We checked in to the room with broken door in the restroom. Hair dryer was not working. Breakfast was terrible. Overall we’re disappointed with staying here.

The room i has been stay for 8 day the AC was not cool at all. Since first nite staying already complaining to the receptionist and they said will chexk on it till next 2 day again i did tell them about and still the same nothing happening. As same the shower drain is blocked too.
On my last day too laundry late delivery to me till the day i wanted and need to call for it.
Hope they will more play attention to the guest request when they feel somethinf wrong with the room.

The building is great and staffs are friendly. I am disappointed because I didn’t get to have my rooms as I reversed. My family has allergies which can’t inhale cigarette smoke and she has to use inhaler. We were put on the smoking floor.

Bad Experience.

WE have to call 10 times and wait hours for them to come and do something not right in the room. I think Expedia customers are given the worst rooms in the hotel. This is not the first time I have experienced this kind of treatment under Expedia.

friendly and helpful staff, hotel located just beside a shopping mall, this criteria is very good, just that we had to wait more than 1 hour to get our room ready and grab drivers are not allowed to pick up/drop in front up hotel lobby in normal circumstances.

Location is convenient as it's located near the mall. However, the rooms require maintenance particularly the lock. I was locked out from the room twice and always felt insecure to leave the room.

This hotel is located right next to the largest mall in Pontianak which makes it a great location with access to entertainment (Fun Station, Amazon and Cinemas). The mall food court also has a large variety of food to chose from. Was there for 7 nights with booking for 2 rooms. There was initially a mix up in the rooms as we had requested for a connecting rooms. The front desk wanted to charge us more for this but after we have made our strong displeasure known, this was quickly fixed up by the manager of the hotel.

The hotel was nice and the staff were very professional and helpful. It is only a short walk to the Ayani Mall, but there is not much else to do near the hotel. The pool looked nice, but it is partially surrounded by the restaurant.

We stopped here to and from Southern Kalimantan Orangutan klotok trip.
The meals good although I found the breakfast ordinary.
We found front desk staff very helpful always smiling and accommodating.
Had a fab experience where they went out of their way with a laundry request as we had only a few hours there. This impressed us.
It's a very clean comfortable fairly modern hotel (compared to other areas we had just been to especially).
They also arranged for a driver for 4 hrs at an hourly rate which we were happy with.
They were prompt with any queries or requests.

a very enjoyable stay

My family had a wonderful experience staying with mercure. Right from the time we check in till we leave. The staffs were very friendly and we love their smiles. The pool was really great fun for my kids.the food in the restaurant is delicious and the varieties keep changing. The ayani megamall is just within walking distance. We love the XXI MOVIE cineplex there.shopping was great fun too.
The slight setbacks is aircond not cold enough and the Wi-Fi was not useable. Other than that, it was a fantastic stay in mercure.

The Place to Stay

If you find yourself in need of a place to stay in Pontianak, Indonesia, I hope that you have booked a room in the Mercure. It provided a very contemporary refuge in a city that desperately needs such places. We had an enjoyable week's stay. Only the occassional power outage, usually not lasting more than a minute or two, was of any concern. We didn't use the restaurant or the pool, but the hotel laundry was great. In general, the staff was available and helpful.
