Located in the mountains of Sierra Nevada Natural Park, our hotel is 9km from the ski resort of Sierra Nevada and a 20-minute drive from Granada's historic Albaycín district, where the Alhambra Palace is located. Our hotel offers an outdoor pool, perfect for escaping from the heat in the warm summer months, and a cozy lounge, with its own fireplace and views of the valley.

The one bedroom apartment was fine for a week, having everything we needed. Overall, the environment of the complex is good as is the local neighbourhood and amenities. There is a nice tapas place called La Aulaga just down the road and many other choices within a short walk.

Al quejarnos en el checkout, por WhatsApp, porque la recepción abre pocas horas, ni una disculpa, nos echaron en cara que habíamos pagado poco al haber tenido una oferta de Expedia. Francamente horrible mejor evitar este alojamiento.

Lovely 4 night stay, however, sunbed war was quite stressful. We counted the amount of sunbeds around the pool and there is not enough for the amount of rooms. One access door was locked to the pool but another near the pool bar left open so people were not adhering to the 9am rule., which is madness as the pool bar opens at 830am for brekfast. Instead of asking for 2 euros a day for a sunlounger to be placed on your terrace put more around the pool !!
Food was brilliant at the pool bar, very fresh ingrediants. Room was nice, but missed air conditioning but there was a large fan, unfortunately to noisy to use.
Would I come again? Maybe if the lack of sunbeds were addressed.

Why ask about a dishwasher, der is that going to change peoples mind to stay with El Guarapo Apartamentos, I know not.

I think changing sheets once a week is terrible,and when asked for clean sheets to do own beds,was informed cleaners decided wether needed or not 🤔so no clean sheets for a week 😞

The apartment is a good size with nice furnishings and plenty of kitchen equipment. The complex is quiet with lovely gardens, a heated pool and a pool bar which closed after breakfast at 10.30 then reopened from 11.30 until 4pm. We found the location was ideal with plenty of shops, bars and good restaurants within easy walking distance as are the nearby beaches. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, checking in on line makes it so much easier on arrival and there was plenty of communication from the team via WhatsApp. We enjoyed our stay at El Guarapo apartments and would return.
Some minor negatives are - the level of cleaning could be improved, just mopping floors does not remove food debris, hair etc. The bedlinen was not replaced during our 9 day stay although towels are changed every 2 days. A pool bar is a facility we look for when choosing a holiday resort to have lunch and drinks so the closure was somewhat disappointing.

I made the mistake of booking in before I arrived, so once the management knew I was a solo guest I got allocated a room in the far corner of the apartments with the families. No view of the pool, terrace in permanent shade and the noise of children running around both above and each side. I also got allocated one towel which I had to use for 4 showers before it was replaced (every 2 days)

Staff on reception are fantastic, pool was lovely & clean, beds great , though not much space to maneuver around bed, just wish they had a more accessible apartments, ie..shower, but we managed & were given a step free terrace. Brilliant.. lovely gardens would return.

Only complaints are that our Electricity tripped out 1 night whilst cooking dinner on my wife's last night and had to wait for an hour and a half before it was put back on by an electrician.

Small and friendly apartment blocks with a beautiful pool. Apartment was very clean, spacious and walkable (7 mins walk) to lots of bars and restaurants and shop for groceries. Definitely recommend this as a holiday destination.

Accommodation desperately needs air-conditioning. Reception only open 9am to 5pm not 8am till 8pm, breakfast only served 8.30 till 10.30am not 8am - 12pm as advertised.
Everything is charged as extra, safe, sunbeds on balconies. Not enough sunbeds and umbrellas around the pool.

It was small and quiet and exceptionally clean. The reception staff were excellent, checking that we were ok every day. Very comfortable and a short walk to the lovely beaches.
The one thing we didn’t like was that people put their towels on all the sun beds by 8am then left for hours, leaving nowhere for anyone else to sit. The reception staff were not happy with it either put a sign up, but no-one took any notice.

The apartment we stayed in, was nice and clean. However, the shower gel and shampoo were not replaced when we ran out of it. In addition, about three-four days passed during our 8-day holiday there, when no-one cleaned our apartment. The walls in the apartment block are very thin and not well insulated; we could hear at night every little noise (e.g. mobile phone vibrating) from the apartment above ours.

El guarapo is in a nice flat location with good amenities, nearby restaurants pubs etc handy for the beach (5 mins) supermarkets (3 mins)
Main concern was the room cleaning, sperodic and not very clinical. Despite a very nice recent refurbishment there was mould growing in the corner of the shower, the grouting is turning yellow already and the standing area in the shower was dirty from footprints. At no point during our 8 night stay was this addressed.
El guarapo need to up there cleaning regimes otherwise the nice refurbishment will not last too long without obvious signs of tlc.

Good clean apartments. We had lovely 1 bedroom apartment with spacious terrace just next to pool. Apparently they had recently refurbished and next priority is to heat the pool as bit too cold in winter. Short walk-8 mins to great choice of restaurants and sea at bottom of street near small sandy beaches. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Didn’t try their own food as too busy enjoying local restaurants. Beautiful resort with plenty of local supermarkets and a couple of beach bars.

Unfortunately, we did have some rain and cloudy weather, this made the apartment extremely cold. The hotel did not supply heaters and so we had to wear our coats indoors!

Beautiful apartments close to the sea, shops,bars and bus stops. Really helpful reception staff and lovely apartments with quality king size beds and comfortable seating and dining areas and very well appointed kitchens and bathrooms. The pool area is lovely and very well tended, unfortunately the weather meant we didn’t get to use it :( These are amongst some of th nicest apartments we have stayed in and are a credit to their owners. Thank you for a lovely stay :)

Perfectly situated modern and newly renovated apartments close to everything but still quiet and peaceful! The apartments were nicely decorated, memory foam beds, quality bed linens. Big bathroom with walk in shower and a great hair dryer! The lounge furniture comfortable with a good size TV. The kitchen had everything we needed. The grounds are spotless and the staff very friendly, polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend these apartments!

We stayed here on a last minute deal. We don’t stay within the Hotel walls much when on holiday so I cannot comment on how nice the staff were other than on the impression we had at check in. The lady was friendly and check in was quick and easy.
The rooms were large, comfortable beds. Showers were abit awkward as we found it could very easily over flow, so a nightmare for us to keep the room dry and clean. We stayed for a week and had towel changes twice and maids once - I think this is okay providing you treat it like your own home.
Location is very close to Bastian beach, bus stop to and from airport not far at all (for those interested, a bus to the Hotel from the airport will cost €2.80, first take line 22/23 to Arrecife, you have to change at the bus station in Arrecife to line 1 to Costa Teguise. Get off at Playa Bastian as this is the closest stop to the hotel. Taxis are approximately €25). A short walk from Bastian is a beach called Jablillo - great for swimming and catching some sun. A lot of fish in the water too!

Very quiet - just 5 minutes walk from the centre of the resort, but an oasis of calm. The only criticism we had was that the pool was freezing - but this is quite normal for the Canaries.

Apartment in excellent location only couple mins walk to main square, plenty bars and restaurants to choose from. Apartment very clean, newly refurbished, wide range of utilities, large comfy bed plenty wardrobe space. Towels changed on alternate days apartment cleaned once a week. Plenty sun beds around the pool nice and relaxed feel. Will definitely be booking to stay here again soon.
