A classic vintage hotel with huge rooms in 60's/70's style. I stayed in a suite which was I believe 200 m2! Nice hotel and I would definitely stay there again. Nice staff as well.

Down side. We stayed at the 3rd floor and, Workers were charging tile above us on stairs landing in the morning while we were still sleeping.
They have a sauna and it doesnt work. It starts heating up and Then stops.
4th floor Gym is decent. Need bicycle spin machine.
Great terrace view
Otherwise, good location to stay.

The hotel is in the city center, it has great interior decorating and the staff were always very friendly. The gym was very old and many things were broken. The pool area was decent. The rooms were large and good for the price. The biggest problem was my original room (1st floor) had 3 cockroaches I killed during the first few hours of arriving. After I told the front desk, they moved my room, but it was still pretty gross. I also didn’t like breakfast — the earlier you went, the fresher the food. By 9am, staff were pouring milk into the scrambled eggs and mixing it up in the pan to make them less dried out. The fruit was good and the bar at night was a nice place to sit.

The property was in a good location in the downtown area.

Main annoyance was arriving at Hotel at 6.30 from a long overnight flight to be advised that I couldn't check in until 12.00, however I could access ny room immediately on payment of 28 USD.
This means that my room was available ( a large Hotel clearly not fully booked ) and I would have paid perhaps a 10USD premium but 28 was ridiculous so I refused. Poor money grabbing i thought..
In addition, wayer came out of bath tap discoloured, very off putting.

It has a nice classic look of luxury. It's an older hotel. But the staff is always very accommodating.

Tremendous Bargain in a Beautiful, Modern Hotel

The hotel is beautiful, and is in a very convenient location for someone with business in Asuncion. The staff was very helpful, and even though there was not always an English speaker present, they went out of their way to help and find answers. The room was very clean, very-well appointed, and serviced by housekeeping daily. The breakfast and lounge areas are very beautiful and spotlessly clean. There is a grand old Roman Catholic Church within about three blocks (easy walking distance), and Sunday Mass is at 11:00. Our room was at the extreme southeast end of the building, and during a couple of nights there was noise from a nearby nightclub, but it was tolerable. Also, the water was not quite as hot as some are accustomed to, but that is not unusual in Paraguay. The room was inexpensive and was a tremendous bargain - I did not want to leave, and would be very pleased to stay there again!

The location is really good. The hotel is in poor condition and on disrepair. AA doesn't work, staff provided services that ruined my cloth. We ended up leaving after the second night to another hotel. NEVER EVER BOOK AGAIN

I really liked the Granados Park Hotel. The location was right in the heart of Asuncion Centro and was convenient to sights, food, and shopping. The staff was very friendly. Although the hotel is a bit older, I found that to be part of its charm. Also, it had a good fitness center, pool, spa on the roof.

Nice and very confortable rooms

The best thing in this hotel is the huge rooms and very confortable beds. Although the hotel is located in a rush street, there are no noise in the room because of the anti sound windows. The building is very old but you can notice the recent improves. The bathroom are awesome. You have a beautiful pool in the roof and the gym, including sauna and a hot tube, all of them very clean.
Small things that I did not like, staff hospitality, a very few plugs to charge computer or cellphones in the room, I found in the frigobar bottles opened. In spite of I am a gold member I did not receive any privilege offered.

Hotel has great location and was clean but it is tired, the bed was not comfortable and the staff are not super helpful. However, hot water and wifi were good and it was quiet.They also nickel and dime you, I was charged for some milk to have with my coffee in the room despite them not providing creamer. I would not stay there again.

Overall good, but could use training and upkeep

Goods: Staff very accommodating; Breakfast was varied between eggs, excellent bacon, cooked veggies plus a variety of breads, pastries and fruit; rooms are large; decor is unique in lobby (Tibetan furniture and buddha statues); a free massage for every 3 nights stay; beds comfortable.

Bad: Some staff could use some hospitality training since certain people lacked professionalism (masseuse as an example); despite the hotel's attempts to be SHOWY, when you take a closer look, things are lacking. They spend way too much on decor and appearances, instead of upkeep (nearly all the gym equipment is broken, the massage chairs were both broken, the jacuzzi, which they promote was broken/unavailable the entire week, etc.). The hotel appeared to be absolutely full with staff that the staff didn't know what to do with themselves, but hang out, sleep on the couches in the lobby, etc.

Registering was disapointing. They did not find the expedia reservation. Once in the room they gave me a double bed room. I request to change it. 15 min latter they've got other one bed room.... but there was some bugs in the bed the head of room service witnessed the bug and quickly look for an other room after my request to change it.
As a compensation they send me a champagne (1lt) bottle.
Breakfast was nice. Good fitness room and also the swimming pool at the top of the building.

I was in Asuncion in a business trip, second time in this city and had a horrible night in this hotel. They had an all night party below my room, in the lobby, I called the reception several times in the night to the stop the music or change my room, they just offered apologies and told me they will stop the music, but nothing happened. When I finally go downstairs at 2 am in the morning I found many other guest complaining. Finally the party ended at 3am, but I had to cancel two meetings that morning because I couldn't sleep most of the night. After having breakfast I ask for the manager, made a complaint and decided to leave the hotel, but they refused to reimburse the upcoming night I have already paid! something really crazy, thanks to hotels.com they refund my night and I booked another hotel, don't go to this place, my worst expirience ever.

Hotels description from photograph are a big mistake sometimes ..., and this is not the exception ...
DO NOT ask for hotel taxis or hotel transportation. NO ONE is going to tell you how expensive that \"service\" is ..., in fact, is not fantastic service, is just another old car just with air conditioning but cost is 8 or almost 10 times the taxis you can pick in the Street ...

Nice hotel and friendly staff. Although there were signs everywhere indicating fast wifi was available everywhere, the truth is that I could only use reliable wifi in the lobby. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast had limited choices but was OK.

Beautiful room and hotel. I booked it having no prior knowledge of Asuncion. The slightly higher price compared to other area hotels is more than worth it. Enormous room and very comfortable. Taxi's are dirt cheap in the city, making the downtown location practical regardless of where you're going the next day. When I return to Asuncion, I will stay here again.

Overall I have to say an excellent option for visiting Asuncion, while doing business. excellent staff, great accomodation and good cuisine. The brakfast buffet could use more options, but it can also be requested to be prepared on the spot.
I stayed at the IBISS, BOURBON, WESTFALENHAUS, WESTFALIA, ACARAY and others. and so far I have to say the best Hotel in Asuncion. I have heard a lot of good reviews from the Sheraton, but I cant compare since I never stayed.

I arrived late at night and my first impression was it is a delightful hotel with a lot of charm ..very relaxing bar and reception area ..The rooms were nice and comfortable..breakfast was adequate ..The only problem I had with the hotel was the noise from the cleaning staff moving around the corridors and chatting in the mornings when I was trying to sleep. The hotel is not in the center of an area where you would go for meals or drinks but taxis were readily available outside and the staff would call one for you. Next time I would look for a hotel in an area with more to do around it.

This hotel is located in downtown location with several good restaurants easily within 5 minutes walking. Room was cool when it was 100 degrees outside. Clean and well furnished room, big bathroom, comfy bed and quiet. Internet worked fast so what else would you need on a business trip?

Great location for visiting the old town and although not far from the shanty towns it still felt safe even at night.

The area becomes kind of red district after dusk so if you want to avoid being accosted (though not pestered) don't wander around too much, if by yourself, at that time.

Staff were very helpful and friendly with excellent command of English. Always ready to answer the most basic questions and always with the smile. They also remember your name without recourse to the computer, a novelty these days (potentially because it seemed like I was the only British person there).

Have a work out, massage and then go for a lovely Jacuzzi on the rooftop with the great view of the city. Afterwards hit the Confiteria Bolsi for a treat or even the restaurant across the road for a taste of Paraguayan food.

Recommend trip to Trinidad & Jesus, ideally with guide as getting there and around is very messy. You'll get an overview of rural Paraguay en route and the ruins at the end are rather spectacular and...bereft of tourists.

Hotel antigo, mas bonito. Café da manhã fraco, com poucas opções mas atendia o nosso propósito. Bem localizado no centro histórico, mas eles não aconselham andar de noite na rua. Fiquei frustrada que meu espanhol é fraco e ninguém da recepção sabia falar português nem Ingles que é a língua universal, outra coisa ruim também é que não limparam meu quarto no domingo, dizendo que eu não tinha deixado a etiqueta na porta para permitir a limpeza, mas é mentira porque eu deixei. No geral foi boa, indico o hotel! Era o melhor da região.
