While the online photos set high expectations, the reality was disappointing. The room felt quite dated, particularly the worn carpeting and aging furniture. Overall, the accommodations didn't reflect the modern aesthetic shown in the listing and lacked a sense of freshness.

Hotel still felt brand new like it did 13 years ago when I previously stayed here. Very clean, spacious & comfortable. Buffet breakfast was brilliant. The only negatives was the lack of any English language channels on the TV, and also there was no mention of my Expedia VIP reward by the staff. But all in all it’s a really great hotel.

This hotel is nice and modern with well appointed rooms. Big bathroom. It’s right by the edge of the city core but still within easy walking distance. We chose it because it was right in front of the Pilzen Urquell brewery where we had a tour booked.
It is a bit overpriced. The price was within my budget when I booked it but then I realised that I had booked a double room but for single occupancy. I was very surprised because it was the 3rd hotel I booked with expedia in a row. I contacted the hotel and they said that I could pay the extra upon arrival. The final price made it the most expensive night in our 2 weeks in Czechia but without any extra amenities.

OVER priced for what you get!!

Great hotel location next to brewery. I do believe for the lack of comforts of the room it is overpriced! You are definitely paying for locations and name. I would not stay here again for the price I paid of $225 a night without breakfast. Room small and no real comforts and AC could hardly keep up. I had to go to my car and bring up a fan. Staff was friendly.

This is a property situated very close to the Centrum. A small boutique hotel, but very clean and efficient. However, on a cold European morning to start the day without a coffee was very bad.! They did not have a coffee maker in the room and flatly said we don’t give it for rooms on the third floor. Of course, we could get one at the breakfast and incidentally the breakfast had very good choices of food. Would have rated higher if only they were more considerate in moving a coffee maker to my room !!

Great staff and very convenient and quiet hotel if you’re planning on visiting Pilsner urquell brewery. It’s a 5 mn walk from the train station and 5 mn from the brewery. The old town is also a 10-15mn walk from there.

Fast check-in and check-out. The hotel is at a crossroads, but I couldn't hear any noise (the windows weren't facing the roadway), the park and football stadium are nearby, as well as the train station. The room is normal, clean on the fourth floor, room 428. The bathroom has underfloor heating. I had nightmares the whole night, I guess the room has not good energy). There is a coffee maker in the room. Breakfast was the usual. All in all I was satisfied.

We were very thankful to use our free night here for an overnight stay in Pilsen. We wanted to tour the Pilsner Urquell factory, have dinner and stay the night. While checking in we asked where the brewery was and the girl pointed directly out the lobby windows at the front gate. It was directly across the street. Amazing location and very close to walking to the main square for food and checking out the Cathedral. Beds were so comfortable! The breakfast was also fantastic. Lots of choices. Completely satisfied. Oh! AND at the elevators they had a selection of plants to take to your room to keep you company. I have travelled alot and I have never seen such a great idea. We took Jana upstairs and let her watch tv with us.

Very nice hotel and wonderful staff

We have stayed before, and were very glad to be able to stay again, especially as it was an emergency. The hotel we were booked into was near Slany and had no stairs. As I had just had last minute knee surgery, I could not climb stairs. Vienna House Pilsen was our first choice for comfort and convenience, as well as having an elevator.

Air conditioinng needs help, big one.

The air conditioning in the room was not acceptable. It wasn't cool air coming out even I turned to the setting to the coolest. I tried ipen the window but it was raining outside. The electricity went out in the middle of the night (I knew it because i couldn't sleep) after a big lightning so it's getting worse. The electricity was back in 10-20 minutes. Other then these, everthing's fine with this hotel, location is great. Staffs are very helpful.

Good choice for attending the Freedom Festival

The hotel is modern and located just outside of the city center, separated only by a busy road to the historical part of the city. By car, gaining access can be a bit tricky and parking was not clearly signposted but since we were there on a weekend (and I assume that the hotel usually caters to a business crowd from Mo-Fr), it wasn't too big of an issue for us.

The rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. The breakfast room was large and comfortable with a pretty good offering of food. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to others visiting Plzen and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Great Hotel. Situation across the street from the Pilsner brewery and 2 blocks from the city center and within a 3 minute walk to the soccer stadium, this is the place to stay in Plzen. A gym and sauna with massage services are available for a minimum charge. We will definitely return.

Hotel is 7 years old and was ok. But ceipher locks are continual problem and the door from rear parking lot would NOT open for my key card. When a staff member came to assist me ... the door would NOT open for her! We both had to walk around the front of hotel to get inside.

Spotless hotel in a great location, ideally placed for the station, city centre and brewery. Staff were very pleasant and service was good both at the bar and for breakfast. The only downside was that the air conditioning wasn't particularly efficient and the windows didn't open, meaning that the room was stiflingly hot overnight.

Did not like how you had to login to wifi from webpage. iPad and android tablet got on ok, could not get my macbook to connect. This hotel was kind of tricky to find but well worth it. It's easy walk to the old square and church and Gen. Patton Museum ( very interesting). Lots of restaurants nearby, especially the one across the walkway in the Old Brewery (Pilsner Urquell). The breakfast buffet was the best we've ever seen or had. And the staff was the most accommodating ever. We had a problem with our rent a car and Martina spent almost 2 hours trying to help me work it out. She even stayed past her quitting time. The room was very,very nice large &comfortable
Parkingright out back for only 4CZK per day.

This hotel is easily reached on foot from the main train station and is located directly across from the Pilsener Urquell brewery. It is also a short walk (via pedestrian bridge and brewery) to the city center. We chose to book a room on the executive floor that included WiFi and breakfast. The breakfast buffet is the best I can recall in many years of travel. Literally everything you could want was available and very well presented. This is a modern, business class hotel with unique design elements. Staff was always friendly and helpful.

Great in many ways

I decided to stay at Hotel Angelo because of the location to the Pilsner Urquell Brewery. It was a quick stop own my way to Prague and I did not have a car. The brewery was location right across the street. The staff was very helpful and pointed out other places I may want to visit. The train station was about a 15-20 minute walk and the town square was only about 10 minutes to walk there. My room came with a free breakfast buffet and next to the brewery I ate dinner at Na Splice. It was priced well and had traditional czech food which was delicious! I would definitely stop by here again!

We just stayed one night, but it was perfect for us. There is a pedestrian bridge from the hotel to the Pilsner Urquell brewery, there is a Tesco right around the corner, and the city center was within walking distance, but a bit confusing. There are no pedestrian crosswalks at the very busy intersection that the hotel is located at. You must find the underground walkways, or make a brave sprint across like the locals did. The food in the restaurant was actually really good. The breakfast bar was large, diverse, and delicious. The beds were super comfy and the bathrooms were pretty large and very clean. The front desk staff all spoke English very well and the restaurant staff spoke enough. Parking was cheap and secure.

We plan to head back to Pilzn and will stay here again.

Angelo Hotel ideally suited my needs for somewhere comfortable and easily accessible in Pilsen. Room was comfortable, breakfast and dinner were good. Hotel is easily accessible from the main road into Pilsen from Prague, but better directions to the entrance might be helpful.

This Is A Really Good Hotel!

Only a 5 or 6 minute walk from the train station and only a 8 or 9 minute from the Old Town Square. This hotel is perfectly located, and its rooms are super modern and well-appointed. Breakfast is super, and the staff could not be more helpful.

I'm a reapeat guest, here, and I plan to return again and again.

Just Fabulous

We stayed here for 2 nights in August. We were in a large party, and all agreed it was an amazing place. It's in a side road just off the main shopping square, about a ten minute walk to the older part of town. The rooms weren't terribly large but contained all we needed. We'd booked the club rooms and would really recommend this. Movies and the minibar in the room were included, and there was also a happy hour where you could have beer and wine at the bar, plus snacks from 12-6pm. The breakfast was particularly good, catering for all tastes, as a vegetarian I felt well catered for. The hotel was well maintained and decorated throughout.
I really haven't got anything negative to say about the whole experience!

If you find yourself in Plzen and want to stay within a 5 minute walk of the train station and a short 10 minute walk of the old town square, then you can't pick a better hotel. The staff make this hotel. They constantly were asking me if everything was OK or if I needed anything.

I have stayed in a few 4* Hotels some are better than other and this is one of the best I've stayed in. I got the Train from Prague to Plzen. No need to get a taxi from the station it is in very close walking distance. If you have come to see the brewery there is no hotel closer. The entrance is directly opposite the hotel over the road. The room was very comfortable I especially liked that you could turn on under floor heating in the bathroom to warm the tiles. The staff were very helpful and spoke English very well. I was only there one night but would have been happy to stay longer. I only have 2 black marks against the hotel. The room is designed for mood lighting so the room always seems very dark, even with every light on you can't see very well. The other thing is that you have to pay for internet connection, they have computers around the hotel for your use so on the good side you don't have to bring your own but it is very expensive and expedia does not say you have to pay so be warned if you want to use internet access it costs

Das Beste am Hotel ist das Frühstück und die guten Zimmer und die Snackbar auf den 4. Stock und der Parkplatz hinter dem Hotel.
Negativ am Aufenthalt war, dass wir nicht das gebuchte Zimmer bekamen und erst auf Anforderung ein gebuchtes drittes Bett aufgebaut wurde. Handtücher etc. für die dritte Person gab es nicht einmal auf mehrfache Nachfrage. Die Arbeitsqualität des Housekeeping lässt auch noch Raum für Verbesserungen in Bezug auf Sorgfalt und Arbeitsumfang.

Gutes Hotel in Plsen

Das Hotel liegt in Plsen ungefähr 10 Minuten entfernt vom Zentrum. Zimmer war gut aber die stark befahrene Hauptstraße lag genau vorm Hotelzimmer. Wir hatten etwas Probleme weil wir auf 2 Etagen untergebracht waren, da der Fahrstuhl nur mit der Zimmer Karte funktioniert und nur auf die Etage fährt auf welches auch das Zimmer ist. Als war das \"besuchen\" ziemlich schwierig und man musste sich an der Rezeption eine Karte vom anderen Zimmer holen🙈ansonsten hat mir das Hotel sehr gefallen. Frühstück war sehr gut. Und es gab eine Garage im Hotel für unsere Motorräder für 16€ in der Nacht. Könnte man aber auch kostenlos machen finde ich. Ansonsten gerne wieder.
