We had an amazing and relaxing stay at Casa Maria. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean. Breakfast every morning was great however, could use different daily selection. Bartender goes above and beyond for guest. She is absolutely the best! Thank you to everyone at Casa Maria we will be back!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well-maintained property. Great location for exploring old town. A very short walk to the beach. Only stayed one night, but would stay again. Only drawbacks: my room was right near the swimming pool and it was a little noisy and if you have mobility issues, the steps/stairs might be a challenge.

For many years I stayed at the same hotel in PV Because of the location and a great staff. Unfortunately it closed recently and I was unsure on this trip where I would want to stay. I remembered that the Casa Maria was across the street and thought I would give them a try. It was a great choice not only because of the location ut also a terrific staff. The property Is immaculate and it has a festive flavor I would recommend it to anyone visiting Puerto Vallarta and this is certainly where I will be staying in the future Very much looking to my next trip and this will certainly my go to hotel. If you're looking for a great location and great environment check ouyCasa Maria on your next Trip dear Puerto Vallarta!

Such a welcoming and relaxing space for a visit to PV. Perfectly located in the heart of the Zona Romantica, it was our base for a first exploration of the scene and the city.
The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive, not least Ricardo and Luis but also Eva on the bar and all the cleaning staff as well.

GO to Puerto Vallarta! We felt completely safe in the city (both a.m. and p.m.) during our stay. And we couldn't have chosen a more perfect place to stay than Casa Maria.

We were warmly greeted upon our arrival. The staff have charming traditions for both welcoming and sending off their guests. Our room was pristine and spacious, with a little alcove to store our luggage and a large closet to hang our clothing. The bathroom has a large shower that never runs low on hot water. The colourful splashes in the room and on the hotel property were delightful. The room had both a ceiling fan and A/C to provide comfortable cooling.

Casa Maria has an inner courtyard featuring a lovely pool (we saw staff cleaning the pool and testing the water each morning) and a bar. The daily complimentary breakfast sustained us as we took our morning walks along the Malecon (boardwalk). Drinks are served at the bar later in the day / evening; guests could chat and make new friends. Guests are sheltered from any street noise because all of the rooms are recessed behind the hotel office - we enjoyed very restful sleeps while staying there.

We were treated to tapas and wine in El Cava Secreto, the hotel's new wine bar, on our first night. El Cava Secreto has a talented chef; we split several plates of delicious concoctions!

We were thrilled with our choice to stay at Casa Maria and would like to send our love to Luis, for making us feel so warmly welcomed in Puerto Vallarta. We will be back!

What a gem in PVR! Amazing staff that has nothing but smiles for you, all the amenities you need in the room, fun and chill pool area and a location in the action but still quiet at night. Appreciated the water fountain to fill water bottles and the ice cold AC in the room. Can't recommend it enough!

The location of the hotel is wonderful. So close to the Malecon and all the restaurants and night life. The pool area was always peaceful and inviting and the staff as welcoming as they could be. Everything was outstanding.

Stayed here twice! Best hotel in PV. Clean. Beautiful. Great staff! Luis and Ricardo, in particular, were both so helpful, kind and pleasant.

This hotel is truly special. The beautiful coloured steps with inspirational words, the coloured padlocks all over the fence and gates, and colourful flags above the courtyard.

I also really appreciated having a cute little pool and staffed bar onsite.

The rooms were bright and colourful with either two queen beds or one king, and had balconies if you were on the second or third floor. We found the beds comfortable, the fridge a good size and the microwave helpful. Had stocked stand up shower with daily housekeeping available.

And above all. THE Location can’t be beat. Will stay here again!

Fantastic location right around the corner from the thump thump of the gay bars but quiet and peaceful inside the hotel. Friendly and efficient staff. Jorge is a wonderful bartender and great guide. You could stay two weeks, eat at a different restaurant within two blocks for every meal, be perfectly satisfied with each one, and still not have scratched the surface. Also the whole area feels perfectly safe.

Great location and friendly staff. However, one of the most uncomfortable beds I've experienced. After a brutal first night's sleep, I asked whether they had a mattress topper and they didn't, so sleeping remained difficult. I wouldn't return unless they upgrade the bedding.

Just left after a 10 night stay. This boutique hotel was awesome from the moment we walked in. The staff were so nice and welcoming and always engaging in conversation if you want each day. The pool and loungers are great as well as the room and patio. The adults only vibe is nice as they have music playing at pool. It is right in the heart of zone romantica but super quiet at night. Everything was in good working order in our room and we had a patio which was great. High recommend this place.

Tranquil and peaceful sanctuary was my experience with a beautiful, fun-loving blend of colours, joy, and connection. The Casa Maria family are welcoming and respectful. This hotel on every front is immaculate, rooms met my every need - love the beach bag and umbrella - beautiful touch.
Proximity to restaurants, coffee shops and a trek to the Malecon and Pier is perfect. I truly enjoyed a Halloween celebration that was an added bonus!
I will definitely be back in the new year and highly recommend this bright gem! Nos vamos pronto Jorge, Lizbeth, Ricardo, Yuliana, Luis, Maria, Rebecca, Rodriquez, Francisco - you make th world a better place!

The hotel is very colorful and quiet despite the fact it's right at central area. 5 mins walks from the Pier, the beaches and close to all restaurants and bars. The hotel facility is clean, room is spacious and clean as well. Continental breakfast included. Staffs are super friendly and helpful. I love the colorful ambiance it gives right when you enter the hotel. The staff was so nice and attentive. The beds are comfortable and the AC works great. Restaurant is too stinking cute, we took pictures in there a few times because of the decor. The beach is only one block away which made it very easy to come & go. It starts with a tradition: a sip of the magical waters, a connection between guests. You had to be there to experience it. There was one small annoyance for me, a small bed. I don’t think it is humanly possible to have more fun staying somewhere, Casa Maria was a delight in every way, but mostly for the staff and other guests. I met people to go out with every night, and every night was a party.

The bar tender Catalina even arranged a piñata to celebrate the birthdays of some of the other guests, it was a blast and the perfect home base for enjoying Puerto Vallarta!

Super cute boutique hotel 1½ blocks from the beach in the heart of Zona Romantica. I really can't say enough good about this place: the staff is so kind helpful and fun, the location in the Zona is superb, the decor is beautiful fun and vibrant, the pool and courtyard are spotlessly clean and perfectly maintained just like the rooms... we absolutely loved our stay and plan to go back just like you will if you go. My only caution would be for people with mobility issues, if you're familiar with PV you know there are areas that get very steep and the sidewalk in front of the hotel has some pretty steep stairs so be aware of that if it could be a concern for you.

Casa Maria is a small and lovely hotel in the Zona Romantica neighborhood. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. There is a cafe/bakery that offers a complimentary breakfast which includes beautifully presented fruits, granola, bread, jam and yogurt. The decor is colorful and fun. It is about 2 blocks away from Playa De Los Muertos Pier, but feels quiet and tucked away for being in such a popular area. The staff offered guidance and advice on things to do, since this was our first visit to Mexico. We cannot wait to return!
