As a loyal member of IHG for the past 14 years (been a gold member for very long), I have had amazing experiences at various other IHG hotels
At Crowne Plaza Gurgaon, one inquiry passes through at least 3 staff members and their responses dont alogn woth each other. I booked 4 rooms as our family (10 people) were meeting in Delhi (all travelling from different locations) and the intention was to find a common space to sit down and have a conversation.
The hotel staff couldnt accomodate this request

At Crowne Plaza Gurgaon, one inquiry passes through at least 3 staff members and their responses dont alogn woth each other. I booked 4 rooms as our family (10 people) were meeting in Delhi (all travelling from different locations) and the intention was to find a common space to sit down and have a conversation.

Also as an example if I wanted to get taxi to airport with hotel it cost 3500 rupees and an uber was 250 rupees. The staff is dedicated to excellent service. The only issue i had was with the way my eggs were cooked, i had to send them back at least once every morning for 6 days straight. Other than that it is top notch service. There are some superstars here that will ensure your stay is pleasant and resolve any issue that arises. Completely waste of money. Room had a damp smell. They change from level 4 to level 5 and same issue. I couldn't sleep as smell was so bad. I even asked housekeeping to come and check. They also confirmed the dampness and just did a spray which lasted for couple of hours.

Team members were nice and helpful from reception to housekeeping to dining area! saurav helped me in the late evening, my daughter needed warm milk, he smiled and took our bottle and filled with milk 2 times in a row and didn’t even charged us, he works at the restaurant reception. We loved it every bit. Housekeeping team is also incredibly nice.

I just went to India and had an amazing 10 day stay at Crown Plaza(Gurugram). The property is good and what really makes the experience is the staff. Some names I remember Utsav from Front-desk, Mukesh, and Vipin from Housekeeping. I don't know all the names but everyone from the restaurant was also amazing. We opted for breakfast and dinner there and I was really impressed by the service. I have travelled all over the world and can confirm the experience here was definitely one of the best. I can definitely recommend this Hotel in terms of service, location or anything you expect at a 5 Star. I would love to stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay at Crown Plaza but three property urgently needs major renovation as the furniture is old and falling apart.

The moment I walked into the lobby I realized I had made a terrible mistake. You are immediately overwhelmed with the stink of artificial chemical odour remover to mask the strong smell of cigarette smoke. This is smoking friendly hotel, and you’ll smell cigarettes even if you’re on the non-smoking floor - your linens smell. I had a light nicotine buzz the whole time.
I’ll spare you with the gory detail on the other stuff, although I will say the whole place needs a major renovation.
Spend the extra $30-$50 and stay at the Oberoi in Gurgaon.
