainment like DJs on the TRS side/silent party not in the kids area. Our butlers Antonio, Miguel and Francisco were so sweet and made sure everything down to the detailed were amazing! We plan to go back and try to get the master suite, but is unavailable on Expedia unfortunately.

The resort was absolutely gorgeous and perfect for a natural getaway. The resort had much less of a tacky vibe compared to other resorts we’ve seen, and the check-in and dining options were giving off a higher-end luxury vibe. We are huge fans of wildlife so we were pleased to spot a ton on the resort! The beach was extremely walkable, unlike what we expected based on other reviews. There were golf cart shuttles everywhere but walking to every place aside from dinner was our form of daily exercise. Definitely book this resort if you enjoy walking through nature and want a more quiet and tranquil getaway. The staff here beat any other resort we stayed at in Mexico too— they were awesome!

Room smelled of mold and check in pressured us to tell our friends anout resort via expedia. Staff was outstanding. Butlers Moises, Carlos and Itzel went above and beyond and Luigi at the Infinity pool took great care of us. Julio and Luis were excellent bellmen who drove us to check out and our room at check in with care. The Infinity pool has some safety concerns as there is a huge chip in the stairs by Io bar that i cut my foot on and you cant see the stairs well under water. Bright tape outlining the stairs would help. The stargazing acttivity is not to be missed, such great experts that TRS brought in! One main issue is that the buffet food is not hot or even warm, very disappointing

Hotel advertises 5 star but the service and amenities received were extremely inconsistent. We were informed that we will have a $600 credit as part of our booking. We charged several items to our room including SPA services. Unfortunately, at checkout is when they want to tell us that it is not a credit, but that we should have been provided a coupon book that is equal to $600 in savings? That is very different than what is advertised as part of the Silver VIP Benefit and we feel cheated. Service was inconsistent, some staff members were exceptional including Butler Gabriel, he provided great service. Some were NOT which included the other Butler Alexis. All food reservations were booked up quickly and we were left with no reservation or needed to eat either really early or really late. Helios restaurant the dinner took an hr and 40 minutes to come out! and when it did it was cold. Room service arrived cold and missed items. The BBQ food by the inifiti pool is horrible please elevate, however the food by the private beach was much better. Room was nice but TV did not work when we checked in, AC also did not work, and eventually the sink was clogged. Room felt very muggy and often time sheets felt wet because of it. We did not report he sink because we did not feel like being bothered at this point. We were excited for the Rocas Pool, to find out it was seaweed infested and did not look sanitary to swim in. I did not see anyone in there the entire time. We will not return

The resort was beautiful. The infinity pool was extraordinary, and service there was perfect. The spa pools and hydrotherapy areas were stunning. Most of my means were wonderful, but we were disappointed with El Gaucho. The food wasn't great and the service was less knowledgeable. We did not enjoy the cabaret performance--too loud and relentless for a dining experience.

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction regarding my recent booking at the Yukatan TRS Hotel (adults only) in Mexico due to the misleading information provided on your website.
When researching accommodation options, I was very specific about my needs and expectations. One of the key criteria for my booking was the availability of racquetball/squash courts, as stated on your website. I chose to book my stay, which cost over $5,000, based on this information because I was preparing to participate in a provincial squash tournament shortly after my arrival.
To my dismay, upon check-in, I learned that there are no squash or racquetball courts available at the hotel. When I brought this discrepancy to the attention of the hotel staff, they were unaware of the information listed on your website, which added to my frustration. I would not have booked my stay at this hotel had I known that the court facilities were not available.
Furthermore, the accommodations included a promise of a bottle of sparkling wine, which I requested on three occasions but never received. Instead, a bottle of rosé was left in my room the night before my departure, which was not what was promised.
I was also unaware that the resort does not permit Uber or local taxis on the premises. This lack of information caused me to lose money on a pre-booked airport transfer, as the company refused to provide a refund after learning of the restrictions.
