What a great hotel! I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. Your restaurant served outstanding cuisine. I thoroughly enjoyed the different dining options. I would definitely stay there again. It was nice to have a lovely swimming pool to relax after a busy day of sightseeing.

This was a last minute booking due to travel plans being changed by the conflict in the Middle east.
This hotel provided a comfortable clean room for a very reasonable price. The staff were all very helpful.
DO NOT USE THE CORNER SHOP OUTSIDE THE HOTEL! They were making up prices and taking advantage of tourists!
The hotel garden backing onto the Nile river providing an amazing back drop, the pool area was on a floating platform.
Tye restaurants were an all you can eat Buffet, Italian or a Chinese i eat in the buffet and the Chinese very nice.

Iberotel Hotel in Luxor is very beautiful on the outside with a great view of the Nile River, well kept grounds with beautiful gardens and even a big pool next to the river. There are several restaurants on the property where you can eat but I find the price to be high in comparison to restaurants outside, also their tax service is very expensive. I booked my airport taxi with Agoda for $15 CAD and tge hotel charges $25 USD. The staff is very helpful but I find that they are not good with directions. Our room had a balcony which was nice. However, the room is outdated. They need an upgrade to match the outside of the hotel. This is a bit deceiving. All in all, the it's agood place to stay and it is witin walking distance to the Corniche and the Souk and Luxor temple.

Being a frequent traveler, I was very disappointed by this Hotel. Basically it did not offer value for money. I paid over $100 per night, hoping to get a four stars quality, but unfortunately, the room does not even qualify even for three stars. The Internet was too weak that I had to rely on my 5G. The bathroom was in a bad shape, but the main problem the water pressure was too weak to take a shower. And above that the hotel doesn’t have double glass windows so the noise from the Main Street adjacent to the hotel kept us awake during the night. I think this hotel needs a good face lift before it becomes a 4 star. Mind you the reception is very nice and I was very impressed when I walked in. Also the restaurant is good and they serve very nice breakfast. But the noise in the room plus no Internet and the weak water pressure was a big turn off

The staff are really helpful. We had the Nile view room so greeted with a view of the Nile each day. The buffet breakfast and dinner was good with plenty of vegetarian options although staying for a week I would in hindsight eat out more in the evening. The bathroom was on the small side. Great grounds and the pool area was a great place to watch the sunset.

Room was fine, good amount of space, comfortable, clean, and mostly well equipped. Plates and eating utensils would be an improvement though. The common areas and the garden and restaurants were very nice. And the location along the river was all so very nice. While building seems reasonably new, the gardens and landscaping seemed older and were very charming. The view from the bar was beautiful. We ate at the pizza restaurant and found it very good. One big annoyance was that WiFi never worked anywhere. This seems to be normal in Egypt. It’s very hard to get working WiFi.

The lobby area is beautiful, and the staff were very helpful throughout our stay. The pool area also looked inviting. The breakfast was too good. However, the room itself was just okay and felt a bit dated. Additionally, on the first day of our stay, the sink was blocked. While the issue was fixed promptly, it wasn’t something you want to encounter right after checking in, especially when using the bathroom for the first time.

The overall facilities were nice. Yard was cute and pool looked great (we didn’t use it though). The room though, it needed some serious upkeep and cleaning. It was disappointing to say the least. Hotels always do this. Post pictures that look a lot nicer than the reality.

The manager here was so amazing and welcoming to us. He made sure our stay here was amazing from start to finish. We had to go to the airport early in the morning and was going to miss breakfast however he made us a breakfast box so that we weren’t starving in the morning when we went to the airport in addition to the great service at this resort, it was so beautiful staying here and I wish we got to stay longer.

"Great Value, But Noisy City Rooms"

I recently stayed at this hotel and was impressed by the great price and excellent facilities. The amenities were top-notch, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

However, the room I stayed in faced the city, and the noise from traffic made it hard to sleep. The hotel could benefit from better soundproofing for rooms facing busy streets.

Overall, it's a great value with excellent service, but light sleepers may want to request a quieter room. I'd return if the noise issue is addressed.

Staff and security were very welcoming.Check in was quick and very informative about activities and all the amenities they offer.Room was very comfortable with a mini fridge which allowed us to stay in and eat in after being outside in the Luxor heat.Swimming pool was so relaxing with nice view of Nile river and mountains in distance.Continental breakfast with fresh pastries,omelettes,and fruit was the perfect start to the day.Would definitely recommend and would stay again.Also very close to everything and great central point for all activities

Was told thwy woukd take us to the airport via limo and then they were 10 min laye and found ou they called a local cab whicich should have been $2 usd but had to oay what the car service woukd have been at 25 usd!!!!

In general the iberotel is good. The location is perfect for exploring Luxor, the staff were very professional and helpful, Great pool area and excellent breakfast.
However the rooms are slightly dated and in need of modernising and improving. Plus if you're on the road side it can be quite noisy with lots of traffic noise.

You have to pay extra for a Nile view to avoid a noisy main road so glad we paid the extra on arrival as sleep is important. Breakfast very good with quality choices and staff very helpful. There is a bit of a scam with a local driver who's the 'unofficial' car. Hotel agreed 400 local currency for a trip & on return driver tried to claim 400 each which we refused to pay.

Best location, nice Nile River view from room, clean hotel, but very slow service. Took 30 mins to checkin 3 rooms. Also all 3 rooms were on three different floors even though they were booked together. Room was clean but bit outdated. This is the only hotel in our 10 days stays in Egypt where we needed adapter to use our USA phone charger. All other hotels and even in cruise, we were able to plug our charger directly. Also they had only one electric receptacle at the corner of room to use for phone charger. No receptacles on bed sides which was strange. In bathroom, no shower help dispensers. Both dispensers were for shampoo and conditioner. The corner lamp was not working. Water was flowing very slowly in bathroom sink. Nice hotel but need staff training and room upgrades.

The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The garden setting on the Nile river is beautiful. We saw 3 wedding parties using the grounds. Although there are various dining restaurant options, most of these were not available. The Lotus boat trip to Dendara would be something I would do next time. The buffet breakfast and dining is excellent and even caters for various allergy sufferers

good location -just ok value for your money

Stayed at this hotel 1 night, after we left our cruise and while we waited for an early morning flight. The room was clean, but basic and incredibly loud (facing the busy street). I can't believe we were assigned that room, as the hotel was far from full, the price was not cheap (not for Egyptian nor US standards), and it was obvious we needed to rest. Impossible without ear plugs. Bathroom was clean, but could use a renovation. The mattress was comfortable, but the only pillow was too large for sleeping. The outside/waterfront area looked nice, stylish, secluded, and comfortable, but we did not get to use it because it was already dark (and pool closed) when we checked-in. Breakfast was nice and varied (pastries, fruits, yogurts, cereals, eggs/omelettes, sausages, juices & coffees), and well presented.
Customer service could be improved at the front desk. We had booked a queen bed, but got assigned a room with 2 twins. When we went down immediately after check-in to resolve the issue, the staff behaved as if they were doing us a favor. Again, both rooms (twin beds and queen one) faced the busy street. Unbelievable those rooms are used given the price paid.
Location is good, just at the beginning of the river walk --a 10 min stroll to Luxor temple. Safe, lively area.
I would not stay again at this hotel. Not recommend if you need to sleep.

Just stayed for a few hours overnight in a room overlooking the Nile. Arrived at 2.30am. Front desk helpful in guiding price of taxi from airport (saved a lot of money!). Room quiet and clean with fabulous view over the gardens and river in the morning before departing for Temples and cruise. Didn’t partake of breakfast so cannot comment. Staff were all great!

I have stayed here several times, three times on my own. I choose a Nile facing room with Queen bed and amazing View over the river to Valley of Kings. Early in the morning you can watch the balloons taking off from the opposite bank. The room is very comfortable but the bathroom small though clean.
The pool area and small garden is nice.
Food options good and with the exchange rate, very good value for visitors..
All the staff are amazing. A special mention for the concierge ( sorry I forget your name) who cannot do enough to help.
It was nice to meet the General Manager and the Restaurant Manager. Be back again Inshallah.

An incredible hotel. We spent a week there. The hotel is super well located, c10 mins walk into the centre of town. On the banks of the Nile with incredible views of the Valley of the Kings and the Nile. The swimming pool floats on the Nile and is just wonderful. The grounds that run down to the Nile are beautiful and a real oasis. The service from all the staff however was just on another level - its definitely a 5 star service. All the staff were friendly, helpful, genuine, caring, attentive, but done in a very professional manner, not over the top, just right. The staff made our stay very special and thats what we remember most. You are treated very well by everyone and all the restaurants, bars etc are very good and places you want to go to, away from the hustle and bustle of Luxor itself. I cannot rate this Hotel and its staff high enough, we will definitely visit again next year.

The hotel is located very close to Luxor temple and a very good area indeed. The amenities and ambience is great and breakfast spread/ room were excellent. Only thing which was strange was that rooms didn’t have iron box to press clothes given the hotel amenties and they charged 5$ to have clothes pressed which was a bit farcical I felt. Overall good stay and would recommend it highly nonetheless.

Beautiful Nile hotel, but bad room allocation.

This is a beautiful hotel with an amazing front lawn, restaurants, fabulous pool and very warm friendly staff. However, they ignored my booking requests for a high floor and double, and also hadn't prepared the extra bed for my daughter. The requested rooms were available, but that took 30 minutes. It's also unfortunate that the first person to approach me in the hotel garden was a felucca trip organiser trying to sell me a trip. I expected the hotel to be relaxing and a break from the world outside.

Top tip. Side Nile view rooms are above a street roundabout. Ask for a high floor to avoid the car fumes and noise.
