We had a fantastic week staying at Prime Plaza Suites. We loved the large 2 bed apartment for our 3 young kids. The pool area was lovely. The only thing that lets it down is an inconvenient location as we like to head out a lot. Overall a fantastic experience.

Lovely family hotel. Found it quiet even though it’s just off the bypass. Hotel has its own taxi service which we found easier to use than go jek etc. Staff were all lovely and very helpful. About 10 minute walk to beach. Plenty of warungs and restaurants close by especially if you leave through the back entrance which is open till 9pm. Rooms clean and spacious with great air con in each bedroom and living room. Staff were great at keeping the grounds looking good and I believe spraying them each day to keep mosquitoes away which must have worked as we were not bitten while staying here.

Really love these spacious rooms great pools and activities for the kids, really good happy hour from 12 till 8 pm. Excellent pizzas the kids really like the kids Spa as well. Only downside is the location it’s quite a walk into town or the beach and we never seem to have time to wait for the shuttle. Fantastic face to stay as a family. I wouldn’t suggest it as a couple though

Ideal for people travelling with younger families but for me it was noisy. The hotel rather than the suites would be much more suited to families with older teenagers. The suites seemed to be in need of a little tlc. Our shower leaked and the shower controls were difficult to turn on and off. The kitchen and appliances were dated. The air con units were not working in one of the bedrooms and everything felt damp. I had also requested a change to my booking within the time frame for changes to be made, but I have not received a refund for the unused night. Very disappointing. There are other much nicer places to stay in Bali for a fraction of the price we paid here. A disappointing end to what was otherwise an amazing holiday in Bali.

not flexible for late check out not even for an hour even if hotel is not fully book. overall facilities is quite old and pool is small so it's always crowded.. breakfast is average, need a cab to go everywhere as beach is quite a distance and shuttle bus is infrequent and limited time. I really enjoyed the pool area and the food and the drinks. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. There are lots of activities for children and an expansive games area. The slide is pretty good for a hotel and will entertain the kids for a while at least. Short walk to the centre of Sunur where there are heaps of shops and cafes etc.

Great resort for those with kids. Kids club and pools are staffed by friendly people who genuinely love interacting with the kids.
Only downside is the distance from the beach - although only a 10-15min walk by adults, it’s challenging to walk with small kids on the busy roads which are shared by cars, scooters, motorcycles and pedestrians.

Great family friendly hotel. Rooms are huge, staff are amazing & friendly. Our housekeeping staff did many different towel animals each day which the kids loved & also played some elf on the shelf style pranks with their other soft toys, which was also a hit to come back to each day.

Good large pool & decent sized water slide & kids pool area with a small playground. Various games in kids club, a PS4, small indoor area for toddlers.

Hotel is older but clean & looks to be going through a refurb in small stages. Pillows aren't great, tv reception is poor & the air conditioning works well but being an older style unit developed a strong musty type smell that got progressively worse.
Overall, a reasonably priced, family friendly hotel that shouldn't be confused for a 5 star property.

Location is a 5 minute walk to main street, another 10 mins to beach & another 10 mins to markets & Icon shopping centre. Plenty of cheap transport options via hotel as well as free shuttle bus.

The pool areas, reception etc were lovely, food was good. Rooms were large - living and bedrooms. The bathrooms were tiny and made it really awkward when trying to bathe children or move around in which was unusual given the size of the rest of the spaces. They also both hand lingering smells in them. Location was ok but nothing to rave about given its away from the beach area.

Nice resort which for the price was a good option for Sanur. The apartments are huge which was a big plus for us and two children. For room size you sacrifice luxury but they were fine, always well cleaned daily. Lovely staff through the resort and the kids enjoyed the pools and kids club facilities.
Some prefer beachfront location but I really enjoyed walking the interesting little back streets to the main street and beach. Loved Sanur as an area - felt authentic and the right side of busy.
This isnt a luxe hotel and at breakfast you could be on the Gold Coast. But its a solid good value deal for families that want space while still being looked after by beautiful staff and with lots to do nearby.

The place is starting to date a little, but in general, it is still a great place to stay with a young family. We caught a cheap cab to the restaurants most night, but the food at the hotel was solid.

Pretty good overall. The location is okay but not great. The kids loved the waterslide.
Breakfast was mostly okay but never great. The breakfast room is way too small for the number of people who eat there so it gets stupidly busy very quickly.
The staff are consistently excellent.
The showers are awful. Like something from the 1950s.
They get singers some nights so the resort can be noisy but that shuts off at 9pm. The singers were appalling.

This was my 2nd stay, this time with children 7 & 3. The facilities for the kids was fantastic. The separate pool with waterslide was a big hit as was the playground, kids club and activities, movies in the garden and kids happy hour.
The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and very clean. All staff were amazing and so friendly.
The only thing I could suggest is that the pillows are very thick. One not enough but two is too high. Maybe a thick and thin pillow. But this is personal opinion.
We will definitely stay again.

This property puts me in mind of Brits in Benidorm only it’s Ozzies in Bali. Drinking and eating as much as they can, whilst making as much noise as they can.
Check in was friendly and efficient, that’s where efficiency ended.
After our first night of three we requested to change room (1204) Due to the lights in the corridor being on all night and lighting up the bedroom as well as the outside generator going on and off throughout the night. We changed rooms, check in staff said our bags would be brought to our room, over 2 hours and a phone call later we went and collected them ourselves, though the bell boy was still in reception.
Breakfast buffet is a highlight, plentiful amount on offer
Location is in walkable distance to the shops, bars, restaurants and beaches, but there is a shuttle bus for those who are put off by walking.
We had a one bed suite which was well equipped but severely lacked natural light as there was no external windows - so didn’ don’t expect any dirty of view

We really loved it. Fantastic pool with daily activities for kids. Enjoyed lounging around beside the pool and swimming.
The rooms were spacious and clean. Really good air conditioning.
The breakfast buffet and the happy hour were also a winners.
The location was within walking distance to shops but further from the beach. But a shuttle bus was available if needed.
The staff were impeccable. So warm and friendly.
The only thing I could critique was that while the rooms were spacious and clean - they were just a little dated but we didn’t minds that as everything else was excellent. We definitely want to stay there again.

The front as you drive up looks horrendous and I was really worried, however there is a back gate to access shops & eventually the beach.

No Service around the pool, you have to keep going to the bar. I would recommend they offer a service from sunlounger to order food & drinks.

Room was spotless, icy cold & complimentary water filter was fabulous.

The rooms very spacious, and clean. Breakfast was not included but we had a lot of restaurants close but you needed to go down a back road which was safe, the only thing is the back gate to go through closes at 9pm which is so ridiculous. You would have to get a taxi back to hotel which is on a main highway. Otherwise can not complain about hotel at all. Great for kids. 2 pools plus kids pool has a big water slide tube adults can use also.

Enjoyed our stayed here. The 2 bedroom suite suited us perfectly and was so large. Daytime food options were good besides the pool as was the breakfast buffet. Had the evening buffet one night but it was quite expensive especially with a 12 year old who ate the tiniest amount. It's free for younger children. There are different themed buffets each night & if you want to order a la carte it is brought to your room.

We thought we would try prime Plaza after multiple previous stays at dynasty resort and it was great value for money!

Be aware the the kids club is not a fully supervised kids club, it is more of a kids play area they can go to.

Additionally, the mozzies in the room were some of the worst I have ever seen across many trips to Bali. We had to wear mozzie repellent to bed. I wouldn't not go because of it, (it's Bali, mozzies are just part of the process) but definitely bring some plug in mozzy repellents because the hotel didn't provide any and the only option was to bomb the room with insect spray which made the room stink.

Disappointing stay this time - the 1 bedroom apartment had absolutely no outside space - nowhere to hang wet bathers - no natural light in the room - right by the elevators which had noisy guests going in and out and staff pushing clattering trolleys right outside at all hours of the night. The pool area was busy with towels reserving loungers for guests who weren’t there - and leaving no seats or loungers left unless in full sun. No parasols ??? Staff friendly enough but front desk unhelpful and unresponsive - wouldn’t change the room as they claimed to be fully booked but there was clearly availability online.

This is our 3rd stay and although the room structure (3x2) still fitted our family, it was disappointing that the shuttle bus no longer ran between the hotel and the shops, nor was there any hotel specific beach space as in previous visits. There is a back gate that is about 600m to shops and restaurants but this closes at 6pm and I wouldn’t advice walking the long way around after dark. With older kids who are happy to stay out longer it was painful to find scarce transport back to the hotel.
Hotel staff were all excellent, friendly and helpful. The vibe around the pool, especially around ‘Happy Hour’ was fantastic. It seems more deck chairs and shade has also been added around the pool which was needed.
We recommended this hotel for families with the only disappointment being no shuttle bus and the back gate closing so early.

This was our fourth visit to the plaza suites, and were a little u sure of how things would be after Covid, but it was all amazing. Beautiful, clean, comfortable and spacious apartments. Amazi g, friendly staff. This was our third hotel in our trip to Bali, and everything about Plaza suites was the best.
Great breakfast.
Don't let the location put you off staying there, the back gate through to the main street is a gorgeous stroll.

My only negative and it is only cos of the age of our kids, it felt “isolating” when it rained as the back road would completely flood. We needed to take a pram so having to get a cab etc was just too hard so we often just stayed in

This property is great for families with small kids!! The staff is great and willing to help. The only drawback is the location which is a bit far from the main suburbs like Seminyak etc unless that’s what you are looking for. We did a hire car but beware of the traffic as it can get quite busy during the peak hours. All in all a pleasant stay!!
