I always stay here in Boston. This time I had all my family here too. 4 rooms. Hotel staff was great and super helpful from check in to check out. Front desk saved me twice this trip. Valet parking is worth every penny. Fast and super helpful. Location is central to a lot of Boston sites. Easy walk to lots of things.

I was not told about the breakfast voucher, but saw the notice about a voucher in the little shop right off the lobby. I was told I needed to hve gotten a voucher at check in. I did not receive one, nor was I told about them.As I was about to walk away, the hostess said she would give me one. It was the same way with water. I needed to ask the person at the desk for water before having any in the room..

The lobby bar is very relaxing and they have cocktail hours starting at 5pm which is lovely after work. Also, the gym is beautifully updated with the latest equipment. Overall a fantastic stay from great rooms to fantastic staff!

So you save a dollar a day by making the soap , shampoo, and conditioner squirt tiny drops at a time but by the time a guest has stood there for several minutes pumping and pumping just to get enough to wash their hair, you've more than lost it in guest perception of the hotel. Not to mention the likely cost of the water, just standing there pumping. It feels very much like the sort of thing where you pinched a penny but helped your guest in the eye, leaving them with a very sour perception of the hotel.

Location was perfect. Layout was accessible. Very clean. Even during peak traffic hours, things moved along steadily.

Only complaint is at the end of our trip. I was an obviously tired woman, with a young son in tow, and at 6am in the lobby with multiple suitcases, I let the friendly concierge gentleman give me a bottle of water, a seat, and the promise of a hotel car to take me to LaGuardia \"at the same price as a yellow cab!\". I was relieved for the help and didn't question. Suprise, surprise, the car service was twice as expensive which I learned at the end of the trip. Don't be midwestern naïve like me. Have a good stay!!

I had a good stay overall, but one of the elevators wasn't working, so there were long lines and waits for the elevator. Additionally, because I was there from Sunday to Monday, the hotel restaurant wasn't open which was disappointing. The price was right though, the room clean, and the fitness center great.

Location was great and they even offered discounted parking a few blocks away about $50 per day. The first night the ac was not really cooling we had to called the receptionist and they sent someone within 20 minutes to fix it. I was surprised the room came without microwave, coffee maker and plastic cups. It had a refrigerator but no coffee machine or cups, we had gotten some juice and had to buy cups across the street for a few dollars. Beside that I enjoy the noon check-out. Afterwards I was told by staff that I had to ask for the coffee maker and cups at the front desk.
The location was perfect, we walked everywhere.

My favorite part about this hotel was definitely the location! Close to everything! You could walk to so many things amd the subwayvwas literally around the corner. The staff was super friendly. My only complaint was not having a fridge in the room.

Cuando llegue me dijeron que no se podia hacer una entrada temprano que la persona que me dijo que si no sabia nada.el manager me trato muy mal. Pero lo mas incleible es que cuando revise mi extrato bancario me di cuenta que no medejaron hacer la entra temprano pero si me cobraron. The location is excellent!

Our housekeeper was pleasant.

Check in was robotic, no greeting. I was informed of a $40/day Destination Fee on departure. There was no mention of what it meant.

Late on our four day stay, we noticed quick, brief information on the Destination Fee while riding the elevator. It was not possible to read it completely, the screen changed so fast.

The hotel is in the perfect location! For that reason alone we would stay again. However there was only one working elevator for all 26 floors and that was horrible. It took so long to get up for down (we were on floor 16 so couldn’t even do the stairs). If that’s fixed, this is the perfect hotel for a NYC trip! Steps away from the subway, Central Park and Times Square! So many places like Starbucks, Premier Deli, Dunkin and endless gift shops around the property. We stayed with our kids and it was such a great area to be with them.

Mirror light didn't work in the bathroom upon arrival. Only one elevator worked for the entire hotel (apparently this has been going on for years). Had to wait in line 20 minutes to get on an elevator almost every time. Booked through this site and got a good price, but paid at the hotel only to discover a week later that they charged me $160 for food I never ordered and apparently $240 for receiving a package (that never happened). Great location and pretty lobby, but everything else about it I'd give negative stars if I could. Please do you research before booking here! Very scammy.

During my two day stay there was only one elevator working making the wait time for guests ridiculous. The elevators were small only 6-7 people could fit and that depended on how much luggage each person had. Thankfully i was on the 4th floor but the stairwell was creepy and i didn't feel secure. Not to mention trying to carry suitcases up long flights of stairs. There was no mention of this at check in and no update to guests on when it would be fixed.

The resort fee is a joke. At least most hotels provide bottle water and at $40 thats the least that coukd have been apart of the resort amenities.

The wait time for checking was long, as there were only two agents and there were bus loads of guests.

We have stayed at Park Central several times in the past. This stay was very different. We could definitely tell that it had gone downhill. When we arrived, the room did not have cups or glasses to fix a drink, no coffee maker, or trash can. The lock to the bathroom door was broke and there was a leak in the shower faucet. However, staff was very friendly and apologized. You can tell it’s under new management.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado, caminando a solo unos minutos de Central Park, a una calle arriba de la calle Broadway… en fin todo muy cerca para llegar a donde quieras sin problema. Las instalaciones del hotel también súper bien, en realidad todo lo calificaría excelente si no es porque solo funcionaba un solo elevador, y ahí sí que era una pérdida de tiempo porque te llevaba hasta 20 minutos de espera.
Volvería a llegar sin duda, solo verificaría que funcionaran los elevadores.

Maria was exception. She listened to my concerns and assured me that my room would be set when I got back. I heard her explain it to the manager. My room was not ready when I arrived at 6:30 and she told the manager that I would just drop my bags and come back later. When I came back the manager was rude sucking her teeth responding to another guest rudely. She nastily informed me that at 10pm my room was still not available. I was quite surprised since I was promised that it would be. The manager explained that she was going to put us in a queen bedroom (which we reserved a king). At 10pm I was not going to argue since we just wanted to get some sleep after a long day. She repeated many times that it is considered an upgrade. I just wanted what we reserved nothing more.
I saw Maria again at check out and she apologized for the management and assured me that this is not the norm. Everyone else we came in contact with with the exception of the manager at the desk was very nice and professional.

Overall the stay was average, nothing stands out as special from it. The only issue we had was that they tried to accuse us of vapping in the room and tried to add on an additional 500 fee because of it. My friend had used a steamer for her dress, and that set off their little hidden device in the room. It was really upsetting when the manager brought it up because she was very condescending about it. Because of that it the service left a bad taste. I feel the manager and front desk staff could have handled it better. Especially because no one had smoked it vapped but they were very undermining and rude about how they brought it to our attention.

The only good about this hotel is its location.
The rooms worn out, no ventilation working so smelled and stiffness in the room.
One lift broken in our wing so literally takes 10-15min to get down or up to the room.

The room was clean and extremely spacious for Manhattan, but it was missing a lot of key amenities—no coffee, fridge, etc. The cleaning staff was great and always made sure to get to my room, regardless of what time I headed out. The only true complaint I had is that only one elevator was in service, making wait times very long. Otherwise, I had a lovely stay.

The good: Location, price and cleanliness. The King room was larger than expected and very tidy. Decent deal for car parking a few blocks away.
The bad: Only a single elevator working, no mini-fridge or even plastic cups, lack of staff at front desk (expected these days in NYC). Felt like we spent a lot of time waiting. Thermostat would not stay at temperature we set, but it was still comfortable.

Temas importantes, colchones de las camas muy pero muy deteriorados, pésima, casi nula presión de agua en la regadera y no servía el Aire Acondicionado/calefacción. De lo demás: Los cuartos están viejos y MUY mal mantenidos. La primer recepcionista con muy mala actitud, no servía uno de los elevadores y eran esperas de 15 min, en el cuarto no servía el teléfono, no hay toalleros en el baño, no proveen secadora de pelo ni folleto de \"no molestar\", el porta papel roto, no aspiraron (estuvo en la alfombra a la vista la misma M&M roja desde que llegue hasta que salí), no hay vasos. Un día llegamos y las camas tendidas pero las almohadas en la alfombra, otro día dejaron artículos de limpieza en el buró. Cada vez que me acerque a la recepción había un cliente quejándose del servicio y de los cuartos. Lo único bueno del hotel es la ubicación, inmejorable. NO lo recomiendo, honestamente fue una pésima experiencia mi estadía.

The room is big for NYC standards. This is our favorite place to stay due to the location. Close proximity to the parking garages, quick walk to Central Park or the theatre.

We were disappointed that we had no refrigerator in the room. My husband is a diabetic and has meds to be refrigerated. Went down to ask to have one brought up. Manager that was on got us an upgraded room. We were down to one elevator and long lines but this was not the staff issue. Enjoyed our stay !!!!

The room was clean and well-kept, which I appreciated. I didn’t interact much with the staff, but I do wish I had been told about the parking arrangement with Icon beforehand—I only found out at checkout and ended up paying more for parking somewhere else.

I also wasn’t informed about any of the amenities, which would’ve been helpful during my stay. On the positive side, the housekeeping staff was very kind and did a great job keeping the room clean and taking out the trash. I accidentally left my laptops in the room and everything was exactly where I left it when I returned, which I really appreciated.

Overall, a clean and comfortable stay, but better communication would make a big difference.

There was only 1 elevator working which can only hold 6 people . They gave away our reservation and then they gave us a room with the toilet dirty and the bed wasn’t really made . They moved us to another room and the plumbing was horrible. The water would sit on the sink , the shower wasn’t great. The tv wasn’t working well either that we have to get someone to fix it in the middle of the night. I will never stay there again

My friend and I stayed 6 nights on the 18th floor. Only two elevators are used for floors 1-18. One had been down before we checked in, and was still when we checked out this morning. So very long waits to go up and down.

Housekeeping wouldn’t always give use clean washcloths (even though we got fresh hand and bath towels), so we had to call to get clean ones.

There is a $45/night resort fee on top of the price you pay on Expedia. This allows you to get 10% of a few restaurants in the hotel. I came to Manhattan to tour the city sites and restaurants-not stay and eat in theirs. So not happy that this isn’t made clear when booking your reservation!

It was not the staff particularly- it was the system that is so confused, so rigid, so UN-HUMAN that it was constant difficulties and frictions. This is not customer service- and the fault lies with the owner/operators.

The people here in the hotel that I speak to with my mouth do not have control over the system- and the customer suffers. And in my case particularly- since I was recuperating from an illness and I THOUGHT that having staff and a concierge and amenities would be helpful.

Instead they got almost no sleep and constantly reoccurring headaches problems issues with lost communications. It was awful and I’m moving to another hotel.

It looks a nice hotel. But I was really frustrated with a shortage of the stuffs at front desk and the elevator issues. They have only 2 elevators (2 left elevators are actually not usable to this hotel guests), and they are not enough to serve the number of their guests. I had to wait more than 5 minutes or more every time I used them, and it stopped almost every floor even though no one was there. They also have almost no amenities available in the room and the phone at the room was broken to call any hotel service. I will not consider this hotel anymore.
Also, they charge you $100 resort fee at arrival. Be careful!

Great location, great staff, clean room, huge bed.
Now for the bad. If you dont like city noise, select your room carefully. Windows definitely are not soundproof or even slightly noise reducing, street noise (sirens, horns, etc.) was prevalent all night, but hey, it is the city! Other issue is lack of elevators. Be prepared to wait!
Overall though, excellent experience and great location just south of central park next to Columbus Circle and Carnegie Hall.

Only one elevator was working all week which led to 20 minute wait times to leave or return from our room on the 18th floor. There was no ability to control the thermostat in the room and the windows only open a crack. The room was stuffy and hot which made it difficult to sleep. One the 2 mattresses in the room was caving in on one side and very uncomfortable. Location is excellent. Walking distance to Central Park, theatres and Times Square.

I have stayed at this hotel so many times I've lost count. It was always my go-to hotel so I even did so while I lived in NY and had to stay overnight for business. That was then!

Unfortunately, my visit this week will be my last. The hotel is tired and worn and dirty. My first room (1065) looked like a Motel 6, if that. There was a stain on the bedspread; lamp shades were lopsided due to no finials; I had to fight with the drawers to get them into the dresser. Safe was broken or not working. Carpeting was filthy.

I asked for a different room and got one. It was better but the carpeting was also dirty. And the safe also no working. The amenities are a bar of soap and a tube of lotion at the sink. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are on the shower wall.

We met a woman who was sent up to a room that was still dirty and not ready. Her first and last time, she said!

The lines for checking in and out are horrendously long bc they bring in large economy tourist groups who may not care. There are 2 small elevators on the left side of the lobby and maybe 3 on the right side so give yourself extra time to get down to the lobby with luggage.

The bar area is comfortable and roomy. The hotel staff is very pleasant and accommodating so no complaints there. The room attendants were great!

Overall, I give the Park Central a 3-4 at best! Don't believe the website!
