OK but can be improved

Good place but lots to improve.

I paid for parking but since there was a cycling event I could not park in front of the hotel.
There were mosquitoes in the room (probably due to the swimming pool and the heat).
There is no light switch near the bed, so I have to walk in the darkness to go to bed.
Breakfast plates are small.

Accident at the pool - staff not interested-shame!

The hotel is very good.
The restaurant was excellent
Room very nice etc etc etc….

However the swimming pool was a bit of a disaster for us.
My wife slipped when walking down the steps into the pool.

When we looked closer the reason is simple - and could simply have been avoided.

The top step has anti slip vinyl attached - the descending steps also have anti slip vinyl BUT not across the whole step! So if you step down between the anti slip vinyl it is all too easy to slip and fall.

My wife did this - although the ‘lifeguard’ did not even look up at the commotion. Too busy on his phone. Even when I called over sarcastically “don’t bother yourself” he didn’t,

When we left the pool we went to reception to report this quite serious accident, the concern from receptionist was ZERO.

AND THAT WAS THE SUM TOTAL OF THE STAFF CONCERN.

So while the hotel itself is very good - I am very disappointed with the attitude of the staff mentioned.

The manager can feel free to contact me about this should he decide it is serious enough to at least enquire about the welfare of his/her guests injured on their property.

Good for business & family alike

Arrived at 1:45 PM I've asked if early check in was possible and it was, which was great as we were tired from the journey. Plenty of parking space as well for the guests so no problem there. Lobby was clean and so was the room. Its slightly dated but still up to the modern/business standards, covid wasn't kind to any hotel.

There was evening ball-gala event which was a bit louder but the rooms are sound-proofed, so wasn't much of an issue. Breakfast was up to the business and international standards, although it always surprises me, how small juice glasses can each hotel make.

Very clean place lots of parking and nice pool and tennis courts. Breakfast was really nice and constantly topped up with fresh hot food.
Only thing that would have been nice is a kettle in the room.

Everything was very fine until checkout when they charged me for the 3rd bed extra about 15 €, and this spoiled a kind of everything, because I thought that 3 beds where included in the price for which they made me this offer. I was searching from start for one room with 3 beds for my wife, me and my six years old son. So to pay extra for this 3rd bed is in my oppinion a total fraud or rip-off. Total unexpected shock. If I knew that I have to pay extra (this was not written in my reservation invoice) I would probably have choosen another hotel.

Stayed here a few weeks ago and returned because of that.
The accommodation and every aspect of the hotel was excellent.

Nice hotel on a the outskirts of the town, yet 10 mins taxi drive from the center. It's on the verge of a beautiful park, great for run or just outdoor relax in the summer. Good service, great breakfast buffet.

Good hotel. Service is good. Room was clean, spacious, and quiet. Parking is free as is breakfast which was good. Hotel is located next to a forest area and is a good place to relax in the outdoor seating areas. Restaurant has good service but food is not so good. My wife had risotto which was way to salty. I had a pork dish which was strips of pork and bacon (fat only) rolled together. The pork was raw in some areas.

Plzen, Czech Republic not a great place to visit.

Overall, my wife and I had a negative impression of Plzen as a whole. People in Plzen did not seem to smile. Everywhere we went, most people had a sour expression on their faces and when we asked for help, we got the impression that it was an imposition to help us out. At our hotel, except for reception, staff at our hotel seemed dissatisfied with their jobs and unhappy they had to work in the service industry. We also visited Prague and it seemed to be a much happier place to visit.

Good but no cigar - not a business hotel

I stay in Czech hotels alot, and usually service is excellent all over the country - unfortunately this hotel was lacking which surprised me. Good room and excellent wifi. Lots of tourists using the hotel which meant everything was crowded all the time. In fact on my final day, I was unable to get breakfast at 07.00 as the small room used for breakfast was completely full. When checking out, only one person at the desk and it took 20 minutes to checkout.

Hotel with promise - disappointing receptionist.

The Hotel was modern and quite clean.
We were unfortunate in that the first room given had a blocked basin, and the door would not lock, they offered a room with a bath but no shower, and then offered a SMOKE-INFESTED room which was less clean, and stated that there were no further rooms available. We had to sleep with the window open to dilute the smoke, it was a bit cold and humid but better than the alternative. The next day I enquired with a different receptionist whether the hotel was full overnight as the large car park was almost empty, she replied it was quite empty - less than twenty rooms occupied out of 105.

After all we were not complaining about the TV or the colour of the walls, but did expect to have functioing bathroom with a shower, a smoke-free sleeping area, and to be able to lock the room door when we sleep or go out to eat.
Had my wife not been very tired the evening before, I would have ventured to another hotel despite the late hour.

Zwischenstopp auf dem Weg nach Budapest. Für eine Nacht ok. Hatten ein Zimmer mit Behindertendusche im Erdgeschoss. Leider stand das Bad nach dem duschen komplett unter Wasser. Es war sehr warm im Zimmer, da die Klimaanlage nicht funktionierte. Einfache Einrichtung, ohne Möglichkeiten für Kaffee oder Tee. Frühstück war sehr gut.

I was sick. So I asked them to clean the room and change the sheets. They told me that the room is only cleaned every second day. I insisted and then they send a cleaning lady but just to make up the bed, no clean sheets. Hospitality and service not at the level where it should be.

Wir hatten die Business Suite für 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder. Die Suite war von der größe perfekt. Leider die Schlafcouch bisschen zu kurz für grössere Kinder. Aber für 2 Nächte ok. Es waren an beiden Abenden Veranstaltungen im Hotel. In der Lobby war es laut, qber im Zimmer haben wir davon nichts gehört. Das Frühstück war gut und wurde regelmäßig aufgefüllt. Das Personal war nett und zuvorkommend. Ein Stern abzug für die vollen Parkplätze wegen der Veranstaltung und man trotz vorrauszahlung der Parkgebühr damn doch ausserhalb parken musste.

Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig. Aufgrund der Lautstärke keine Nacht durchgeschlafen und jeden Morgen um 05.30h von Gesprächen anderer Gäste geweckt worden.
Viele Reisegruppen im Hotel. Dementsprechend laut.
Der Service im Restaurant war nicht hilfsbereit. Die Rezeption konnte mir diesbezüglich auch nicht weiterhelfen.
Das Zimmer wurde 1x gar nicht gereinigt.

Not worth the money

Not value for money. The rooms were ok, but nothing more. You would get a better room for the same money in Sweden. Beds quite hard and the interior decoration low quality. Convenient with large parking though, nice service, and the gym was great.

Hadde et fint business rom med eget soverom og en liten kjøkkenkrok i stuen. Romslig bad med boblebadekar. Benyttet oss av bassenget, det og området rundt var rent og fint. Delte ut lån av gratis badehåndklær. Frokosten var gid, ikke noe ekstraordinært men hadde alt vi trengte og mer! Spiste middag i restauranten, her var mat og service veldig bra!

The hotel is a big conference type Hotel located in the outskirts of the city how ever the public transportation is very convenient and take you there to the City Center in approximately 20 minutes.
They have a Fantastic pool area how ever it closes rather early at six o'clock in the afternoon, while the sun is still there so you could enjoy it a few hrs more.
The personnel in the hotel not super service minded! giving an example.. we wanted to have a cup of coffee in the morning but it was not possible due to the fact that they were serving breakfasts so they could not sell us just one single cup of coffee we had to buy the entire breakfast! Or we could Wait til they have finished The Breakfast at 10:00 then we would be able to buy our cup of coffee??!.

Per me è stato il primo soggiorno al Parkhotel di Pilsen, ho fatto un soggiorno di soli tre notti per lavoro, sicuramente la struttura è da sfruttare in toto con più giorni a disposizione e liberi da impegni lavorativi, in quanto mette a disposizione piscina, campi da tennis ecc...
Per me è stato positivo, lo consiglio a tutti.

Everything was fine except the following two things:
A) The pillows shall be changed - their filling feels like they are 100 years old
B) The the bathtop has no glas or curtain - means taking a shower without flooding the bathroom is quite challenging

Wir haben das Hotel gebucht weil wir eine Nacht in Pilsen übernachten wollten . Das Hotel ist sehr groß mit Restaurant und bar , Zimmer mit Teppich aber teilweise renoviert. Frühstück war nicht schlecht, Kaffe sehr gut . Nur die eigen Hotel Sanitär Anlage war sehr schmutzig, da sind wir doch noch mal in das Zimmer hoch.

全体的に清潔感はあり、心地良かった。
街の郊外でありながら１６番バスが駅から直通なのと、旧市街を通過していたので全く不便さは感じなかった。

朝食は結構良かった✌️😋

デスクの上にコップがありながら、水や湯沸器のサービスが無かったのは少し不便であった。
冷蔵庫にも何も無くせめて館内にドリンクの自動販売機があれば良いと思いました。

バッドが大きく深かったのは気持ち良く入浴できた🦆

サウナは別料金だったが、貸し切りが（1、２００CRN）できるのは素晴らしい✌️

フィットネスはタダ✌️🤸🏻‍♂️
屋内プールが無かったのは残念。
しかしながらホテル側の屋外プールの大きさほどは大きく感じず、夏場に入れても10m程なので日光浴がてらピチャピチャ水に浸かる🐠🐬🐳程度でしょうか。

近くのParkや湖は素晴らしい✌️🏝🏕🛶

Incheckning och utcheckning gick smidigt. Städningen var sådär, bad städerskan fixa till men inget gjordes. Lite rörig frukost pga mycket ungdomar. Parkering lättillgänglig då den finns på hotellet. Mycket Hårda sängar. Engelska fungerade sådär.

Prisvärd pärla med lätt ”öststatstouch”

Äldre välbevarat hotell med viss ”öststatstouch.”.Stort, rymligt, långa korridorerPr och gigantisk reception. Fin utomhuspool, stort gym och 2 restauranger med bra och mycket prisvärd mat. Välstädat och stor parkeringsplats. Gångavstånd till 15 fina tennis( grusbanor). 3 km gångavstånd till Plzen centrum, men spårvagn finns. Kan absolut rekommenderas!!!

Stedet ligger lidt udenfor byen. Meget præget af tennisaktiviteter og sport. Lille poolområde og hyggelig restaurant. Maden er god. Der er ekstra betaling for wellness. Fitness var dog med i prisen.

leider hatten wir ein Zimmer über dem Haupteingan an dem die ganze Nacht lang laut geredet und geraucht wurde. Das hat die Nachtruhe sehr gestört. Das Restaurant ist teuer und nicht nach unserem Geschmack

es wäre mehr möglich! Pool!

Ich war schon oft in Pilsen, jedoch konnte ich bislang kein Hotel finden, das einen Pool hat. Das war der Grund meiner Entscheidung. Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Jedoch könnte man mit wenigen Handgriffen das Wohlbefinden steigern! Zum Beispiel der Weg zum Pool. Aber auch der Empfangsbereich sieht total ausladend aus! Aber nun positive war die Freundlichkeit der Frau am Empfang. Ich habe ein anderes Zimmer bekommen, als das ich gebucht habe. Sie bemühte sich um ein besseres Zimmer, was letztes klappte.
Der Pool war wirklich gut, jedoch war eine Poolleuchte aus der Halterung gebrochen. Sah echt gefährlich aus! Auch das kann man mit wenigen Handgriffen einiges erreichen...
Das Hotel ist sauber, aber es fehlt das gewisse etwas für ein 4 Sterne Hotel...
Das Frühstück war gut! Das Personal war stets aufmerksam! Ganz besonders eine blonde Dünne Frau, sie schaute auch, dass das Buffett auch immer wieder schon aussah! Das Auge isst mit! Zudem räumte sie sehr schnell essen was neben dem Teller gekommen ist weg!
Der Speiseraum ist nicht einladend,... aber man frühstückt ja nur!
Das Hotel wäre wirklich gut, wenn man etwas verändern würde!
