Liked the reception staff-helpful. Liked room- clean, lot of space and bedding very comfortable.
Dining very poor especially dinner. Ordered veal schnitzel it was so tough that i needed the saw to cut it and over fried. Breakfast also not good quality especially hard boyled eggs.

What a beautiful hotel, the room was extremely comfortable, the pools were amazing, spotlessly clean and really comfortable loungers. The staff works very hard to keep every guest happy, and the reception staff could not be more helpful. The menu choices of evening meal was excellent and our selection was delicious!
The only criticism I have is that I think the air conditioning perhaps needs servicing or replacing because it was woefully inadequate in the room we stayed in. Having said that, we would stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat!

The facilities of the hotel were good. The spa experience was very good. The bar service was poor. We were told due to lack of staff. We did not eat in the hotel’s restaurant because we were ignored by the bar person who also seemed to be helping in the kitchen, we ate in Split Old Town. The stacking up of all used glasses from the pool areas onto the bar area was unslightly, which extended to the breakfast areas the following day where tables left abandoned and needed cleaning. A table was prepared for us eventually. We were told they were focusing on larger groups staying. Much less than expected for a ‘5 star’ hotel. Breakfast offer was poor.

Lovely, grand hotel. Staff are very friendly, beds comfy, rooms a good size and nicely kept and breakfast had a good choice of options.

Outside pool wasn't heated though, amd one was shut for maintenance. The gym was also too hot to work out in. My son loved thei sode pool though and sauna.

The hotel is dated and leaves a lot to be desired. The pool was the exception and lovely. The staff were friendly but few and far between. I had to seek out staff to call other staff to get a drink and food by the pool. Breakfast was seriously underwhelming. The room was fine, no complaints but nothing to rave about either. Wouldn’t go back for sure.

I surprised that in place like Solin exist hotel like President. The hotel unfortunatelly does not deserve the 5 star because there is room for improvement. The breakfast should be richer and more varied, as should the cleanliness of the hotel. It is unacceptable that the door frames are damaged and that the shutters can not be fully closed. The staff is extremelly kind, but keep in mind that this is the south of Croatia, and everything is slower than in the north.

This hotel is awesome! The beds are huge. The rooms are large and classy. The staircase is beautiful. The breakfast is super,too. (If you ask they will make dippy eggs for you. Quality and clean breakfast area. A lot to choose from.
The heated pool could be a little warmer. The sauna absolutely needs to be hotter. The indoor and outdoor pools are very nice! The staff are excellent.
I highly recommend this hotel!

Great hotel was treated so well. Although a little way out from split a taxi was £12. Lots of restaurants and bars close by. We were lucky to experience a traditional Croatian wedding which we would not have seen in the centre of everything

Everything about the hotel exceeded my expectations.. A lovely welcome with a welcome drink. Very clean and well kept. Our rooms were perfect and spacious with a view of the park. Excellent maid service. Excellent facilities all around the hotel. All the staff were so lovely and pleasant and helpful. Great pool waiter service. Lovely breakfast each morning. I cannot praise this hotel enough and I would love to go back and stay there again.. A beautiful area to stay in and only ten minutes in a (recommended Uber for cost) to Split old town that is absolutely beautiful. I miss it all already… JULY 2024

Overall the hotel was beautiful and very clean. Was disappointed at the check in experience because we were told our rooms were not ready even after check in time. We had to wait over an hour to finally have access to our room. Location is a 15 min drive to the city. Great amenities.

Not worth the price- Ac broken

The hotel is old. Initially charming but things need TLC. The Ac wasn’t working in one of our rooms. We informed the management and they insisted that it was working. They didn’t help at all and they were tule and evasive.
The shower is terrible and ours was broken as well.
The girl at the front desk ( Claudia) was the best.
Super expensive and not worth it.

Great place for family, not so much for business trips especially if your meetings are in Split. The rooms are old, but big and doable for the price. Very poor light in the room. The curtain to the outside was broken, so the sun in my face was my alarm.

I really wanted to love this property and give it 5 stars looking at the photos and reviews. However, my experience was strictly 3 (or maximum 4) stars.
Pros: helpful and friendly staff at reception, outstanding breakfast options, extremely clean surroundings, 2 outdoor and 1 indoor pool (none of them crowded), Lidl 2 mins walk away.
Cons: unfortunately, I got the 'unlucky' room (top floor, corner) where WiFi was non-existent. This meant, I had to come down to the reception area to use my laptop, Google stuff, plan my days, send photos to family and even complete the pre-departure forms before flying out. I was told no one else in the hotel reported this issue, so perhaps it was just my bad luck.
Upon using the room telephone to contact reception, I discovered that the connection was so poor, I could barely hear them.
Upon contacting room service one day, it rang for about 25 mins before I gave up and went downstairs to place an order. I thought the restaurant would be extremely busy, hence the staff were probably occupied. However, there was not one single customer present.
For such a fancy hotel, I was surprised to discover the toilet seat just placed on and very wobbly. There didn't seem to be an air vent, so it got very stuffy in there after showers.
The air conditioner was more like a slow fan, even though it was strong and cold around the other hotel areas. It was fine with me, but might not be for others in the 37C heat. No watchable channels on the TV either.

5 Star Hotel...definately NOT!!!

No free water, coffee,tea, not even a kettle!! No irons or ironing board because they want you to use their costly laundry service. Loads of lighting issues (which never got resolved). Room was ALWAYS very dusty. All this from a 5 star hotel !!!...will not recomnend!!

The whole stay was catastrophic due to the hotel couldn’t accommodate us with the appropriate bedding in the room - booked a queen bed & a single bed however hot twin beds upon checkin & the manager Mirta was the rudest woman on earth mo managing skills at all to deal with customer complaints - the hotel rooms where to start from the lights to the bathroom nothing works not even the in room phone the shower head was broken never got replaced the towel hanging out off the hook great risk of health & safety no one can fix it. The bath tub full of black dirt absolutely disgusting for families with kids like us. You would think you’d get away for a perfect family break turn out to be a disaster never ever recommending that hotel again. I was robbed for paying big bucks for an awful service. The only good thing about the stay was the restaurant waiters Mohammed who tried to make our stay the best he could do that’s a great asset to the team all the other staff was disgusting

Property is beautiful and the hotel rooms generous in size! Food was also good!

The three rooms we had reserved were all very hot however as the air conditioner was not working! They did agree to move us the second night but never had the manager call and apologize and offer us something in return for the inconvenience of having to sleep in rooms that were very hot( 80), our first night!

Truthfully however, if air conditioner had been working in our rooms, I probably would have give this hotel 5 stars rather than 3!

Hotel well looked after. Breakfast was very good with excellent staff. Very attentive. Bar service at night for snacks/drinks excellent. Very good service provided. Did not like the layout of the swimming pool area which gave very little room around the pool and a great shortage of umbrellas. Rooms were lovely. The towels provided in the rooms were not of good quality and not big enough. Shower gel conditioner etc certainly not luxury.

Sehr freundliches Personal, es wurde sich um jeden Wunsch gekümmert. Die Poolanlage ist wunderschön genauso wie die Zimmer. Man ist mit dem Auto innerhalb von 15 Minuten in Split. Ich kann diese Unterkunft jedem empfehlen.

Eigentlich ein schönes Hotel mit englischen Stil.
Das Hallenbad riecht schimmelig, das Personal ist überdurchschnittlich äußerst unfreundlich und der Preis ist viel zu hoch für dieses Hotel.
All das hätte ein freundliches Personal wieder wet gemacht, aber das war nicht vorhanden. Man merkt, dass hier private Probleme mit ins Hotel gebracht werden, was aus meiner Sicht alles andere als professionell ist.
Die Cocktails waren gut und das Frühstück ein wenig lieblos.
Wir werden keinesfalls wiederkommen.

Fantastisk hotel i rolige omgivelser, sentralt beliggende ca. 10min med taxi fra Split og ca. 20min med taxi fra flyplassen. Utrolig vennlig og hjelpsom betjening, bra mat og store luftige rom. Fantastisk basseng område, og lett med parkering. Områder Solin er et lite nærområde med bra og billige restauranter. Eneste minus er ekstrasengen på rommet som er alfor liten for større ungdommer, og mangel av treningsrom. Ellers et fantastisk bra hotel, som vi garanterert gjerne kommer tilbake til.

Lækkert hotel, god belligenhed

En rigtig god oplevelse samlet set. Lækkert hotel, dog manglede der solsenge ved poolen. Personalet var overordnet set behjælpelige, men flere af dem lavede en del fejl i bestillinger som desværre tydede på manglende interesse for servicering af gæsterne. Byen Solin var ikke til så meget, som der ellers var beskrevet. Dog lå hotellet tæt ved Split og havde dejlige muligheder for deres egne taxis til Split.
