The rooms were clean and neat, and the spa inquiry was completed, though the spa services seemed a bit expensive. Shops are nearby, which is convenient for shopping and dining. However, breakfast was not included, and the cost of breakfast was very high.

There are several nightclubs in the area and they blast loud music till midnight most evenings. It is impossible to sleep till they have stopped which is at midnight

On the bright side the staff is polite and helpful.

Overly pricy

Amazing room service and spa. Other than that, nothing else to mention. Room was smelly and not very well maintained. Good thing is, I didn’t stay throughout the day(s) in the room. Overly priced. For the same price, I could have opted near Aerocity.

Good place in Sector 29

Good value place that is right in Sec 29. They will accommodate special requests for breakfast and you can get a yoga mat in your room if you ask at the front desk. Can be a bit noisy at night because of proximity to all the bars and music in the area. Clean, comfortable rooms. Will stay again.

Hotel is not cooperative and bluntly refused to help. They instead send us to find parking on a chaotic Saturday night crowd. The apology came too late and too little. Which was again filled with excuses!

The most horrible hotel that I have ever stayed. The hotel staff were not at all helpful very rude but it was my helplessness and I had no other choice will suggest everyone not to stay in any of the Lemon tree Hotels

Did not live up to the advertisement

I thought I had booked a hotel similar to those in the Aerocity. The pictures for the business room did not match what was actually offered. I was disappointed and the reception desk gave me a legal argument that they are not required to match the room to the pictures. It led to war of words in the lobby and bitterness throughout my stay. Later on they rectified the situation by giving a somewhat better room. Overall, I would say that the hotel is at most three stars.

They accommodated the check-in while we were waiting to get copies of our visa and passport. Really appreciated that. Breakfast was good. However, some items such as fruits were over and were not replenished.

Rooms were small but given the location, it is expected. Did not use the pool. Had to request an additional towel in the room. Oversight by housekeeping but was promptly delivered.

Ok for short overnight stay...

Did not meet expectations. The room was far too small & not like the displayed picture. Bathroom was very tiny with no bathtub. We took a half board shelling almost the same money as room cost on two meals & the selection wasnt great. Luckily we just had to scrape through one night due to some work & hence we managed.

No Free WiFi: The 24hr charge is not too big, but its awkward to have to pay for it.

Room Cleanliness is not that great.

Staff: I was on a business trip, I asked for bills of my in-room dining split up on daily basis (for ease of expensing) which they could not.

Lemon Tree Gurgaon - OK Experience

It was a decent experience.

It appeared that the hotel offers a low rack rate for room and then charge exhorbitantly for every little thing during the stay. For instance, Hotel refused to give me internet as part of my package despite it being mentioned at the time I made the booking on hotels.com. Food is good but definitely on the expensive end (more than the premium you want to pay for the quality). Nothing major but finding this lets charge super premium for everything was bad taste. Staff were good. It would have been helpful to have all charges listed upfront at the time of booking to compare the overall cost - This is not really budget.

Few point which I didn't like :-

-On reaching hotel, our luggage was left at scanner only
-No one bothered to take our luggage to our room
-TV remote in the room was not working & I had to get it replaced it two times
-There was delay in response time for any complaint
-AC suddenly stopped working in our room & on chasing with reception it was started again.

Remarkable Stay

The stay for me and my wife was remarkable although we could only spend 2 nights. In future if the need be for me to stay in Gurgaun, I doubt I will take the trouble to source for other hotels (nothing against them). First impression and experience is always difficult to be substituted.

Pleasantly surprised

Coming from America, I had never heard of the Lemon Tree brand and didn't know what to expect. The hotel looked almost brand new and had a lot of little niceties that really impressed. There are some good restaurants and bars across the street as well. If you are looking to spend less than at the nearby Crowne Plaza or the Westin, this hotel is an excellent choice!

Insufferable service

We had arranged an airport pick up that never materialized. After many frantic phone calls from the airport we never got an explanation or help. Had to hire an unfamiliar taxi and find the hotel. We got no explanation and a simple \"sorry\" from the front desk. The rooms were clean but noisy from musical events outdoors. The food served promptly but greasy and unappetizing.The TV had connection problems. While the edifice is fine the service is poor. The front desk could not even provide change for tipping. The luggage had to be brought in with no help. This is a budget hotel with poor service and high rates at that. International and vulnerable travelers would do well to avoid it. A modicum of training and support by management would benefit the place immensely. At present one gets the feeling that the management has completely abandoned the staff and certainly the guests.

Marginal and unreliable service

We had requested an airport pickup, this failed to materialize with no explanation or apologize after multiple panic calls. On arrival in a taxi after many attempts to locate the hotel by an unfamiliar taxi we were simply told \"sorry\".The doorman suggested we take our luggage from the pavement to the front door on our own with no assistance. The front desk was unwilling to provide change which I had indicated I needed for tips! The physical structure is good and the rooms of good size and clean. The TV did not function and we had already given up on the staff to help. Primarily, I feel while the group has built a nice hotel they have not been able to staff it with professionally trained personnel. It's quite clear that given some training in attitude and efficiency they may be a reasonable place to stay. At present I certainly would warn off any international travelers or those that are vulnerable to avoid this hotel.

Modern business-type hotel in Delhi suburbs

The hotel appears to be new. Room met Western expectations: comfortable bed, TV, nice bathroom, minibar, air conditioning, etc. Excellent breakfast buffet included in the rate. Unlimited Internet in business center; 30 min free each day (I couldn't get my laptop to connect, though--may have been my laptop, not sure). Helpful staff allowed me to check out at 2 pm. Shopping centre across the road with shops, McDonalds, KFC, groceries, etc. Generators kicked on whenever there was a power cut. Nice swimming pool and deck that I looked at but did not use. Spa, also--did not use, though.

Refreshing as a Lemon

I had an overnight stay at this hotel. First thing to notice is the ambiance, its very bright, bright lights, white color everywhere and staff in lemon colors. I am more used to warm ambiance so it wasnt upto my taste. The location is good, not that close to metro but certainly at the heart of one of the hangout places in Gurgaon. The service staff was the most humble, courteous, polite I have ever encountered. Right from the security to the reception to room service everyone of them was at top of their service. For a business traveler, the rooms are of apt size not too small neither too big. If I compare the room sizes with Country Inn in the same locality then I would say the rooms are small. In the room you would find all the basics, including a 40 inch LCD TV albeit without set-top box and no streaming of IPL matches. Beds are comfy and I had a goodnight sleep. The breakfast spread was really nice with a variety of North, South and Continental cuisine. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. They also have a pub at lobby level which I could not visit. All in all my stay was pleasant and very bright. I can definitely recommend it to business travelers.
