Best decision to stay here. Not too far from Vatican, grab a scooter with Lime app on a time basis. You can buy tickets there, grab the Vatican Sn Pedro Chatedral and all the museums packagage,
For day 1, then jump on the red bus tour for move around the city. Visit St Michael castle, Davinci city museum (not the expo). Great time

I like the hotel. It was definitely old hotel. But I like the location. The hotel was clean. I like the bed. It was not too soft. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good. The smell was also good. It smelled clean. The problem is only small bathroom and parking was not noted. It was worth the stay. Will stay again.

The linens was not changed ! Foul odor from shower that was around the carpet dirty carpet ! Elevators not working ! And the receptionist person screwed us on paying the tour aaked for too much money to skip the lines ! It was 130$ for each person ! WiFi is too slow and it says online there’s a Seattle to the airport but there’s none ! Charged me way too much !

I wouldn't know because the hotel decided to put me in a run down, nasty hotel without even informing me ahead of time of the change. We had 3 rooms reserved, and when we went to check in, only 1 of the 3 was available. 1 part of our group stayed at Nova Domus but the rest of my party was shipped off, WITHOUT NOTICE, to one of the WORST hotels I've ever stayed in in my LIFE! If I felt I had other options, I would have declined and went somewhere else. I will NEVER again book like this, or with choice hotels. My family who did stay, had very little nice things to say. And breakfast wasn't served before 7am when we had to leave so we didn't even get to try that. Terrible experience.

Property is under renovation. A lot is going on. Night shift is 5 star colaborators. They try to solve everything as limited as they are. Zone is great. If you are thinking about visiting Vatican City, this is the place. Breakfast is great and staff is better.

Updating and Attention Needed

The front desk service at check-in was cold. I gave the man a second chance to be pleasant on the 2nd day but he remain unpleasant when I asked him to direct me to the bathroom.

The bedroom was extremely comfortable and clean. The room came with a super large concrete terrace that should be divided and designed for a better customer experience.

Breakfast on second day was wonderful with great service from the diningroom staff after I provided concurrent feedback about the food served on the first day. Bravo.

For a 4-star, I am surprised about the dated facility. Carpets throughout need to be replaced. I was not sure if they were dirty or discolored.

A special thank to the evening male staff who took my feesback and passed it on the the dinning room staff.

Please invest in a SWOT Analysis consultant.

The staff was nice and courteous. The air conditioning was great! The complimentary breakfast was great. It was perfectly walking distance to the Vatican. It was quiet. All of that being said, I would not stay there again. It was filthy. Dirty shower curtains. Broken shower. No laundry facilities on site. Despite the signs saying otherwise, there was no lunch or dinner available.

Ran out of water late at Night tried to get some from the front desk only had a €10 on me and he told me that he could not give me change but only a five euro back for the water that was needing to buy in a vending machine up on the floor in the hotel .
I didn’t think he needed a tip to give me change for my money. So unfortunately, my son had to go without water. We stayed July. 20th we will not be coming back ever.

We were delayed, then had our flight cancelled. So we were in panic mode to find a room for the night. Found the hotel which stated it had AC. We booked. The lobby looked great, so we were convinced it would be a good stay. They let us leave our luggage and came back when it was time to check in. Both rooms seemed pretty warm. I called and also told them at the front desk when we left to see the city and eat. We returned only to find a small fan in both rooms. Needless to say it wasn’t a pleasant night to sleep with hot temps. Everything else wasn’t bad. Friendly staff and decent breakfast with lots of options. I did ask another couple, in the elevator, if they had air conditioning and they said yes.

As we wanted something close to both the Vatican & the Rome tennis tournament this was a handy hotel though I’m not sure it actually is 4* worthy. The rooms were aged & the terraces had olden style shutters with views of the neighbourhood as opposed to anything touristy. The hot water was very slow to come through & there was only shampoo containers & soap, no shower gel. The walls are very thin. We were there when a group of teenagers were in town & they were up all night creating noise across the 3rd floor we were in. TV is cable but nothing English.
But the plus points are it has a lovely reception area with very helpful staff & uber was willing to collect us from there to go out & about which helps. Breakfast spread is decent & worth the spend. WiFi worked well & helped. Beds are comfortable & furniture is decent. Fridge helps keep everything chilled but nothing pre-provided & no tea/coffee.

Clean and Good location.

Booked a three night stay with this hotel. Carpet needs updating but our room 321 was very clean. On check in we were told at reception that breakfast was provided free of charge which was a pleasant surprise. Hotel is near public transport stations and about 20 minutes walk to Vatican City if you are planning to visit the area. The only reason I did not give this hotel a five is that I feel the person who offered to help us book tours did not give us options. We felt the price he offered us were inflated and when we decided not to book with him, I feel he started giving us a cold shoulder.

I like there breakfast, lots to choices from, and the coffee are very good. What I didn't like the bed are too hard, its too separate foam bed and you can feel the hard wood, needs updating on the carpet, it looks dirty and old. Our door won't lock because someone didn't fix it. unsafe I have to put all our luggage against the door. Front desk staff are so rude to talk to.

Two full-grown adults were put in a 10 x10 square room with a queen bed and furniture.

We are unable to walk around without walking into each other or banging our legs against the bed or furniture. I have bruises.

Sleeping on the bed was like sleeping on the floor, very hard and so indented that I felt I was going to fall off the bed.

The mattress was very old.

The blow dryer started to smoke when it was used.

The room was hot, the air conditioner sounded like a truck's motor.

For the money that was spent, we were very disappointed with the accommodations.

A great very comfortable and affordable hotel in Prati. No frills, but it was very clean and breakfast was included. The staff was lovely, and it's in a very walkable location in the neighborhood. The top floor rooms even have little balconies with a view of St. Peter's cupola!

The Vatican museum is walking distance, 10 minutes away. There's lots of restaurants around the area. Highly recommend Lina's pizza across the street. There were 3 of us and we got a big room with 4 beds. Stayed for 2 nights. We had fresh towels everyday. Breakfast is alright. There is hot food and cold cuts. The rooms could use a lift but what do you expect in Rome? Everything is \"old.\" The neighborhood is quiet. Overall, not that bad.

It's very close to the Vatican Museums. I can see the steps from the hotel dining terrace. It's less than 10 mins walk.
It took us 25 mins to walk to the St Peter's Square since we have to walk around the Vatican wall. Lots of places to eat and shop on the way so the distance didn't matter.
The hotel needs a lift but I can't complain, the bed is comfortable and we have fresh towels. The breakfast was alright. They had a variety to pick from.
The price is very reasonable. I will recommend this place.

False advertising. There was no restaurant in hotel nor a bar. It has been closed for 10 years. There was no garden balcony as it was in ruins. Overall the pictures on line represent the hotel as it was in the 1960s. But the air conditioner worked and the staff was pleasant. It was walking distance to the Vatican. But I wished I stayed at a different hotel for the 3 days I was in Rome.

The place looked ok in photos. In person it’s a different story. The place smelled like mold, pee and just a disgusting old carpet. AC was not working, blinds couldn’t be lifted or lowered. There was just water leaking in the bathroom. You could hear water flowing through pipes, other guests taking in there rooms. In the hotel there were random leaks. Breakfast buffet was not complete bad but the overall smells and inability to feel comfy and rest well is why I am giving this one star.

Federico and the rest of the staff were great. I booked the hotel very late notice and so they had not yet received the booking from Hotels.com. Federico searched through various systems online for me and was able to find it.

The rooms are old and fairly worn out, but have charm and my room was clean and everything I needed. The bed was firm - which I prefer - and the pillows were great.

The breakfast was what you would expect for a European breakfast - nothing more, nothing less.

The price was great and the location is great if you are wanting to visit the Vatican.

GREAT PLACE in all ways, except for the AC.

In excellent condition...super clean...not a trace of smoke. Somewhat old, but definitely a quality property, very well maintained. The staff is super helpful. INCREDIBLY GREAT BREAKFAST with varied fine pastries, eggs, bacon, sausages, juices, gourmet coffee, cereal, yogurt, and more. Wonderful. Strangely, the scrambled eggs were \"floating\" in liquid/egg juice, not to my liking. Maybe that's a European thing. But, the staff took some of the \"wet\" eggs, and cooked them for me, until \"dry\". Our room's bathroom was tiny, but spotless, all walls and the shower seemingly made of real marble. The only complaint about the hotel is our room air conditioner only barely worked \"so-so\". It cooled the room just a little. On days in the 90's, the room was half-way between warm and slightly cool. Not the air conditioning Americans are used to. The hotel's location is superb, close to the Vatican and other attractions, along with Rome's subway system. All is a short walk away. Buses are close, but we didn't use them. The hotel arranged economical private taxi service to the airport. We would DEFINITELY stay at Quality Hotel Nova Domus again. Lastly, a GREAT, UNIQUE place to eat is only just about 1 block away---a really upscale all-you-can eat Chinese-Japanese restaurant. Incredible service and service---really...only about $25. In three days, we ate there three times. Note, this is NOT the Chinese place just across the street from the hotel's front door.

The location is excellent for travel. The Metro station is 6min away and Vatican city is 20min away. Also Piazza Navona and Pantheon and Fontana di Trevi are 35min walk.

The hotel was good. The location was bad. To far from everywhere you want to go and area a little to scary to walk in at night. Next time i would stay closer to collisieums and spanish steps
