Despite ongoing renovation of the lobby, the rest of the hotel was very clean. I believe rooms and probably the restaurant were recently renovated. The hot tubs on the roof were a great addition since there is nothing to do around because the hotel is located in industrial area. So while you are waiting for your connecting flight, why not spend some time on the roof

The property is under construction so that definitely changes the check in experience and elevator use.
This hotel also allows pets which is fine but there should be a strict protocol on how guests are expected to deal with their pets i.e. not allowing guests to leave them alone in the room. Unfortunately a guest left their dogs and they barked from 6:30am-7:30am. We called the front desk three times to ask for some assistance. Unfortunately, an hour is too long for an entire floor to be disturbed by dogs.
That being said, the hotel staff were friendly and the on site restaurant is very convenient after a long travel day.

Despite the ongoing construction, we were glad to stay at Acclaim. The rooms were extremely clean. Everything was shiny and new.
We did not care for the strong the out-gassing of the new carpet everywhere but there are little to be done about that. Tasteful decor in the room.
Breakfast was delish and fast. We had to catch the 10 o’clock flight and thought we wouldn’t have time since there was only one waitress from 630 to 7. She was cheerful and very effective.

We wish the front desk staff could tell which room has a mini fridge. They ended upgraded us to a suite so they we can store medicine and food.

Five minutes drive to YYC make this hotel very convenient. Definitely would stay here again when we are in Calgary

I had a great experience during my stay at the hotel in Canada. The place was clean, comfortable, and very welcoming. The staff were all kind and accommodating, which made my trip even more enjoyable.

A special thank you to Sir Noli for being incredibly helpful and professional throughout my stay. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth and comfortable for me. His excellent customer service, warm attitude, and willingness to assist truly stood out. I really appreciate all his help and hospitality.

I read the reviews and didn’t hesitate staying here. The hotel is a construction zone, it’s extremely dated and rundown. The staff were very nice and moved us to a newly renovated room which was amazing but I would hesitate booking unless you know forsure your going to get one.

The room was newly renovated and very nice!! Staff was very attentive and got us into a room quickly. Nilo helped us figure out a few things in the room. Thermostat control is behind the tv (kinda weird). The restaurant is easier to get to from outside. I’m sure the hotel will look amazing once all the renovations are done!

A part of a hotel is going through a renovation and my expectation was that it’s going to be noisy etc.
On the contrary it was not. We stayed in a new section and all was well.
The room was very comfortable and the linens, bed and towels were of good quality.
The breakfast was very good and shuttle service was excellent.

May 2026 they were doing the renovations to the entrance of the motel. The front desk was in a temporary spot but was easy to find. The area around the hotel felt safe. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful. Our room was wonderful with a makeup mirror that was usable, a place to put our luggage and open it, everything in the room was beyond excellent. Will definitely be back.

I love my room but the bed was not the size I saw on the site. Washroom was terrible. The receptionist that check me in was terrible based on how she talked to me. I really didn’t like it and felt less of myself. It was hard for me to change my mind I had to stay

It was a quiet and beautiful space. They are currently doing renovations so things are a little unusual but the clerks are really helpful and friendly. I did not like the bathroom at all. I understand it is a new and trendy look but I like a shower head thst I can move and I like to close off my shower area when I am taking a shower.
Our trip was very short, so we do not get the use/experience many of the amenities. It is a location that we would visit again.

A Brief Description of Our Stay

The room was clean and had everything we needed. The staff were great, but we did notice a small difference in service while having our breakfast on Saturday morning vs Sunday morning. However, maybe the difference in service had to do with the amount of training and / or experience, as the waitress on Sunday seemed a couple of years older and she made herself much more available to her customers. We never used the laundry, so we have no comment.

Overall, we have always found the Hotel Acclaim a great place to stay. Great staff, great rooms and great food.

The acclaim has been renovated and the rooms are gorgeous! Very comfortable and clean. The staff were very welcoming when we arrived. Check in was a breeze! The rooftop hot-tub was amazing and a great way to start our day! The restaurant attached to the hotel has incredible authentic Italian food and was absolutely delicious! Thank you to everyone for making our experience so memorable.

The hotel is under renovations which we were NOT aware of when booking. When we arrived, we couldn't find an unlocked door to enter, finally there was one at the back. We had to weave our way through construction to find the temporary guest registration desk in a hallway. The elevators were SCARY! made noises and shuddered. The guest room was ok, however I would never recommend booking into a hotel where half of it is under renovations!

Airport Shuttle to and from with breakfast provided that too in greedy capitalist North America. Win-Win and unheard off!!

Rooms were clean. Bathrooms were top notch and extremely polite and couretus staff.

I understand the renovation going on but come on, give the front desk team a bigger table to operate on. They are cramped up in that tiny space.

It is a lovely hotel in the process of being renovated. But, by no means does this affect the efficiency, comfort or feel of the hotel. Staff are nice and very friendly. The restaurant is so good. Had a wonderful breakfast, baked bacon and cheese crepe. Highly recommend!
The room was clean and has the best shower! I also found the hotel was quiet , slept great.

Property is very close to airport and parking facilities. Very nice restaurant "Pacini" where the food was excellent. Room was large and well equipped (stayed in the newly renovated section). Free breakfast for 2 or a couple of drinks at Pacini (depending on arrival/departure). Good gym and rooftop hot tub. Very good value for money.

The hotel was being worked on, I was not aware. We had no ac in both of our rooms, maintenance was helpful and fixed both. The light sensor in our room also did work, maintenance also had to assist with this.

The Acclaim is where we always stay when in Calgary. It’s excellent when travelling. They have a shuttle to and from the airport which is always convenient.
If in Calgary just to shop, there is a huge Mall close by.
The staff is friendly and very helpful at all times.
The rooms are modern and clean.
The restaurant attached to the hotel is very good and it’s always nice not to have to travel out of the hotel for dinner after a day of shopping or returning from a trip.
Over all we have always been very happy with our choice of staying at the Acclaim.

If you’re looking for a clean, budget-friendly place close to the airport, this property is a reasonable option. However, be aware that there is ongoing construction, which can be quite noisy. Additionally, the walls are very thin, so you may hear your neighbors walking, watching TV, and opening or closing their doors.
