The staff in the breakfast buffet made this hotel well worth it and I would return. The hotel was clean, well maintained, the staff in the breakfast area would go out of their way to help which made a pleasant stay. The hotel is overpriced, particularly for the car services, uber is much cheaper but the staff made our stay wonderful.

The over all stay was good.Its very close to the metro station and main road.All places are accessible like Akhshardham temple,Atta market etc.
The only thing I did not understand that when you arrive at the lobby, nobody is bothered to help you with your luggage but when you are checking-out you have one hotel guy per bag.

Good stay in Delhi! Very clean room with comfortable bed and nice shower. Check in process could have been improved with more attentive staff that should smile more and not dismiss us when we ask questions, they also put in a smoking room after requesting non-smoking - however it was easily resolved. the upstairs restaurant food was amazing for dinner and breakfast plus the manager was extremely nice!

BEWARE.....I reserved the room thinking i would be offered a non smoking room. But when they took my payment and sent me the email confirmation It was a Smoking room. I tried to cancel the reservation immediately within 10 minutes of booking but it wont let me. Expedia got involved and they said, no worries you will be refunded as you have tried to cancel immediately. But to no avail. Holiday Inn did not even tried to contact me. So I lost $100 for a nights stay. I will report this matter to their management and do whatever possible to aware the people of this malpractice and deceptive policies.

The hotel refused to honor the booking for King size bed room despite booking in advance .The staff was rude and don't care attitude citing its not guaranteed .
Defeats the purpose of advance booking and my trust on Holiday inn as a chain is seriously dented .
Expedia to be fair, tried their best but really disappointed with Holiday Inn as a chain and is reflected by the fact that my next booking I avoided them .
Would recommend Expedia should consider blacklisting such chain which doesn't keep guest first , which is the basic principal in hospitality industry !

I never had to write a review but the worst experience at this hotel made me write this review. We booked 6 rooms and had multiple issues :

1st issue - 1 room booked under no smoking room had a strong smell of smoking, upon asking the help desk all they did was spraying a room freshener.
We requested for a room change. When we thought the issues has been taken care, then we dealt with another leaking issue in the washroom and had to use the place as is. (I have a video)
Next day when I went to concierge and spoke to manager and told him the issue, all he did was to ask us to send him the video of the leakage and no apology or concern.

2nd issue : Poor service - Upon asking a glass multiple times during breakfast, the service manager just showed us her hand and we had to wait 15 minutes for a glass. (morning of 4th September 2022)

3rd issue : When we checked out, the staff put someone else bag in our car. When they found out about it the manager called with no apology and asked me to come back to return the luggage ???? Then we told them to send someone else to pick the bag as its not our fault. When the other person came to pick up the bag all he said was \"its okay\"

we came from 3 different cities and had great experience until we stayed at this hotel.
mismanagement, poor hospitality, bad maintenance.

For the price, it's an unbeatable value. But the property in particular, it's definitely showing its age. The staff is courteous although, they did put me in a smoking room at first even though I specifically asked for a non smoking room at check in. When I got to the room and complained about it, they first said they can send someone with a room freshner (which is basically going to kill your lungs even more). I insisted on a different room and they obliged and moved me in 10 minutes. Breakfast is OK, nothing to write home about. But again, for the price, it's a great value overall.

Samya, Lovejit, the travel desk, and all of the other employees, whom I didn’t get there names were very nice, kind and caring towards our needs. I will definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants to visit Amritsar, all of the guidance they give is spot on... I am from USA, and felt like I was home... BTW, please use the hotel travel desk for Wagah Boarder and the Golden Temple... You will not regret it... thanks guys, this was a very memorable visit.

Fantastic, clean, new hotel. We were accidentally given a smoking room but they quickly moved us to a non smoking room as soon as we walked in and smelled the smoke. The breakfast was an amazing feast of Indian dishes and American fare. Checked out and left our luggage all day and they were so kind and helpful when we returned later that night.

Good but let down by bad service which is a shame

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We booked the first night ourselves the other two were linked to a tour. The room we booked was a non smoking city view we got none of these. We did not realised it was a smoking room as we were too tired to notice but as soon as the air con was switched on you could smell the smoke. We were offered a change of room for the second night, but as we did have the Air con on we could not be bothered to move. On the third night 10 of us ordered drinks in happy hour but were charged full price so we had to complain. Apart from that, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent, do go for the buffet which has a wide choice. The hotel is very close to the metro (Blue line) which takes about 30 mins to get to the centre. I would recommend this hotel but do check you get what you book and order.

If priced correctly good option for IndiaExpo

If priced correctly it is a good option, breakfast is complete, chefs prepare fresh western and Indian food, it is central between IndiaExpo and the airport. About 30 min drive each way depending on traffic. A metro station is nearby. The hotel can arrange a taxi or you can use your Uber account. The 5 star hotel of the same chain is next door so you have more restaurant options. The area is away from the city and air quality is really bad so be prepared, on the other hand the hotel next door specializes in weddings so you will get to see people wearing beautiful gowns and if you are lucky even an elephant. There were no hotels available during my visit to IndiaExpo so I paid 3 times the usual price. It is normal for hotels to increase prices during special events but it was more expensive than 5 star hotels in the area.

The service was pathetic

The hotel was fine in cleanliness and facilities but the staff and service was beyond terrible. The two days that we went down for the buffet breakfast, the service was pathetic. Initially,the host asked us if we would like coffee but then that was it.We were there for an hour and no-one came to check on us. The second day the service was worse than the first.
The night I was checking out I called the bell boy and after waiting for 15 minutes for someone to come, I brought my suitcases down myself.
Never have I experienced such terrible service.

Good hotel gone bad. Lacks maintenance.

Poor condition of rooms, ill maintained and needs severe restoration and serious maintenance efforts from the staff. Room was not clean - pillow cover had stains, shower curtain was stained and rusted, ironing board had questionable spots. It was much better hotel when owned by Hilton earlier, Holiday Inn spoiled it all. Wouldnt recommend staying here.

They have well designed rooms. Toilets don't have shut-off sprays. WiFi is not free in the rooms and you have to come down to the lobby for that. This is a basic neasesisty nowadays. Food at Cafe 3 is fair.

Staff screw up on last day on check out time

The stay was good but on final night I requested for late checked out which was agreed. However on check our day the front desk was calling every hour from 8am & housekeeping was sending staff knocking even with do disturbed sign.
I called duty manager to complaint howeve was said that was housekeeper not front desk!
It's a Hotel Management your own hotel issue, for God sake!
